Guest Reviews
- Koketso (1/5): Bad -
- Tinyiko (1/5): Hated it - The place is decent looking and very clean. Private bookings are treated like we are in a university residence. It is so annoying really, no visitors allowed after certain times etc and many rules applied to students that are applied to us private booking. It is really irritating.
- Abubakar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zi (5/5): N/A - The peace and quite we really enjoyed that. The upmakert furniture, the bathroom and shower stunning There was no cleaning services, too expensive for the bachelor room. If you buy food on Mr you need to come downstairs to collect it.
- Tjaf (7/5): Good -
- Sultan (7/5): Good -
- Nawal (1/5): the worst stay - was the worst ever , nothing I didn’t like anything it’s like a prison cell , you feel like you are school kid , and staff are very bad
- Saima (7/5): Good place for those on the go but not for family. - The smoothness of getting all done The WIFI not displayed in the room
- Siphokazi (1/5): The most uncomfortable stay of my life. - Nothing Falsely advertised as a hotel instead of student accommodation with no option to cancel or for refund. Receptionist (female receptionist), Security (on duty 10/02) and Manager extremely rude & vindictive in their approach.
- Ntoetse (4/5): The property is well located and very clean and people are very friendly but please install Aircon. - The property is accessible and easy to find and has the facilities needed. The reception was excellent, and the room was very clean. The Wi-Fi was always reliable and has a strong signal. The room is too small and no aircon in the room and it was very hot. I had to sleep with windows open cos it was extremely hot, and the blinds was making a lot of noise and I couldn't sleep well due to that noise. The shower is also too small one can't bath freely and the basin is too small.
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Bianca (1/5): its not how it advertises online . its literally a student accommodation. my spare room in my place is bigger then the e - only the location everything other then location
- Khalil (7/5): Good -
- Ayanda (9/5): Value for money and great location. - Everything...
The place is in a great location.. Visitors having to leave before 11:00 pm, that is such an inconvenience.
- Ntendeni (8/5): Very good -
- Temoso (5/5): it was a lovely stay. wish I stayed long but I had a flight to catch. - it had everything you need to be comfortable. the dishes, glasses, plates and all which made it very easy. it’s mixed with a student accommodation. I felt like a students.
- Masuabi (1/5): Bad - Location It's a student accommodation.not ideal for holiday
- Ian (6/5): Pleasant - security an issue when walking from transport in areas close to accommodation
- Buckley (6/5): Pleasant -
- Beatrix (4/5): This place is not for independent adult travelers! - The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The staff in the office are cold as ice. The booking.com listing is misrepresenting the establishment. It’s student accommodation with draconian rules that perhaps work for young young adolescents and children. The WiFi is not stable so you cannot decide to do work if you are a professional who always needs to check in with the office etc. There are people fighting outside every night and it’s horrible to hear. There are no aircons despite it being listed as a luxury room. I only realized this after I paid and stayed two nights. Don’t lie on the booking.com state clearly that it’s student accommodation and that you only service rooms every second day and not daily as claimed on booking.com
- Nonhlanhla (7/5): the place was nice to stay at because it is close to clothing shops and restaurants. But it’s not a good place to stay a - I liked the staff. They were friendly 😊 The basin was to small and water was not flowing down the drain.
- Daniela (8/5): Great location, good value for the money, front entrance security - Central location, 24/7 security at the front entrance, AC WiFi was very spotty and not working all the time.
Shower door did not close / seal properly. It was hard to adjust the water temperature.
One of 2 beds was broken.
Bottom shelf was not straight, and its placement made it easy to hit one’s head when accessing the safe or the electric plugs
- Trisha (7/5): Convenience - The convenience initially and cleanliness of the place Lack of air-conditioning or a fan.... If there was either, I was not informed. Also the noise. It's student accomodations, I am surprised that they have to put with so much disturbance from the area
- Mo (6/5): False advertising, did the job but largely disappointing. - It was clean and the staff were friendly. The set up and amenities of were definitely not what was advertised/pictured in the listing. This place is a repurposed student res, not a leisure accommodation - way smaller than the pictures used. The bed specifically was an uncomfortable single bed - nothing like what was pictured.
- Thulani (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lawal (2/5): Very poor -
- Chamel (8/5): Very good -
- Patience (9/5): Superb -
- Ntwanano (1/5): Bad - Not enough toiletries and thin walls which resulted in less privacy. Not enough teabags for two people for 2 nights.
- Gariba (6/5): Pleasant -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bien situe pour visiter la ville. Je n’ai rien d’autre a dire
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lots of young people staying in this hotel. Good location. No issues.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I chose this property for the microwave, stove top, refrigerator, kitchen sink. I was aware there was no air condition. Unfortunately I was not prepared for how hot Cape Town gets in March. They provided a fan, which helped a bit but still, I would not stay here again due to the lack of air condition.
- Debra (6/5): - The staff were all super friendly and the unit was clean and well maintained. The picture and the actual unit were miles apart. The unit was unbearably hot that it was unpleasant to be inside.
- Wayne (8/5): - Adequate overnight stay. Very reasonable, central location.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The check in was quick and professional, I also got help with my luggage to the room. The room though very small with a single bed looked fairly clean and tidy. What bothered me especially on the first night was the air and noise coming from a not properly closing window. The staff were friendly especially the reception staff.
- Uba (6/5): Pictures can be deceiving - Small room. Disappointed
- Verified traveler (10/5): - first internet, staffs were kind and guiding and friendly
- Samantha (8/5): Great Stay - The room was not ready when I arrived, but the staff were very helpful and friendly. There is always someone willing to assist you! Central location and easy access to all areas. I will definitely be returning.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect location surrounded by students - Excelent location in terms of access to touristic points. But one better take care walking around at night.
Don't expect a hotel service. Towels and bed sheets are not changed every day and room Ian cleaned also every other day or every two days.
Although a students house, the place is quite and organized with some important facilities as washing machines and common areas.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay. Extremely clean. Perfect for a single traveler or double. Super tiny bathroom but decent enough. Great location. Friendly security. No problems.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Student dorms, very busy with students learning English
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property looked nothing like the photos. It was a room facing the internal ventilation system with pigeon droppings and no air conditioning. It appeared to be a boarding house for students.I spent only one night there.
- Brian (8/5): Great for solo tourists - Small, well appointed rooms with everything you need except AC. There was something that resembled a thermostat but it could not be operated. Wifi, TV, and hot water were all great. This is student accommodations that doubles a hotel so expect a dorm room and not a hotel room. The location is amazing for daytime tourism. A 5 minute walk from the Community Gardens and many restaurants.
- Alfred (4/5): Tk - Allocated room was stuffy and the bed was a 3 quarter.... I reported the matter and nothing was done
- Gilmore (2/5): Avoid like the plague!!! - Nothing like depicted in the images on your website!!! Absolute FALSE advertising!!!
- Achim (10/5): Toller - Sehr gute Lage, nettes Personal, sehr sauber
- Cecilia (6/5): Limited to no housekeeping. Strict rules. - You must check in during office hours... the rules for visitors are a bit strict. The rooms are TINY. Housekeeping is not available outside of office hours & not on the weekend! I ran out of toilet paper & was told to go to the supermarket. Instead, i booked another hotel.
