Water was provided in a pitcher at the eating area but we saw several people filling up water bottles just while we were eating breakfast. It would be nice for that to be available at all times for guests.

McDonald's down the road would be a better option. The only other complaint was the blackout curtains. They would not stay closed flooding my room with the bright parking lot lights.
• Meghan (8/5): Overall, a good stay. Just don’t plan to swim unless you like it freezing cold. - Location was great and staff was very nice. Plan ahead for your shower. It took about 20 mins of water running to get the water hot enough to shower in. I also contacted someone about the pool not being warm. I was told (in text) that maintenance would come by to check the pool temperature. When we left, due to the water being so cold, I overheard some higher up staff saying that the pool is warm (clearly incorrect) but no one ever came to check while we were in the pool area. Yes, the pool ROOM was warm but the water was freezing. I almost wanted to tell that staff to go get in herself but I just continued to my room.

When upon arrival to our room we discovered I needed a different room due to a temporary disability. Staff immediately found me a room that worked and switched us to that room. Both Rooms Smelled Like Dogs. Particularly the bathrooms like maybe people lock their Dogs in there. Clogged both our noses, affected our eyes. Wife had to take Sinus Medication which is not normal for her. Heard Large Large Barking Dogs and Small Yipping Dogs. Children in room above us running bam bam bam back and forth above us seemed like continously.

• dale (9/5): Never use booking.com ever again - So that you know I booked a room for 4 November standing in the lobby. It popped up as the 11th. There was no phone number that I could call. I could not cancel the room so I had to pay the hotel for the fourth and stay the night. I tried and tried to cancel the room through booking.com. It would not work they charged me $150 for the night no way could I get out of it? It looks like I’m gonna have to pay so I will delete the app off my phone and never use booking.com again ever ever ever ever ever. I do have a text from the Hilton hotel that I stayed at and they canceled my reservation for the 11th and said they would not charge me however booking.com still still still would not release the $150. How do you think I feel please tell me how do you think I feel Paying for two nights and only staying one

Room was not the suit I asked for, The people up stairs in the room above me was having a wrestling match. For two hours they was banging on the floor. This happend last April when I stayed there. I did say something to front desk. Nothing happened.

Juice and yogurt were warm. Selection of bread and bakery items was limited but I didn’t expect more because of the time. Would prefer Juice and yogurt had been cold.

• Member1966 (8/5): Beware of staying on top floor - We stayed on the top floor, and all night long there was a very loud humming noise, which made it hard to get to sleep. The only thing we could think of that could have caused the noise was the air conditioning unit on the roof of the building, apparently right above our room (#403). We mentioned it to the front desk staff the next day and we were moved to a room on the second floor, which was quiet as expected. Hopefully they'll get that air conditioning unit fixed to quiet it down.

Climate control worked flawlessly. The breakfast was good but not fantastic. Front desk personnel were friendly, efficient, and attentive.

But really, it is hard for a breakfast to be really good when you have to keep it available for several hours. The location was very good. The only thing that could have been better was that it had a tub/shower. It wasn't very easy for us elderly people to get in and the tub was pretty slick. I think the accessible rooms should have walk in showers or at least a "rough" tub bottom.

They helped us with everything from our luggage to breakfast. The room was huge and clean the beds incredibly comfortable. Very clean. Food delicious. Thank you so much. Worth the money.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Taking advantage of storm victims - The hotel was full of tornado victims and no working hot water. I called the front desk and was told they “hoped” to have it fixed the next day. We had to check out by 11. I asked for a discount and was refused. I realize that things break but I should not have had to pay the full $170 when the main thing I needed was a hot shower and warm bed and they couldn’t provide half of that.

No water pressure and no hot water. The front desk said they were filling the pool. I think someone could have found a more appropriate time to do that.

They knew we were coming to cheer on our home team for the Superbowl and offered tips on parking in New Orleans, events happening leading to to the game, and local evets including an Art walk here in BSL. They even had personalized home decorations in our teams colors. The home is spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property because of the home and the hosts. 50 out of 10 stars!

• Me11ssav (10/5): Great Pet Friendly Hotel - This hotel was such a great stop on my cross-country drive. The pet fees aren't outrageous like at other hotels, and they had a bowl of dog treats waiting at the front desk for when we checked in. The fitness center was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious, and there were several mini waffle makers with two flavors. There was always coffee and water available in the lobby.
• Unsworth7 (6/5): First time Hilton experience wasn't so hot. - They didn't have the hotel that we usually stay at in West Plains so we decided to stay here. It wasn't the greatest experience. the person at check-in was friendly but was not too with it. To access the Internet we were supposed to use our Last name and room number for a password. That would only work if we filled out a form signing up with Hilton Hotels to become a member. Weird. So I went back to the desk and told her I wasn't a member but we just wanted Wi-Fi in the room. I found out she had our name wrong in the system. She ended up giving me a promo code. The room was fine except the light over the bathroom sink didn't work. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. Breakfast wasn't so great. They had a folded egg product with cheese in it that didn't work for my wife who doesn't eat dairy. They did have sausage, yogurt, potatoes. I am gluten free and it worked well enough. We stayed two nights as we were visiting relatives. When we came back to the hotel for the second night in the cold and dark we parked in the back and our room keys would not work to get in. We walked around to the front of the hotel and I explained we were trying to get in and she acted like we were overreacting. For the cost, the hotel was not what I expected it to be. The whole experience was rough around the edges.

Flying bugs in some rooms this time though, entering through vents. My room was fine, 2nd floor facing the back. I think it gets worse on higher floors.

• Matthew (10/5): - This hotel was ideal for my 5 day stay in West Plains, MO. I was there on business which required getting up early every day and I had absolutely no problems sleeping! Hotel was very quiet in the evening and beds were very comfortable. The hotel is situated up on a hill by itself, so it feels comfortably secluded, but it is within an easy 5-10 minute drive of WalMart and several eating establishments. All the hotel staff was very kind, helpful and professional. I'd definitely recommend the hotel. The only note of caution is when I went out to my rental car one morning, there was very obvious palm and finger prints where someone had peered into the rear window to see if there was anything worth breaking in over. I empty my vehicles at night, so it wasn't an issue, but just something to be aware of. Don't think it's any fault of the hotel, which is in a good part of town and well lit. Hotel parking lots are just frequent targets for vehicle theft.
