Guest Reviews
- Rosalinda (10/5): - The staff is friendly. Issues about the tv and the key pass were quickly resolved. The location is perfect for me. It is very near Burnham Park, jeepneys to La Trinidad, Good Taste Restaurant, Mc Donald’s, and walking distance to the market and Session Road. I thought it is generally clean and had no gut issue after brushing my teeth with the water from the faucet. I was afraid at first due to an experience at another hotel but so far so good. During my second stay (rebooked another room), I saw two small cockroaches running on the sink. In my honest opinion, kindly apply bug spray every now and then to avoid multiplication of such. Im am not deterred by this but if the hotel gets infested, guests, including myself, might think otherwise. I will definitely stay in this hotel again considering its location and staff. Hopefully bug isdues will be kept at bay. Thank you for peaceful nights and secure entry into the hotel.
- Darwin (8/5): - The hotel water system has an issue. Water pressure is not stable.
- Harold (6/5): - Rooms weren't soundproof. Constant noise from hallway kept me up all night.
- Victoria (6/5): - It really is a basic room- no table had to ask for an additional chair to put our luggage on . Lots of mold in room and washroom. Lots of time we had no hot water for a shower or little water at all! Had an ingestion of small ants! Even were in/on bed - they do bite! Was VERY different from photos!asked to additional pillow and wee charged for the use for 9 days! No room phone so if you need anything you have to go downstairs to reception. But it was in the middle of markets restaurants and SM mall - just wished it was better cared for!
- Janelle (8/5): - Staff did not communicate with each other. I just checked in on my room when an old lady opened my door and went inside. It turns out, the old lady was a guest that checked out 2 hours ago but claimed she forgot something in the room. It seemed like they gave her a key card to access the room.
They let someone have access to my room after I was checked in. Thankfully I was inside the room- who knows what that old lady would have done. My privacy and safety was at risk. I spoke to the team leader and apologized and spoke to his staff.
- Ramon (10/5): - Nice and clean
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Really spartan
- Rosemarie (8/5): Hope there's a better internet connection - So far this is a fine place to stay since it is so close to Burnham Park and the only bad thing is we work nightshift with friends and the internet connection inside the room is so bad. We have to go to the reception area to have a good connection. I am surprised they don't have Bidet too and no extra table but I will give it 8 out of 10. Thanks for cleaning our room because we stayed 3 nights there and it was worth it. Thank you and amping mo tanan dira.
- Edgardo Javier (10/5): - Great location, close to everything and you can walk pretty much anywhere. If you need to venture further out you have a transportation right in front of the hotel. Great experience overall. I will book again if I’m in the area.
- Leonora (10/5): - Clean,good location and good service.
- Alcantara (10/5): - convenient location
- Marilyn (4/5): - Linens were badly stained at check in. New sheets were given but was also stained. Mold in shower. Towels were stained and discolored. The location is convenient to our purpose.
- Alexander (8/5): - Staff nice. Towels discolored. Good location. Room good.
- Douglas (2/5): - There was absolutely no space in this room. We were tripping over the luggage.
- clarisse ann (8/5): - Good location. Okay for the price. The room we had could use some upkeep. But over all out stay was comfortable and the area is very accessible.
- Maria (4/5): - The WORST hotel I’ve been in 60 yrs of business and pleasure travel. I AM APPALLED at the owners’ lack of concern by NOT providing the most basic needs in the room. There were NO LAMPS, NO DRESSING TABLE, NO SIDE TABLE, NO DRAWERS OR CLOSETS FOR ONE’S CLOTHES, NO LUGGAGE RACKS, A SHOWER ROOM WITH ONLY HALF A DOOR so water overflows, causing a safety hazard), a LEAKING AC UNIT with ratty gray towels below the AC, NO GLASSES in the bathroom, bad-looking OLD GRAY, FRAYED BATHROOM TOWELS that any sane guest would not use, NO TISSUE PAPER, PEELING WALLPAPER, NO Coffee Maker because the Front Desk person claimed that “we should have known” that “TRAVELITE” means it IS a budget, bare bones hotel. I did NOT! (We had to go to the mall to buy towels and other amenities to make our room habitable.)
The one saving grace is the pleasant HOUSEKEEPING STAFF on our floor. There were 2 paid housekeepers and 7 on-the job trainees - unpaid and with no food allowance either! They truly helped to make our stay TOLERABLE! They were young people - unjaded, sympathetic. They promptly provided more bedsheets and pillowcases to cover the old bedspread. WORST ARE THE HOTEL KEYS WITH THE NAME OF THE HOTEL, THE ADDRESS AND THE ROOM NUMBER! How STUPID IS THAT?
The GM came and offered to move us to another location. He was gracious but we declined- the other hotel was far/cabs would be hard to find) and he even came back with a cheesecake offering.
DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. EVER! EVER!
- Dennis (10/5): Home for 3 days - The hotel is well organized, safe and secured. The room is very clean and sanitized.
The staff are very pleasant and very helpful.
Excellent place for relaxation. The location is in the heart of the city...
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Wifi does not "reach" my room; i can only access at the lobby... lady at the counter didn't even bother to check when i requested for an hour of extended stay. Airconditioning is "fix" at a certain temp. No phone inside the room; you need to go out of the room to use the floor hallway phone to call front desk.
- anne margarette (10/5): - Accommodating Staff and easy check-in process.
- Joy (4/5): - inconvenient facility
- Precious Karen (10/5): - Travelite Express Hotel is located at the heart of Baguio City. It is across the famous Café by the Ruins and there is a minimalist coffee shop located in the building. Good Taste restaurant and Central Park is also accessible by walking.
- EDUARDO DE GUIA (4/5): Not too friendly front desk. - Booked 2 rooms for 3 persons but I had a fourth person to accompany my 90 year old mother. Staff would not allow 4th person even if I paid. No other solution offered. We ended up paying for an extra room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Needs customer service development. - The lady in the reception was not accomodating. Didn't do an extra to address our concern though there were available rooms. Towels were old. The location was good though.
- Nikka (8/5): - Good but we suggest to have a closet for your guest things
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, centrally located and courteous staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location and accessibility
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Everything wrong choice on my part I was disappointed. With this place there is parking but I have to pay extra money for overnight parking No free ameniues like toothpaste and brush
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It is so accessable. And the price is quite reasonable, the room is comfortable, simple and nice, eventhough you could hear the noises from the hallway.
- Larry (10/5): A nice inexpensive hotel - Good location, across the street from Burnam Park. Restaurant, pizza, and coffee shop downstairs. ATM just outside lobby entrance.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - centrally located within the city center, good restaurants on the groundfloor
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel was okay. Room is small but nice. I hope they can add bidet in the bathroom and a cabinet for your clothes.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not a very good hotel. - Travelite Hotel is nice when you want to be at the center of all the tourist spots. But if we're talking about comfort, it's not the best. Once you come in, the only things provided there is soap, shampoo, and towels aside from the bed and bathroom. There is no closet to put your belongings and valuables in. No safe to put your important things in. The sheets of our bed weren't fresh as well. They were dirty and they smelled. The bathroom does not have a bidet. No hair dryer, not even an electric kettle to heat water. No fridge and the water dispenser is outside your hotel room--for everyone's sharing in your floor. The hotel is okay to stay in if you just need a place to sleep, but the money you pay isn't worth it if you're just looking for "a place to sleep in."
- Verified traveler (8/5): Kudos, Travelite! - I appreciate that the room we stayed was clean and comfortable for me and my daughter. We came from a long trip and we appreciate having a good rest in Travelite. The staff were courteous and very nice. Kudos!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - POSITIVE: Great location
NEGATIVE: Dirty linens and towels, other guest banging the door in the other room, extra dirty pillows with fee 100php each, parking with fee, if you mess the bedsheet you will pay also, you cannot change room. Wifi not good, no exhaust, no bidet in the bathroom. Receptionists were not friendly. They will also suggest you to roam around instead of waiting in the lobby for your check in.. they don't care if you are tired from travel.
- Geo (6/5): - Property is in the city.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - the overall experience was great.
- Aiza (8/5): - Location is accessible. Wifi no connection.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - close to burnham park
- Verified traveler (6/5): Can do better - Pros: They have security. You cannot go up without the security guards rfid on the elevator. Clean and comfy bed. I like the interior and flooring. Theres soap and shampoo.
Cons: No basic necessity in the room. No toothbrush, toothpaste, no bidet, no telephone, no mineral water(you have to get water in the dispenser outside the room)The Comfort room has no privacy because it doesnt have any lock. Not good for friends. There are lots of molds in the ceiling, on edges, mirrors, etc. So much for the list of things your going to pay if you stain something in their stuff. They have a list of fees for every item you might stain but cannot even remove the molds. Their towels smells like smelly armpits.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I like the room rates. Dislike-no breakfast😁
- Laurence (10/5): - The best ang location. Nsa centro. Walking distance lng hlos lht.Tip lng 2 un travelite. May bago travelite hotel pero sbi nsa centro lng din un bago.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Near by the town.
Convenient
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great stay, but expected the large TV to work, TV in 301 does not work. Rest of the stay was pretty good.
