• Farias Garcia (10/5): Good, budget hostel. Great location and friendly staff - Great place with an excellent location and very kind, friendly hosts. I originally planned to stay for 4 days but ended up staying 15, which says a lot about how comfortable it was. The room is spacious and comfortable, making it easy to settle in for a longer stay. There are no cooking facilities, and there is some noise due to its proximity to the road, but overall it was a very pleasant and convenient stay. The value for money is very good, especially considering it is a budget accommodation. Some guests mention cleanliness issues, but in my experience both my room and the toilets were very clean and easy to use. It is true there may be a high number of guests sharing the two toilets, but I never had to wait long to use them. They are simple and modest facilities, offering the basic essentials needed, but still comfortable and practical. There are no cooking facilities, and there is some noise due to its proximity to the road, but overall it was a very pleasant and convenient stay.

Pire expérience de ma vie - Je n’ai rien aimé dans cette établissement, établissement miteux chambre sale avec des résidu de bois ronger par je ne sais quel insecte, literie pas au norme matelas ou trop grand ou trop petit par rapport au sommier, La chambre est sale en dessous des lit nous avons trouver à boire et à manger … Tout vraiment tout personnel désagréable qui tire une tête à la moindre demande qui n’assume pas que l’hôtel est sale et on ose nous dire mais vous avez pas vu sur la description de l’hôtel ! Bah non rien est afficher sinon croyez moi que jamais nous aurions logé 1 nuit ici Nous avions réservé 6 nuit et une nuit sans dormir nous a suffit à partir des l’aube à 7h30 du matin ! Aucune excuse du personnel aucun geste commercial La chambre était d’une insalubrité rarement vue dans ma vie je veux bien comprendre certaine choses mais là ont nous a clairement pris pour des cons… Pas d’eau chaude vous vous laverez au seau d’eau chauffer à la bouilloire, Matelas non conforme au sommier 10cm d’épaisseur vous toucher le bois dessous Sommier = vulgaire planche en bois Nous avons fait le ménage à l’eau de javel tellement c’était sale photos à l’appuie bien sûr … Nous avons demander remboursement au vue de tout ça nous l’attendons toujours à 40€ la nuit ça fait cher la poubelle … Pour conclure le tout nous avons attraper des boutons sur le corps une espèce d’allergie car nous avons clairement passer la nuit à nous gratter sans même fermer les yeux Pire expérience de ma vie ! J’aurais préférée rester clairement à la rue ! Je ne recommande cette établissement à personne nous avons booké moins cher bien mieux qu’ici ! J’hésiterais pas non plus à mettre un avis sur votre page Google ! Vous voulez accueillir des touriste il y’a un minimum à respecter nous venons pas ici pour vivre dans cest condition a 40€ la nuit ça ne mérite même pas 5€ pour moi !!!! Pour finir un chien de rue a séjourner sous notre lit et ça les a bien fait rire le matin ! Si j’avais pu mettre plus de photos j’en aurais mis ! Y’a de quoi faire

