- Muriel (9/5): Emplacement au top loin du bruit de Kandy - Emplacement génial, loin du bruit de Kandy. Les hôtes sont très gentils et toujours prêts à aider. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, très agréable et reposant. Je recommande vivement cet endroit ! Le seul petit inconvénient est que la salle de bain et les WC,bien que privatifs, sont situés en face de notre chambre dans le hall.

- Lenka (10/5): Perfect stay - Homestay Garden Rest Kandy was so far the best place we've stayed. The room was spacious, spotless clean (incl. ensuite bathroom) with comfy beds. Property has a shared large living room with dining area, which is a nice touch if you'd like to relax after the long day exploring. The owners were absolutely delightful. They live at the property, so you have access to them at all times (if needed). They attended to all of our needs quickly and without any fuss. Breakfast served was delicious. Location of the property is great, set in the quiet street, away from the busy main road, only short tuk-tuk ride from Kandy city centre. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Kandy in the future. There is nothing you can complain about this property.

La maison est située à la sortie ouest de la ville. Il y a souvent des tuk tuk garés pas loin pour rejoindre le centre ville. Loueur de scooter à 300 m : on a apprécié de sortir de la ville pour aller visiter les temples à la campagne 🤩. Très bons conseils des propriétaires pour prendre un bus climatisé pour Nuwara Eliya. - Monika (9/5): Schöne Unerkunft für Stadtbesichtigung oder als Zwischenstopp - Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten. Es war sehr schön und völlig ausreichend für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Kandy. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und sprechen gutes Englisch. Die City mit Zahntempel ist fussläufig in ca. 25 - 30 Minuten erreichbar. Führt jedoch entlang einer stark befahrenen Straße.

De dag voordat we aan zouden komen heb ik nog een aantal vragen gesteld over de bereikbaarheid tijdens het Perahera-festival. Ik kreeg een vraag terug wanneer we willen inchecken (wist ik op dat moment nog niet) en op de aankomstdag was er nog een bericht door de eigenaar gestuurd of ik onze komst wilde bevestigen (niet gezien). Bij aankomst zijn we op vrij lompe manier weggestuurd "omdat ik onze komst niet had bevedtigd". Nee, we zijn op reis en ik check niet elke minuut mijn mail. Ik heb niet eens het woord sorry gehoord, alleen maar dat het onze schuld is dat hij onze bevestigde kamer asn iemand anders heeft weggegeven. Ook geen assistentie om ander verblijf te vinden. Heel slecht dit!! Alles, want we hebben er nooit verbleven omdat deze lomperd onze kamer zo maar aan iemand anders heeft gegeven

Posizione a 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione, molto comoda per chi deve prendere il treno panoramico! Da rivedere la pulizia del bagno.

- Stanislav (9/5): Quiet and pleasant place - The place was quiet and peaceful, very close to the main road, but at the same time far from the city noise. With a nice garden where we enjoyed a cup of aromatic tea after the long day's journey. The hosts were very kind.
- Janneke (8/5): Lovely homestay - Very lovely owners in a nice house. Beds are as can be expected in Sri Lanka: hard bottom and sheets. We asked and got blankets, though. Bathroom is neat but small, shower is good. The area is off route, but that wasn't a problem for our goals. The owners arranged a tuktuk to go into town. Because of the remoteness, we had dinner at the guesthouse, which was very tasty. Breakfast was nice as well, with fried eggs, coconut rotti, fresh fruits, toast. Some cleaning could be done at the unvisable places, like underneath the shelf by the mirror. Lot of dust and spiderwebs there.

- Vicki (10/5): - Good location- not far to drive to Lion Rock. The host and his family were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner and the chef always came and asked if we enjoyed the meal. Loved everything
- Grace (5/5): - The location is very accessible close to the Kandy Railway station. The host couple are really warm and friendly and welcoming. The food they made was delicious our one year old loved walking around the garden. They also helped us to get our transportation sorted to get to the station at the last moment as our driver gave up on us. The showering facilities need urgent attention. There wasn't proper hot water to shower, they gave us a bucket on asking. But asked us to heat water in a kettle and use it for showering.

- Lottokingkay (7/5): Für uns lediglich eine Nacht zwecks Zugfahrt. - Diese Unterkunft war für uns nur eine Station, um von dort am nächsten Tag mit dem legendären Hochlandzug nach Ella zu fahren. Es ist kein Hotel, um dort länger Urlaub zu machen. Spannend sind die Affen, die morgens den Garten und die umliegenden Dächer bevölkern und für ein nettes Spektakel sorgen. Die Stadt Kandy ist sehr laut und bietet u. E. bis auf den Zahntempel ( wenn man sich dafür interessiert.) wenig Sehenswertes. Es gibt noch einen botanischen Garten, den wir aber nicht besucht haben. Lohnenswert ist ein Besuch des Ambuluwawa Tower ein paar Kilometer außerhalb von Kandy mit TukTuk oder Taxi gut zu erreichen. Für eine Nacht in Ordnung, der Bahnhof ist ca. zehn Minuten Fußweg entfernt.

- Żaneta (10/5): Great place! - Very nice place in the hustle and bustle Kandy! Located in the calm area, but close to main road and around 20 minutes walking from the train station (but walking isnt a good idea in this city, but you can easily catch the tuk-tuk). Beautiful garden, very nice living room and comfortable room. Bathroom was very clean. We got also delicious breakfast! The owner was so nice and hospitable! Everything was great
- clive (8/5): - Nice room. Quiet place in a busy city if you don't mind a 15 minute walk along a busy road from the lake to the property. Good breakfast. Bed in our room creaked everytime we moved! Also the design of the shower meant that it did not drain properly. No soap provided!
