• Jessica (8/5): - I loved the comfy feel of the lounge. The food was not great. Ordered cheese plate and they manager and bartender didn't know what was what. Meat was starting to turn. Sour and not great. No televisions? The views are amazing, but we're Bloomberg freaks and missed watching.

• NatSooksabai (2/5): Terrible hotel. Avoid here - Terrible hotel, especially service from front desk! I stayed here 3 nights in the carriage house and it was very cold at night. Heater in the room could not go higher than 72F and at night the temp went down to 65 and I could not increased the temp! I told the reception the next morning for help on the heater or bring portable heater. The reception said she’d ask housekeeper to fix the problem. When i went back to the hotel at night, no one came to my room! Heater was not fix, no portable heater, no room cleaning! I went tot talk to night shift reception. She said it’s not her whom I talked to. She didn’t care to help, only saying it’s a small inn. She said housekeeper could have provide extra blanket, and do nothing. She could have go on to find and provide extra blanket, but she just sat in the chair and did nothing! There is no extra blanket and house keeper did not clean the room! Now is my second night , and I regretted I booked a room here, and I still have to stay 2 more nights. Other facilities are terrible - bed is hard, and looks cheap, no drinking water provided, night table was broken, room is dirty, thin blanket.

• Harry (7/5): A delightful 4 star inn with a 1 star breakfast. - Everything was wonderful except for the disappointing excuse of a breakfast. The coffee was OK, but the day old pastries resembled vittles for the hogs, not a thoughtful continental breakfast. I left at 7am the 2nd morning to avoid that 8am matutinal insult. Again, my room, the restaurant, the woods, the wild gardens, and the staff were absolutely delightful. The disturbing mirage of a light breakfast left a bitter, lasting taste.

• Dorothy (8/5): A Nice Place: pluses and drawbacks - This was a good value, but a few drawbacks. It is not well insulated so you can hear people in other rooms easily. The included free breakfast was pathetic: coffee, water, apples, cold, stale pastries. However, having a dining room at night was a convo. The food was good and the restaurant pleasant. The room was immaculate and ok in size. The bathroom was very small with no place to put toiletries. There was a small vanity that fit two small cosmetic bags. In the hall was a coffee maker with supplies. The staff was pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. It was ok for us since we were staying just two nights and did not need much as we were there to celebrate a special friends birthday. The grounds were lovely. On a pleasant day, one could only sitting outdoors. A lot of pluses and a few minuses. Overall, it’s a pleasant place.

• Jose (8/5): No Parking! - The overall experince was great. I have one complaint during our stay. We arrived during a storm so parking was pretty much taken up, most likely due to patrons going to the restaurant onsite. I guess my problem is why are there not designated parking for people who pay to stay overnight or multiple overnights! We checked in and advised the person at the desk and she basically said I have no ideavwhere you can park. Unexceptible, especially when you have customers who paid to stay over night and most likley have driven from out of state only to be told upon arrival "i dont know where you can park" i highly recommend desinated parking for overnight stays.

• frand38 (2/5): Happy Thanksgiving, NOT. - We called in October and made reservations for a Thanksgiving Dinner at the 2pm seating. We wound up having snow today. Could not reach the Snow Village Inn by phone,,,, no one would answer. We checked the FB page nothing on that so off we went to have our meal. When we got there, their driveway was not plowed, was not drivable, no signage saying they were closed but no signs of life at the place. So here we are sitting at home with grilled cheese and soup. It will be a Thanksgiving we'll never forget. Sadly no one from that establishment called to say there will be no Thanksgiving Dinner this year????
• Mandarin (9/5): A stunning vista in the White Mountains! - The view was absolutely breathtaking! Our room faced an open expanse, looking out towards the mountains with the fall foliage in full color! The grounds were worth exploring. We lucked out on a special rate through Booking.com--it was tremendous value! There is a restaurant on the premises but was open Wednesdays through Sundays only. The closest off-site eateries were at least 20 minutes away. Being in the mountains, access road can be a bit precarious during winter or stormy weather.

