Guest Reviews
- aphonso (10/5): - We enjoyed the trip
- Warren (8/5): - Excellent location.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Beautiful view overlooking the Turner Falls Hillside. Very clean, although some of the furniture had crumbs underneath the cushions from previous visitors. Clear expectations and rules posted by the owner. TV, Fridge, stove, and A/C-Heater System work well. Outdoor patio and grill area was fantastic!
Ron is currently remodeling some of the cabins to be even better than currently! So come back and check them out when they are done!
- James (6/5): - Loved the hippie fib and the location. The steps going up had a stretch that appeared to have oil and caused us to slip on it several times. The last time I slipped i fell on my ass and wow, I thought if I was not in good shape or an older person would have feel, they easily would have broke their hip. There are also bed bugs in the bed. I was bit several times. The kitchen faucet also needs some work - the handle comes off.
- Latif (2/5): - The cabin was dirty and light was not working
- Anthony (6/5): - It was ok the cabin nothing wrong with it but the walk to get their is tiring it was like 80 steps to get their and it was frustrating going up and down specially when coming back from the water your already tired plus that walk
- Chantel (10/5): - Amazing stay this weekend at Turner falls! All the staff was so helpful including the property owner. He was very prompt and communicative. I will be returning!
- Chad (10/5): - We had a great time.
- Gail (8/5): - We had a nice still but cabin had bugs and outside wasn’t very big. Shower too small.
- Tina (8/5): - We stayed in cabin 5
It was a very nice and cozy cabin. Peaceful and very quiet. Nice view. The hike up the wooden stairs and then the concrete steps was a workout. Definitely have to be able to climb several steps.
I would stay here again, but a lower cabin on ground level for sure. We decided since I was off work we would have a little get away. Bring your own washcloths, handtowels and towels.
- Christopher S. (8/5): Beautiful Views - The views of the water falls and caves at Turner Falls were nice. The cabin can use some updating. Poorly insulated walls. Could feel the wind blowing threw the outlets in the bedroom. They did provide space heaters in each of the rooms, but the heaters struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature.
Communication with the owners was excellent. Very attentive. Responded quickly to questions we had.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a nice place. The view is breathtaking.
Had plenty of parking for my truck and trailer.
Everyone is nice and helpful.
Two things I did not like that I am sure can be changed without any problem.
The Expedia APP said the cabin was in Davis Ok? The actual location was in Turner Falls!
Had a hard time finding the place!
The water in my opinion is not drinkable!
It has a very bad after taste. All the drinks made with the water and drinks made with the ice from the water tasted bad. I wish bottled water was provided or at least we should have been told about it.
Every thing else was great! And I definitely will recommend it to others. But I will tell them to bring their own water.
- Sanjay (4/5): - Not clean at all we have to clean by our self.
Nasty floor and pillows
- Daniel (2/5): Lack of understanding says mouthful about owner - The property lost power due to a thunderstorm that passed through. Now I understand it's not the owner's fault for mother nature. It's not my fault either, we waited 4 hours for the power to return to no avail. With darkness, heat, fly's, and mosquitoes upon us and no information when the power was returning we decided to leave. I feel it was appropriate to refund some of the money for the stay (half/half) is fair in an unfortunate situation. However, the owner thought otherwise and rejected the refund petition. I was a disappointing outing to say the least. They lost me as a returning customer and maybe just maybe someone will read this and think otherwise as well, due to the properties lack of understanding.
- Amanda (8/5): - We were able to check in a couple minutes early. The cabin was clean, communication was great. Plenty of room and the location was perfect with a beautiful view.
- Jessica&John (8/5): - All around it was worth the money. The kids enjoyed the loft. The location was convenient to the falls and access to the water. Downside would be people sitting on your steps in front of your door. We would stay again.
- Julie (8/5): - We were really happy with our short stay at the cabin in Turner Falls State Park. I wish we could have had the time to stay more than one night. I would like to come back again sometime.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall we had a great stay. The AC was working well, the place was clean and tidy, and the view was breathtaking overlooking the creek and the surrounding mountains. We even had coffee, filters, and sugar we could use there.
I will definitely stay again.
Only negative things were the cable TV was out of action as the HDMI cable was broken (not their fault as they were not aware) and the control for the main stove was missing/unusable. But it didn’t affect our stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice views, cabin well built and furnished. Lots of traffic in busy times, but off peak very nice.
- Devon (10/5): - The location was great and the place was clean
The owner was very kind and happy to answer any questions we had
- vince (2/5): - it was like a tiny house/shack pictures were not true
there is no way anybody could fit on/in the twin beds
- Kim (2/5): - The worst experience we ever had.
