- Steven (10/5): - The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you’re expecting a huge hotel with lobby and exercise facilities this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is small 6 to 10 rooms. The staff is excellent. I suggest you book a room with the balcony. The area is perfect for first timers. Walking distance to museums and Acropolis. The area is safe with many choices for shopping and dining. The experience in Plaka for me and my wife was exceptionable. We enjoyed it and we will be doing it again.

- Dean (4/5): - This hotel is located on one of the very busiest and loudest streets in Plaka. There is no elevator. There is an outdoor cinema aross the street. Its nice to watch a free movie from the balcony - but the loud sondtrack is very annoying and doesnt stop until 11 PM. This would be a great budget hotel, but it charges 4 star prices. Not cool.

Centrally located to EVERYTHING and easily walkable!!! Best restaurant in Athens right outside the door… Trattoria. I would definitely stay again!!!

Location is very good, but we were surprised that you could not drive up to the hotel, so lugging bags was not easy and getting a location for a pick up to the airport was stressful until the gentleman at the hotel did a wonderful job figuring it out for us. The neighborhood is lively ( also loud) so it can be noisy at night.
- Paula (6/5): - Upon booking our stay, I had requested with Palladian Home that they would arrange for our transportation by taxi back to the Athens Int'l airport the morning of our departure at 6 am for a 9:20 am flight. Had I not asked the front desk clerk the afternoon before our checkout date to reconfirm our transportation, I would've never known about a taxi strike that was due to start the next morning at 6 am! The strike had been announced in the evening 2 days before which was the day we checked in. Had I not taken the initiative to reconfirm, it would've been a disaster! They were able to work it out and scrambled to book a taxi for us at 5 am the next morning before the official start of the strike at 6 am. I was thankful for that, however, I was completely appauled that no one with the hotel had bothered to alert us to the impending strike and it's impact to our airport return schedule ahead of time! That is unacceptable, and it would've led to us having to take the subway (entrance was many blocks away) and almost certainly would've caused us to miss our flight. It indicates that the staff at this hotel has no regard for and really doesn't care about their guests! I would've considered staying there again if I'm ever visiting Athens, because of it's excellent location, but not after that fiasco! Hotel desk staff gets a WORSE THAN POOR rating from me for this!

Foam pillows were too big and the sheets were rough - almost abrasive. Theses are easy things to fix and require for the price paid.

Probably made the difference in how we would rate/explain our Athens visit! To be in the middle of the Plaka neighborhood was a amazing!

- Kosha (2/5): - We wanted to love this property but unfortunately it missed the mark due to the number of loud guests who staff did not quiet during late hours of the night. Do not choose the room with an adjoining room (2 bedrooms with city view), you will hear every thing because the room is next to the main entrance and as aforementioned, the incompetent staff does nothing to quiet the rowdy guests who enter the property during sleeping hours. I actually had to come out one night asking the other guests to keep it down while the front desk guy just sat there and said nothing. Ridiculous. Book elsewhere, you will thank me.

However, even though they said they have Free Wifi, it was 100% unusable. They claimed it was "old lines" and couldnt be fixed. less than 1MB download and 0 upload speeds which made it impossible for me to work without using my phones hotspot.

A little smaller facility than I expected, but this lent to a home-like atmosphere. Rooms clean and spacious. Our balcony looked up the street right onto the Acropolis. I would caution people with mobility issues as the hotel did not seem to have elevators, and if you are taking a taxi, the taxis are not able to park directly in front of the hotel due to pedestrian streets

- Janet (2/5): - The room was like a basic 2 star hotel, not even close to what it was advertised as. There was even mold in the bathroom shower! In addition, one of the employees of the hotel looked through my suitcase and decided to steal a Ralph Lauren navy blue t-shirt. The t-shirt was in my suitcase when we arrived at the hotel but a day later when I wanted to wear it, it was gone. I brought this to management’s attention and he did nothing about it. Also, he has not replied to my emails inquiring about it. I want to be reimbursed for the cost of the t-shirt which was brand new and had never been worn. I noted while reading the reviews of this hotel that another customer had money stolen out of their safe when they inadvertently forget to lock it. They apparently employ thieves. I would stay somewhere else.