• James (8/5): Lovely base for New Hampshire in the fall - Lovely location, friendly staff, beautiful communal areas (very alpine) and a nice place for dinner. Great value and a very good base for seeing fall colours in late September. The mattress was a bit saggy in the middle and breakfast seemed unnecessarily basic (it could be less austere for relatively little extra effort/cost)
• Lnmarie (6/5): Not what we expected - While the property is beautiful, the rooms need some updating. We learned upon arriving that the inn has new owners-and while they were friendly and welcoming, we feel we did not receive things that we thought were included. When I booked back in April, the email stated warm cookies would be waiting to welcome us. That didn’t happen. It was also written that breakfast was included-including a warm entree. I had read the glowing reviews of the breakfasts and that was one reason I chose this place! So our stay was a bit disappointing when the breakfast was bad store bought muffins, croissants and fruit.
• B-FamilyDK (6/5): We booked this based on the many positiv reviews but unfortunately was disappointed. - Rooms are old but cozy. Likely in a nice area but a bit a bit remote. The water supply cut out during the morning but came back after 20 minutes. Luckily we were not under the shower. Breakfast was non-existing. A few croissants, fruit and coffee and nothing else. Super disappointed. The restaurant was closed. Apparently the owners had left for a long weekend leaving the operations to minimum. We were so looking forward for this stay but was very disappointed

• Jin (8/5): - The property was really beautiful and had an amazing view of the mountains and fall foliage. The outdoor area was very “romantic movie-like” which was a lovely experience. The hotel was well heated, and the room we got was very cozy and clean. Some of the appliances (like a small fan in assuming is used in the summer?) were outdated, but it wasn’t that much of an issue. The area is very safe, although at night we had some issues with a very large wasp, a beetle, and a wolf spider in our room, and there wasn’t anyone around to help us. Also, they do not have bug spray as we found out the next morning, so if you’re not into bugs bring some with you just in case. Also, we ordered a fruit basket to celebrate an anniversary and some details were missed (mis-written card, some wrong items). Finally, we thought we booked a different room from the one we thought we booked from the Expedia pictures. None of these details were a big issue, and we had a really great experience overall, but these are just some small overlooked things that could be improved. :)

• Avraham (3/5): Poor - We got a room with a bed for one. I had to sleep on the floor. The next day they changed our room with a bigger bed that was not comfortable. Until now.. even they sed so.. they did not refound us for the first night.
• Mary (9/5): Peaceful mountain location - Beautiful location, a little off the beaten path so during busy fall season it was perfectly peaceful. Room was cozy and clean. Nice bathroom and amenities. The Inn has a fully functional restaurant open to the public and guests at night however breakfast was croissants and muffins. While the quality of both were good, the property is not close to alternatives for a heartier breakfast and having that available would have pushed my rating to an easy 10.
• William (9/5): We would definitely return. It might be nice to stay in the main house. - Max's restaurant is excellent. Exceeded our expectations. The room and bed were comfortable. The whole place was quiet, despite having many guests. Our room had low ceiling and the bathroom could have been a little bigger. But everything worked just fine.

My wife requested to be seated on the screened in porch and the hostess did so and when seating us informed us that if gets chilly she would not reseat us inside. There were dead flies everywhere. After our second night we requested our room to be serviced, after spending the day visiting some sights we returned back late afternoon to find nothing had been done to our room. We departed on day three and my wife checked under the bed to make sure that nothing was left behind. There were someone’s dirty clothes (underwear) and a very lot of dirt and dust underneath. We were disgusted! The restaurant staff were RUDE. The room was disgusting. The food was mediocre at best. Definitely will never recommend or revisit.

The breakfast of muffins, pastries and mini croissants with coffee and fruit was not really for me as I am a cereal , toast eggs guy ! So I guess it’s a subjective thing.

