- Daydream30206105353 (10/5): Nuitée pour le marché de Noël - Hôtel très propre et calme et vraiment très bien placé par apport au marché de Noël donc à la ville de Strasbourg. Le parking du cinéma n’est vraiment pas loin de l’hôtel à pied. Un galerie commerciale est situé juste à côté du Mcdo. Et le tram est juste à côté de l’hôtel. Franchement très contente de cet hôtel. Tout est à proximité. Merci pour ce séjour.
- isabelledO7175VV (10/5): Lovely staff, good food and a welcoming atmosphere - My husband and I were in Strasbourg the week of our Wedding anniversary to visit the city and its christmas markets. We had a great time and felt really welcome at OKKO Hotels. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast and little snacks in the evening were delicious and it was an overall warm and friendly atmosphere. I also loved the Christmas decorations.
- carlodD2329FO (2/5): Be prepared for a cold shower - I stayed at the hotel for two nights in room 813. On both mornings, I was unable to get a warm shower. Despite informing the staff, I received inconsistent answers. I found it particularly frustrating when the front desk staff told me that it’s normal for the water to be cold early in the morning. This is unacceptable for a rate of €300 per night. Additionally, I suggested that the two breakfasts I had (worth €40 in total) be offered as a courtesy, but only one was provided, which I found inappropriate. Based on this experience, I will likely avoid Okko Hotels for future business travel.
- apollinel661 (6/5): Can do better but good location and new facilities - I have enjoyed the location and the staff. The aperitivo and the club is really nice initiative so that we enjoyed our evening. For me the restaurant offered some charcuterie and cheese platter that was truly deceiving ( especially after the aperitivo that was excellent). We got some tasteless brie, some frozen bread and some mortadella when so many good local produce available..... Also the bathroom offers limited intimacy and you can wake your partner up with the light, not the most convenient to me. The bedding is good ( except the pillows) and the staff was friendly and helpful !
- paulinemM2949SA (4/5): Would definitely not recommend. - Poor experience, soulless place, no proper bar, reception desk rarely manned. Bathroom hideous, NO privacy! If on the bed you can see everything happening in the bathroom! Shower leaked all over floor, no magnifying mirror. Wardrobe was 3 small shelves and 5 hangers behind a curtain. Nowhere to hang a wet coat. Nowhere to put suitcase. Pillows flat. Poor courtesy tray items, never located water fountain that was suppose to be on each floor. Poor value for money.
- jaymG4935YJ (10/5): Lovely hotel great concept of community stay combined with 4 star luxury - Great Japanese concept hotel . There is nice common area with free coffee snacks and fruits. It’s like workplace and nice hanging out place where on Evan enjoy hostel type facilities like watching a sports game on television. We watched French open from there. Great local wines and beers available at the common area for reasonable price. Bathroom design is a bit too modern but the room was comfortable with all the necessities taken care off
- 96milkag (2/5): Not recommended - This hotel is a complete letdown. I complained directly to their director, and even the receptionist admitted we weren’t the only travelers misled — yet they refuse to correct their misleading amenities. Instead, they hid behind a screenshot of their FAQ with a buried note about parking. That is not transparency — that is deception. For a 4-star hotel, this is downright unacceptable and borders on false advertising. The breakfast was another joke: embarrassingly poor, cheap, and low-quality. If you’re excited about a “choice” of cereals, this might work for you — but anyone expecting a proper 4-star breakfast will be sorely disappointed. This hotel misrepresents itself, doesn’t take responsibility, and shows no respect for its guests. Extremely frustrated with Okko AND Booking.com for enabling this misleading information to stay online. I would strongly advise avoiding this place.
- lingone (8/5): Overall good quality good prices - Not the first stay at Okko and probably not the last. Location near the old town is very good. They have no parking space themselves but there ist a good parking facility nearby, 1 day 20€. Rooms are small but pretty and clean. Value for money was very good. Breakfast is a little basic but not lacking anything essential. No go was soggy and not in the least crispy bacon. We will come back soon.

City-view seem' s to be the Black Forest. Hotel not reachable by car, footpath around 600 m with baggage. Never again.

