Guest Reviews
- Angela (10/5): - The room was good and the resort was friendly.
- kurt (10/5): Great stay - Always a great room love the area room was clean great atmosphere but could be more parking for sure
- John (10/5): - Older hotel. Very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Beautiful spot.
- Samantha (10/5): Wonderful winter stay - Place was clean. Staff was great. Bed was comfy. Access to the lake for skating was right there. My family loved it
- Joseph (6/5): Room could use some improvements - The best part was that my husband was able to skate on the lake, which is what we were there for. The room was not great for a few reason. They had a refrigerator, but no microwave, which would have come in handy because we were there when the restaurant was not open and many of the local ones were closed. We had to grab subs, pizza and it would have helped to be able to heat them up. There was only one chair in the room. No table or desk. So, no table to eat on and no desk to work on. And only one chair so one person had to always sit on the bed. If they had a small table and 2 chairs it would have made all the difference, although the room is kind of small. It was nice to have a Lakeview room to watch the skaters. No one told us that the room wouldn't be cleaned at all. That's really wasn't a problem, but they should have come around with clean towels and empty the garbage at the very least. We didn't see anybody.
- Jeannie (10/5): - We stayed at the Lake Morey Resort primarily for the groomed ice trails on Lake Morey, which didn't disappoint! We skated both days we were there, and after a heavy snow the first night the trail was being freshly groomed again for skating! The restaurant was fantastic and we enjoyed a live band in the Steamboat Bar....no reason to leave the Resort. Everything you need is right there! Decor is very nice and rooms were large and spacious.
- matthewcJ7802TC (10/5): Excellent stay - Fantastic stay at the Lake Morey Resort. From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff made us feel like family and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time there.
The rooms highlighted an incredible view overlooking the beautiful lake Morey.
The food can only be described as delicious.
Cannot speak highly enough about the experience staying here and hope to make it back soon!
- robert (4/5): - Staff was rude except for an excellent waiter and Missy in housekeeping was extremely helpful when we changed rooms to one that didn’t have dust all over nor mold in ice bucket
- Kristy (8/5): - Beautiful property right on the lake. Romantic white lit trees with hanging lanterns. Staff friendly, rooms and common areas kept clean. Would absolutely stay again if in the area.
- Sai (4/5): - Room was very average and outdated. Bad fridge, bad pillows, dirty furniture, trash not taken out.
- Lizette (10/5): - The views during fall season are stunning! Property has plenty of amenities and things to do. Friendly staff. Totally recommended
- Lisa (10/5): - Everything was good. Showing signs of age on carpets and furniture. But other than that no complaints. Stuff very helpful and nice.
- joi (8/5): - Alot of nice little areas just to relax
- Momto3boyz (8/5): Read then do your research - A bit outdated. The floors are almost “roller coaster” like. I could practically skate board in my room. The carpeting thru out was newer. They had a band in the lounge which was fantastic. We danced, everyone danced. Very fun.
There was a storm the first night knocking out power to some rooms -mine-! Since we had an elderly person with us and medications they needed refrigeration we asked often for updates. The first young man Donald offered nothing. No updates and he seemed very uncaring and certainly NO hospitality! It was getting late and needed to get out family member to bed. It’s August! There was a need for air conditioning too. The front desk clerk told me he could do nothing and my problem. At that point I was really not pleased. Finally a person came out from the back Terese, she helped us to change to a room with power offered help moving our stuff. Why or why did it take hours to get real help!!!!!!
There was a morning breakfast. A buffet. We didn’t know the are so it was the best option. All the basic breakfast foods . The food was fine not good. It was barely warm. Clumpy oatmeal, the eggs were dry but edible. The coffee was weak. The carpeting in the dining area needed vacuuming.
The lake activities were nice, the lake beautiful. You can take out kayaks and paddle boards. We were treated to a bald eagle flying over head.
Breaking for 4 was $87. The room was $800 for 2 nights.
Do your research and decide if that’s worth it.
- Michelle (10/5): - The concert on the golf course was amazing! And the gardens were beautiful!
- Clare (10/5): - Lovely hotel, friendly, lots to do.
- Glenda (10/5): - Can’t wait to come back to this resort! The rooms are a tad run down, however, still cozy and had such a good night sleep. Has all the amenities you need and the views are breathtaking. Book it!
