• Elizabeth (10/5): - The continental breakfast and snacks were appropriate for us. We were able to head out early to get to our daily destinations and scheduled times. Angelo was an amazing host; he was available when we needed to get in touch, and he offered valuable insight and information about the city.
• Marc (10/5): This is a very nice guest house and we would highly recommend it but regrettably anyone with mobility issues will need t - Very nice old building with a well maintained guest room. We had the back room which was very quiet (except for kings day where no where was quiet). Angelo was a wonderful host, helpful and accommodating, Other reviews have warned of the steep stairs to reach the guest rooms on the third floor. That did not deter us but if Angelo hadn’t helped us with our bags when we checked in and out I’m not sure we could have done it. It is a narrow winding staircase and you need to take note. The pictures provided on the website are accurate.

• Jennalee (10/5): - This was the last stay of our trip before heading home and it was perfect. Close enough to the train station but not so close that it was a nightmare with noise (the closer you get to the city center the louder/busier it gets) host was very accommodating allowing us to leave luggage for a few hours after check out. Complimentary juice, water and champagne was a bonus :) nothing fancy but if you’re looking for function and location this checks all the boxes! Will note the stairs are very narrow and there are lots of them but this wasnt a problem since we had a small amount of luggage and are able bodied! Host did help us take our luggage up and down which was also a nice bonus i didnt expect! Thank you!

Merkezde yaygın bir durum bu normal ama aileler için konforlu olmayabilir.

Angelo the host, was very hospitable and accommodating. I was able to store my luggage prior to check in time. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bath and bathroom were superb. A long soak in the bath at the end of a day touring the city was incredibly welcomed. All in all, great place to stay. All great

• anna (10/5): 最高です！！！ - チェックイン時に立ち会ってくれたAngeloさんがとても親切で素晴らしかったです。滞在中も分からないことなどある時はすぐにWhatsAppで連絡を取って下さりました。おすすめの観光場所やお店、チーズ屋さんも教えてくれてお土産選びにとても助かりました。 部屋はとても清潔感があり、海外では珍しい室内スリッパがあったり、軽い軽食も常に用意されていて好きな時に食べれました。（ストロープワッフル、バナナ、みかん、シリアル、パン等） テレビはNetflixやYouTubeなどはありませんでしたが、オランダのものは観れました。Wi-Fiも無料であります。 また、毎日タオル交換や部屋の掃除もしてくれてとても気持ちよく過ごせました。 立地も最高で中心街にあり、滞在中お土産を沢山買った時は何度もホテルに置きに戻っていました。またAmsterdamに泊まり時はここに泊まると思います！ エレベーターがないことくらいです。階段も狭い為、重くて大きなキャリーは大変かもしれません。私は機内持ち込み用サイズなったので苦ではありませんでした。

• Leon (10/5): Great stay, ideally situated, close walk to all amenities. - The property was furnished very well, with some extra care into small amenities and to make it more comfortable. Not to mention the fridge very well stocked with snacks and drinks. Once we got used to the steep staircase it was perfect and made us appreciate that it’s the building style in Amsterdam.

De eigenaar verstaat het gastheerschap uitstekend en doet zijn best om je verblijf aangenaam te laten verlopen. De locatie in het centrum is echt fantastisch. Je zit op slechts een paar minuten lopen van het hart van het centrum. Ondanks de ligging is nachtrust geen probleem! Een goed betaalbare kamer op een bijzonder plekje! Omdat het een oud pand is, is het wel belangrijk op te letten als je gaat boeken dat je rekening houdt met stijle trappen.

• Dan (9/5): Very Comfortable, lots of little extras, prime location, fantastic host. - Its location was fantastic, only 10 min walk from the central station, and 5 mins to all of the shops and bars and restaurants etc. very large comfortable beds, and free snacks all day everyday which was a really nice added touch! Angelo was really helpful and was always on hand if anything was needed. The stairs!!!!! 🤣 all though we were more than aware of these prior to arriving, nothing can prepare you for these stairs, very steep but did not affect our stay in any way, just be prepared to go slow once a few beers have been consumed. One other thing to note is that there is Cannabis Cafe only a few doors down, and it’s quite a notable aroma at anytime of the day, again it didn’t really bother us too much but just worth mentioning.