- JM (10/5): - Great experience..clean..but some of the staff were inconsiderate..our room was near the housekeeping office/room and we just checked in but they were noisy, talking and laughing like no one was checked in the room beside them..there was no phone in the room to call the attention of the reception so we used a cellphone instead and got the hotel's number in the website...personnel should be given training on how to behave inside the facilities especially when the guests are taking a rest.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Affordable and clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great place to stay
- JiaHui (8/5): Okay for its price - The remote for AC couldn’t work; we reserve as 3 people but they forgot to provide 1 set of pillow, cover, amenities. Its location is convenient. The WiFi signal was not good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location, value for money. - Great location, rooms are new. Good security (key card and elevator security measures). Drinking water in the hallway for refill. Bed is a little too soft, would have preferred something more firm. Although breakfast isn't free, 30% discount was appreciated (large servings).
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very accessible.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was quite small. The bathroom ceiling was moldy .
The parking area smelled like sewer. I think they have a problem with their sewerage system, it smelled so bad.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bed is itchy, but place is near Burnham Park. WiFi is not strong too
- Rheysie (8/5): - Nothing special. But Its really clean and safe place to stay.
- brian matthew (10/5): - Twas a nice stay but i hope parking will be free for us clients.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location! I also like the fact that they prioritize on the safety & security of their guests like the security personnel have an access card for the elevator that way only in-house guests can have access to the floors. What I didn't like during my stay (March 24-25, 2019) was there was something odd with the quality of the water coming out of the faucet. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel specially for those who are on a tight budget..cheap but clean, secured & great location.
- Mark (6/5): rude - the receptionist is very unhelpful very rude
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Pretty good for this price range. Small but well maintained rooms. In busy area near burhnam park, but most of central Baguio is busy.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Parking was not free as advertised at the time of booking
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Area near park n mall..u xan take a walk n see alot..staff is very nice.....massage services can be nice to be included
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean
- Joey Kim (10/5): - it was nice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Poor customer service
- Edzelle Ross (10/5): - The best place to stay. Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice location. Closed to everything. Only the tv audio is not very clear. Hot water shower is very helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good place for short staying!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location with very excellent value for money. Only thing Need to improve is that they should provide bidet for more comfort. I was surprised to see”tabo.” Knowing that they have foreign guest who are nor used in using tabo in CR 😉
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was at the center of everything. We can just walk around. The only problem we encountered was the noise. There was construction beside the hotel which kept us awake and the sound of the vehicles wasn't helping either.
- Mary grace rosary (6/5): - Staff are not welcoming, not smiling no greetings like good morning or good evening. They just look at u.
Not changing they’re pillow case.
The towels are smelly even it’s new.
- EM (8/5): - accommodating staff, clean room and a decent parking space. Not much for a hotel but overall it is a nice place to stay "specially near burham park".
- Dennis (8/5): Decent budget hotel in the center of Baguio - A decent budget hotel in the center of Baguio. Location is excellent at it's just in front of Burnham Park, with affordable eateries dowstairs and nearby. Most top attractions in the city are within walking distance.
Property is good for budget travelers, solo or couple, for a night or two. But I would not recommend the hotel for a family vacation or for longer stays. The room is quite tiny for a family of three or more.
Overall, our stay is enjoyable.
- Norlie (4/5): Unexpected - We are not expeçting that the two bed was change in to single bed each...we have to add more payment and i am dis appointed for adding 700 for additional bed...and no free breakfast no free toothbrush...sorry i will not recommend this to my friends
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Its nice and see you soon
- IVY (8/5): Great Place to Stay - Exceeds what you pay for. Staffs are polite. Hotel is in very accessible location. Room is so comfy and clean-no provided slippers though. Personally, Not loving the shower and toilet area arrangement a bit•••overall its almost a perfect stay. We’ll recommend it.
- Jade (4/5): - I wish they provide slippers and the toilet should have a bidet for comfortable usage.
- Yna&Tan (8/5): - Very strategic in location. few walks from burnham park, restaurants, groceries (puregold)
Rooms were good. For the price just perfect for you to be comfortable that caters your basic needs. New hotel, thus it's still clean.
We'll definitely book here on our next visit.
- MARCEL (8/5): Access key for elevator - The only setback in this hotel is the operation of the elevator. Everytime we need to go up, we should call the attention of the security guard at the ground floor to tap the key card in the elevator so he can push the floor where we are heading.
As an improvement.... What if they program your room key to function the same as what the security guard is using. In this way, the hotel guest can directly tap and push the floor he will be going.
Aside from this, hotel stay is comfortable and pleasant due to proximity to downtown.
- edwin (8/5): Nice hotel in the City center - Its nice to stay in the Hotel but you have to pay separately for the parking.