- Nuoqian (10/5): - Me and my cousin stayed 2 nights here over July.4th weekend, it's a beautiful place, golf course in the front and the lake in the back. The building is old but you can tell they put a lot of money into the renovation. we had a lake-view room with two queen beds, the room was big and very clean. the water activities include kayak, canoeing, and paddleboarding and you can swim in the lake, it's very safe for anybody including kids. The service was excellent, people were nice and friendly here. the breakfast buffet was $15-20 per person, can't remember exactly how much I paid :P, the food was not very surprising, but at a "well" level. Overall it's a good place for a 2-3 days family trip and we will come back in the future.
- Helen (8/5): - .
- Julie (10/5): - Lake view, large room with two beds and a great living space.
We are excited to have found this place and want to book a summer and winter trip here!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was a beautiful hotel. The view of the lake was amazing. The breakfast buffet was definitely worth it. The heated pool was not very warm. There were no recycle bins in guest room or anywhere else that were visible.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lake Morey - Live music on big nights, tons of board games on offer and summer ammenities and small golf course, fire pit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful place, friendly staff, huge super clean room, great restaurant
- Bella (10/5): - I had a great time staying at Lake Morey with my mom. They've got nice rooms, with the most stunning view of the lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating! The night we stayed they had a local musician playing, which was completely free to watch, and it looks like they hold tons of fun events and activities year round. I would absolutely plan another trip here.
- Alia (10/5): - Was there for a work related conference.
- abbategocubs (10/5): Fabulous Easter Brunch! - We had a fabulous Easter Brunch Buffet at Lake Morey Resort yesterday! Extensive options for breakfast and lunch and desserts. Wow! The decorations and view were lovely and the service was great! So yummy! It was $55 for adults INCLUDING all taxes, fees and tip. I'm already salivating over Mother's Day Brunch there.
- William (10/5): - Great place. Look forward to coming back t play golf.
- Marina (6/5): - Amazing ice skating and lake views . The facility is older. The restaurant has one large TV and one small TV for those who are not into lake views )
- Dara (10/5): - Fun!
- nicosamneil (10/5): Lake morey resort - We came here for a conference. They do have 4 rooms to host. They have skating shoes for rent, and food served where delicious! Ample parking space and I could see there were plenty of rooms to avail of. Looks like a lot of people come here to skate during the winter
- Tonya (10/5): - This property is absolutely gorgeous. The golf course and the Mountain View is breathe taking.
- Julie (4/5): - it was like a ghost town
- Sam (10/5): - Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view of the lake! And a delicious breakfast buffet with pleasant staff
- Peti (10/5): - .
- Elisabeth (10/5): - Absolutely gorgeous lake that you can walk all around the trail or just likes to ride around the lake... Had no idea it was this beautiful area, such a surprise
- Tanya (10/5): Family Time - Our stay was perfect. The location is great.
- KI SEOK (10/5): - Beutiful lake view
- Aarone Andrew (10/5): - We love the lake so relaxing and calm.
- arkady (10/5): - Balcony overlooking the lake is the best. The room is very spacious and comfortable
- annekabjorkeson (8/5): Overall a nice place to getaway - Great stay! Decent rates, nice breakfast buffet, beautiful lake, nice golf course & attended a lovely wedding. Rooms could’ve been cleaner is my only feedback. Free bike rentals was a nice touch (although they are single speed)… a ride around the lake was the perfect morning activity!
- Glen (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the Inn. Doing things around the property were easy and effortless. We had a great time and will be back soon!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our third stay and always a pleasure to visit. Looking forward to the next!
- Kelly (10/5): - The staff were lovely. The place is a bit outdated but being right on the lake with multiple things to do was fantastic! Especially the waterskiing and tubing! My kids definitely want to go back. The only thing that was not great was the food for dinner at the lakeside dining room. Otherwise the food at the country club despite being basic was good.
- Peter (4/5): - Remove the rugs, improve ventilation/lighting and update this property please. The Denslow cottages are probably the play. Staff is very nice but the inside is extremely dated particularly the business area on the first floor. Would be a gold mine.
- skilakimou (10/5): A lovely old fashioned place to have a holiday and a swim - Every few (this time 5) years we have a family reunion here. Lovely spot. Vermonters are so lovely. So friendly and chatty. The lake (Morey) is divine. Never crowded. A few motor boats but very little noise. Great to paddle board or kayak on. Fun activities at the resort (fireworks, quiz night, free music, etc) for guests and locals. Just charming.
Delicious lunches in the grill.
Wapanachee is a lovely large house to stay in.
