• Benjamin (10/5): Excellent merci - On a tout aimer, chambre propre, linge ultra propre, petit déjeuner à l’heure qu’on voulait… d’en temps plus on préparait une surprise pour mon anniversaire sans que personne demande. Donc vraiment un cocon familial de vrais valeurs. Nous on aider aussi à trouver le guide pour aller au mont Agung. Rien à dire. Félicitations pour votre accueil chaleureuse.

• Catherine (8/5): A serene countryside retreat - Beautiful setting and wonderfully kind and helpful staff. A special shoutout to Eka for making our stay so comfortable. A bit remote if you want to base your trip on Sideman but it is right next to Besakih temple which is great.

• Christian (10/5): - Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und auch die Gastgeberin und Mitarbeiter waren so freundlich und hilfsbereit, dass man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen konnte. Das Frühstück wird einem bei Bedarf an den Bungalow gebracht - einfach ein super Service!
• Karine (8/5): - Piscine magique, encore plus belle que sur les photos (ce qui est rare généralement c est l inverse). Personnel aux petits soins, cuisinant pour nous (pas de restau à proximité). Bungalows très jolis au bord de la piscine, à demander car seulement 3 au bord de la piscine ( nous avions les 3 car famille de 6, impression que c était privatisé pour nous !!!) A 2 mn a pied du temple Besakih. Emplacement idéal pour le mont Agung Aucun restau dans le coin et carte très très limitée sur place même si tres bon ,éviter l italien dans le coin qui peut livrer mais vraiment pas bon) , ça va pour 1 jour ou 2. Bruyant car bungalows donc pas complètement fermé / isolé. Pour ceux qui ont peur des insectes possibilité de voir passer un lézard sur le mur en bois dans la chambre, vraiment rien de méchant mais comme il y a des ouvertures forcément … Un peu isolé.
• Kelly (9/5): - The property is right up in Menanga and would have an amazing view of Mt Agung on a clear day. The bungalow style of the rooms feels authentic and the surrounding area is very calm and quiet. Breakfast was served on the room balcony. The ownere was very sweet, as we were running very late from the airport she wasn't sure we were coming but when we arrived, she helped us with everything and with our transport the next day. We would have stayed here longer if we had more time!

• Tinna (7/5): - Just stayed one night. Comfortable room and breakfast delivered to your room. Though there was a rooster nearby that crowed all night and kept us up, but that is probably a part of traveling in the countryside.
• Terra (9/5): Rest by the Mountain - Eka and her team were the most friendly and helpful hosts! She even found me a great last minute driver to my next location.The banana pancake breakfast was a treat. I traveled during off season so it was very quiet. I wanted to see the temple and it was perfect location, just a short walk up the road and I was there! The resturaunt was closed, but they made menues available for me to order from and would bring food to my porch for dining. A lovely wood room with a cozy bed that invites you to rest, AC, & hot shower. If you want relaxation and time to visit the temple and mountain this is it.
• Mia (10/5): - Location was most excellent, very close to Holy Mt Agung and walking distance to Besakih Temple. Friendly staff served me excellent breakfast and they keep hotel nice and clean. They helped me find good guide for trek to the top of Mt Agung. Large swimming pool, beautify the property, I took many photos of the swimming pool and its nice reflections. I thank the staf to make my stay so nice and comfortable,

• Vesijänes (8/5): Good for visiting temple, ask for bungalow with pool view - Nice view from pool side bungalow. Short walking distance to temple. Otherwise there is nothing special in village. A lot of roosters "singing" around very early at morning. There were roosters even at hotel area in cages ! It belogs to balinece cultur, but is noisy. Breakfast is simple, not many choices. If you take omelette, it is only omelette without bread. No fruits if you not select fruits.

Les insectes dans la piscine m’ont vraiment freinés … Les ouvertures omniprésente dans le bungalow qui incitent les insectes à rentrer …

• William Jr (10/5): - What a beautiful place! We stayed over 2 weeks because of an art project nearby. The view from our veranda of the pool overlooking the mountains in the distance and Gunung Agung above is so peaceful. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We looked forward to seeing them everyday. And good cooks for breakfast. Highly recommended.

La struttura sembra un po' dismessa come la piscina, la fotografia rende più bella la piscina, mentre l'altra era vuota Fuori dalla struttura se non si è provvisti di un mezzo è difficile trovare un warung o altro.
• Nelia (8/5): Preciosas vistas de Besakih - El desayuno estuvo riquísimo (pedí el pancake de plátano). Las vistas desde la piscina son preciosas. El templo Besakih está justo al lado. Las propietarias fueron muy amables 🙂 La piscina no es infinita, y esto me decepcionó un poco... Las cabañas están muy oscuras por dentro. Pueden entrar insectos porque no están completamente cerradas por algunas partes. Por la noche había muchísimo ruido de animales. Es difícil encontrar dónde comer allí si te quedas muchos días, aunque la chica de recepción nos ayudó a pedir a un restaurante que repartía al mismo hotel.

