- Patrick (2/5): Not a place I will ever stay again and will request a partial refund. - Nothing Dirty, room in poor condition, and extremely overpriced for such a old tired facility
- Sonia (4/5): Not worth $160+ per night - The restaurant staff were friendly and there was free accessible parking. This property didn’t advertise that it is attached to a gambling centre and pub. My room smelt of cigarettes and was very dirty - there were marks and dirt on the doors and walls, there was loose hair on the end table and the cushions were very old and dirty. It was also noisy due to patrons downstairs/people in the hallway blasting music with their door open.
- Anthony (8/5): -
- Petra (8/5): Had everything we needed for a short stay. -
- Roslyn (8/5): -
- Tracey (6/5): Great location though lots of noise heard from downstairs & very poor shower. - The location was good, walking distance to dinner options, as we couldn't afford to dine in the restaurant. The shower was terrible. The water fluctuated between boiling hot and freezing cold without adjusting the tap, and at one point the water even stopped to a small drip midway through a shower.

- Michael (6/5): -
- Colin (8/5): - A comfortable bed, clean room, helpful staff,a reasonable rate and close to shops
- William (10/5): - ロケーションとスタッフが最高です。 ない
- Madeline (2/5): Barely tolerable. - Not much When I checked in, the staff we harried and lacked appropriate interpersonal skills. When I went to my room, it hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant. They did find me another room, but I felt it was very poor. Overpriced for the service and facilities, very aged room and bathroom.
- Sturzaker (6/5): -
- Diogo (4/5): -
- Jack (7/5): Good location and price - Location Shared facilities are run down
- Terry (8/5): A good place for one night and access to other areas of launceston. - Location great but noisy early morning and loud patrons. Bistro booked out and one unhelpful staff member. All other bar staff excellent. Tv in room useless. Froze constantly and no free to air channels.

- Richard (8/5): - Very clean and had everything we needed for the night. Convenient location and parking. Quite noisy overnight - from the street and the AC units outside the main bedroom window.
- Kaur (7/5): -
- Ronning (8/5): - Close to places to eat The traffic noise
- Harry (5/5): Cheap but noisy - Clean, cheap, convenient location, good parking. Lots of road and corridor noise. I’m a heavy sleeper but still got woken up once a night. Making the bed and restocking water was a bit random each night. Pub meal was small but plenty of options locally. Was aware of the shared bathrooms but not much privacy if you’re bothered about that.
- sharni (2/5): Hard pass - The staff were lovely and the bed was comfortable. Very old and run down. Bad access to car park from the accommodation section.
Shared bathroom which I didn’t realise when booking it! And honestly for $120 for a single person for what was offered is very poor.
- Manzoor (6/5): - Clean bed with bed sheets and towels Shared toilets and showers. The toilets were not clean. Very close proximity to each other and with showers as well. Overall the toilet and shower are in the same place and not comfortable to me.
- Hemnath (9/5): -
- Ashma (3/5): -
- Patrick (8/5): - The bed was really comfy, room was nice and clean. Sheets smelt super fresh and clean. Toilets were sub par, one was broken and the other one was clogged. And the frame for the door to the stall is quite low can hit your head on it if not careful. Also didn’t like the fact the showers in the men’s room were not lockable they had just a curtain over them.
- Paul (7/5): The staff were lovely - The bed and linen were lovely. Very comfortable The shared bathroom didn’t offer any privacy.
- Graulund (8/5): -
- keith (10/5): A good honest old school country pub - friendly staff, a proper coiuntry pub. it all seemed fine for the price I paid.
- Inoto (10/5): -

- Nicholas (3/5): - The staff were friendly The shared bathroom/showers smelled really bad

- Mohammad (7/5): Easy to park your car, easy access to the restaurants, however noise was terrible, work progress on the street started e - Staff and in house bar The street side was very noisy

- Robert (4/5): I was disappointed for what we got for the money we paid to stay in a room with just a bed. - Bed was comfy and the bistro had nice meals. Also the staff were lovely. I didn't like that there was no toilet or shower in the room. I wouldn't of paid $108.00 a night if I knew that. Also the noise of the street was very loud in the room. You could hear people walking past talking.

- Santhosh (3/5): Would never rebook. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. That was the only highlight of the property. Poorly managed property, uncomfortable beds, dusty carpets and shelves, the side room connects to the main room through the bathroom and there is only one AC unit in the main room. This means the second room is not ventilated. Poor access to plug points. The cups and glasses were not clean. Staircase lock kept getting stuck, Overall, a very bad experience.