- lorinee2023 (4/5): Ehhh.... - The rooms were ok, spacious and clean. The food was the worst food that I have ever had out at a restaurant. The staff was basically non-existent. Coffee was no-where to be found. Jack, our boat tour guide, was amazing. That was the best part of our trip! Very expensive for what we got out of it!
- DCDugan (8/5): Family friendly, fun & amazing ice skating! - My daughter and I visited the resort to enjoy some lake ice skating. We were pleasantly surprised by all the extras at the resort. The expansive great room is relaxing, fun and family friendly with many games, seating areas, and a beautiful view of the lake. A live band played in the evening we stayed. The resort has lots of charm with a casual feel and we felt right at home. We look forward to returning!
- Samantha (10/5): - Very clean. Friendly employees. Great amenities!
- WalterW816 (4/5): Beautiful lakefront, don’t go inside. - 4 couples booked rooms for a weekend stay to attend a nearby wedding. Here’s a brief summary of the issues. The rooms were all old and in need of a deep cleaning. Mattresses uncomfortable and pillows awful. Tried to log into Wi-Fi the first evening and were unable (little wheel just kept spinning). So we called the front desk and were told “I’ll check the routers but it’s probably just too many people trying to login”. The next morning tried to take a shower. We let the water run in the shower and sink for way too long and it never even got tepid. Remained ice cold. After breakfast, which was mediocre at best, we went to the front desk to mention the Wi-Fi and cold water. We were told we must have been doing it wrong! Curious that all of us separately were doing it wrong. By then we were able to login (same way as we tried the night before). They said they would send someone to check on the hot water and by the time we got back to the room it was working. Later that afternoon thought it might be nice to have a bath. The tub apparently is for catching shower water only. No tub spigot and no way to stopper the drain. Final straw, the next morning thought we would turn on the TV to look at the Sunday morning news shows. While the TV came on, there were no channels. Tried everything. The remote did turn the set on and off but nothing else was visible. (Yes, tried changing inputs and everything else).
As we checked out, we mentioned all of this to the desk person who either had heard this all before or just didn’t care.
And as others have said the air conditioning was very very noisy, had to turn it off and you can easily hear anyone walking by out side the door or even from the floor above.
The lake front is lovely.
We did get and complete an after stay survey. Wrote all of this. Asked to be contacted by management. Still nothing.
- Brianna (10/5): - Beautiful resort
- P6384RDmaryp (2/5): Terrible business! - Our company (my boyfriend & I, who are co-owners of a small family cleaning service) Mother Mary's Chambermaids, was contracted to clean WOMPANACHE portion of the Lake Morey Resort. Steven and I met the general manager, Mark Avery, the head of housekeeping, Wendy ?, and discussed the details and terms of the contract. Our company does verbal contracts, we have extreme flexibility, and 95% customer satisfaction raing. We pride ourselves on our work ethic, communication skills, and overall positive outlook. We arrived to do the job discussed, and were greeted with attitude and an hour & 15 minute personal inventory of Wendy's personal life and health conditions. Steven was made to feel uncomfortable the entire day. I was treated as if I didn't exist; she spoke to Steven only. Wendy was supposed to "check in" around 1:30/2, she said "I'll come back around 3" and at 3:45 Wendy paraded the entire female housekeeping staff at Wampanache building. The ladies came over and made Steven feel immediately uncomfortable, and stood in different parts of the house, ogling him, while Wendy "critiqued" our work. Steven offered to bring thr cart over while I walked Wendy through the house.. she wad VERY persistent to show Steven the linen closet by herself! We were told stories about a child that was murdered in the house, local businesses that had alcohol fueled parties where people ended up getting hurt, and many other horror stories about the resort and staff. Upon being chased out of the driveway by Wendy screaming "Steve!", (after telling her 4x that we had another appointment we had to get to). That night Steven and I decided we did not feel comfortable returning to the job. We asked Wendy, which was our only contact, for Mark's last name, and contact information since all we were provided was Wendy's personal cell phone number. Wendy replied that she would pass the message along, and provided no information for us. With no other options, after calling the resort and asking for Mark, being told that he does not work there, we took the 45 min drive once again to seek condensation for services rendered. When we arrived we were informed Mark was out of the country. Steven left a very professional brief message explaining our disappointment with the treatment we received from the staff (particularly Wendy) and asked Mark to personally return a phone call when he arrived back from vacation. Monday morning, the day after he returned, we received a message from Wendy herself, asking where to send the check! When Steven and I took another 45 min drive to the resort, Mark greeted us at the front desk and exclaimed "you never sent me an invoice. So I didn't know what to pay you." Steven responded with "I left you a detailed message why we wouldn't be returning to work" exclaiming why I would like to speak with you personally, and very explicit details and spelling of who to make the check out to and how much. Mark's reply was "I don't listen to voice mails". Steven said "well, that's professional." Told Mark the amount, collected the check and left the premises immediately. Feeling VERY uncomfortable the entire time!