I’ve been posting on my business fb page too Ice in the freezer in the room. We felt that handrails should be installed for guests going up the stairs in the carriage house! Older guests need that assistance if they have joint issues
• nadia (8/5): - It’s a beautiful serene place to stay in. The staff is very welcoming. However, we were not satisfied with not having a full breakfast available as it was advertised on the website. The staff member called and let us know ahead of time but it was too late for us to find another place on short notice. The beds are not comfortable at all and room has a funky smell because of being a very old wooden property. The outdoor has huge spider webs and bathroom had spiders too which is understandable as it’s out in a literal forest. Nonetheless it’s a beautiful place and the staff , especially Jennifer is very friendly and welcoming. She helped us plan our day trips and made sure everything was nice. Overall it was a good experience.

• AMgunnar (10/5): Quintessential New Hampshire White Mountain Inn - A welcoming New Hampshire Inn with an unsurpassed view of the Presidential Range! We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the beautifully decorated Inn itself. The wonderful complimentary breakfast in the charming dining room was superb. We were so pleased that it was so quiet and there was no television or excessive noise to distract from the natural surroundings. We highly recommend Snowvillage Inn and look forward to returning.

When I asked for a room on the first floor, they sent me over to the chimney house which needed a lot of updates, was decorated tacky, and had low water pressure. If they had just given me a room on the first floor which there appeared to be plenty of, I would have given them 5 stars because the staff was very friendly and the restuarant was great.

My husband's steak was overcooked and tough. My haddock was good. Breakfast in the morning was lacking in service and food, and no juice was served.

They are very dusty and 80's Alp-style like. Rooms wasn't exactly clean (used plastic bags under our bed) and nobody made up our room while we were staying. Horrible breakfast. Scrambled eggs out of a carton, hash browns, beacon and store-bought muffins.

• cb2225 (10/5): The Perfect Getaway - Snowvillage Inn is the perfect getaway to unwind. I purchased a live music package to celebrate my husband’s birthday and everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We stayed in a beautiful room in The Chimney House which was beautifully decorated and very clean. We loved that it is away from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we hope to go back!
• justinkT8091BT (10/5): A great combo: Snowvillage Inn & Stone Mountain Art Center - Snow Village Inn is a gem when paired with a music show at the Stone Mountain Art Center about 15 minutes away. The inn and art center combine for a fantastic package night: stay at the Inn and have a 5PM cocktail; you are then driven in a luxury coach to the venue where you get a dinner credit, up front seats and a ride home; a night in a cozy inn and sumptuous breakfast. What could be better?
• H7676OGericah (8/5): Warm, hospitable staff and lovely setting - My husband and I booked the Stone Mountain Arts package, which included transportation to and from the venue as well as complimentary breakfast. The Inn was charming and the staff was very welcoming. We will definitely plan to visit again.
• TechDoctor (10/5): An Awesome Celestial Stay! - Snowvillage Inn changed ownership about a week before we came. The new owners were on site, active, very friendly, and were hard working! They are experienced, having purchased and run other country inns in New England, especially New Hampshire. The inn is picturesque, but picturesque is not a stand-in for cozy and comfortable! The room was large, the bathroom nice and warm on a cool early spring night, and the bed was just right, with a good mattress, bedding, and pillows. The bar and bartender were warm and the drinks well made. The food greatly exceeded expectations! The menu was longer than expected, and the chef did a great job for all four of us. We had come up to see the eclipse, and the view of Mt. Washington before and during the eclipse (with a cloudless sky) was awesome. I highly recommend the inn and wish the new owners the best!

• dilacqua (10/5): An Inn for All Seasons - My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful winter weekend at the Snowvillage Inn. Everything was right about it. Quaint, cozy and spotlessly clean accommodations without being stuffy. Jen and Kevin were gracious hosts, lending a very personal experience to our visit. Same with our dinner in Max’s Restaurant where the food and service (thanks Kristin!) were exceptional. Location is perfect, close to North Conway/Mt Washington Valley and all they have to offer but feeling worlds away. Truly an inn for all seasons. We look forward to another visit in the summer!

