Guest Reviews
- Allan (6/5): Good but very noisy. - Staff very nice and friendly. The rooms are very, very noisy due to the squeaking, creaking floor boards. If you are in a ground floor room the noise from above makes it impossible to have a pleasant early night if you have an early rise. Something needs to be done about the noisy floors.
- Colin (8/5): Convenient - Close to work
Friendly staff Small room but only one night

- John (10/5): Convenient and hospitable. - This is a delightful hotel in a convenient location. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We ate a delicious dinner and a generous breakfast. The facilities were very comfortable indeed. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.

- John (10/5): I'll be back - The whole experience was great, I had a lovely meal in the restaurant, comfy sleep and a delicious fresh breakfast.
- Jaccmundo (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay. - Excellent hotel in Dyce, food was superb...will definitely use again.
- Voyage61482578305 (8/5): Short stay - Good location for events at P&J. Competitive pricing. Room was basic but clean and fine. Unfortunately no tv service as their systems were being upgraded (hence only 4 stars) but no big deal as we were only there for one night and going to an event.
Couldn't book lunch / dinner as fully booked due to Restaurant Week offer that was running but this was our fault as left it too late. Obviously very popular for food and our breakfast was excellent.
Staff very attentive and friendly. Would stsy again
- Daniel (7/5): Ok. Did the job - Good location. Ok for parking. Staff generally helpful. Poor breakfast. Hardly any choice. Room a bit run down. Couldn't get any TV Channels
- paulbrady1967 (10/5): Great place to stay - Stayed here many times both for business and leisure, as always a nice friendly welcome, clean room and great food all at a very reasonable rate
- Euan (8/5): -
- Paul (8/5): - Proximity to both, the Heliport and Dyce Railway Station. Only 1.5hrs to get breakfast on a morning.
- Philip (8/5): - Staff very helpful and attentive
Good choice great and if good quality Nit just this hotel but prices in general for dyce are expensive
- Mateusz (2/5): - peace and quiet This isn't the first time I've stayed at this place, and I've always been satisfied with everything.
But this time, the filth in the room and bathroom was terrible, making me unsure if I'll choose this place again.
and I wonder why I can't add photos of the object?

- Lynn (10/5): Great value small hotel - Lovely staff who were very helpful. Great breakfast with a cooked option and continental buffet. The room at the front of the hotel was very spacious and clean. TV was used to access Netflix Nothing

- patriciapF4290GZ (10/5): Beautiful Funeral Tea - We recently had our Dad's funeral tea here. It was lovely, food was great (everyone commented on the lovely homemade sausage rolls) and the service we received was exceptional. Stuart and his team really looked after us, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Everything ran very smoothly, and we feel we were able to give our Dad the lovely send off he deserved. Thanks again to Stuart and his team at Dunavon, and we would definitely recommend a function here.
- Pamela Morrison (9/5): - It is very close to train station and heli ports. Very very cold room no heating was on when I went in.
- Kirstie (8/5): Great place - Food and staff very helpful Bed was hard and pillows lumpy
- Mark (8/5): Great location and a friendly welcome from all the staff.f. . - The location was excellent giving access to both the nearby railway and also within a 5 minute drive to Aberdeen airport .There were also local amenities within a 5 minute walk. The staff were both helpful and friendly.
- Paul (8/5): - Close to Dyce Railway Station. Very clean, with polite staff. Excellent breakfast too. Only served breakfast from 7am until 8.30am. However I missed breakfast one morning as I had to leave for work early, and the staff kindly provided me with a bacon sandwich 😊
- Lynn (9/5): As I said above - the hotel is just right for the reason I need bed and breakfast on my visits to Dyce. - It’s comfortable and homely and has everything that suits my needs. Nothing
- louisedO5781XW (10/5): Fantastic visit - Fantastic stay at the Dunavon, nothing was too much trouble, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was well equipped and comfortable. Food was fantastic both for the breakfast and main menu and also the party food! We would absolutely stay again

- Louise (9/5): - Friendly staff where nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic food and a nice cosy comfy room. Fabulous to have a later check out time of 11am, saves feeling rushed on your last day! The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast service time. 7-8.30 is a really short window and very early. Even just extending it to 9am would be great. Other than that everything was spot on!
- Dan (9/5): It's a nice old cosy place with very good food - The menu is very good. Staff really interested in making you feel welcomed Very small rooms. You can hear everything and anybody outside your room, every step you take is accompanied by a sound made by the floor
- gmilnes20 (10/5): Tremendous Food - As a family we regulary visit for meals and drinks as it is one of our favourite places to eat, My wife and I booked a meal for Hogmany and we thoroughly enjoyed it, every course was exceptional, definitely 10 out of 10 and hats off to the chef. The service was also great and we will be heading back soon.
We definitely recommend people trying the Dunavon, they won't be disappointed

- Lynn (10/5): I always find myself feeling very comfortable in the hotel and welcome. - I like the decor, cleanliness, location and lovely staff. The parking is sometimes not enough.

