Luckily we were able to open our rooms window and the room eventually smelled better. Our room was also very, very small. We stayed for two nights and there was nowhere to open two suitcases or anywhere to unpack a few things.

With an email before we arrived, I had requested decaf coffee to be available in the morning. The first morning it was not. I asked for it and got it about 20 minutes later with breakfast. The second morning it was available at 7:00 am, as requested. The third morning it was not available again and I finally got some with breakfast. It seems like such a small problem but with a heart condition like mine, you can’t drink caffeine.

- Gregory (10/5): - This tends to be our go-to B & B when we travel to Napa. The reasonable price compared to most other lodgings in the area, the included breakfast, complimentary parking, and and easy walk to downtown Napa or easy drive to wineries makes this the perfect spot to stay for a night or two. It is an older property, so don’t expect modern furnishings or decorations. If you like romance, you’ve got a fireplace in every room as well as a big tub. The sheets are of a very high quality. The bed is a little hard for my liking, but that’s not enough to keep me away.

We didn’t realize until the 2nd morning’s breakfast how the service should have been. It may have been staff were overwhelmed by quite a few guests arriving at 8 AM our 1st morning but we had to ask how breakfast would work since we waited quite some time. The food, however, was delicious both days. All other services met our expectations.

I literally dream about their breakfast for weeks before each trip. This weekend included Chilaquiles, omelettes and a unique New Orleans breakfast with sausage, grits and biscuits. They definitely send you off to your first wine tasting full and happy. We are already looking forward to our next trip.

- Sarah (10/5): 10/10 Property with Attentive Staff - This is truly a gem of a stay in Napa. Quaint and unassuming, but will always exceed all expectations. From cozy and scenic baths, to a comfortable and clean sleep; paired with a communicative and attentive staff and clean lodgings, what’s not to love!? If you can’t attend an on-site breakfast, they’ll prep you a continental breakfast with some of the freshest fruit available. They make sure to outline everything you might need and then some with their stellar communication. 2nd time staying and I’ll continue to frequent this spot!

- William (10/5): - There aren’t enough good things I could say about this place! My fiancée and I checked in late, and were provided very easy instructions for our after-hours check-in. There were cookies and a bucket of ice waiting for us in the lobby upon our arrival which was a very pleasant surprise, and they were even playing soft Christmas music to add to the already comfy atmosphere. Our room was immaculate! Extremely spacious, private balcony, HUGE bathtub, extraordinarily comfortable bed, the list goes on. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast was served(I heard it’s great), but the friendly innkeeper didn’t let us leave without offering hot coffee and quite possibly the best muffin I’ve ever had. Our stay felt much too short, and we will ABSOLUTELY be back in the future!

- Bronwyn (9/5): Can’t wait to visit again. - Great sized room with a nice seating area and fireplace. We enjoyed the quiet location and its proximity to downtown. For the most part we left our car behind and explored on foot. The breakfast was good and we appreciated that it was freshly made. Only wish the weather was better so we would have had an opportunity to sit outside. The mini fridge made some noises, but it wasn’t enough to complain about.
- G_pic (6/5): An average hotel with a good breakfast - The staff was extremely helpful during the stay. The location is close to Napa centre. Good parking facilities. The facilities are old, damage visible on chairs, walls, closets. Light came into the room in the morning and there was no way to have a curtain. Airco made a huge noise during the night which did not allow me to sleep well.
- Inbar (9/5): Superb - Quiet location but still a walking distance to downtown, great breakfast, cute garden, staff members were nice and accommodating. It's an old building so you can hear creeks and sounds from the hallway and some of the other rooms

- Elizabeth (4/5): Overpriced - The day staff were nice. Breakfast being cooked to order was a nice concept. If you aren't able to check in between 3 and 5 pm, don't bother. We followed the instructions for late check-in, and the door was jammed. It was only 7 pm, so we called the phone number for assistance. The man on the other end of the line was so incredibly rude and completely unhelpful. We figured out on our own that the instructions we were given were missing a step and thankfully got the door open. I found a bug on our bed and a hair on my plate at breakfast. The paint was peeling and the room decor felt outdated. We slept because we were exhausted from our road trip, but we slept on top of the sheets. We're not really sure how this place can be considered a "4 star hotel."

- Steven (9/5): Loved it, would stay again. - Loved this property - made our Napa trip so much better! The home, grounds, and room with balcony were perfect. Nice comfy bed, clean bathroom. Music playing in the lobby made for ideal ambiance. Very nice to sit outside in the morning for breakfast. A little bit of a walk away from main stretch of bars and restaurants (sweaty on a hot day). Room layout is very interesting with a large tub in the room. We didn’t really interact with anyone because we checked in relatively late.