- Simona Ileana (10/5): - My family loved everything about this hotel. We loved all the activities on the frozen lake, the movie, the pool, the free coffee, easy parking.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff warm and friendly….
- Jennifer (10/5): - Most amazing time! Great food, drinks and stay!! Extremely friendly staff! Can't wait to stay again!!!!!
- Kelley (8/5): - Spectacular view
- Paul (10/5): Great place for a gathering of friends - Lake Morey Inn is amazing. The lakeside balcony in our room afforded spectacular views of the lake in the early morning and evening. The staff is great too. We had a group of college friends come stay for Dartmouth Homecoming weekend and the events coordinator helped me organize some fun activities. The breakfast is amazing too.
- KATHERINE (4/5): Was just ok to me - Our stay was ok, I was kind of disappointed that it looked so old . The rooms were clean so that was a plus. I was really unhappy that we couldn't find anyplace at the hotel or off site to get something to eat. We got there after lunch and were really hungry. They did send us to the golf pros lunch room but it just wasn't comfortable. The people were all pleasant. I paid 380.00 for overnight and we didn't even get breakfast. We had to pay 16.00 per place. I just think that's ridiculous most places give their guests continental breakfast as a thank you for staying with them but these people are like out for all they money they can get. As I said it was ok, a place to rest your head but that was about it.
- Mark (10/5): - beautiful scenic spot
- cynthia (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay... very clean place ...
Pros: clean, comfortable bed,
Cons: room was dark, difficult to brighten up; small outdated TV
Breakfast buffet great, dinner menu limited, food just ok
- josehQ7223FB (4/5): Stay was just ok - I went there for business but stayed for an extra day with spouse.
Not what I expected for a resort. The hotel needs to be updated. There were cobwebs in the first room, and the second night stay, different room, was a bad experience for us, the king size mattress was hard and the sheets were rough. When I brought this up during checkout, the person who checked me out said something like: this is the first time I'm hearing that.
The chicken lunch did not have much taste and was a waste of money. There are other things I was not happy with, but will stick with the basics.
Overall, overpriced and not the experience I was hoping.
- Andrew (10/5): - I would rate the resort a 4 star, the room was comfortable, clean, quiet, elevator access was a problem, long ways away, dining excellent, staff very friendly, golf course staff was great, had fun will return.
- Kathryn (10/5): - Beautiful lake, comfortable rooms, plenty of kayaks/canoes/SUPs, friendly staff and wonderful dinner menu. I don't golf (and don't like the environmental impact of golf courses) but the golfers present seemed very happy.
Right off I-91, but highway noise not a problem. Loons calling every morning!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Expensive and disappointing - Hotel is in a beautiful setting but the interior is incredibly dated. No drinking water in the rooms or in the vending machines. Although the service at dinner was slow, the wait staff were very friendly and food was ok.
- Venture41215726962 (10/5): Great family resort! - Wonderful resort to spend the time with the family, we visited both winter and summer and we loved it. Ice skating in winter was great, our summer visit was great too-it has the beach, there was some music performance at night during summer, movie theater, water activities. My kids can’t wait to go back in August! My only complain is there are limited dining options even though the resort has the restaurant.
- keithmA7801UZ (6/5): Overpriced! - We went for one night to attend a wedding in June. It's an old motel, but it is what it is. The room A/C was noisy, small closet, no mirror in the room (only mirror in bathroom), mold in shower, rust on sink drain, and you will hear people walking by your door in the hallway. Bed was comfortable. We felt the room was very overpriced considering the quality of the accommodations. The food catered for the wedding was quite good. We did not try the restaurant.
- Arihanna (10/5): - Staff was helpful, was there for a wedding and it was a great time.
- Marshall (10/5): - Very quiet and convenient.
- stan (10/5): - Really great location on Lake Morey. The resort has a really cool retro feel. The staff was very helpful and nice.
