It’s the most incredible location we’ve ever stayed in. You won’t be disappointed with the views. The apartment was relatively small, but more than enough for us. • Teoni (7/5): - Clean and modern apartment with stunning views of the Colosseum We had ongoing problems with the Wi-Fi. Each day we had to turn the modem off to get our wifi working again. We also received incorrect instructions for accessing the apartment. We were told to turn the key one click to the left, but this didn’t work. After calling management, even their guidance didn’t immediately help, it took about 20 minutes of trial and error on the phone before we finally got the door open. The toilet didn’t flush properly and would make a constant tinkling noise after use, which was irritating. The additional €400 security deposit we didn’t know about prior felt excessive considering the already high cost to book this apartment for our stay.

• Kelly (9/5): - So much to love about this property! The views were incredible, the location was great, it was spacious and very clean. It’s in a very noisy spot due to tourists, but the windows do a great job at blocking out the noise. The dishwasher was an issue for us tripping the power circuit to our lights and air conditioning - along with another unit on the same floor that we also rented. We had to go right downstairs to fix the circuit each time it shorted. The air conditioner in the main room is very noisy, making it hard to sleep. Management told us to change the settings, but it made no difference. The lift is not great if you’re claustrophobic. All 8 of us used the stairs (3 floors). Management are very responsive - we had power outages, blocked toilets and air conditioner issues, and they were quick to act each time. We’d definitely stay here again.

• destiny (2/5): - Our stay at The Amazing Colossal was an utter nightmare. What was promised online per the listing —four bedrooms, luxury amenities, working appliances, and a clean, safe environment—was absolutely false. There was only one real bedroom and a broken pullout sofa (not the one pictured), which didn’t even lay flat. The safe was broken, internet didn’t work for over 24 hours, and the coffee maker was unusable. Worse, my children were bitten by bed bugs, and my daughter developed ringworm after sleeping on the infested sofa. We were forced to share the one bed the first night due to the unsafe and misleading setup. The management told me it was a misquito......which it was not. Despite only staying two of the five nights, both Amazing Colossal and Expedia are refusing to refund the remainder. This was not just a disappointing experience—it was a health and safety risk, and the FALSE advertising was blatantly deceptive. I am escalating this to my credit card company and warning others to stay far away from this property and these companies. This was far from luxury—it was a total scam. I have many videos and photos and the safe....it was broken and removable from the wall......

The space allowed us to feel at home whilst away. Great set up and the view is breathtaking. Fabulous that there was a shower room and bathroom to suit all of us, with a bonus of a washing machine which never had before. So comfortable and could have stayed there for longer. More instructions would be helpful in the binder, how to use the cooker hob, etc

The staff is very friendly and they help you in every situation A little bit to cold in rooms, but there was a conditioners, that you can use when you are at apartments. But for example in one of bathroom, there is no warming (there is radiator but it’s always cold) so it’s to cold to take a shower.

• Paris (10/5): A magical experience waking up to the colosseum - Wow, our Rome dreams came true with this stay!! The view is why we booked this apartment and the view over the colosseum was worth every penny. The staff was super friendly accomodating and the apartment is very nice. The bed is really comfy the sitting room has enormous comfy couches and netflix. The bathroom is modern and the kitchen has everything. The palazzo is easy to get to with the metro just under it and lots to discover in the area. Though its off a busy road the room is very quiet at night. There is also a cafè just under the palazzo where to get coffee in the morning. The view is really unparalleled, it seems be the closest building to the colosseum with the sunsetting behind it (in november). It was magical!

• Jessica (6/5): Great location - Fantastic location, the view from the apartment was incredible and it was easy to walk to places from the location. The bedrooms were lovely and had everything we needed. We had cold water for two days and an issue with the toilet constantly running water which was an issue at night due to the noise. The host was responsive and someone came round to investigate the issue but it wasn't fixed during our stay, which made it less comfortable during our stay.
• Araceli (3/5): Uncomfortable check in process for a noisy and unclean space. - Location The check in process was cumbersome and unnecessarily difficult. There were no accommodations for guests and when I arrived an unidentified woman was asking for my credit card information and taking pictures of all of my documents. She, very instantly, demanded that the forms she had with her be filled out and kept a photo of my personal information on her personal cellular device. The location is noisy based on the constant amount of people nearby. It was difficult to get sleep. Also the shower was too small to accommodate a proper shower and had rust near the bottom. The hallway AC would not work and was incredibly hot as soon as you entered the unit. The bed was too firm and the floors felt unclean. There were a lot of issues with my stay.
• Michael (10/5): If you’re looking for a Colosseum view at a reasonable price, this is the one! - Probably the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Apartment was clean, tidy, and had plenty of space. The view of the Colosseum was what drove us to book this place, and it did not disappoint being straight across the road. The bathroom with the shower could do with a revamp. It’s fully functional but a bit old and the shower is rather small. Also the drains need looking at as they were very slow to drain water.

Large, modern, comfortable facilities including much-needed washing machine. Restaurants downstairs. Steps from Metro and everything you need. A bit of street noise at night - even fireworks nearby, but hey, this is a major city and monument. The pluses far outweigh the minuses.

• Nick (2/5): - Arrived with two young kids on a Friday night. Great location, old but clean apartment, expensive but smooth check in, overall it looked promising. Then I ended up staying there freezing and shivering for two nights. The story is long and I suggest you check it on google as there is not enough characters allowed here. DO NOT LET THE GREAT LOCATION FOOL YOU, unless you are cool with being left frozen in the cold or hot in the summer. Also all what Expedia did was to say “ We are sorry” Nothing else and have been a gold member for years.

• Ram (10/5): Beautiful views that are worth every penny. - Location is unbeatable. We were jet lagged so got to see the Colosseum from the windows at all hours of the day without having to step out. It was also walkable to nearby eateries and close to a church with Michael Angelo sculpture. No complaints. It would be nice to add indoor blinds on the windows - I know that takes from the aesthetics of the picture frame window but easier than reaching out and trying to close shutters.

• Michael (6/5): Had credit card fraud from staff at the property - Great view and location Very old building. AC didn’t work most the time. Elevator was extremely small to bring luggage up
• Shanna (10/5): - Perfect Location when traveling to Rome. The most amazing views of the Colosseum. The hosts were also amazing, very friendly, arranged transportation and provided great spots to eat, travel guides, etc. would definitely recommend!!!

• Brooke (8/5): Very good - let’s be honest, you cannot beat the view from your room. was very clean and we would stay here again. while booking a room it was important for us to be able to leave our luggage somewhere the next day during checkout, upon contacting amazing colosseum they told us it would be fine to leave it in our room until 13:00 as we had a tour at 7am for the Vatican. upon checking in we were told this wasn’t true as they had someone checking in at 12:30 (i still had the messages to show as proof).
• Marlon (9/5): Friendly and helpful property management company, amazing location opposite the Colosseum ,spacious apartment. Great for - location , location, location They should get a few more items for kitchen like toaster , coffee machine and a few more utensils. They should also consider double glazing to dampen the city sounds a little.

• May (10/5): Exceptional - the location and how clean it was.. Giuseppe contacted us immediately after we booked the room to check if we would like to have a taxi from the airport.. the check in process was fast .. but the checkout is the best 😍 Giuseppe also was so kind to give us some suggestions of places to visit and he marked them on the map. also gave us some names of restaurants. the bellows were not comfortable but overall we enjoyed it