• Jasper (8/5): - Very nice staff, good breakfast with large portions and a calm environment with nice views from the pool. The location is good for visiting the temple and coffee plantations, and about an hour by car from the harbour. The stay was quite expensive compared to other accommodations.

• elise (5/5): Un peu déçus... jolie vue mais c'est tout - Emplacement au pied du temple de Besakih, 5mn à pied. Vue imprenable depuis l'hôtel sur le volcan. Petite terrasse du bungalow agréable. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Personnel agréable. Bien pour une nuit. Mal désservi en transport (Taxi obligatoire). Très bruyant la nuit, karaoké dans la vallée, chiens qui aboient beaucoup et coqs qui chantent à toute heure. L'hôtel se trouve sur le parcours des jeeps qui passent vers 4h du matin pour faire l'assertion au volcan. Isolation sonore inexistante et draps et couverture manque de propreté. Nous avons donc été un peu déçus... nous avons payé la vie et la proximité du temple... bon hôtel de transit pour une nuit d'après nous.

Friendly staff. Sadly in need of major renovations. Looks and feels very run down. NO RESTAURANT - Booking.com listing needs adjusting to reflect this. Spa pool out of action. Swimming pool under-filled so definitely not an infinity pool!! Decking around the pool is nothing short of dangerous due to loose planks. Bungalows are very dark, you need to have the lights on during the day. Dirty, smelly pillows.

Beaucoup de chiens dans les environs, moins gentils que sur le reste de l’île… Attention l’hotel est en altitude, il fait froid et humide le soir.

• Eduard (8/5): - Està muy cerca del templo madre de Besakih. La cama era grande y comoda, y el desayuno no estaba mal para los estándares de aquí. Las vistas son maravillosas y la piscina y el entorno son muy bonitos. Además el personal es super atento y te ayudarán en absolutamente todo, incluso me fueron a buscar la cena el día que llegué ya que estaba cansado y no hacían "delivery". Un 10 en servicio. Por la noche hace mucho frío! (Si, en la montaña por la noche hace un frío que pela aquí). Y la cabaña no está nada aislada del exterior, es mas, hay ventanas que estan hechas expresamente para no cerrarse nunca en el baño, y el aire acondicionado solo da frío, así que... Trae abrigo!

• Joost (9/5): - Heerlijk verblijf aan het zwembad (let op, ze liggen niet allemaal aan het zwembad). Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het zwembad en uit het huisje op het dal en de natuur. De huisjes zijn mooi met een fijn terrasje ervoor en het is er heerlijk stil. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Er is in de omgeving weinig te doen behalve een grote tempel, maar voor even bijkomen is het perfect.

Ils fournissent quelques produits de toilette ce qui est fort apprécié. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. La piscine est superbe et surtout le personnel est adorable, souriant et très gentils!

• Thomas (7/5): Rustic cabins with good view - Location is nice with view of Mt Agung and also towards the ocean. Staff helped with food from D.licious which has many good food choices at good prices. Pool was large for good fun. The altitude makes for a good cool climate. Cabins are very thin walled, there was a good amount of karaoke, motor bikes and traffic noise. Also at 6am the burning smells entered the cabin through the porous walls. Pool was not fully filled with ware, so not the nice infinity pool from the photos, and small hot spa was empty pool. Overall, cabins appeared very basic.

Sehr abgelegen mit sehr wenig Möglichkeiten einzukaufen oder Essen zu gehen oder Bargeld abzuheben. Auch Grab/ GoJek ist hier schlecht zu bekommen, weshalb man auf teuere Taxis zurückgreifen muss. Kartenzahlung war entgegen der Angaben nicht möglich.

• Eric (7/5): A bit isolated but an okay option if you want to stay overnight near the temple complex. - Nice wood constructed bungalows facing pool area. Really enjoyed the banana pancake for breakfast Hotel is a bit secluded, located outside temple complex, and you need to walk 15 min uphill to entrance. Also, you can´t visit the restaurant area without an entrance ticket so eating options, especially at night can be challenging.

У нас были виллы у бассейна, вид на вулкан Агунг просто завораживающий. Завтраки вкусные и сытные. Вокруг звуки природы и красивые виды на окрестности. -

• Abas (7/5): - The staff was the most lovely and helpful we met in our whole stay in Bali, they serve the most amazing home made food and breakfast, and looked after us with a lot of care. The place is ok, room pretty small and dark and location is pretty hard if you don't have your own means of transportation, although just a few meters from the temple, other than that, hard to get anywhere. But the kindness of the staff made our stay more pleasant/

Although menu is limited ..the food was very nice ...huge breakfast included . A waterstation would be a good idea to save on plastic .