- catherinedS1221PJ (6/5): View only good - For a "resort" it is not what you expect. The hotel staff, do not wear "uniform" shirts so you don't know who is working front desk for is a guest. The dining room is in the "basement". But this helps in the summer time when you can sit outside. The rooms are not as you would expect. We had the "lakeview deluxe" - only thing that makes this a "deluxe" is the view. The room itself is small. Small fridge but no microwave and NO coffee machine. They do not have coffee out in the lobby in the morning, you have to go downstairs. You are paying the steep price for the view.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Love the cotton sheets windows that open complementary sports equipment
- Jessica (10/5): Awesome hotel - Great hotel and wonderful staff the hotel is located right on the lake. Staff was super helpful with us renting skates, room was very clean with a lake view. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks for everything!!
- juggsmcgee (8/5): Great time! - Went for a few days during Feb vaca. Loved it! Skating on the lake is so cool. The place is nice. I do wish that they had microwaves in the room though.
They have board games at the front desk that you can borrow.
The pool isn't very big and honestly was a tad disappointing.
The food at the restaurant was good and there was one waitress named Michelle that was phenomenal! She was super friendly and attentive.
I think the rooms are overpriced but I also think everywhere is lol.
Overall, it was great and we'll be probably be back!
- Voyage785356 (10/5): A great stay at Lake Morey Resort - Our family had our second wonderful trip to Lake Morey Resort. I was hesitant while booking as our trip last February was during high Covid restrictions and thought it was a bright spot in a hard year. I couldn't have been more wrong. When we walked into the lobby families and friends were gathered in the lounge and front entry of the hotel. Our lakeside room was clean and spacious. The small deck looked over frozen lake Morey cleared after a recent snowfall with 4 hockey play areas (normally 12) and 2 skating paths of which the larger was about a half mile loop. Unfortunately we missed out on the larger loop around the entire lake because of two recent warmups of near 50 degrees.
Our kids enjoyed a movie in the theater in the resort one night and we all skated during the day with skate rentals included with the stay. There were also snowshoes, cross country skies and sleds available to use around the lake or the snow covered greens of the country club. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the resort and breakfast sandwiches at the county club which I ordered online and picked up to have an lazy breakfast in or room. One morning we went to the Fairlee Diner for breakfast which was amazing. This is not a new resort, but has been updated thought the years keeping the charm of traditional Vermont vacationing. My wife and I loved walked the hallways seeing the historic photos and the continued tradition of a family resort. Our biggest question is what is this resort like the summer and I think we will find out this summer. Thank you Lake Morey Resort for a great stay.
- Deborah (10/5): - So great for families and for winter fun!
- 73elv (2/5): If you like the Titanic, you'll like the Lake Morey Resort.. - First impression on checking in - DARK, OUTDATED and HAUNTED. The supposedly "updated" room had two beds which were highly irregular. My wife, all of 5'5", had to sleep diagonally to prevent her legs from hanging off the end of the bed. Not sure what size these beds were - maybe they were salvaged from an RV? The large spiders that hung about the windows at night were certainly a gift. What would it take fo the staff to clean the outside of the building. Honestly, we are surprised this place is still operating. Granted, the location is picturesque and the golf course decent, but the accommodations themselves leave a lot to be desired. By the way, there is no beachfront here and the indoor pool looked disgusting along with its surrounding deck. Overall, the resort suffers from poor staffing and poor maintenance. This leftover from the 70s should be avoided. Spend your money elsewhere.
- Emilie (10/5): - Our room had a fantastic view on the lake and being able to skate on the lake was an excellent experience.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Mixed feelings about tbe resort - Service and staff was great. The setting is beautiful and the lake make it very attractive. However the rooms are below average, they need an urgent update, soft bed with Paris like size bathroom in Vermont. Certainly not worth the price, especially not in October
Breakfast was below average
No coffee in the rooms.
- SandraMarie (6/5): Good hotel. Nice amenities. - Stayed in East Wing. Room in need of updating. Hotel grounds and lake were very nice. Enjoyed the pontoon boat ride taken at the resort
- pace_ripley (8/5): Very good; could be excellent with a bit of renewal - The property's location is stunning: Lake Morey is picturesque, perfect for swimming, kayaking and all manner of water activities - most of which are included at no extra cost. The staff is very nice - from the front desk through the team working on the lake beach. WiFi is strong and as a family traveler - there was something for everyone. Air conditioning worked great despite hot temperatures.
The rooms are very spacious, but in reality are the main reason why this is not a 5-circle review: the bath/shower at a property charging these prices should not be the motel 6-grade plastic one-piece; the bathroom should not be as dark; and there should be a fridge in every room - some apparently do but ours did not.