My baggage was lost from the airlines and they made sure to hold it for us(once.dropped off) when we were out explorong Athens that day. Came back and it was waiting for me without question. When we left they arranged a car for pick up and walked our luggage over. The location is great, many restaurants and amenities/shopping. Easy walk to acropolis and museums. Bring good walking shoes. We were notifed the day before we arrived that our scheduled ride to the airport was canceled due to a 48 hr taxi strike but when i called the hotel Nicolis was able to get us a ride. When we checked in and during the stay Costas was extremely helpful getting us a tour of the acropolis and making our stay very enjoyable. We would definetly go back.
- Ashley (10/5): - This hotel is located right in the center of the Plaka neighborhood, where you can walk to all major attractions. The view of the acropolis is incredible from the balcony (highly recommend requesting this room). The area is bustling with people and there is an old movie theater on the roof nearby. The room has sound proof exterior doors so you cannot hear all of this activity once you close them. We would stay here again!
- tina (6/5): - Great area, but they built a outdoor movie theater right across from hotel, films played loud from 9pm to 1am no sleep whatsoever even with ear plugs, we had balcony suite facing Acropolis nice view but theater ruined this, great staff walkable to everything, but if you want to sleep book room on other side of building, other guests said they didn’t hear theater from that side

- John (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel near Acropolis - Beautiful hotel next to a bustling square of restaurants and cafes. The room was very nice with a balcony overlooking the square. The front desk provided google map lists of recommended restaurants, cafes, and bars which was a huge help.
- Lauren (8/5): - Very comfortable and exactly the simplicity I needed. Super happy with my stay. The only downside was noise, it can be quite loud at night with people coming in and out. My room (a standard with queen bed) was on the same level as the check in desk, so anytime any guests came in or out it woke me up, but it wasnt horrible since there are only a few rooms. Would def stay again since this was in the heart of plaka. It was so convenient to walk to the meet up locations of my activities. Bed was comfy!

- Daniel (10/5): - Another fabulous stay in Greece! If you’re visiting the Plaka area of Athens, be sure to check out this hotel — it’s right in the heart of everything. We were able to walk everywhere, visiting all the major sights without ever needing a taxi. We loved strolling through the shops, enjoying the tavernas, and experiencing the lively nightlife. While we stayed in Plaka, we often found ourselves in Monastiraki as well, exploring its many shops and restaurants. There’s so much to see and do — plan a few days to truly take it all in. We can’t wait to return! Our room was amazing and had open rollout windows overlooking Plaka streets and Parthenon views were fantastic . Coffee you say?? You have a fully equipped kitchen with espresso maker and tea if that’s your thing.. I really felt like I was staying with family .. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

- Rita (10/5): - The location was amazing -- an amazing eating square was literally outside our door, and their were hundreds of cafes and little shops all around. Hadrian's gate is at the end of the street and old town is right there, too. The staff were also very kind (we came in super early and they stored our suitcases so we could do a tour before our room was ready), they arranged a car back to the airport for us, and had special Easter candles in our room. They were incredibly helpful and kind!!

- Ruth (10/5): - Just stayed here for 5 nights. Our room was on the third floor - so if stairs aren't your thing - that would be something to ask about ahead of time! Staff was great, room was nice, it was nice having coffee/tea available in the kitchen. The guys working carried our bags for us (bless them!). Really easy location for Acropolis/Plaka/Acropolis museum. Lots of dining choices nearby. All in all a great stay. And our shower was very nice (hot water, great pressure!)

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for recommendations and a reservation for a taxi ride. The area is very walkable with most attractions being 5-10 minutes away and food options right outside the door. 10/10 definitely recommend staying here.
- Kevin (10/5): - Great location! Everything is walkable from here. The hotel is great. Everyone was friendly. There is a hallway echo when people open and close the door, so that might wake someone up. Otherwise, it was a great stay. We would come back here.

- Carol (10/5): - The Palladin Home was such a pleasant surprise! Located a short walk from the Acropolis and in a beautiful neighborhood. The staff was wonderful and so very helpful. More restaurants and shops than anyone could ask for. Will definitely stay there again when we visit Athens! I highly recommend!!!