• Stay54800040136 (10/5): Relaxing, peaceful, beautiful views, inviting and warm reception from the hosts. - The Inn was beautiful! We stayed in the Chimney House to take advantage of the gas fireplace in the room. The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the snow. It felt like coming home at the end of the day. The view from the Inn was incredible. There were 2 yummy complimentary breakfast choices every morning and it was nice to visit with other guests. We also enjoyed the bar and meeting more guests. The hosts were incredibly warm and inviting and made us feel welcome, along with a big welcome from the Inn cat, Cinci. During our visit, we booked a four hour snowmobile tour, and rode the Cog Train and the Mount Washington Snow Coach. We enjoyed learning so much from all of the tour guides about the history of the area. Our last day we took the Snow Train out of North Conway and did some shopping and had lunch in the town. I would HIGHLY recommend the Inn. Even though we were going all day, it was so peaceful to return to our room at night.
• Mary (10/5): Wonderful Winter Get Away - This was a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean, breakfast was delicious and the in room fireplaces divine. The weather was perfect which only made things better. Our hosts were friendly, helpful but not intrusive. It was simply a great trip.

• William (8/5): - The property itself is gorgeous, and the room we had was so cozy and warm. Max’s pub had really good food, and I loved the complimentary breakfast. There were some issues with finding staff when we needed them - every time I needed someone I had to track them down. And I think the biggest issue I had with my stay here was the fact that they allow pets. My partner and I tried to go to bed early so we could get to go skiing, but the room below us had a dog who would not stop whining - it almost ruined the trip. The reason we came out to this isolated area was to get some peace and quiet, but that dog made our trip worse. It’s not the staff’s fault that one of their customers decided to bring a noisey dog, but I do hope they change their pet friendly policy, as it can be disruptive to guests without animals. I can’t wait to stay here again, but my wish for next time is to have a more readily available staff and more peace and quiet.

We attended a family function at Max's and stayed in the converted barn by the road and it was very nice. The breakfast was terrific, as well. Overall it was a very good value and we plan to return in the summer.
• Dovid (9/5): Superb - Lovely, historic inn with a view of Mt. Washington. We stayed on the upper floor of the carriage house and the room was lovely, with a wood decor. There is a common area with an extensive library and plenty of games. The breakfast was good and the restaurant, although pricey, offered a tasty selection for dinner.

• C8985HXstanleys (10/5): Wonderful Get Away - Our stay was an anniversay gift to us and yes it was a gift. It was a wonderful get away. The food in the Inn was wonderful. People were very Friendly. The view from our room was incrediable mountain view. We went to the Inn at this time of year for the annual Cookie tour. Enjoy your stay!
• _denmcg99 (10/5): Classic New England - This is exactly what we were looking for! A casual family run country inn with a lovey quiet room overlooking the mountains. The restaurant was perfect for dinner, as was the bar side for cocktails or dinner. Ken is a fantastic chef and each meal was better than the next. We had expected to go to North Conway for dinner one night, but why bother? As tucked away as the Inn is, the fabulous Stone Mountain Art Center is nearby, as is North Conway and the magnificent Kancamagus Highway. It's New England at its best!
• Marilyn (10/5): - I got this as a birthday present. We had a gas fireplace. It was a very cozy and hospitable environment. Breakfast was included which was great and plentiful. I wish I had taken a heavier jacket to fully enjoy the recommended areas but definitely recommend.

I enjoy shows at Stone Mountain Arts Center a few miles away in Brownfield, Maine, and Snowvillage Inn offers a great package, providing show tickets, a dinner voucher, a ride to and from the show, and a cozy room and breakfast at the Inn. The whole experience is so lovely and comfortable, and Snowvillage Inn couldn't be more charming. Highly recommend.

Thank you Kevin and Jen for your hospitality and kindness. We spent four days here and were sad to leave. We stayed in the"Frost Suite" in the main house and it was absolutely magical. The views were spectacular. The owners have seen to every detail. The grounds are gorgeous and we took advantage of the lovely area and went for walks in their woods. The daily breakfast cooked by Kevin was wonderful. Shout out to Renee who treated us so kindly. We recommend this Inn so highly and look forward to coming back someday.