• Sylvie (1/5): QUALITÉ NON AUX RENDEZ-VOUS - Le Patio et la facade de l'immeuble. Accuei souriant. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement, en tout cas pas la chambre qui m’a été attribuée. La chambre annoncée pour 18 m² en fait en réalité environ 9 m². L’espace est extrêmement exigu : deux lits jumeaux, une poutre en plein milieu du passage, une porte d’entrée, et trois ouvertures grillagées… le tout concentré dans un espace minuscule. Résultat : circulation difficile et aucune intimité. Les ventilateurs sont présents, mais manifestement non nettoyés depuis très longtemps. Les ouvertures grillagées laissent entrer les moustiques en permanence, ce qui rend les nuits pénibles. Les matelas sont très inconfortables : on sent clairement les ressorts. Salle d’eau collective Parlons-en. Elle fait environ 1 m². Dès l’ouverture de la porte vers l’extérieur, on est littéralement sur les toilettes. Le pommeau de douche est juste au-dessus, légèrement sur la gauche, tout comme le lavabo non recordé à l'eau. Il est impossible de se doucher sans mouiller l’ensemble de l’espace. C’est très mal conçu et peu hygiénique. Une seule salle d'eau pour tout l'établissement. Emplacement de la chambre La chambre se situe au 2ᵉ étage : une fenêtre au-dessus du lit donne sur le couloir, où les clients passent toute la nuit ; une deuxième fenêtre au pied du lit donne sur l’escalier extérieur ; la troisième ouverture, au pied du second lit, donne également sur l’escalier. Autrement dit : aucune isolation phonique, ni visuelle. Entre les passages, les bruits et la lumière, le sommeil est fortement perturbé. État général Tout paraît vétuste : sols, murs, portes. Seuls la façade et le patio sont agréables à l’œil. À noter toutefois : l’accueil est convivial, souriant et chaleureux — c’est le seul vrai point positif. Rapport qualité / prix Le rapport qualité/prix n’est absolument pas au rendez-vous. J’ai payé 24 € la nuit pour cette chambre. Honnêtement, au vu des prestations, sa valeur réelle se situe entre 6 et 10 € maximum.

Für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht zu empfehlen. - Die unterkunft war sehr zentral gelegen, freundliche empfangsmitarbeiterinnen und man konnte direkt dort touren zu einem vertretbaren preis buchen Das Gebäude hat die besten Zeiten wohl leider schon hinter sich. Am fußende des Betts machte sich irgendeine art von von holzkäfern zu schaffen und fraß das bett. Kleine holzspäne oder käferausscheidungen waren auf der Matratze und unter dem bett war ein regelrechter berg. Auf der Insel war stromausfall (nicht deren schuld) aber selbst als überall wieder der Strom ging, schalteten sie das WIFI und den Strom erst nach mehrmaligem Bitten wieder an. Im Bad gab es keine Fenster, daher auch kein Licht zu der Zeit. Kein Klopapier vorhanden.
• Viktoriia (1/5): Terrible experience, totally not recommended ! - Only location is good Nothing else Personnel were so rude. Didn’t allow us to check in even a minute earlier. When we came back at 3 pm, housekeeping staff didn’t got any “handover” as she stated. So she wanted us to wait until her boss comes back from brake. Than after 20 min of us begging her and explaining that we already paid , she allowed us finally to get to our room. Shower is not working properly, so slow flow, was taking ages to take shower. Also we check out very earlier, but left our bags till we back from tour. When we returned , asked for place to change clothes, head receptionist stated that we must pay 50 pesos per person, to take shower only. It’s not that it’s expensive, but we stayed there and paid not a cheap price , even left earlier. Totally ruined all impression ! In my opinion you can be nice at least to your own guest

Le recensioni negative sono del dormitorio, noi avevamo la camera privata che é in linea con lo standard di El Nido ma ad un prezzo più basso. Tavoli e sedie appena fuori dalla stanza e in reception hanno anche un frigo con bibite e birre fredde. Signora della reception gentilissima (Ellen) e super disponibile. Buoni i prezzi per le escursioni, abbiamo anche noleggiato con loro il motorino e il prezzo era il più basso rispetto a tutti gli altri. Acqua fredda della doccia

• Worldglobetrotter (9/5): Basic accommodation, but that’s what I needed: no frills, but rather small price and good location. - This place is a former restaurant that luckily is now working only as a hostel because with the restaurant open it would have been very noisy. The individual room is very simple and NARROW. I think people from other continents may not be accustomed to it, but it is popular in Asia (especially in Japanese and Chinese megalopolis). The hostel is very central and the bus station to PPS is at 15-minute walk distance. It is possible to pay by card through booking.com. Staff is downstairs 24/7. The shower had no hot water. Although the staff was nice when I met them, the problem is that they did not reply to my messages on booking.com before my arrival. They offer the classic tours A, B, C and D at a better price than other channels (as it is common practice for hostel to do so). The point is that you must book in advance, you cannot wait the evening before the tour. I knew about the importance of pre-booking and I got my spot by reserving through other channels, but I was disappointed not to have had the discounted price.