On-premises food options are limited and are mediocre. The Fairlee Diner and Samurai Soul Food offer nearby options that are drastically superior to what's on offer. Be aware that garden rooms face the parking lot; worth going to for the lakeview rooms.
Despite the shortcomings, we look forward to returning. It's just that beautiful!
- twosoups (8/5): Relaxing stay. - Apologies if this review runs long. Recently stayed in a Lakeview terrace room for a few days. The room (and bathroom) was spacious, clean and had a lovely porch where we spent time relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake. Would have been nice to have two chaise lounges rather than one and a chair. The eaves (on our porch and around the property) needed to be swept to remove webs which is a typical trait of a lakeside property.
I understand the policy of no daily housekeeping. Probably due to staffing or COVID restrictions. In fact, I'm okay with not having the daily interruption. You can request fresh supplies (towels and/or toiletries) by calling the front desk.
The lakefront is nice and kept clean. The lake is relatively shallow making it good for families with kids. Free amenities like usage of bikes, canoes, kayaks and paddle boards as well as pool cues and ping pong paddles is nice. Small fees for staff to take you out on the motorboat or the pontoon boat.
A breakfast buffet is served in the dining room. Typical offerings - eggs, meats, cereal, fruit, pastries. A good diner is not far from the resort which offers a more varied menu. Coffee / tea is offered in the lobby each morning. Lunch is available at the golf course club house across the parking lot. Options are limited and expensive but can be ordered to go. If you get a room with a refrigerator, there is a small grocery store nearby where you could pick up food / supplies. Dinner is served in the dining room. Reservations required. After two nights of eating there, we needed a change from the menu and found two good options up the road in Bradford. Service was good - Lori D. took good care of us each time we dined there.
Indoor pool was clean and a nice option to the lake.
Generally enjoyed our stay. In fact, we will likely be back for winter activities. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The property is well landscaped, however, some preventive maintenance (web removal) would enhance the environment. Guests ranged from families with children and teens to older / retired couples, like us. Many seemed to be returning guests. I understand why - it's a nice resort in a beautiful location. Recommend a stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place great stuff just great
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lake Morey is fabulous.
- pearl33814 (10/5): The place to go... - For relaxation - what's better than sitting by the lake and holding a book?; clean, comfortable rooms; an attentive, efficient staff; lovely gardens and floral planters; a well-maintained golf course; inviting public area; and good food served outside, weather permitting or in the lakeside dining room.
It's our resort of choice as guests of many years - and hopefully, many years to come.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fabulous location on Lake Morey -- beautiful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a nice and relaxing area.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The experience was not up to expectations for a resort of this price and location. No refrigerator or coffee maker in the room. Staff appeared to be rather “meh” to be working there.
- Lourdes (10/5): Pristine waters - It was a beautiful place but the restaurant menu is very limited. The food is average and ver pricey. Everything else was good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great family vacation spot!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff was fantastic . The hotel is old but charming . The view is amazing ❤️
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It is always a pleasure to go to Vermont. In general, Lake Morey Resort is a fun place for the family. I would have appreciated being able to skate at night. The cross-country skiing and skating equipment was good and the people who manage that part of the facility and great.
- Kim (10/5): - I love the beauty of the resort. Especially during the fall season.
- MattH (10/5): - It was much bigger than I thought! Old style but still nice
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I didn’t like that there was a large gathering of people in the lobby without masks on
- Dave (8/5): an OK stay - Stayed over Labor Day weekend. It was a fine experience. The location is really what makes the review as high as it was. The staff was mostly wonderful. Food service was so slow and often we were left without beverages until we were almost done eating. The rooms were fine. Clean, comfortable. Could use some updating to breath some life in it but it’s not a need.
- Richiehall (10/5): - Awesome peaceful stay. Highly recommend Staff was friendly and helpful
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was nice and okay! Somethings were nice somethings were okay.
- Cristina (8/5): Should have stayed longer! - Great spot for a quick get away. Just wish there was more info on activities.
Yoga class Saturday but didnt know until i walked past it. You can get coffee but have to go to the reaturant and ask for it. Overall nice family place quiet and beautiful views.
- KENNETH (10/5): Awesome Time - The stay was very nice. Nice terrance room. The food is very good, I just wish there was more of a selection. Overall it was great. Lot of water things to do. The staff was great that handled the water activities