- Anelia1971 (6/5): Great stay if you enjoy puzzles and no secrets - We had two main issues: the lights and the bathroom – both of which turned our stay into a delightful little escape-room experience. Lights: Mysterious and moody – not by design, but by default. Want to read in bed? Great! Just be prepared to light up the entire bathroom in the process. We never fully cracked the code of the light switches, but we suspect a degree in electrical engineering might help. Bathroom: Stylish and modern, yes. Private? Not quite. The bathroom features trendy but immovable slatted panels – meaning: yes, you can see in. We like our bodies though. The door doesn’t close completely - it leaves a gap. Let’s just say... sound travels. Pro tip: pack headphones – or if you're the shy type, the lobby is lovely this time of year. It also gently encourages us (Germans) to be a bit more like the French – after all, French designer Patrick Norguet clearly isn’t on the shy side of life. All in all, a beautiful place – especially if you're into open-concept everything and in a stable relationship... or looking for a subtle reason to end one.
- Daniel (8/5): - Great location, contemporary design Had reservation for 3 rooms. Arrived 01:00am due to flight delays. On the 3rd room, we found out the hotel check-in a different guest. No problem, right? Well..... Hotel ended up providing a key for a room where a guest was already sleeping!! (Past 1 am!!). In My room, the plastic of the bed-head was deteriorated and pieces fall on the white sheets and pillows all the time. Not pleasant. Other tgan that, great potential but requires better management.
- MatCerm (10/5): Great in almost every aspect - We stayed in the hotel for one weekend, the staff was super nice, the room was clean and beautifully designed, not a bad view either. Only thing I would criticize is the wear and tear of the room, which nobody seemed to care to repair. Some very thoughtful ideas like water fountain in the corridor, coffee machine in the room, linen sheets which I totally adore and many more!
- dimentieva (10/5): Spectacular location and stuff, the AC could be a bit stronger - Great praise goes out to the hotel for its stuff, property, cleanliness, location and everything. They offer you a small aperitivo and have excellent cocktails to go with them! The room was as I said, nice and clean, but it couldn't cool down sufficiently on very warm days. With a stronger AC, it would be 10/10 hotel in every sense, but even now I cannot praise and recommend it enough.

- Travela100 (10/5): Great Hotel and Brilliant Staff - Our stay at Okko Hotel Strasbourg was fantastic. The staff were excellent—friendly and professional. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was very modern. The breakfast was very good, providing a great start to our days. (We had breakfast as part of the deal.) We stayed for 6 nights and loved every minute. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to the Winston Churchill Tram stop. For just around €10, you can get a 3-day unlimited urban tram pass, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. A top tip for travelers from Germany: get off at Kehl station and take the tram from there for great value! The area around the hotel is wonderful, providing a safe and relaxed environment. It's perfect for walking or taking the tram into the old part of town—a highly recommended activity. The hotel's club area is brilliant for unwinding and enjoying a complimentary soft drink,fruit and biscuits. Overall, Okko Hotel Strasbourg offers great value for money in a superb location. We had an excellent experience and highly recommend it. Would love to spend time here in the summer. PS Strasbourg was great. But that's another review.
- andreap77792025 (10/5): Strasbourg Okko - Staff is very friendly, the room is not too big but functional and clean. The bed is comfortable. I really like the concept of snacking: you can always have a cup of tea or coffee.
- radulucianj (10/5): City Appartaments - A modern 4-star hotel featuring a spacious lounge with amenities such as a billiard table, snack bar, and dedicated workspace. The location is excellent, situated right in the heart of Strasbourg's harbor area, in a vibrant and contemporary neighborhood.
- paulpandea (4/5): Heating system out of order and hotel management not customer oriented - The heating system was out of order in the room number 422. Therefore it was terribly cold whole night long. We complained about that next morning. They confirmed that the heating system was broken and they changed our room. We applied for a refund of the first terribly cold night and the hotel management didn't even want to hear about that. Their explanation: we should have sent the complaint in the middle of the night and they would have changed our room at 2 am in the night. Terrible services and hotel management. Just book another hotel and stay for away from Okko hotel.

If you are comfortable doing your thing in your bathroom with your partner next to you with glass walls and a snuggy room than this room is for you. Service was okay. No communication on breakfast, we and up paying 36 for breakfast because the other girl said we can have breakfast. The dont have parking, only at the nearest garage which is 5 min walking. If you got lots o baggage this might be a bit frustrating. Cant park the car in front as well… parking for one day is 20 euro

- Wayne (6/5): Disappointed. - Kinda strange. Owners made a big effort to creat a hip and cool hotel but screwed up some fundamentals. Shower have no water barriers so water gets all over floors. In first room the bathroom literally flooded because the floor pitch is wrong. In our second room it just splashed over most of the floor. Light switches were indecipherable. No pace to put luggage. Front desk said that they have no luggage racks and to put the luggage on the floor as the furniture is too small and weak to hold anything heavy. Floors are a cold rubberized material. A standard double is small with a bed that is not a queen. No fridge in room. No amenities.