A special mention goes to the host, who greeted us personally and took the time to explain everything in detail. His hospitality made our stay even better. Highly recommended!

Located mere steps from the beautiful canals, with lots of restaurants all walking distance. Walking distance as well to Centraal Station. To the left, you have the less touristy local part of town. To the right, a short walk to red light and a lot of other sites to see for travellers seeking to get the most of their visit. The only issue was that this room is on the third floor, and we had a lot of luggage. But Angelo helped both up and down, and was an outstanding host. Very friendly, very accommodating and outstanding communication throughout. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

They have coffee maker, cookies & fresh fruit. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants & shopping but was very quiet which was great for sleeping. There is no elevator/lift & The steps to the room are narrow & step but the owner Angelo, lives on site & very available & willing to assist with getting luggage up & down the steps.

When our flight home got canceled, Angelo was incredibly supportive and helped us out in every way possible. A huge thank you to him! We would definitely choose this accommodation again in a heartbeat!

You really don’t need to bring all these extras if you are staying at Crown Guesthouse. It is also right next to 90% of the touristy sites in Amsterdam center and everywhere is walkable. 12 mins to the train station, 10 mins from Anne Frank house, 20mins from Bloemenmarkt and red light district, tram and bus on the next street. Highly highly recommend Crown Guesthouse.

• Lance (10/5): Amazing Place To Stay In The Heart Of 'Dam - This was the first time I booked a BNB stay via the Hotels.com website. From the moment I booked it, Angelo was phenomenal in communicating. Having stayed at over one hundred BNBs in my travel I knew this was the sign of a great host. For those unfamiliar with Amsterdam, they have the steepest stairs around. And know that the first floor starts on the second story of a building. Angelo's place is up on the 3rd floor, so keep this in mind if you have heavy luggage as there's no elevator. The room itself was excellent! There is a ton of natura light, and a very large bathroom for Europe. The jacuzzi tub was a very nice touch, as well as the large walk-in shower too. The water was always hot and ready. The room has a fridge, as well as an electric kettle and instant coffee maker. Beyond the large bed, there's a nice couch and table to eat and/ or watch TV. This is a real gem in the heart of 'Dam. Located less than a ten-minute walk from Centraal, and close to some of the best sites the city has to offer. I will definitely be booking this place again in the future. Angelo was an amazing host and extremely accommodating.

Gave a really good map with a great hand drawn overview which came in really handy multiple times. Room was really unique and i absolutely love the giant window and plenty of space. Bathroom was clean, and room was cleaned / refreshed if I requested it. Location is amazing with everything you want as a tourist right at your doorstep, but still situated a street back from the noise, hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Just be warned that the stairs are a bit of a shock and might be a pretty tricky to get up if you have a heavy and bulky bag, but just added to the authenticity of the place. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for something unique and not a boring Hotel room. Not to mention there was nonstop snacks and Stroopwaffels whenever you wanted them. It is a 5-star hotel room in a guest house! Everything was perfect. I liked everything. The location is very central, so it is loud at night. However, Angelo leaves earplugs for you.

My only negative comment is nothing to do with the property, but the street it's on. The street was very dirty with trash strewn about during our stay, and there's a coffee shop just below the bed and breakfast which meant there was some loud yelling and residual scents on some nights of our stay. Overall, our stay was pleasant and Angelo went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

It is 3 flights up and the staircase is narrow and steep but this is quite typical of Amsterdam properties. Angelo, our host is absolutely wonderful! Full of tips for our stay, helped us with our luggage and even supplied some bubbles and cake for my partners birthday…would definitely recommend this place!

• YOSHIKAZU (10/5): - Excellent! We really enjoyed staying there. Complimentary smacks and drinks and Angelo helped us whatever we needed. As there are no elevator Angelo helped us carry our luggage to the third floor.
• Dane (10/5): - Very convenient location. Lovely room and very tidy. The stairs are very steep, but absolutely fine for a trade off as this BnB is lovely
• Adam (10/5): Perfect for short break - Persoanable experience. Welcomed on arrival. Amazing space in a close city.
