I had my grandkids with me, and they loved being able to walk around and see everything going on. The location is honestly the best part because you’re right in the middle of everything, so we didn’t have to drive anywhere. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing over the top but definitely nice. The staff was friendly whenever we needed something, and overall it just felt like an easy, relaxing stay. I would stay here again for sure, especially if I’m coming back to The Star.

- Autumn0222 (10/5): Cheer Competition Visit - We were in Frisco for a large cheerleading competition and stayed at the Omni for location to the venue. Upon check-in I was greeted by Cesar who made me feel so welcome and special. He gave me one on one attention like I was the only guest there. Bismark helped us with our bags and was such a delight to be around. The Omni did an incredible job keeping the lobby clean and not congested by allowing only hotel guests into the lobby. I had a small situation that came up where I was needing some items from the store and Cesar told me they had the items on hand in the hotel and took care of me. The Omni allowed me to pay a small fee for late check-out at 3pm which was perfect since we competed late in the day. Upon check-out Bismark once again took care of us and our bags. The staff here was fantastic and Cesar went above and beyond and checked in on me every time he saw me around the property! Looking forward to my next visit!
- 636hopep (4/5): Sub par… in so many ways. - I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star. We paid a premium price expecting a higher level of service, but it was one issue after another from the moment we arrived. Upon arrival, we used valet, but there were no luggage carts available. Meanwhile, several valet/bell staff were standing around and no one offered assistance—even after we mentioned the lack of carts. We ended up carrying everything ourselves. When we entered the room, there was already a used Q-tip on the floor in the entryway, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. The room itself was also disappointing. The so-called “deluxe” room felt cramped, the shower was small, and the water pressure was extremely weak—definitely not what you expect at this price point. The checkout experience was the worst part. Housekeeping knocked on our door almost an hour before checkout telling us it was “time to check out,” which felt incredibly rude and rushed—like we were being pushed out of a room we paid a premium for. On top of that, we were told we couldn’t use a luggage cart unless we were “on a list.” Moments later, someone else walked right behind us, took a cart without any issue, and when we asked him about the “list,” he had no idea what we were talking about—and no one stopped him. Overall, the service was inconsistent, unprofessional, and far below expectations. This was a huge waste of money, and I would not stay here again.

For check in, there was a line out the door. Room wasn't ready until 5:20. You got a free drink while you wait but the pop-up bar in the lobby was closed off showing all tables 'reserved'. So went to Neighborhood Services and it was packed. Not enough bartenders to serve IF you got a high top. It was a mess. Make sure to plan to wait for something when checking in for any weekend from November- December.

Rooms were large and everything is marketing towards the Dallas Cowboys. Best feature was the soaking tub. It is separate from the shower so both people can use them simultaneously. One issue, was the day of check out the cleaning staff knocked on our door from 930 to 1200 every 30 mins asking if we were still there. Never seen anything like that before and took away from the overall rating.

Reservations lied to me so I booked this hotel for my 5 year olds sleepover birthday party with several of her friends and imagine their disappointment when they didn’t get to swim like she requested for her birthday. I had 5 other options with pools that wear actually heated or indoors within a 10 mile radius but chose this one that was more expensive bc of the convenient location to restaurants. The actual hotel was nice but I regret booking here and all the customer service did was apologize and shrug about the “misunderstanding.”

From the moment we pulled in and were met by the friendly and attentive valet staff, to the easy check in process at the front desk with Stacia, who was such a sweetheart. Our room was clean and beautiful and full of amenities that were added to with some special touches for our anniversary. The view of the Star and surrounding shops and restaurants was stunning! Relaxing by the pool was a great way to spend an afternoon, capped by an early drink at the lobby bar before heading out for dinner. The best part for me was having a morning cappuccino at the lobby bar with Dorothy, who not only made a great cappuccino but was also amazing, sweet and great with conversation. Overall the stay was an amazing experience, with the friendly staff making it feel like we were at a home away from home. We'll definitely be back!

Our room was right above the pool and we could hear a DJ and loud conversation from our room. I traveled there with children and some of the chosen music was not what I’d consider appropriate for children. The subsequent nights there was music playing on the field ALL NIGHT LONG. I was woken up multiple times because the music in our room was so loud. The staff was amazing, but the overall experience for the price was miserable. The location is good, but don’t expect to get any sleep when you are there.

One of my managers was sick, and we tried to get hot water from the coffee machine, but it wasn’t working. We went to another room and encountered some issues there as well. When Marlyn found out about the problem, she went to another room, unplugged a brand new coffee machine, and brought it to us. Not only that, but she also moved our cooler and connected it for us. Afterward, she brought us extra bags, extra towels, and checked on us every day. She was amazing, and because of her exceptional service, you have a guest for life! Thank you, Marlyn Montoya!

- heatherq970 (10/5): Special touches and fun - My husband and I are huge Cowboys fans so picked the Omni for a staycation over Labor Day Weekend as our first night away from our new baby. When we let them know we were traveling for a special occasion they made the time so special! Cesar at the front desk was so accommodating and helpful and helped us check in early even though the hotel was really busy at the time. We had a bottle of champagne waiting in our room and later they delivered a cute football themed snack plate. The weather was rainy all weekend so we didn’t get to use the pool but we were in a Plaza Suite - can’t recommend this room highly enough. It was so comfortable and had a great view. I am over 6’ and the bathtub was big enough even for me! All the restaurants within walking distance made this such a nice weekend getaway and we really enjoyed all the Cowboys art and memorabilia throughout the hotel. We will definitely be back to get to enjoy the pool and a facility tour when the weather is better.

- Cara (10/5): - We've stayed at the Omni Frisco Star several times; it's one of our favorite places for a date night weekend. The staff is always amazing and the hotel is beautiful. We love the convenience to restaurants, shopping, and bars in the area.

The hotel has a true luxury feel, with excellent service, spacious rooms, and great amenities that made my visit both relaxing and memorable. The dining options and leisure facilities added to the enjoyment, and the staff were consistently attentive and welcoming. While the price is on the higher side and there were moments of noise and areas that could use a refresh, these were minor compared to the overall quality of the stay. I would happily return and recommend it for both leisure and business travelers.”