The bathroom was so moldy, dirty and smell like hell. They shouldn’t rent something who smell that bad. I need to cover my mouth with the towel to get in the bathroom. AC not strong enough for the crowded room.

I don't think the place deserves so low reviews, I expected so much worse. Toilet was pretty dirty, everybody wore shoes inside the dorm even when you're not supposed to so there was mud everywhere. There was also a smell of urine in the bathroom

• Ugo (1/5): Spend a few more pesos and go somewhere else - The only good thing about this place is the position: very close to both the ferry arrival and the city center without being surrounded by the noise of the busy area. The room was extremely small, with a column in the middle that made every movement difficult and left almost no space for the luggage. Windows could not be closed, so it was impossible to keep light and noise outside. Bathrooms are terrible: the shower is right beside the toilet with no separation at all, so the floor is wet all the time. Plus, the mirror is right outside the bathroom, so I had to shave in the corridor.

• Olivia (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend - I turned up to the guesthouse and it was clear a man had been using my room as there was a sweat patch all over the bed. Didn’t want to stay there so I left to find another place to stay and I still haven’t received any word from the guesthouse about a refund or any justification on why my room was being used by someone else. The wifi was awful aswell.

• Daisy (10/5): Loved my stay here, felt very safe the whole time travelling as a solo female, highly recommend! - AMAZING location - 1 min walk to the beach! Staff were very accomodating and even set me up a temporary bed to sleep for a few hours till my room was ready! The younger chef was very friendly and had an amazing special going, and even gave me a free meal for helping her sort her fish tank out. Toilets on 2nd floor didn’t flush properly, and it was hard to take a shower without flooding the whole bathroom.

• Teddy (6/5): Cheap stay (for El Nido) centrally located. - We arrived at Austrias GH as walk in guests but the rate was better online. The lady behind the reception counter was lovely and had a good sense of humor. We got the last room available on the ground floor. The rate for 3 pax was 2.500PHP which was quite good and the chill out / smoking area in front was nice as there were plenty of plants. The staff was very helpful and obliging. Water pressure was good so was the location. Thanks for having us. The ground floor rooms need a bit of air circulation so first you need to open all windows. Humid A/C smell. Unfortunately everyone who walks to the first floor can look into the room. Concerning room size and bed: Two small queen size beds work probably for a family with two kids but is too small for grown ups. Be careful with the sink in the bathroom as it’s shaky. You don’t want to hold on to that. We know that these microfiber towels which are horrible for the environment and on the skin are widely spread. The towels here were another level having the style of thick plastic flannel 😂 but clean. This place is good for someone who is looking for a private room in town but doesn’t want too harm the wallet too much. Wifi could also be better.

• Martin (6/5): All in all happy with my stay there. Central place for a cheap price - Very sentral place with a short walk to the beach and the city centre. The staff is polite and nice. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and there are plenty noise from the ac all night. The toilet and showers are old and not in great condition.
• Kym (1/5): Avoid - so unclean - The location was adequate and the staff seemed friendly. It was unclean and smelly, especially the toilets. The dorm was very large with lots of guests and not much space for luggage. There was no sheet or blanket to cover yourself and when we asked if we could have a sheet or a blanket, they didn’t have any so they gave us a towel to use!! The air conditioner was so loud that one of the dorm members had to turn it off so he could sleep, but then the rest of us were warm.

Enough space for the luggage, AC, close to an ATM, just two minutes to the beach and wherever you want to go. I did not like the bathrooms. They were way to small. You could not even sit on the toilet with a closed door properly.
