Guest Reviews
- Jessica (10/5): Stayed in room 10, bed was comfortable, room was very clean and spacious would stay again can’t fault anything with this - Everything, the owners was very down to earth and very helpful. Nothing.
- Dewayne (10/5): Stayed in room 1 was exceptionally clean not what was said in a previous review, couldn’t fault anything very comfortabl - Owners were very friendly and helpful nothing was ever to much to ask for. Nothing everything was perfect.
- Caroline (8/5): Lovely place, nice and clean would stay again - Lovely little hotel, amazing staff, moved their car so we could park ours right outside, lovely and friendly There was no WiFi there was a password on my daughters room door but it didn’t work, apart from that everything else was great
- Adam (1/5): Awful area, unclean property, will not stay here again or recommend. - Friendly staff Unclean, decor was way outdated, dirty cups, dirty skirting boards, dirty window ledges, outdated bathroom, strong smell of cigarette smoke within the property, could hear the owners very loudly in their home downstairs.
- Robert (2/5): Last Min Weekend Blackpool Solo Stay - Location wise was exactly where i wanted + Check In Time Slot + Decent Newish Ensuite. But Thats Literally All Thats Good To Say! TV Wasnt Working (told staff nothing done!) Cold Drafty Noisey Window That Wouldnt Close Properly + No radiator/heating so was very cold. Hard Uncomfy Tired Old Single Bed With No Headboard (just worn away wallpaper!!) Paper thin Walls Had Next Doors TV blasting through the wall All Night + Staff Let Other Guests Be As Noisey As They Want Slamming Doors/Shouting Etc (Hen/Birthday Party + Next Door As Mentioned) Needless to say Not Happy One Bit As I mentioned All This To The Lad Takeing The bookings Etc in 1 ear + Out the other!! I stayed in the single bed Ensuite room (NO PICS ON SITE) ill add some on review so you no in advance what your getting as dont expect anything fixed or helped once your there and they have your money. Put me off staying again which is unforunate.

- carol (10/5): Fab location happy with my room - Pleasant near to everything had my 3rd stay here Only thing is no lift and no one offered to help with my heavy case was on top floor this is my only fault
- Sylvia (9/5): The Benson. - The bed was so comfy. A bar would have been nice, but we understand the owners have been ill.
- Raquel (10/5): Cleaned and friendly hotel - Everything was clean, and the people working there were nice and friendly. The shower was broken and the water was coming from the side, but it was repaired a few hours later, when we came back.
- Mandie (8/5): Lovely little place / friendly owners . In a good location , nice quiet street - Nice and clean , bed was comfy - great location Very small
- Louise (10/5): - It was nice and clean the bed was nice and comfortable the staff are friendly Nothing

- Ian (10/5): Quiet, comfy and welcoming - This place is amazing. It’s in a quiet location which is close to transport, food and alcohol if you want to go for a drink. The room was gorgeous and clean and the bed was comfortable, there’s also plenty of tv channels if you just want to relax for a bit after a busy day. The staff were welcoming, approachable and let us know if anything was needed to just let them know. It was just myself and my daughter she thought it was a beautiful place to stay and made sure to let me know that she wants to stay again.
Thank you for making our stay wonderful.
- Jason (10/5): - The hostess, Christine, and her sons are really welcoming and cant do enough for you. Room was excellent. Thouroughly enjoyed stay and would highly recommend
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- kay (4/5): - Room had not been cleaned too many beds crsmed into a small area no chair to sit down nowhere to put your lugage windows that would not close as the hinges were broken
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Everything No breakfast but it was explained to us why and we all understand the reason for it
- Peter (10/5): The owners was friendly when we arrived, every thing we need was right there - It was clean and tired
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Hotel in Great location not too far from amenities
- Tracy (5/5): We had a good stay and the owner and her son went above and beyond to be helpful to us.so for this reason I would stay a - The owner and her son was absolutely lovely. Even moved their car so we could park ours. Repeatedly as we was in and out. The bed was uncomfortable and there was no breakfast and no bar. Although the owner Christine is now having to care for her husband as he’s had a major stroke. Absolutely heartbreaking
- Nicolle (10/5): Exceptional - Took me and my son in last minute they were very helpful definitely be back
- Adrian (5/5): Hotel stay cut short due freezing room - The staff were friendly and welcoming staff. The bed were Comfy and the room was clean The room was small, cramped, and outdated. There was barely enough space to move around, especially with two people getting ready at the same time. Additionally, the lack of soundproofing meant we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms and downstairs. The room was freezing cold, as the weather outside was poor, with strong winds and heavy rainfall. We noticed a gap in the framework that allowed cold air to enter. As a result, we decided to leave after just one night due to the bad weather. Overall, the hotel is in need of major refurbishment.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -

- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - Well sheets wasn't changed on my long stay. Only twice. Stay no were to be seen only on check in toilet took a while to flush away. Bed was comfy I had the same room as last year for same price think a double bed was just placed in same room. For the money not good and no lift. For a man of my age lugging me case up stairs again not No lift. And staff not always around.
- Samantha (8/5): Was ok but dont think will return was no room too cramped and wouldnt say ut caterd for a fanily - Close to beech
Comfy beds
Lovly shower room No side tables/cupbards/draws so livid out of oht bags for two nights, very tight and close for a family room of 5 felt was no space, was all ontop of each other, no brekafast although they did serve breakfast but our room didnt qualify after paying £300 for two nights! and no wifi worked ethier and t.v was very very small, only got given 1 cup to share between 5 of us and small little portable kettle which would fill one cup! Al only had two sachets coffee two milk when again was a family of 5, and if wanted it refilling was a charge of £2
- David (10/5): Exceptional - A very nice welcome from Christine/Trevor was very friendly such a lovely atmosphere and decor the room was very nice very comfortable bed Nothing to complain about
- Fran (9/5): Superb -
- Jeanette (7/5): Good - The room was clean and the beds were comfy the bathroom was newly decorated. The room was too small for a family room and it was three floors up and no lift so we had to carry suitcases up three flights of stairs.
There was no breakfast included and there was a bar but it wasn't in use
- Lauraceehandsy (8/5): Great stay - Lady who runs the benson is lovely she also let us check in early, bedrooms are good shower and bathroom good. We booked a small double for two adults bed was snug for us that was our own doing but mattress was too soft could feel the slats.
- Charlotte (10/5): Absolutely lovely place to stay, with lovely people. Very welcoming and friendly. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else now - Very welcoming and home from home, lovely place to stay with lovely people There’s nothing we didn’t like about the property

- Darren (9/5): Superb - The friendly hospitality and accommodating attitude of the the hosts was above and beyond. Everything asked for was delivered, very unique '⭐ as it was raining the the outdoor porch was a welcome shelter from the elements for smokers, the only hotel offering this facility on the road as i noticed when others had to brolly.up. Quality place quality people. Nothing to mention
- T (5/5): Cheap and cheerful - The hosts were really nice, friendly and attentive. The room was very small for a double. Room 10. The window handle was broken, it wouldn't close. Unfortunately we had a storm so the wind was blowing through, also allowing sand in making the window area and bedside table dirty. It was NYE so wasn't going to wake them at 1245 because they have children. We reported in the morning. The young man apologised. We fixed the blind on arrival. The bed side drawers hadn't been cleaned inside. More attention to detail cleaning is needed but the shower and toilet were clean.. End of the day we paid £60 per night for 2 nights so didnt expect too much but couldve been a little better. Im sure other rooms are probably bigger. The hosts were lovely and we had a great weekend.

- Colin (5/5): Dissapointed - Hotel was fine for the money Blackpool is disgusting totally run down, I don't think I'll ever go again, move 100 yards from dissapointing sea front and the place is a total hovel

- Carol (8/5): Thanks Christine and her Hubby for making us so welcome. Very enjoyable. - Breakfast was really tasty, we thoroughly enjoyed and the location was perfect for seeing attractions. Nice bedroom, comfy bed. We loved the dining room, really Jazzy and very clean. Good colour scheme and modern. Christine was an absolute lovely lady, very pleasant and hard working. She runs a really lovely B&B. Nothing not to like.
- Chloe (3/5): Never stay again, rude, two faced and refused breakfast! - It was a nice room on first glance Was not happy we saw serval people leave reviews about breakfast and other guest was offered, we wasn’t offered but of the morning when we asked about breakfast as it was laid downstairs for other guests we was told what do you think this is a cafe ?! Felt like as we was there for a festival we was taken advantage of £180 for the smallest room in the property for 3 girls, pillow cases had stains on , the mattress had stains, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived and was covered in limescale ! Wasn’t made welcome but other guests was ! Won’t be staying again !! There’s a lovely hotel across the road and next door, I would avoid again of stay when the rooms are very cheap as £180 for 2 nights 3 girls is ridiculous for what it is!!
Just saw response feel free to call etc to talk about this as your clearly lying if I could upload photos I would ! The same man who carried the cases upstairs that could talk ,who checked us in then came to fetch the lady outside that man.who my 60 year old auntie asked I doubt she would lie! Not only this it was her pillow cases there was stains, you can say it wasn’t the case however I have no need to lie the phone was placed on charged so that the bill could be paid for our room ! It wasn’t as if we couldn’t charge it in the room it was the fact you needed us to pay beforehand.I also failed to mention about the out of date milk 30.03.22 on the milk and we requested more milk and still only 2 was in date Or did this no happen either ?You clearly stated to us when you came in that “that thing”was not my husband so you know the other guy but I guess this is where you play dumb and thanks fine, but treat everyone equal don’t see us as party animals and treat us differently you pulled a face about making breakfast saying it’s something you do but you didn’t want to so when you also stated it was £5 per breakfasts, why was we told it’s not a cafe? *All who stays please check milk, bedding and mattresses and hygiene of the bathroom*
- Funso (7/5): Good -
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional - Owners were very nice and welcoming
Family room was pleasant and beds were comfortable.
- Joseph (8/5): Cheap and Cheerful - All I needed was a bed, shower, somewhere to keep my bag and be within walking distance of Winter Gardens. This place ticked all the boxes. All I cared about was that room/en suite was clean and it was.
Nice place with friendly owners it is ideal if you're planning to be out all day just need somewhere to lay your head.
Thanks guys. If I come back again will be looking you up.
