- Maciej (9/5): Anyway, I enjoyed my stay and can certainly recommend Venus Sapa Hostel! - Location was in the city center but far away from noisy traffic. But just a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants. The room and the bed were comfortable. There was a locker for luggage, with a supplied key. To take a shower it was necessary to wait 15 minutes but the water was nice and hot. The aircon worked fine. I found the regular bed linen too thick and too warm to sleep comfortably in summer. I asked for it to be changed and got something better. If not, I wouldn’t be able to sleep well. I guess the linen is good in winter… I wish there was a printed breakfast menu. A picture on booking.com shows somebody with a big plate of fruit but it wasn’t mentioned while ordering.
- Jose (2/5): - In your website it says free breakfast included. It is ala carte, I ordered a simple egg omelet with 3 slices of bread and coffee with creamer. When I am checking out. The lady receptionist/owner is charging me 60,000 Vdong. I showed her my reservation and it says there free breakfast. She said NO! Breakfast is not included. She said call your agency. So I look at your customer sevice number but since I am rushing to check out, I put out my credit card and was about to pay her but I said I will let the Hotels.com know that you are scamming your customers. I said I will definitely make a Bad, Big review of this because you are scammer. Then she said, no I dont need your money. And so I left. Let it be known to all who plan to book here that that Lady in the Reception is trying to charge extra for a small breakfast when in the website it says free breakfast. I was about to look for a police to report her but I have not enough time.

- Bodnar (8/5): Overall good stay - Staff were very friendly. Easy check in. Lots of services available to be arranged at front desk. Comfy bed. Clean room. Great Location. Chill environment. Shower stayed warm for all of 1 minute, even after switching it on for 15mins prior.

- Eden (1/5): Bad - I wish I could comment, but the owner double booked my room and refused to give me a refund. I didn’t stay in the hostel because the owner booked my room, although I did NOT cancel my reservation through booking. This owner of the hostel behaves fraudulently and is clearly attempting to trick tourists as to take their money. The owner refuses to talk to me and has hung up on me multiple times. He says he will process the refund if I request it through booking, after hours of phone calls with booking and attempts to speak with the owner, the owner denies the request for a refund time after time. I would not recommend booking here as the customer service is truly unbearable and the owner shows no intention of returning money even when he is well aware that I did not complete a cancellation nor did I stay on his property.

- Matt (8/5): Lovely staff for a good place - Perfect location. A lot on offer from the hostel. The staff were so friendly and hospitable and even changed our room, must’ve been an upgrade. First night the beds were very hard.

The room was quite cold , a few blankets would be nice to have available. The hot water although hot, doesn't last long, only enough for 1 person before having to heat up again.

Beware— many of the rooms face a neighboring property with extremely bright security lights that will flood your room with light at night even with the (cheap and thin) shades drawn. Additionally, there’s no soundproofing or dampening in the stairwell and anyone making noise in the lobby or lounge will echo straight into your room.

- Ralph (10/5): Central, nice view, nice owner - The place is centralnin SaPa and ypu have a very nice view over the tow and the lake (we were on the 5th level). The owners seem to be really nice. Maybe thicker curtains would do a better job do darken the room. But no big Deal.

- Vitit (1/5): Bad - The hostel is perfect for staying in Sapa, great location on highland for the Lakeview, quiet private easy to walk in and out to clty within 3minutes , can walk to bus stations, mountains viewpoint, even Cat Cat villege, fasipan station. The room is very clean, proper for all necessary need to stay, soft comfortable bed with heater and friendly owners to suggest all you need to clear for your trip in Sapa, I hopefully will be back again next time. Thank you On 5 floor, hear small sound of water pump working some period when people useing water, but not a big deal disturb at sleeping time.

- Edward (9/5): A brilliant hostel - A very cozy and comfortable hostel in the heart of Sapa. The owners live on site and are incredibly attentive and helpful. The rooms were super spacious, and the beds themselves an amazing twin bed size, with privacy curtains that are actually fully covering the bed. There was a shower toilet room inside the bedroom. The WiFi worked well and was stable throughout the building. The shower / boiler had a limited supply of hot water. There was no locker in the room for bags and personal belongings. The road to the hostel is very close to town, but it's a very steep climb...
