- Vinh (8/5): Very good location and comfortable place for short stay. - Excellent location in city center with many good restaurants and cafe nearby in walking distance.
The premise and buildings are very big and accommodate large group. The reception hall is as large as a 5star hotel. There is also a large back garden, tennis court. The room is very large, so is the bed. Given the facilities and infrastructure, the hotel can be upgraded to 5-star if the services and amenities are of better quality. The beautiful swimming pool in the back yard is not operational. The facilities and amenities in the room is just at the level of a 3-star hotel, despite the large room. The mattress of the bed, the cushions and the blanket is not too comfortable, somehow old. The equipment in the toilet is also old, although still in good condition.
The services are just acceptable. The breakfast has many sufficient number of dishes but the quality is just mediocre.
- Jennifer (10/5): - The room is big and clean .
- Diem (9/5): Superb -
- Hong (10/5): I had a wonderful stay. - The breakfast was good and service staff was nice. Nothing to complain. Everyone was nice.
- Vinh (9/5): Good Location - Room is clean ans comfortable None
- Kj (9/5): went to see a friend who had a coffee shop 12kms away. But everything went ok. Never seen so many coffee shops in all my - Really nice hotel. Although, that time of the year, the restaurant was only open for breakfast. The suite was fantastic. Plenty of room, bed super comfortable, it was an unexpected experience. Absolutely nothing
- Steven (10/5): Good value. Breakfast was awesome! - The cafe shop on the 9th floor. The hot water was too hot.
- Nigel (7/5): Big bus tour hotel but comfy. - The inside was nicer than the outside. Grand lobby and nice room and bed. Nice big front entrance and parking. Typical bus tour type hotel without much personality. Front desk staff were great but breakfast buffet servers were indifferent. Rooms need better maintenance.

- 76wiktors (2/5): The worst hotel in my life. - The worst hotel in my life!
I booked a stay for 7 days. Upon arrival, it turned out that the promised pool was without water. The promised spa was closed. The toilet in the bathroom was clogged, when the water was flushed, waste spilled onto the floor. Despite 4 interventions, the fault was not removed. During a storm, water poured into the room through leaky windows. After 3 days I decided to change hotel. At the reception, a rude lady stated that I had to pay for the entire 7-day reservation. She tried to blame all the problems on the corona epidemic. I have reported the information to Agoda and am currently awaiting a cancellation decision. I moved to the Melia Vinpearl Hotel. The difference is like between hell and heaven.

- pr3z_06 (2/5): Disgusting Hotel - One of the worst hotels I can say I have seen in person. It started when we got out of the cab with our luggage and the hotel did not offer to take our bags instead laughing at those who struggled carrying all their bags. Then we noticed that there wasn’t even a pool in the hotel which is advertised on their website. This hotel is a SCAM!!! The rooms aren’t nice either. We decided to to check out and leave after being at the hotel for 30 minutes and they still decided to charge us for staying a night. It was disgusting. I would never suggest staying at this hotel as it is a SCAM. The employees also do not speak English. Go to Vinpearl Instead!
- 586vaughang (2/5): Don't come here if you are a drinker. - Booked and paid up front for this place, as it's advertised as having a rooftop bar and minibars.
It also gets fulsome reviews everywhere. Imagine our delight upon arriving and finding there is no minibar and no bar.
Holiday weekend ruined.
The room is clean, however.
- 401phin (8/5): VTF Junior Tournament - Room rate for suite is reasonable for this part of Vietnam. Room is cleaned and well maintained. Best option for Tay Ninh if you are looking for affordable luxury.
Only issue is a very small TV for aging eyes 👀
- Verified traveler (10/5): Value stay - Outlook hotel is ok but the furniture inside a bit old and the comfort of the mattress to be improved. but we this price , ok the tolerate any condition for stay
- SaigonWind (10/5): Extremely Pleased with everything - I was there staying about 3 days during a holiday trip, was surprise to know that Sunrise Hotel was considered the likely only 4 stars hotel there in Tay Ninh City. Price wise very acceptable based on the Room size given to me (bedroom + Living) was huge and comfortable.
Had encounter my bathroom door had problem closing, the management service team fixed up the problem within 30 mins and i gave them a big thumb UP for their efficiently.
Overall experience was good as i am consider a Regular Vietnam Traveler that had been to number of other provinces too. Compare to other hotels, this Hotel was one of the best i had ever stayed !
Reviews From Mr Lim (Singapore)
- GregFopp (10/5): Still the best cuppacino in Tay Ninh - Still don't understand why Eden cafe (coffee shop here) doesn't have it's own trip advisor. I havnt stayed at the hotel, which looks amazing, but have come for coffee and smoothies many times over the years. Still the best cuppacino in Tay Ninh. Lovely coffee shop on the 9th floor, amazing views of Ba den mountain from the outside dining area, or inside in air conditioned comfort. Otherwise relax in style on the ground floor. Either way, great service, great coffee and great smoothies. I will be back again, so should you 😊
- LeanEagle (10/5): Will be back - The hotel itself is a destination. It has many good eateries and shops nearby.