- Des (6/5): The room and hotel are ok and reasonably priced. - My only sad experience was when the staff charged me for the full price of the blanket that had a drop or two caused by my make-up liquid cheek color. I told them they could still remove it with laundry bleach or detergent soap but they said they do not use these cleaning materials. In the first place, the mirror was placed on top of the headboard making the bed cover susceptible to make-up stains. Not really customer-friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - clean room, comfy bed, clean sheets, although there is no bidet, there's a "tabo". and super close to burnham park.
- May Myra (8/5): What you pay is what you get - Pair
- Verified traveler (10/5): Baguio business trip - The room was nice and clean. Hot shower and big screen TV are big plusses. Location is great, lots of food places around.
- Laila Claire (2/5): You have to pay extra for everything - Very basic hotel! Comfy beds. I booked 2 rooms and one of the rooms are for 2 adults and and 2 kids. There were 2 beds but the other beds have no pillows and blankets. I had to lay extra for a pillow and blanket well in fact the room was for 4 people??? How ridiculous!!! No phone in the room! No available hairdryer, no vavailable iron!!! You can’t go up to ur room without the guard’s access card!!! Why can’t they just make the room card keys be the access for their elevator?? Rooms are clean. Staff were friendly but was not very happy with my stay! Extra pillow is 100php a day huh! What the heck!!! If u stain the sheets u have to pay extra.... i should have taken a photo of their ridiculous extra charges so u have to be careful that u keep ur sheets and towels clean!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - After a tiring day, you go back to your hotel to rest, lie down, watch TV, etc. But when we got back there was no TV signal not even a wifi connection. And all the staff could say was it was beyond their control.
Molds in the bathroom too.
- Bok (10/5): Awesome Hotel - Not located in a much crowded place but still very near to famous places in Baguio and transportation. Nice staff, they even allowed us to leave them our staff when we decided to go to Atok Benguet for a trip even after we checked out. This is our second time staying here and I can tell that we are not disappointed. Thank you Travelite :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice hotel, my stay is very comfortable. The place of the hotel is closest also to Burnham park and other attractions.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Everything was good! - the hotel was comfy, clean and location was also good. above all whole staff was really kind and professional. would recommend to all!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I hope the comfort room have bidet, and large mirrors, Wifi Unstable connection, We are not informed not allowed to go out after 12midnight, we just like to buy drinks. for shampoo and soap i suggest you supply all in one soap,
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Close to all amenities in the city and staffs were very friendly and clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): No thrills hotel with great staff - Super friendly staff! Hotel was no thrills which is ok and expected. The area was just ok but a short drive will bring you to all locations quickly. Parking is p50 per night. The only thing to mention is the extremely soft bed - this is subjective and for me the bed was just way too soft and uncomfortable.
- Angel (8/5): Clean and decent - If you want a clean and decent hotel to stay at which is near to burnham park, session road and SM... this place is highly recommendable.
- Ruvie Ann (10/5): Great stay - The stay was great it just that you dont have food services and free breakfast. If you add that will me amazing coz coffee and breakfast is life.
- Noah (10/5): Traveling Experience - It was an excellent stay, the staff were very accommodating and the room was clean. Thanks!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel close to Session Rd. - It was a pleasant experience, thanks to the staff. Although it would be great if there are at least cups/saucers and drinking glasses available in the room so guests wont have to buy disposables.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great - Pros: Affordable, nice and modern. Staff was nice and attentive. Wifi 👍 location is good.
Cons: The hot water pressure in the shower is very weak. No phone and water in the room has to go out to call the front desk or get some drinking water. Need to change the facilities info on the site only said wifi only at the lobby but they have at the rooms. It was deceiving, we should've stayed at this hotel instead of the other we stayed at if we knew about this since our work requires internet use.
Over all it was a great stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice hotel near to park and restaurants & food chains. Recommended hotel for small family stay with very reasonable price. With very accomodating receptionist, guard and crew. You can save some of your money (from taxi, you can walk to reach the park, restaurants (cheap price with very delicious food), session road and more.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent - Friendly staff... Secured... You will feel comfort... Very near to Burnham, fast foods, & restaurants... On our second day they clean our room... When we came back I was smiling & laughing bcoz they arranged also our pig pillow... 😂😅
- Verified traveler (8/5): Value for money and great location - Hotel is centrally located since it is close to tourist spots, food places, market and transportation hubs.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - N
- Eric (8/5): Great value for central Baguio - Just out of the city center, Travelite was clean, bright and featured good security. Staff were competent and friendly. Considering the modest price, it was an excellent value for Baguio. Be sure to ask for a room away from the club next door.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stayed for 3 nights for the second time. Rooms are excellent. Location excellent. If u can only add cups and saucers inside the rooms it would be great. When we're in baguio, its always travelite.
- Rosimo (10/5): Nice Hotel - Great experience for the cheap price, I will recommend this hotel for friends and family for sure
