• mark (2/5): An experience! - The shower ...that's it The room was hotter than Egypt , windows didn't open , a TV with no remote, WiFi...non existent! Holes in the wall, if you value your sleep go elsewhere as the 2am alarm call from the noisy rooms next to us drunk and shouting and screaming until 4 , told them we were arriving about 1pm only to get messages at 1234 asking we are still coming or they will cancel our room ....only wish they had done would have got more sleep in my car

• Chris (1/5): Awful wouldn’t recommend - Nothing Would not recommend this hotel. I had to change rooms three times during my stay. In the first room, the shower was hanging off the wall and completely out of its fitting. When I reported it, I was told it was “fine” and wouldn’t fall off, which was concerning. The second room was clearly not properly cleaned. There was a white residue on surfaces that wiped away easily, suggesting it hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was also a can of spaghetti hoops left on top of the cupboard that had clearly been there for some time, and red stains on the quilt, which was unacceptable. I was then moved to a third room, which was fine, but there were still issues with service. There was only one small towel provided initially, and I had to request additional towels multiple times, ultimately waiting over an hour for them to arrive. I was also asked to pay a £20 cash deposit for the room key, which was not mentioned anywhere during the booking process. Overall, for the price paid, the experience was very disappointing. I would have expected a much higher standard and would not stay here again.
• Bobby (4/5): Could be worse, could have been better - Bed was comfy and the shower was really nice, plenty of room and the kitchen was really handy Poor maintinance, sockets were coming out of the wall, the window stopper kept coming out, the small shower head had its hose sheithing coming off and the bathroom sink had no drain cover, the lightd were all wired to one switch, while having 2 dud switches, and some of the bulbs were out

If it was clean and presentable it would be value for money but it’s not. - The location is good and there’s parking The rooms online look nicer than the place actually is. The apartment was dirty with stains all over the carpet. We booked a double room but it was two beds pushed together. When we arrived the window was left open so it was absolutely Baltic in the room. And don’t even get me started on the state of the ironing board!

Wasn’t far from Newcastle city centre. Would stay again. Plenty shops and takeaways within walking distance. No city views as advertised. Shower was hanging off the wall and water wasn’t hot until our last day so was having warmish showers which felt freezing. Would stay again though.

The hostess very nice and helpful and willing to help where he could. Another cup, teaspoons, knife, glass. Dirty carpet. The shower was broken. The bed was cold. No extra blankets. Holes in the walls. Girls screaming running to their rooms at 2am. Could hear a child crying in the next room.

Absolutley riddled with dust and mites 1 stay and I’m scarred for life never ever stay here you’ll be disappointed it’s absolutley filthy rotten sick was blocked because it was full of toilet roll Shower rails and glass doesn’t get wiped down Lights don’t work If you stay with a partner I expect a proper bed not 2 singles pushed together like wow I’m so disgusted working at the Hampton by Hilton royal station and more this shouldn’t be aloud to be open or at least have trading standards out to deem to property healthy as I’m riddled with a cold today not a good STAY now refused to refund so now I will contact bank with video evidence and photos to show them this company are scamming guests out of money.

• Amy (4/5): Would not recommend as not good value at all - Pleasant check in. Lift was out of order but they helped us with our bags up the flights of stairs which was very kind. Should not be termed apartment or as having a kitchenette. No cooking facilities, only one room had a kettle, no coffee pods so coffee machine was useless, no bin in the bathrooms (rubbish being a female!), one fork and three bowls for 6 people and the fridge in our room also didn’t work at all. It is essentially a bedroom and not even a very well equipped one. Literally nowhere to sit other than the floor or the beds. There was a lot of noise from other doors banging loudly and it was very warm as the windows barely open. Bathroom was adequate but the sink drained incredibly slowly and no working shower head holder.