- stevebintley (10/5): Great restaurant - Although I didn’t stay in this hotel, I can certainly recommend the restaurant and bar area! It’s so much bigger than you’d imagine with very friendly staff. The food menu is extensive and the prices are brilliant. From dining tables to some sofas by a fireplace it’s got a cosy vibe and everywhere is modern and clean. I’ll be returning for sure.
- Simon (7/5): Lovely place great staff needs updated with technology in rooms - Great staff iv stayed here a handful of times Tv was out of action not tv working only amazon or Netflix if you had accounts .it's mental the prices they charge and this day of age there's no sky tv channels in the room. My friend tried to book the night before i arrived and it was £220 on booking.com bumped the prices up so highly to cash in on someone trying to get to work offshore the next morning is the only reason i can think of scandalous behaviour.
- F9075FGmargaretd (2/5): Beware Cu Next Tuesday Manager. I wont be going back. - Nasty, nasty manager. Didnt get breakfast I paid for and told I had to wait for lunch.
Window locked shut in a small room. £130 a night is a total rip off. Spoke to as if I was a naughty child when I asked for breakfast. Nasty messages up about drugs and Police. Dirty duvet under clean cover. Cold showers. Weird place, not at all welcoming.

- David (9/5): - Food and staff where brilliant
- Katostrophic (10/5): Ten out of ten every time - I can't fault this place, it's so much more luxurious than a B&B but more homely than a large hotel... a perfect inbetween. Really friendly staff, excellent food, gorgeous decor & its actually warm, unlike so many B&Bs & the rooms have radiators with thermostatic valves so you can have the room as warm as you like (& the windows open). Its so close to Dyce train station which is really handy. I'll always choose Dunavon if I need to be in that area, love it ❤️
- Stephen (6/5): I normally always have a great stay here, this is a one off complaint - Close to train station and staff are very friendly, I’ve been staying here on several occasions, and to be honest it’s one of the better accommodations in the area. The room below, the TV was full blast till 2330hrs even as I went to the bar I could hear the TV, and room 25 could do with some curtains! It was like Blackpool Illuminations, please don’t let this put anyone off, I’m just having a moan after a days travelling when I could’ve been doing with some sleep. I didn’t need to watch the Liverpool match or watch the news as I could hear it all 😩
- Liam (8/5): - Nice hotel theme, decent rooms, done me a good early breakfast. Nice staff
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Eoin (7/5): - Very friendly and well located near station and heliport Noisy from the road at night
- Anna (9/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): - Staff friendly and accommodating, room clean and tidy and pre-ordering breakfast was very useful. Nothing, everything was good and a pleasant stay.
- william (9/5): Another excellent stay, sweetening my work trips offshore - Fabulous Food and service, excellent value for money in a cosy and very friendly atmosphere.
Will be back NA
- william (9/5): - Another great couple of nights, food excellent And great value for money NA

- Philip (10/5): - comfortable
- eric (10/5): Great place to stay - Great breakfast, friendly staff
- william (9/5): Going to bring the wife the next time - Cost only 75 pounds a night, including a fully cooked breakfast, slept like a baby in the small room on suit, excellent dinners at very reasonable pricing. Service staff excellent, tipped them all the time to express my appreciation. For the cost, exceptional
- Gary (10/5): Excellent stay couldn’t fault it . - Easy access for our trip, nice staff , great food 👍 Nothing
- Colin (9/5): Great value accommodation with comfort and good food. - This place was a pleasant surprise. It is near the airport and was unlike the places we have been booking in the older, tourist parts of town.
But it was great and amazing value for money. The staff were friendly, the restaurant good and the room comfortable. The breakfast was well presented but a little limited. Dollar for dollar the Dunavon was brilliant. No scenic walks from the front door but the area was quiet and accessible.
- Linda (8/5): - Close to work. Everything was adequate
- Christopher (10/5): -
- Mark (8/5): Will book a double next time. - Check in as at the bar inside.
Opted for a single room which, in hindsight, was a mistake.
Room was small, but fairly well equipped. Bathroom ok.
Hot water took ages to run warm.
Could only get the BBC News channel on the TV.
Lots of noise from the road outside and had to have the window open as room too warm.
Dinner was superb: scampi and chips made from monkfish tails.
Breakfast is served from 0700 which no good as had to leave hotel at 0540.
- Mark (4/5): Essentially a Bed and Breakfast with Hotel prices - Friendly staff Single rooms are small and need renovations, can’t control heating in rooms and bathroom very narrow and access it from a shoddy sliding door, it was like a wardrobe, seems expensive in comparison to a Travelodge for what you get!
- steve (8/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Great - Very nice hotel, wish I knew about it earlier!
- Kathleen (7/5): - Thr food and the staff were very nice. The rooms are below expected standard with multiple faults in each of them
- Andrew (9/5): - Location, good sized room, easily accessible with a child's buggy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Perhaps more vegetarian options on the menu please.
- Ryan (8/5): - Comfortable bed and clean room + good location! Exactly what I need for travelling to work. It's a bit noisy though with people walking about and going in and out the front door. Multiple times, I was awakened from people leaving the premises. Also, the shower curtain in the room needed to be replaced as it had some mould showing at the bottoms of it.
- HELENE (8/5): Halte agréable pour prendre l'avion - Hotel bien placé pour se rendre à l'aéroport.
Personnel agréable et serviable.
Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.
- Ricardo (7/5): -
- Robert (8/5): - bardzo dobre jedzenie, miła i pomocna obsługa
- Nicole (9/5): Short and sweet - Homely and clean and staff very nice Smell coming into room from kitchen and very warm in the evening being a small room couldn’t open window cause of smell from
Kitchen
- Garry (9/5): Superb -
- Abdul (7/5): Good -
- Teresa (6/5): - We were in a room with one window facing a wall. However, the staff were very courteous and we had a restful sleep.
- Simon (8/5): Very good -
- Jagath (8/5): Great staff - The staff, the location and facilities. I forgot to carry my suit when checking out and was going to Dubai. However, I had a trip back to the UK, London after a week and when I requested to deliver the suit to the hotel in london, staff responded to it promptly. I collected the kit from the london hotel week after. Nothing.
