Tian (6/5): Good value for money stay by the river - The location by the river makes for an idyllic spot to relax before and after a day of exploring Kampot. The bungalows are falling apart a bit and the beds weren’t super comfy. While the location by the river is great, it is also a little far from the centre which is a bit of a pain if you want to pop out for a coffee in the morning or dinner in the evening (especially during rainy season). Also the restaurant food is pretty average so don’t count on eating there! I also didn’t love the attitude of the staff who weren’t very helpful with answering questions etc.

Share (7/5): One stop - Beautiful view by the deck area. They do lack maintenance,as bathroom taps leak and loose,the front door doesn't close properly and the curtain rail was broken in my room.staff friendly and helpful.The pictures of the place are beautiful but looks can be deceiving.I would recommend it in the 10 dollar range per night just to lay down your head to rest ready for your next day travelling.
Mia (3/5): Upset we stayed here in the end. - - Beds were comfortable - spacious triple room - Setting has a lot of potential Day one : the bike we rented through the hotel broke down, we waited an hour on the side of the road for someone to exchange our bike (the hotel was a six minute drive away) Day two: we walked into our room and the floor was flooded, my bag and everything in it was wet. They moved us to a different room, no longer with the Mountain View balcony that we had paid for. They charged us in full for that room at the end claiming the two rooms were the same. The showers were cold. Service took a very long time. Housekeeping did not come once. Felt like we were paying a lot for a service and room we didn’t get. I’ve never left a bad review before but this was really disappointing . Would not stay here again. The places next door seemed nicer and had pools.

Brett (7/5): Reasonable accommodation for a couple of nights - The deck was lovely to sit on with its view of the river. The room was small but okay. It was quite nosy, especially as my bungalow was directly opposite the reception/bar. Wasn’t a great deal of privacy in that configuration. Another issue was they let visitors (who were not staying there) ride their motorcycles right up to the bar area at all hours. They had an enormous car park (20m away) but didn’t restrict lazy folk driving right up to the reception area outside my room. It was a pain hearing the motorbikes coming and going all night. Plus the young staff had their young friends sitting waiting in the bar playing their rap boombox both nights. Management should restrict visitors to daytime hours so they don’t disturb the paying guests.
639yun (6/5): Good for budget - Good place for budget travel. Near the city and have basic amenities with good location. The views are amazing with river and hammock. It's good to bring your own and enjoy eating there. The room seems to be in order but don't expect any luxury items.

And the foods are good too. The room is very old, dirty, and not so hygienic. Some facilities are already broken. The front door is not fully closed which is quite unsafe. And there’s no proper bathroom amenities. I found the cockroach in the bathroom and on the amenities. On top of that, the loud noise from the restaurant and the common seating area is very disturbing. I experienced a group of foreigners who partied and drank until 2 am.

John (3/5): DO NOT pick Room U - Standard Double Room !!! 😳🥴 Be warned 😱 - 1. Location 2. Food & hospitality staff 3. The grounds cleaners 4. The garden 1. Holes in the wall - mosquito's 2. The WIFI is TERRIBLE 3. Air conditioner, hot shower & douche are all faulty 4. The 2 male reception staff do not give a damn! He told me to follow him, walk 60 metres & 2 flights of stairs. He made no offer to help me. Im a 60yr old man, trying to carry my luggage with 2 hands. It was over 35 degrees. 5. Room & ensuite are unsanitary 6. No free water 7. The card door key was faulty. Therefore, the power kept going off and on 8. The large puddle of water on the floor, next to the bed, from the air-conditioner 9. The shower head kept falling off its holder. (see photos) 10. The toilet leaked all over the floor

72thydap (6/5): The amostsphere of the bungalow - Stayed there for 1 night. Cozy and comfortable with beautiful scenery. Not very quiet when you go on weekends since there are many people going there. Room is ok not super comfortable but recommend for budget trip. View is ok and they are near the town At least they have 24h parking
Katharina (10/5): Exceptional - Super lovely Bungalows, perfect Location directly at the river with access to go swimming, while at the same time walking distance (25 min) to city, alternatively 5min tuk tuk for 1.50 dollar, easily available with grab. Bungalows where nice and clean, got small complimentary water bottles and bathroom products. Staff was extremely friendly and lovely. Very happy with my stay, would book it again -

Helped get a motorbike for us to use the entire time we were there without any problem and the view on the river from the room and the guest area was amazing. Peaceful location just outside of the town. The huts were cute The walls were very unsecure from bugs and mosquitos. The beds were horrible for comfort, and the floors and walls weren't even on the hut on the river, and the door didn't close all the way. We moved to a hut down the driveway off the water and it felt alittle more solid, and was alot quieter. Really nice facility overall for the area.

It is walkable into town 25 mins. You need a international license to rent a scooter here. Shower pressure weak but doable.

Clean, comfortable rooms with own bathrooms. Small bar area on a platform next to the river, serving a variety of food and drinks at great prices. Staff were very helpful, and spoke English well. No fridges in the room - but we were allowed to use the one at the reception/bar when required.

