Men var mærkeligt at hotellet ligger helt ned til stranden, men der er ingen direkte adgang. Man skal gå igennem restauranten og receptionen hvis man vil til/fra stranden.

Some improvements could be made, including better WiFi (extremely slow as it is), and it’s also not intuitive how to get in and out of hotel on foot other than going through the restaurant to get to the beach. It had stunning sea views, a gorgeous room (although we were not really keen on the open bathroom layout!), and flawless service throughout our stay. Everybody at the reception was excellent. The hotel has a stylish, boutique feel. It has a lovely spa. It is perfectly located near great restaurants—everything was just right."

Les plus : -hôtel bien situé -piscine intérieure -jardin donnant sur la mer -parking Les moins : -chambre petite et exiguë, douche peu pratique sans vitre ou rideau avec jet d’eau faible -mini bar miniature, non fonctionnel (ne refroidit pas) et bruyant -petit déjeuner indigne d’un 4* : aliments industriels pour la plupart, viennoiseries sèches, saumon immangeable (probablement des chutes de tranches de saumon ultra bas de gamme), fromages insipides, œufs brouillés identiques à ceux du B&B, peu de réassort -piscine extérieure non chauffée, avec parasols vétustes inadaptés pour une région venteuse, voire dangereux. Aucune surveillance ni aide. Dommage car beau potentiel. Conclusion : rapport qualité prix pas intéressant, nous sommes restés 7 nuits, à ce prix nous aurions pu attendre un geste commercial de l’hôtel. Le service, les chambres et le petit déjeuner ne sont pas à la hauteur d’un 4*.

Hauptrestaurant nebenan mit Terrasse über dem Meer, sehr gutes Essen , vernünftige Preise. Einziger Nachteil des Hotels: Zugang zum Strand nur über die Lobby und durch das Gartenrestaurant. Auch Pool kein Zugang zum Meer. Mit nassen Badesachen und Sand an den Schuhen nicht sehr angenehm! Sonst Perfektes Hotel!

- pierre (2/5): - We have not tried a 4*hotel with Expedia and other for years, this one was picked by my kids and the beach was nearby. We booked a suit which was tiny and a junior suit. Next day. When we book a larger suite, the staff told us it would be ready by 1pm, and the. By 2pm, still 3pm was not ready, so I was running between different places in hotel in order to make some calls. Very poor organisation. I understand we cannot expect the level of service from other places that we have been in this region such as Riche Blanche or Petit Nice, but this level of service is really not even a 4*. Hotel. A plus point, it is the staff, is kind of embarrassed by the situation, and tried to help the best they could. I just assume that we booked the wrong hotel for us. Lesson learnt.

- Frédéric (4/5): Vraiment Bof pour un 4 étoiles - Pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, vraiment pas terrible. Nous habitons dans la var pas loin et c’était un séjour d’une nuit un peu imprévu. Surtout ne pas prendre les chambres classiques qui n’ont strictement aucun intérêt, vraiment petites, lit en 140, vu parking voiture . Interrupteur salle de bain cassé, chasse d’eau wc cassée, lumière du couloir qui passe à travers la porte .. Le repas au restaurant « gastronomique » vraiment pas top non plus, le dessert au citron manquait énormément de finesse, nous n’avons pas terminé, d’une lourdeur . Parking payant 9€ . En revanche, Le personnel est plutôt agréable Bref nous ne reviendrons pas et ne le conseillerons pas non plus .

J’ai communiqué ceci à la réception mais ils semblaient pas me croire. J’en ai même parlé avec le gardien de nuit qui était témoin. J’espère que cela s’est réglé entre-temps, car j’espère revenir dans le futur, c’est un beau cadre!

