• Angela (9/5): Excellent value for money. - The hotel was excellent value for money. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were all lovely. We used room service on the first night as we arrived late and it was easy to request and the service prompt. Breakfast was great and everything was refilled regularly. Would definitely stay there again. The only downside is the location. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the main area of Sanur and about 100 metres of that was on the side of a dual carriage way which was not ideal and definately not suitable for small children or people with walking difficulties. However, if you don't mind a bit of a walk which we didn't, it's not too much of a problem.

The rooms were clean and serviced daily. The connecting rooms were larger than a standard hotel room in Australia . The staff were friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, buffet was well organised with fresh food, fruit and made to order eggs etc. The location was on a main road , very busy- but only a 14 minute walk to the waterfront, there were some good restaurants on route to waterfront. Could have used a map of local area from hotel to waterfront with directions and recommendations for food. Maps on phones are great but a paper map is always appreciated.

• Jessica (8/5): Great Hotel for the money. Not Great Location. - The hotel and staff were fantastic. It was very comfortable. We were sick when there and they recommended a doctor who was there in 15 minutes. It was good value for the money. You need a car to go anywhere. The area around is just a main road/ highway equivalent. It looks close to Icon Mall and the beach on Google Maps but there is no through road unless you wish to walk down alleyways with lots of dogs, bikes, cars and no streetlights. It did only cost $3aud for a grab to Central Sanur but can take a while in the traffic.
• Frank (10/5): Stay here !!! You will be happy with the property and the price !! - This is an excellent place to stay in Sanur !! The rooms are large and very clean. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and kind. Breakfast was fantastic and catered to many cultures. The pool was clean and there was seating around it in the sun or shade depending on your preference. All in all, we chose an EXCELLENT place to stay in Sanur !! There was nothing we didn’t like at the hotel. The location was a bit of a challenge because it is on a one way street so the drivers had to go past the hotel and do a U Turn to get back to it. This added one minute to the trip and about 20 cents to the fare - not a problem at all 🙂
• Charmaine (7/5): Bali Grand Palace - The pool was stunning. Loved that the hotel has it's own restaurant. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Went for a massage, spa was lovely. The food at the restaurant was terrible, we complained, sent food back to kitchen. They were busy with huge renovations in the main lobby, no mention of it on the website.

• Natalie (9/5): Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, ideal for families with teenages. - The rooms were nice and clean with a good size balcony. We had the “family room” with were 2 connecting rooms, which was perfect with teenage children. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. Staff were amazing. The pool was very refreshing with the ideal temperature. Location was probably not ideal if looking to be close to the beach. If you are happy to walk with using the back streets, then it’s ok.

I arrived late so was very happy to find a driver waiting for me in the arrival hall and I had a very easy transfer to the hotel. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations. The room was very large, clean and comfortable with great air conditioning. The small private terrace directly outside the room and leading out to the pool was a pleasant surprise. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The hotel is on a busy road but set back so there is no noise issue. It is very conveniently located to other amenities in the Sanur area either by foot or taxi. Not applicable

• Bob (8/5): A Great Stopover Hotel - Or wanting comfort at a Great price - I stay here for one night as I go North everytime I go to Bali. It is a very fine hotel for one night. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. The rooms are getting a little dated, but I have stayed for the last 25 trips to Bali over the last 10 years. The hotel in on the main road but I never hear traffic due to the size of the hotel

This is more of a research I could have spent more time doing but being on the main road through Sanur with such terrible footpaths made going for a walk challenging. Would definitely stay here again. - Big clean rooms, comfy clean bed, with toiletries etc. Hotel is on a main busy road but we didn't hear any of the outside traffic. Got free parking for our bike. Staff quick to rectifying issue with TV that we had and issue with toilet flush all sorted with no other issues. Very friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good nice clean dinining area and staff are very helpful making sure our vegetarian options were catered for and refilled. We enjoyed the Asian breakfast very much. Lots of fresh fruit and pastries too. The white towels were a bit old and grey looking but clean. Our room didn't include a back balcony so you may have to pay extra for that, but we didn't really need it and the hotel has lots of different areas in the lobbies to chill and most of the time you are out and about anyway. Location could be a little difficult if we weren't on a bike so easy with it. I think there is a beach shuttle we didn't need to use it.

• Kathryn (8/5): Grand Palace Sanur Exprience - The hotel staffs were really helpful and kind. The room was quiet and bed was comfortable. I love the crafting of Balinese offering on Nyepi day. Very thoughtful and also allowed me to learn more about the culture. Food and breakfast buffet was generally good and several options for vegetarians. I wish the linens and bedsheets were unscented. Tried the spa services during Nyepi but was quite disappointed as the entire 60 mins facial didn’t feel like it was worth it and was done quite half heartedly. That’s the only regret I have during this stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is modern and the rooms and gardens are impeccable. The breakfast has all tastes covered from European to British to North American to Asian. It’s all there. The pool is sparkling clean and there is both bar and food service available. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The property is a bit of a walk from all the action down at the beach.