There was no hot water in the shower, little interest in fixing the problem, However, considering the daily price paid, it can be ignored. Poorly functioning rental motorcycle...From the reception comes a slightly annoying music from 2pm to 10pm...from the adjacent resort there are night parties, however you can still sleep without difficulty

Chhengan (8/5): Staffs very friendly and helpful. - Room was okay During my stay, the hot water machine was not functioning properly, which forced me to take cold showers instead during the current warm season and I felt uncomfortable.
Elise (4/5): Disappointing - This place has so much potential. The bungalows are very cute and set in a nice little courtyard with a lovely deck on the waterfront The flaws just really added up. Everything was entirely run down. Mosquito net had massive holes everywhere, the mattress was thin and old and had springs poking in our back. As the bungalows were completely open to the elements, so were we. We booked 3 nights but left after 2 because of the cockroaches. Mosquitos we can deal with, but the roaches crawled all over everywhere. The neighbours have loud karaoke parties until 2:00 (and they are terrible singers). Also... the grounds are shared with a rooster who is convinced that night is day

Abhishek (9/5): Lots of small problems but can be ignored for the price and view - It's a very beautiful location and apartment, especially for the prize. Right on the riverfront, and you can also arrange a direct pickup from the hotel for the river cruise. The staff are very helpful and courteous The food was amazing (seafood rice noodles was delicious) and reasonably priced. The room was way too small, even for the price. You had hardly any space to move with the bed. It consistently led to being hit all over. The bathroom did not have any hooks to even hang clothes or a towel. Made it very difficult to take a bath. On that note, the WC position made it close to impossible to sit on. The door lock is a sliding door, and ours was broken, which rendered the lock useless. The mosquito net made no sense on how to unfurl. A basic square one would've worked just fine.

I would recommend to call for a exterminator The stuff was nice and the food was good. I would add that there’s other options of rooms there, and bigger bungalows
Isabelle (4/5): It’s not a 3 star but a one star hotel. Not worth the money - The view on the river was beautiful. The staff was nice and welcoming. They helped me book a kayak tour. I walked downtown. It took me 20 minutes. It’s not a big deal but it could bother some people. Tuk tuks are expensive. I paid 2,50$ for a ride The two chairs in the bedroom were broken. The electric plugs were so loose it was hard to charge my phone. The sink whose tap wasn’t correctly fixed had only cold water. The door had no lock but a padlock. I stayed there three nights and my bedroom wasn’t cleaned one day. And above all very noisy. My bedroom was close to the restaurant and the music was on during afternoons and nights. I had breakfast included and they tried to have me pay for it. It’s a poor breakfast and you have to choose among the list they offer and they tell you you can’t get 3 out of the 8 they have. Very surprising

Staff were really nice, friendly and helpful! The bed was hard as a rock, pretty typical for Asia but it was lumpy and really uncomfortable and the mosquito net was too small for the bed, didn’t wrap around completely so mosquitoes were an issue..

Melanie (9/5): Very relaxing we would come again! - We stayed in Bungalow J it was very cool at night and comfortable. This room also had Aircon but we didn't need to use it much. Bathroom clean, spacious and airy. Kettle and coffee making facilities in room. Lighting perfect not too bright for easy night sleep. Our room also had a nice little balcony to sit and relax. We ate the deep fried prawns they were big and delicious! The resort has a lovely river deck to eat and drink and watch the sunrise or sunset. Location is quiet at night and only a small tuk tuk ride into Kampot Town Centre. So for us it was perfect. Nothing

Christina (7/5): Good - The hotel has some rooms that are exceptional related to the river view. There are rooms with balconies on the river. Relaxing on this balcony is exceptional. Especially in the evening when the little boats and the trains are passing. I really loved my room It was very noisy. People were gathering at the reception dancing and discussing it until late. It was difficult to sleep. Also, it was not very clean. I stayed 3 days, and no one came to clean. The bathroom had just a water tube for washing a douching cabine.

Simon (6/5): Show them how to work - The room was clean and the food was delicious The Personal was really bad. The breakfast was 2 times almost cold. The reason was not the kitchen. It was more important that the waitress had to speak with some friends instead of bringing us food. The sanitary things were leaking everywhere in the room.. this hotel would be a goldspot if you fix a lot and show the personal how to work. It was also anoying, that the personal had to park they scooters infront of the reception.. in the morning at 6 a lot of scooter pass our hotelroom. And thy have a lot of space in the front of they hotel..
Maria (9/5): Superb - The location is very quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking to chill or just relax and disconnect, this is your place. The shower barely has water pressure.

Shaun (8/5): Great place right on riverside. - Bamboo Bungalows on riverside was such a great different type of bungalow, great sunrises and swim off your small decking area Our Riverside bungalow A was a little noisy as it adjoins the bar seating area suggest bungalow B & C.
David (10/5): Lovely place by the river. - The best part of the room was the view and that we got to go down and swim. It was a bit hot in the afternoon, so having the AC really helped out. Plus, it was not too far from the town. I felt like I was able to enjoy a bit of the fresh air and river. Nothing. It was such a lovely place to say with the river right next to the room. I just had to be careful at night when the high tide comes in from the sea, other than that, we would love to stay there again. Lovely place indeed.