- Terri (4/5): - The staff was super friendly. However, at checkout we were charged for breakfast 3 times, despite having free breakfast. My husband questioned it and the girl told him she was removing one after he explained I was sick 2 mornings and didn’t come down for breakfast However, it was not removed. My reservation stated free breakfast so we shouldn’t have been charged anything other than city tax. I will dispute these charges if they don’t refund. This is no way to do business. I would not recommend. They have your credit card for taxes so they can charge you whatever.

- Lorena (10/5): - I always stay at an Okko hotel when I go to a location where they're available. Okko Strasbourg was as expected, helpful staff, modern and clean room (big window with canal view!). The Club is one of the things I love about this chain, very nice place to relax in with a hot drink in the late evening after a day of exploring the city. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the center, but a tram stop is right outside of the hotel if you're not up to walking.
- Michael B (10/5): Best close to University - This is great hotel for someone visiting the University. It is closer than the hotels in the city center. It is modern, very quiet, and comfortable with a great queen-sized bed, nice pillows, and large soft towels. The rooms are small by American standards, but typical of European hotels. There is a small but functional desk and chair for working, but it is not a room that one wants to relax in for a whole day. However, the hotel has a super nice club room with large windows, comfortable chairs and sofas, and free snacks. I often took a book down to ‘Le Club’ to read. There is a large shopping center very close and nice walking along the pretty canal. The city center is about 15-20 minutes’ walk and the tram stop is right next to the hotel.
- Mohit (4/5): - As many others have mentioned - there is a clear problem with cleanliness and hygeine at this hotel. The front desk staff are nice and sweet, genuinely helpful however they need to seriously train their cleaning staff. When we checked in - there were planty of human hair on the bed, toilet and shower area, and a large metal screw lying on the corner of the bed which could have hurt someone badly had they stepped on it with bare feet. If this wasn’t bad enough we had asked for an extra duvet and the cleaning staff just entered the room without knocking while I was sitting on the toilet, I screamed and she left also you can see everything from the toilet as it is all exposed glass with no privacy, the staff tried entering several times during our stay without ever knocking at the door which was absoultely awful. Eventually they did give us the extra duvet but it was of no use as thay duvet smelled awfully bad and one could just feel the dirt and dust all over the duvet and yes there were more human hair sticking to it. Sorry when we asked for an extra duvet we didn’t mean someone’s dirty used duvet that has been rolled on the floor before being placed on our bed. Please also be warned when they say free food and drinks in the club lounge its just a bunch of sugary mini cookies and a salty trail mix and some brownies - nothing healthy at all. The drinks are hot tea, coffee from a machine and some cold non alcoholic beverages.

Reception will tell you to go to the “club” to get hot drinks in winter… In the middle of the night? Very impractical, Inconvenient concept. Also, the room toilet floor tiles don’t dry. Your feet will be wet and very uncomfortable, especially in winter, whenever you go to the toilet. Our clothes cannot dry in the room.

- peter (6/5): very nice facilities, small rooms and expensive - We have stayed at the Okko several times before. All was very good with one exception. The cost of the breakfast was 16 euros/per person which felt expensive and I was overcharged incorrectly for two breakfasts. So the bill was 32 euros more. The OKKO is a 4 start hotel with small rooms. and we paid around 500 euros in total including 1 free night from hotels.com. for 5 nights The cost in Germany for a 5star was 380 euros for 5 full nights.

- Barney (10/5): - Had a really good 3 night with OKKO during Christmas, everything is perfect. The staff are really friendly, fluent in English btw. The room is nice and cozy, the open club area is well designed. They offer free printing services which saved us a lot of trouble! Internet is super fast, had a few Skype meeting, no lag at all. In addition, the food is excellent. According to one of the staff, they purchase all the high quality food from the market based on the popularity. My wife and I love the roasted chicken breast the most. Great experience overall, will definitely consider OKKO again if I had another chance.

The snacks light dinner option which was provided was something we had never come across in 35 years of travelling. The tram stop was on the door step more or less and the tram system in Strasbourg is so easy to use. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

- expedia (10/5): Highly recommended - We moved to this hotel following a problem with our booked hotel & couldn’t have been happier. Lovely modern, clean, gym, sauna & the service is second to non. Particularly happy with the communal lounge area which was very very cosy and offered complimentary snacks, apéritif’s, soft drinks, tea and coffee. We were made to feel very welcome and valued. The tram stops outside the front door and only takes 5-10 mins to Strasbourg centre :)

- Verified traveler (8/5): - This hotel is a little out of the city center, but the tram stops right in front of the hotel. The tram in Strasbourg is one of the easiest I have ever used in Europe. The staff was amazing and delightful. The room is small, like most of Europe, but functional. The only thing that I did not like was the bathroom. Like many other reviews online the bathroom isn't sectioned off by a wall but glass with horizontal wood beams, probably to make the room not feel so small. For me, I did not enjoy this because I traveled with my 16 year old daughter who is all about privacy, and me too while I'm using the restroom. We learned to deal with it. Next, they have a wonderful lounge area with snacks and drinks 24/7. It was delightful. While my daughter and I were resting from our long walks, I enjoyed going to the lounge instead of the room. It is a wide open space with a lot of chairs and wonderful coffee maker that had everything from latte to espresso. Even with the bathroom situation I would stay here again, because of the staff, the lounge and the cleanliness.

