- Marie (2/5): - Stayed in the Reid room. This room is very small for 2 people and luggage. We had to take out what we needed and put our luggage back in the car. For the over $170 you pay, this is not worth it. There were no plugs for phones, watches, hearing aids, etc. No a/c but did have a fan. I had to unplug the tv to plug in the fan. VERY VERY HOT in this room. Your bathroom is across the hall. Very uncomfortable when there is another room right there with people coming and going. Not private at all. Town also shuts down at 5 and not open again until after 9. Was hoping for souvenirs but this obviously did not work out either. Very nice brewery however that is open for dining.

The breakfast room was facing the bay and they had a nice selection of continental breakfast choices. Everything was served on pretty blue dragon china and I enjoyed my tea in real cup and saucer. Breakfast was good but a little disappointing as it was only continental so no bacon, sausages, eggs, pancakes etc. we knew that was the case beforehand but for $200 ish we think it should be a full breakfast. The house is very well kept and the dining area is great

- Julie (10/5): - Beautiful authentic seaside bed and brekfast. Literally a stones throw from the ocean. Tammy met us at the property and she was so lovely to chat with and get local history from. We went for dinner at the local pub. I would suggest making reservations in advance we went off season and it was a half hr wait. Luckily we went back to the inn and had a nice glass of wine in the front dining area. So peaceful and gorgeous 360 degrees. We had the double bed room and it was perfect for mother and daughter. The continental breakfast was well thought out and prepared. Thank you Tammy for the lovely stay. 5 stars!

Fresh coffee, home made breads and jams. Warm, soft, clean bedding. Home is beautifully decorated with antique treasures. View of the ocean is stunning.

Nice beds and plenty of blankets. The rooms are decorated with plenty of small touches that make it feel like staying with family. Overall it’s very clean and tidy with a warm atmosphere. Don’t go in expecting a chic metropolitan environment. It is more of a plush, vet quiet country retreat. Simple bliss.

- Noelle (6/5): - I checked in late as I was photographing a new wedding in the area. Upon arriving, the small parking lot was full, leaving me with no where to park my car without blocking another guest. I found my key in the mailbox and made my way to my room, which was clean, but small and very hot. Although it was in the listing, the room did not have a private bathroom but rather a bathroom across the hall. As I had just left a wedding with thousands of dollars worth of equipment, leaving my things in my room with nothing more than a door knob lock so I could to shower did not feel adequate, especially given the $170 cost. I ended up leaving and taking my chances with driving on the highway at midnight back to St. John’s.

Our stay was lovely, and the manager Tammy was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our only issue was the wifi was not always very fast or reliable and the cell service across Dildo is not the best. Just something to keep in mind, but fantastic for disconnecting for a while. Overall 5* stay and would definitely love to come back!

The Inn is welcoming and makes you feel at home. The brewery across the road has great food and entertainment. Their deck areas were lovely to sit out on and watch the sunset.
- Rosie (4/5): - They called us to say they wanted us there between 3-5 but that wasn’t possible from where we were. We arrived at 6:20 and found an envelope with a key and room name. George room has the noisiest metal bed frame. There was no signs or information about breakfast. We left before breakfast happened because there was no information. Very disappointed. Turned out staff was supposed to give us more information but owner called to tell us after we left.
- Verified traveler (8/5): nice hotel by the water - nice pretty spot by the water. nice breakfast room with windows looking out the bay. small parking area but it works if you are good maneuvering tight spaces especially if the parking lot is full. we were upgraded to a bigger room but it was on 2nd floor with only stair access (about 20 steps) which could be issue for people with mobility issues. room ceiling was at an angle so tall people have to duck on this part of the room to get in and out of bed.
- Leslie (10/5): - Beautiful spot right on the water! Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Very clean. We loved the breakfast room. Coffee was very good. Continental breakfast was good, lots to choose from for breads, muffins and pastries. Adding some fruit would be a nice option.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A hidden gem!! - We had a change in plans and were happy there was a room available the day before we were coming. This wonderful spot was clean, our room was spacious, the bed comfy with very nice linens, the bathroom was roomy with a great shower. There’s a small deck outside where we watched the sunset over the bay. A couple that was on the deck had just seen a moose swimming across the bay right before we arrived! Breakfast was served in a sunny room. It was continental style with lots of nice choices and really good coffee. The host, Tammy. Was so pleasant and accommodating. Don’t miss this place when you plan your stay in Dildo! Oh, and the Dildo brewing company is just across the street. Another plus