- Philip (8/5): Musique de fond 24/7 rend impossible le sommeil - Le hôtel est parfait. Magnifique cadre, belles aménités et chambre comfortable. Le bémol est vraiment la musique de fond, une musique de piano qui est joué 24/7 dans tout l’hôtel, couloirs compris. Une des enceintes était juste à l’extérieur de ma chambre, rendant difficile mon sommeil et malgré la demande à la réception d’éteindre cette musique pendant la nuit, ils m’ont simplement répondu que cela était hors de leur contrôle. J’ai passé deux nuits avec un sommeil très médiocre. Je reviendrais, à condition que cette musique s’éteint à minuit jusqu’à 7h du matin au moins.

- Mylene (8/5): Un hôtel 4* pas terrible - J’avoue être très déçu de l’état de la chambre. Des taches absolument partout sur la moquette (quelques photos prise pour preuves) On a sois-disant eu un sur classement (du rez-de chaussée au deuxième étages ) mais vraiment ne correspondait pas à ce que j’avais payé à la base. J’avais pris un très grand lit et une chambre spacieuse de m2 quelle déception, un lit en 160 et une chambre de 22m2. Faites attention a leur soit-disant surclassement. Par contre rien a dire pour le restaurant la Galedie était un délice. Le menu a 45€ est délicieux, ambiance du restaurant est calme et apaisante.

The room was the biggest we had in traveling a month in Europe - large and with a bathtub, toiletries including hair conditioner, robes, and in room coffee and beverages. Our balcony view of the ocean was unforgettable. The room was perfectly clean and the bed and linens were comfortable. The music playing in the bar and reception was a bit corny but otherwise a perfect stay. The hotel restaurant La Galerie had excellent food.

- Andrea (10/5): Perfetto per una vacanza di relax. - Palazzo del 1800 splendidamente ristrutturato. La suite era strepitosa, ambiente molto spazioso, confortevole, ottima climatizzazione. Arredamento di gusto. Vista sul mare dai balconi (uno dei quali dotato di idromassaggio). Lo spazio per la colazione è stupendo, avvolto in un giardino incredibile, sembra di essere in una foresta. Il rumore del mare in sottofondo è molto rilassante. Ben equipaggiata anche la palestra.

Leider war das restliche Personal bis auf zwei Ausnahmen eher uninteressiert und gleichgültig was die Anliegen des Gastes anlangt. Nach einer 10 Stunden andauernden Reise gab es kein Welcome Drink. Beim Frühstück musste man sich selbst die stoische zurecht richten etc. Dafür haben das Room Service Team sowie die Einrichtung des Hotels Vieles an guter Stimmung gerettet...

Nothing more relaxing than hearing the sounds of the waves from one's bed. The breakfast offers a wide selection of various food from vegan to carnivore. We loved the long walk on the beach, and we have been one other time in the aera, South of Sanary-sur-mer where one can find beautiful coastal paths. The only disappointment is the spa. The masseuse was totally inexperienced. Don't waste your money on massages.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Collection ist immer etwas teurer - Die Zimmer mit Meersicht sind zwar teuer, aber es lohnt sich. Das Feriengefühl ist perfekt. Das Frühstück ist zwar grosszügig aber ziemlich teuer. Es hat direkt daneben verschiedene Restaurants, die ebenso Frühstück servieren. Vielleicht schauen Sie zuerst mal, was Ihnen am besten passt. Der Sandstrand ist feinkörnig und sehr schön. Leider gibt es weder Dusche noch Umziehkabinen. Dafür bezahlt man für 2 sehr eng gestellte Liegen inkl. Sonnenschirm happige 18 Euro/h. Die Gäste kommen aus ganz Europa, von der Bretagne bis hinter dem Ural.

- Ghita (10/5): - I went to the Grand Hotel des Sablettes for a 3 Day me time to disconnect. Everything went great, the staff has been amazing, especially Sydney who went above and beyond to provide the best service. I didn’t try the massages, but the pool and the sauna are very clean and I was lucky enough to be the only one there both times I used it. You’re literally « pieds dans l’eau », the beach in front of the hotel is quiet and super clean. You have a ferry transfer to Porquerolles at just 5min walk from the hotel. I will definitely come back.

