Claudine (8/5): - My stay was Ok. Free breakfast was good until my last morning I was told that my breakfast selection was a mistake... I think Jamaican breakfast should be serve to anyone. That was disappointing. The bathroom needed a better clean... I saw the cleaner cleaning a room... by sitting on a bed and chatting on the phone for a long time, I can see how difficult it would be to clean a place with the phone to ones ear. The initial receptionist was pleasant. Parking is close actually under the building with access to the lobby. The hotel is centrally located which makes it accessible to entertainment, restaurants, medical services and shopping. The kitchenette is good too if I needed a cup of tea I can have it, the small refrigerator is a plus too. The kitchen seems clean. Washer and dryer is perfect and a huge plus for those light travelers who didnt pack much. Overall my stay was pleasant. My recommendation is a supervisor should inspect room that is cleaned and Jamaican breakfast should be a choice.

The room was spacious, and our view from our room to look out at Kingston was beautiful. Overall, great service, but we did experience a few times where we had to wait for staff to appear at the registration and at the rooftop restaurant.

Breakfast was disappointing, lap pool only allows for one swimmer if you're inclined to use when guests are eating, however staff are excellent.

They advised us a room was ready, they gave us an upgraded 2bed 2 bath loft, and then after taking us to the room came back to get us saying it was due for maintenance. We waited a couple hours for another room still a 2 bed 2bath loft. We went out and came back in the evening during which there was a rain storm and there was a leak over the bed in the main room w the ensuite. So we ended up sharing a bed and not having 2 beds which we booked and no offer of compensation. The wifi stopped working after 1 day we had to be given a new code. Our breakfast was included it was made to order so the wait was a little bit. If in a hurry the continental option is best

Annan (10/5): Perks at R Hotel - This was our second time to stay here, and we enjoyed it overall. We had noisy neighbors late at night, which disrupted our sleep, but sometimes that happens in hotels on weekends. The buffet breakfast is very nice, up on the rooftop with a great view. Being able to do laundry in the hotel room is a perk. Thanks for the covered parking as well. This is a convenient location to many of the city sights.

HOWEVER, once I used the bath there was a dirty drain smell that lingered in the bathroom. By the time I realized this I was already halfway through repacking my suitcases and knew that a room relocation would be inconvenient. Bath towels smelt raw, but appeared clean. AC was not cold, but room was tolerable. Continental breakfast was just ok.

pinky (6/5): - The staff where friendly but I hated the set up of the hotel. You need put the key in the wall to make electricy work in your room. This means that you can't leave the room and have your phone charge or even have the washing machine running. The pool is also just a long strip of water in the middle of the lounge.
ANSEL (2/5): - Hey there! So, I checked into this hotel, and guess what? They were out of linens! I had to call them to get them, and it took about an hour to get them to me. When I finally got my linens, I noticed that the room had been was not clean for a while. It was super dusty and dirty. And get this - the closet mirror had a crack in it! Can you believe that? Now, here’s the kicker: a week later, they’re trying to charge me for this broken mirror. I even showed them that it was broken before, but they’re still trying to charge me for it. I’m honestly shocked and disappointed. I don’t think I’ll ever stay at this hotel again. Their customer service needs a major upgrade, seriously..

Highly overrated, two and a half would be closer to the truth. The only truly positive thing is the washer and dryer in the room. Helped a lot when we got soaked by the rain.