We were in the hotel for an engagement and everything was taken care of to a magnificent level. Genuine friendliness of the people make you feel right at home.
The breakfast buffet is quite extensive with Asian and a limited number of Western options.
The Lobby is grand and has the most friendly staff working there.
The only drawback is the rather hard mattress but we had a really good sleep.
This is one of the better hotels I've stayed in here in Vietnam, specially in terms of sound proofing. You can barely hear anything from the busy road downstairs.
When in Tay Ninh, this is the only hotel I will look for.
- JUNG WOOK (8/5):
- jimjE2493ZI (8/5): Best place to stay in Tay Ninh - We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The reviews I read shortly after the hotel opened in 2017 indicated that the staff was working hard to get the hotel going well. They certainly succeeded because my wife and I enjoyed our stay in late January 2018. The staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged for an interpreter, Linh, and a driver. Both were outstanding. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was good. We ate at the restaurant on the roof, the Eden Cafe, and enjoyed the food and specialty drinks while gazing at Nui Ba Dinh (the Black Virgin Mountain). The hotel is a good value.
- sophiaph_nga (10/5): Good service - I go here with my tennis team,we stay here for few days to play a tournament, when I arrived at the hotel,it was very big and glorious also very shiny, first where I step inside I went to the cafe ,I love my hot chocolate ,When finally finishing it my next step is in my hotel room,it was very clean the bed is very warm, the TV works very perfectly, after resting in the dorm room The third step is to the restaurant, the food is delicious but kinda slow,my lamp is the most delicious, then am off to the pool I don’t mind it is small but it was very relaxing,it is cold as any pool else, and after my tournament finish I pack my stuff and the last thing I see before diving to the bus is the reception they are very nice, they helped us carry our bag, when am off to go,I will miss this hotel.
- Timm_Laa (6/5): Rooms okay, restaurant terrible - The room was okay for the price. Spacious, clean and relatively modern. The pool is small and didn't seem to get used by anybody. We didn't swim because the water looked green/blueish and when the staff saw we had gone to the pool they started fishing leaves and other dirt out of it. The worst part was the "Sunflower restaurant" on the first floor, though. We went for dinner at 7 and the entire restaurant was empty and the air-cons were turned off. The air-cons were turned on when we sat down at a table, but the service that followed was terrible. We had to ask for the menu, got half of it, then asked again to get the other half. We ordered and waited, only to be informed 10 minutes later that the drinks we ordered (hot tea) were not available. Another 15 minutes after that we were told that the fish we ordered was not available either. Shortly after, our crab-veggie dish arrived and it looked terrible. There was a dark human hair in it and the vegetables looked old so that we didn't risk trying it at all. Instead we expressed our dissatisfaction to the waitress and after brief discussion the manager cancelled our order free of charge. We left, never to return.
- Picayunemicroblading (8/5): Over all Good hotel - This Hotel and Victory have the same owners. I personally Liked the staff at Victory much better. I will be staying at the Victory hotel when I travel to Tay Ninh. A lot more value as well. Tay Ninh is a wonderful place.
- 401phin (6/5): 3 Star - The best hotel in Tay Ninh if you want modern comfort. Book online to save, otherwise a little overpriced for this 3-4 stars hotel. We came for the set lunch but they were all out. We ordered from main menu for 3 but it took a very long time for emptied restaurant.
However, giving we are in a small remote town, it’s a luxury to have Sunrise here.
- Chris (10/5): TOP quality hotel - This is an excellent hotel in the centre of Tay Ninh. Great value and great facilities. Personally I think it should be rated 5 star. Only compliant is that breakfast was a bit disappointing.
- James (8/5): Tay Ninh style - The staff were amazing and friendly.
I really enjoyed the spa with complimentary voucher.
The dinner was overpriced and not value for money. 180,000 vnd for four pork ribs.
A cold beer at the bar instead of ice would be great too.
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- 95phil (10/5): Best hotel in Tay Ninh but price is a bit expensive - This hotel was newly built but extremely luxurious and 5 star. the best and largest hotel in Tay Ninh province. The hotel is very nicely located in the heart of the province and many amusement parks. If you need a luxury place then this is the number one. however, the price is expensive. Parking is free
- MarkAttea (10/5): Beautiful Hotel! - A real gem in Tay Ninh. The check in staff was very helpful and kind. Our room was beautiful and when we asked for more shampoo was brought immediately. Very attentive staff! The breakfast was amazing!! Included in the room price and out of this world! Nothing but good things to say about Sunrise Hotel - thank you for a great start to our honeymoon!
