• Grace (8/5): Good place to stay in Portland - The location is very good, the staff very kind, the room clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast is very good. The parking is $50 per night or $0 in the street some hours. The neighborhood seems secure.

• Jo (10/5): The best location for navigating the town and having so many options for shopping, dining, walking.. - We have stayed here before and have been very pleased each time. The location is perfect for getting around to all areas of the city. Walking is usually our mode once we arrive at the hotel. However, the streetcar is always an option and very close to the hotel if you prefer to ride. Plan to visit again.

It was so close to Powell's and about a 10-minute walk to VooDoo Donuts, with lots to see in between (Chinatown). The hotel staff was amazing! They were very nice and attentive. The roof top terrace was a plus. So relaxing! I'm nitpicking, but I didn't like the omelette. But all the other breakfast options were yummy. They even had almond milk and soy for alternative milk choices.

We asked for a crib, which was not setup while checked in well after checkin time. Someone came over frustrated with "You asked for a crib, here is it." It was a pack and play in two pieces. Looked dirty. So we decided to not use it. That seemed to make her even more angry : (. 2. We also asked them to empty the trash since we have soiled diapers (they do housekeeping every other day). They did not do it. So we slept with some interesting odor.

Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was decent. Being able to help yourself to tea or coffee 24 hours in the lobby was a bonus! Street parking was easily available and price efficient too, if you were going to be away during daytime. Valet parking is also available. Staff was welcoming and efficient. I wish they would start winding up operations for the breakfast at closing time and not 10 minutes earlier :-D. (Of course, they closed the doors only at the at the correct time)

Everyone was pleasant and helpful in any situation that arose. It was clean and I felt safe and relaxed. There isn’t much to say about it negatively. The pool is ability out dated but my son loved it and enjoyed every second. (Minor inconvenience)

I know its Portland, but not wanting to go outside because of it makes us not want to go back. And paying extra for parking to make sure your vehicle is somewhat safe was unexpected.

I get that most places downtown charge for parking but they really should include that cost in your nightly rate. Feels like a way to hide the cost.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and I was able to communicate with them via text. The valet service was also very fast and efficient. I wish there were microwaves in the room, but there is one guests can use by the check in desk. The pool area is also very busy on breaks.