Les demandes au service conciergerie ne sont mêmes pas honorées et aucune info de la part de l’hôtel Par contre les services demandés sont facturés sur la chambre. - Sannier (4/5): Les étoiles ne font pas tout ! - Très décevant, se dit un 4 étoiles, seulement parce qu’il y une suite, sinon je pensais avoir une chambre vue sur mer et j’ai eu un rdc vue sur parking en chambre handicapé, c’est à dire douche lavabo et wc dans la même pièce, un sèche cheveux pendant dans un sac, une douche qui arrosait tout et très glissante, comment des personnes handicapés pourrait venir car il n’y avait aucune étagère ou petite console pour poser son vanity-case et même ses brosses à dents, pour la chambre entre le fauteuil et le bout du lit 30 cm ( difficile d’accéder au rideaux pour fermer la nuit) Pour faire la chambre et remplir le mini bar, il faut en faire la demande ; l’une avec une pancarte à la porte et l’autre à la réception. On ne vous donne aucun renseignement, il faut aller à la pêche aux renseignements. Il y a un spa avec une piscine intérieure, avec du sable au fond… Bref, vous l’aurez compris mis à part le lit qui était bon et la climatisation, j’aurais du retourner à l’hôtel Mercure à la Seyne sur mer qui est un 3 étoiles, avec un standing sous tous les points d’un 4 étoiles

- GABRIELLE (6/5): déception et mécontentement !!!!!!! - si l ensemble des bâtiments sont attrayants si la cuisine est bonnes si dans l ensemble le personnel est très sympathique il n en reste pas moins que la piscine extérieure est petite que le petit déjeuner n est pas terrible formule vieillissante : fruits secs céréales inaccessibles puisqu en hauteur. quand a la plage prive :faux! c est une plage public mais nous payons la location des fauteuils surveilles par une mégère qui vous harcèle toute une après midi et INTERDICTION de déplacer les tables entre les fauteuils sinon elle vient vous en faire la remarque d une façon agressive voir impoli la publicité sur le descriptif pour la plage prive est un mensonge puisque la plage est public de plus a 6 heures il faut partir pour qu ils puissent ranger très déçu de cette hôtel ou je suis rester 9 jours avec ma petite fille il y a aussi la clim défectueuse le peignoir ,les chaussons qu il faut réclamer l erreur de 280 euros en trop sur votre facture l excuse du soit disant directeur qui vraisemblablement n en n a rien a faire malgré son sourire commercial un 4 étoiles qui n en est pas un !!!!!! je n y retournerai pas a déconseiller......

Small pool area which was always busy but there is a beach club close by with restaurant so we went there instead. Hotel is in a fantastic location with lots of parking so no stress finding it. - Tobias (10/5): Côte d’Azur at its best - A lovely place. You can hang out by the pool or go to the public beach. Sure, the pool is not too big and the beach is crowded, but less so than elsewhere along the coast. And it’s a really nice sandy beach. If one wanted to be critical then I’d say the breakfast could be a bit better (an egg station, a barista on duty), but that’s a detail. And a private beach would be great too, but that’s asking for too much. Overall a great experience, we can imagine coming back before long.
- Raimondo (6/5): Service can get a big improvement - This is a very beautiful hotel. The lobby and the restaurant are really really nice. But....the rooms are very small. We booked a 30sqm room partial sea view and we’ve got ‘upgraded’ to a 25 sqm with a full sea view. The room was tiny! So much furniture, we did not have space to open our luggage. After complaining that gave us a room with partial sea view that we booked in the first place. The cleaning of the room is not so good. But when we raised this issue to the person responsable with the housekeepers, Melanie, she was really nice and did her best for the room to be clean. The restaurant is beautiful, the food so so. The breakfast was awful, but it was probably because of Covid-19. Everything was cold, only green apples as fruits. A 2 out of 5 for the breakfast.