- 626lawrencel (4/5): Not worth of value - This hotel is very expensive for their standard of rooms, breakfast are getting poorer since I last visit on March 2017.
Do not stay at 8th floor as they keep moving table and chair from around 8am..9th floor is cafe.
Hopefully we can have more choice of hotels in this area.
- lelera2018 (10/5): good hotel and very good people working in Sunrise Hotel - I was in Sunrise hotel for 52 days (august 2017 - October 2017) and I appreciated everything...
Room very big, nice forniture, very confortable bed, very nice bathroom, very spacious shower...
Breakfast very good and also lunch and dinner.
The buffet of september 2nd was delicious, more than 50 different dishes.... crabs, lobster, shrimps..... very good!!!
But the best was people working there: all people very kind, always ready to help foreigners, even for things not related to the hotel, for example recharge sim card or change money.
Thank you everybody!!!
Thank you Miss Thanh Trang!!! (I hope I wrote right name)
Thank you Miss Duong Tuyet!!! (I hope I wrote right name)
- R1963CEmattr (8/5): Pricey for VietNam but clean with a great breakfast - Location: doesn't seem to be located anyplace special...but wonderful mountain view from my upper floor room.
Very clean rooms with a fully functioning Western-style bathroom. Modeled after Western standards, this was a comfortable, attractive lodging. Beautiful, massive dining area with a great view of the city. Pool area looked well-maintained.
The breakfast buffet was a good quality with a varied selection. Vietnamese, Chinese, American, and continental choices. They served the closest thing to real American bacon that I found in Vietnam over a 6-week multi-city vacation.
The front desk clerk needed some persuasion to honor an online price that we signed up to. I am not sure that if my VietNamese wife had not shown up that I wouldn't be writing a complaint instead of praise. We ended up paying close to the $60-80 range down from $160. I believe this property can be booked online for about $62. Well worth it by Western standards. Probably pricey by Vietnamese standards, but this is the best property in town by my observations.
- Michael (10/5): Overlooked provincial pearl! - Tay Ninh is a very friendly and curious city that greets tourists with open arms. The same thing goes for the Sunrise Hotel. They're both hidden gems, not due to attractions, but to hospitality.
Nui Ba Den Mountain, an extinct volcano 20 km away creates a very special setting. It is very much worthwhile a visit and can be climbed on all levels: walking, trolley or cable car.
Very recommended...
- williambW6076QF (10/5): Best Hotel in Tây Ninh - I have stayed in the Sunrise Hotel on at least 5 occasions starting in August 2016 with my last visit in June 2017. The hotel had not been open too long the first time I stayed there. There have been some growing pains, but the hotel is better each time I stay there.
The pool area is now complete. The tennis courts are well maintained. The indoor outdoor dining area by the pool is an excellent place to relax when it is raining but you do not want to be indoors.
The lobby coffee lounge extends outside to enjoy coffee on a fine evening.
I spent a wonderful Christmas Eve there enjoying coffee and ice cream. One of my more memorable moments.
The free breakfast was very marginal to begin with but has gotten better. It is still not 4 star.
The views from the upper floors are excellent. The rooftop lounge is an excellent place to relax with friends in the evening.
The staff is courteous and attentive. Some speak very good English while others pretend to understand. With experience you learn to tell them apart.
I understand that the spa is now open and offers excellent service starting at reception.
I believe that on my next visit to Tây Ninh, I will find that the Sunrise Hotel will have continued to improve.
See my Google Maps reviews for more comments and photos. I should have kept more photos.
- Loi (10/5): Elegant colonial style hotel - Elegant colonial style hotelEverything was Ok but only one thing that annoying. If you checked in late from normal checked in time, you will suffer to walk bery far frm lobby...
- JamesL3356 (2/5): Outright Liars - This hotel outright lied on booking detail claiming to have a fitness centre! When I asked, they claimed it was being built! I asked to see it and they looked dumbfounded, caught in their lie! The place is cheap with flimsy towels and decor! It's empty and feels like a morgue or deserted high school. Terrible service and nothing to offer. This is less than 2 star sliding downhill! Avoid it at all costs
- Linhnguyen-swe (8/5): Can get a lot better - Not much to say about this one. Probably the most expensive hotel in Tay Ninh and just 60$/night for a massive room with a massive living room. I enjoyed the stay and the staff was really nice.
there are some minor improvements to be made, like the strong perfume smell they spray in the lobby to give this sensorial feeling of "this is high end" that is very uncomfortable, the breakfast is as diverse as I would prepare for myself when I'm in a hurry. Much better food outside, that is if you can find it.