NOTE that it fif NOT appear that personal vehicles can drive to the door (perhaps a taxi could) - took a while to find somewhere to leave the car while we unloaded. long term pay parking is about a 5 minute walk from hotel. friendly staff, the evening free light buffet was a great feature. standard room is a tad small for 2 people, so we made lots of use of the common space. pretty good value

- Nikolaj (6/5): Cool designer hotel with some major drawbacks. - Cool designer hotel with some major drawbacks. Cons: 1. In a double room we had only one towel. When we went to the reception at 7AM next morning to ask for an additional towel (not that we were thrilled to do that), the reception was empty, so we had to use a single towel for both of us. 2. The room design and layout is very poor. The see-through bathroom and toilet area is unacceptable in a double-room. It's just a glass door between you and the bathroom. 3. The layout of the room is terrible and some elements of the bathroom, protruding into the room are very injury-prone. The 'work desk' is just slapped in as an afterthought - in the worst place - just in front of the bathroom door, basically right at the entrance. Terrible layout. 4. Breakfast is a joke. I know it is included and it's better than nothing, but it is basically just a coffee machine and croissants. Pros: 1. Nice location. Public transportation access and hipster shopping/restaurant area around. 2. Quick check-in and check-out process. 3. Clean rooms. 4. Good selection of movies and TV programs on the TV. Overall, the hotel needs to fix the terrible, unusable designer rooms and bathrooms arrangement and then it can get solid 3 stars.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Club concept was excellent, especially the aperitivo element - pretty much took the place of dinner throughout our stay. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but are still comfortable.
- Tom (10/5): Space age and friendly. - The staff were friendly and helpful. A secure location was found for our bicycles. The room was well designed with its space age bathroom. The lounge area was spacious. Free tea/coffee in the lounge was welcome. We were also offered a free glass of wine and wonderful nibbles. Location was also wonderful. Fantastic stay!

The Club at OKKO very generously provided ongoing snacks and aperitifs in the evening - very appreciated. On our second and final night, the power in the hotel went out. Unfortunately we were informed 7 hrs later that every guest would need to leave and be re-located at no charge to another hotel. The staff handled it all very well even though it was quite a disruption.

- Nicholas (10/5): Very pleasant stay for solo traveller - Five night solo stay. Very good property for a solo traveller. I had one of the premium rooms, a corner room with two large windows. Room is small but laid out efficiently. Windows are well soundproofed. Shower is roomy. Location in front of tram stop gets you everywhere, including Kehl for connecting to DB Rail. The room is probably too small for two people, however, especially with the glass wall. The two story ceiling in the club made it feel massive. The club food was ok, but it was nice to have the option. Laundry service isn't advertised in the room but available on request, same weekday in by 0930 back by 2000.

- PrecisionBass (10/5): - Right across from tram ride into the main town, the hotel is almost brand-new, clean, EXCELLENT VALUE; the only downside is its location, which is on the far side of town but luckily the tram into town and the rail station is just across the street. I will come here again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): In a new development 25 minutes to center on foot - All in all a very good hotel with comfortable rooms, easy access to the center of Strasbourg by foot (20-25 minutes) and a great concept of the club with some snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. During the hours of 6.30-9.30 they offer a free glass of wine or beer but what could be misleading in the description of the club when booking this is that it seems to be all you can drink happy hour. It’s actually just one glass. Breakfast in the morning was great but when it gets really busy it can be difficult to get juice glasses or a mug for coffee.

Local amenities ok with a mall two minutes walk away. This is very much a place to stay for a couple of nights as the room we had was very small, with very limited space for storage. The room booking was through expedia as a result I have no receipt for my stay. This is a problem with expedia, however this was a business visit and I cannot make a reclaim without a receipt.

Excellent location with tram right outside hotel making access to all areas very easy. Loved the evening nibbles and complimentary drink. Highly recommend this hotel.

Every night they have a cocktail spread where you get a welcome glass of wine or beer and finger food. Lovely! Altogether a really good experience. Staff friendly and knowledgable.
