• serge (5/5): - Le côté désuet de l établissement et la gentillesse de l hote. Il n y a certainement pas eu un penie investit depuis l ouverture qui doit remonter a 50 ans
• Noreen (1/5): - We booked this guest house when we arrived we called the owner said to go to room 2 key in door this room was not fit to stay in ..contacted owner said we would not stay in this room..then he refused to answer our calls or give us an alternative room..so we were left stranded at 5pm in evening had to travell 2hours back home..I will include photos for you to see..two hangers on the wall was the wardrobe advertised.

• margaret (9/5): Fantastic views of sea in a well kept victorian with full breakfast. - our room had the classic high celings with original ornamentation at the top of wall and a beautiful view with ornate finish on a bay window looking out to the sea! a bathroom was installed which necessarily broke the spellds were comfy and a lovely breakfast in the dining room which faces the sea. If you are a romantic and want unobstructed sea views, stay here! There is a long well maintained trail on the cliffs near by to watch the surfers! There were lots of stairs to second floor. host carried my bag.. We were confused on directions for free parking, but that was resolved quickly. Would love to stay here when it is sunny out!

• Monika (7/5): Schöne Lage, Hotel ein bisschen abgewohnt - Direkter Blick auf den Strand und die Surfer. Nettes Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Parken war kompliziert; der Manager zunächst schwer zu erreichen. Das heiße Wasser dauerte sehr lange; im Bad war schwarzer Schimmel ( nichts für Asthmatiker), der Raum für drei mit Gepäck schon klein.

• Austin (9/5): - The ease and straightforwardness of getting checked in and into the room. Great simple choice of breakfast every morning. Good service. Tasty, proper breakfast. Well fed great home cooking. And came down slightly late and was more than happy to cook me a fry.. without hardly asking. Very polite, down to earth, and accommodating chef. Rooms had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. No issues at all. Left 2 pairs of sunglasses in the room and was more than happy to take good care of them and post them to me without hesitation. Responses were timely and polite. I am very appreciative of the extra effort he went to..as the sunglasses were a gift. We're regular visitors to Donegal because of family. And would/will be staying here again.

• Valentina (5/5): 1 Nacht Rolling Wave Guesthouse - Wir konnten die Unterkunft noch sehr spontan am selbigen Abend der Übernachtung buchen, wofür wir äußerst dankbar sind. Es war ein Frühstück dabei, im Zimmer hatte man grundsätzlich alles was man braucht und die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer. Die Unterkunft und auch speziell das Zimmer ist schon ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen. Es war zwar grundsätzlich alles geputzt und einigermaßen sauber, allerdings war auch schon speziell im Bad ein Grunddreck, der nach den Jahren auch nicht mehr verschwindet. Auch der Stuhl im Zimmer war auf der Sitzfläche einfach nur richtig staubig und dreckig, wodurch wir nicht einmal unsere Sachen dort ablegen wollten. Die Spülung auf der Toilette funktionierte nicht jedesmal. Zusätzlich musste man sich beim Wasserhahn etwas spielen, bis man herausfindet, dass man ihn auch richtig aufdrehen kann, sodass auch Wasser rauskommt. Unter meinem Kopfpolster waren noch fremde Haare zu finden. Man mochte auch nicht unbedingt barfuß herumgehen, weil sich das Zimmer einfach nicht sauber anfühlte. Beim Frühstück kann man etwas bestellen und man hat eine gute Auswahl. Nach meinem Geschmack gehört Bacon aber einfach dünner und besser durchgebraten.
• Janey (4/5): Disappointed. - Central to town Breakfast was ok The room was very dated and drab not inviting at all. Needs painted Beds were uncomfortable and very squeaky Carpet had stains on it. It didn't feel clean tbh. Old house and dated . The one night was enough for me.
• Titus (2/5): Einmal und nie wieder. - Die Lage in der Mitte der Stadt und am Meer. Uralte, ungespflegte Möbel. Schimmelflecken auf der Bettwäsche. Bad war nicht sauber. Die Sauberkeit ließ allgemein zu wünschen übrig. Sehr spärliches Frühstück, viele Lebensmittel am Buffet, wie Marmelade, Joghurt, O-Saft wurden nicht aufgefüllt. Die Zutaten im Full Irish Breakfast waren von schlechter Qualität und haben nicht geschmeckt.

We was ok the first night as we already had them in the morning but Tuesday we had walked and there was a sandstorm and we could have done with the shower. One of the main basics of having somewhere to stay is having a suitable place to wash so this was really disappointing. Tv aerial was temperamental and we could only get one channel. Bed cover had a food stain on it when we arrived.

Bedroom very small, brochure size indicated includes the bathroom which 6 feet by 2 feet, so take 12 square feet off the actual bedroom size. Only clothes hanging space is a rod behind door and 3 hooks on the wall. No space to put any luggage. 120euro a night too expensive.

Größere/korpulentere Menschen könnten es ev. nicht vernünftig nutzen. - Kein Warm/Heißwasser. Auch nach Nachricht mit dem Gastgeber und längerem Warten, ist es nicht wirklich warm geworden. - Hatte das Zimmer vor Ort bezahlt, bekam aber zwei Wochen später eine Anfrage des Gastgebers über booking.com, dass ich nicht bezahlt hätte. Da ich dachte es könnte sich vl. um eine falsche Nachricht/phishing handeln, habe ich beim Gastgeber nachgefragt, ob alles OK ist, aber keine Antwort erhalten.