- Ashley (7/5): -
- shrestha (5/5): - Toilet
- Kimberley (8/5): Central location, very clean, with friendly and helpful staff. - Very friendly staff and very clean. There was only one chair in the room and no table. Would have preferred to have at least a small table.
- Thomas (7/5): -
- Lei (9/5): -
- Tony (7/5): Handy transit stop - Being a hotel I was a little concerned about late night noise but was pleasantly surprised by quiet. Free drink was appreciated. Clean and tidy, value for money. Aircon outside window was a little noisy being a light sleeper.
- Grace (7/5): - It was great! noisy with the main road being there but understandable that it’s not in the hotels fault as they can’t control the road traffic
but just heads up that it’s not quite as busy road
Could easily get into city via bus two dollar coins and gets u right into the CBD so very easy Noise
- Gloria (5/5): - It was the cheapest place we could find available during peak Christmas season. Place feels a little dodgy as there's a little casino downstairs. If you want budget, I guess this is the place to stay. We got a family room where there are 2 rooms interconnected via a shared bathroom. It had no air-conditioning in the inner room and it was a little hot and stuffy to sleep in there.
- Susan (8/5): Would stay again - Easy accessible. meals were good Had a couple of problems and the staff were excellent
- Yao Lung (7/5): Comfortable family room option near Launceston city - Despite the age of the building, the room was updated sufficiently. Bed was comfortable. Shower water pressure was good. Love the complimentary welcome drinks for the entire group instead of the promised two drinks. The family room #3 was located at the corner of the main street so it wasn't the quietest room. The layout was also a bit odd as the bathroom was between both rooms - to get to the 2nd room with the double bed, one had to pass through the bathroom.
Pillows were lumpy and did not match the comfort of the mattress.
- Nadia (10/5): -
- Tom (6/5): Couldn't sleep well for 2 nights - Friendly staff Noise from road underneath and other rooms, seem not very noise-proofing.
- Prashant (6/5): -
- Calem Payne (8/5): -
- Yasmin (10/5): Smooth -
- Lyn (1/5): - We didn’t stay because of shared bathrooms. We didn’t read the description correctly
- Johannes (2/5): Not worth the price just as your last option - Very central location if you wanna stay in Mowbray. Several grocery shops, restaurants and bus stop nearby. The mattress was to old and saggy. The view out of the room was straight onto dirty old Air-conditioning units. Which brings me to the next issue. The air-conditioning units outside my window were quite loud and i could hear them running all the time with the window closed. If you're a light sleeper definitely bring earplugs.
The shelf below the sink was really disgusting. The blanket in the wardrobe was folded poorly, dusty and had a dead fly on it.
Lots of light came through the door from the hallway outside so a eye mask for sleeping was required.
The door to the toilet always closed suddenly that it was almost impossible to close it quitely at night.
The place felt really run down
- Prabakar (6/5): - Location Master bedroom with zero ventilation and access via bathroom
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Vilma Johanna (8/5): - The bed mattress it’s too soft
- Jouk (9/5): - Friendly staff and good location No ensuite bathroom
- Everrickaleldesso (10/5): I would highly recommend this place. It has a welcoming and friendly environment. - The architecture of the building is beautiful, the staff are approachable, friendly and humorous.
Their bistro makes phenomenal chicken parmas, I was lucky to be there on their Thursday Parma night and had the best Parma. Their bar has some really lovely patrons that are welcoming.
It’s close to all the shops you would require. The male bathrooms smelt a bit stale.
- Billie (1/5): Will not be staying again - I liked the fact that it was close There was no bathroom in the rooms and when you went to use the bathroom, the shower/bath is held onto by tape
- James (3/5): - the window had been broken into at some point and then instead of fixing it they've tried to hold it together with a tiny pin which wasn't really holding on to any thing. So I didn't really feel safe
There was smeared poo on the wall next to the toilet
The shower head was at chest height
- Ilene (3/5): - Close to the shops. The sink is blocked and the place is untidy.
- Proud (8/5): - Bed was comfy, room was cozy and the staff were excellent and very helpful Shared bathroom
- Lorraine (9/5): - Staff were great. Room clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom a bit drafty.
- Hayley (7/5): - Comfortable room
- Marshall (5/5): - well priced bathroom facilities
- Ken (1/5): -
- Sajan (10/5): -
- Bradley (6/5): -
- Simon (2/5): No sleep and tired accommodation - The property was easy to find and fairly central The property was tired and run down but the noise at night was the main problem. All night the refrigeration unit was kicking in and out and was very loud in the room. Other guests weee talking loudly until 04;00am and we had little or no sleep the entire night.
