Everyone agreed that for a Saturday evening it was poor not even back ground music Our party only stayed 2 nights so Sunday entertainment was of no use to us The local pub was a great venue for all us hotel guests ( including most of the coach party) maybe the nights should be swopped around.

Corinne (8/5): Great staff all around. Good honest well run hotel and would definately return back here - Staff were spot on welcoming and very helpful especially as it was such a hot weekend. We were offered a fan straight away with pleasure. The room was fine a little small especially as it was so hot and the bathroom rather small too. The lounge was very restful and the bar area good. Would definitely stay here again because of the good staff all around and cleanliness. We would just opt for a larger room. Well done all first time in Morcambe and will return again soon and to this hotel!

Kyle (2/5): - There was a huge crack in our room on the wall, which made the room look extremely unpresentable and unfortunately this was not advertised on their own site as well as on Expedia. I paid over £230 for 2 nights in a box room with a crack going down one of the walls, it was extremely disappointing.

Fab location with lovely aspect looking out to the sea. We were also allowed to leave our car in the small car park and use the facilities after we checked out at 10.30am until leaving for home at 4.30pm which was great and much appreciated. This was our first time staying in Morecambe Bay and we couldn’t have chosen a better weekend, weather was amazing and we spent a lovely relaxing 2 days on the beach…. Felt like we were abroad. We will definitely return to this lovely town and The Auckland Hotel.

My only issue the bed valance in room 124 was damaged unfortunately it made the first impression of the room poor, worth replacing also the matress was in need of replacement as it was sunk to the shape of a body. Again really needs replacing. However i had a nice stay, please dont let my comments put you off, lovely hotel.

Returned to pick up our room key, room small with 2 single beds, was clean & comfortable, plenty of storage space with wardrobe, drawers & bedside drawers, had a Seaview room which was nice! Breakfast helped yourself to fruit juice, cereal, then could choose from the menu for a cooked breakfast which was then prepared fresh, along with tea/coffee, could ask for yoghurts & croissants. Staff friendly & helpful. Enjoyed our stay, good location to other amenities shops, pubs, & the beach & of course Eric Morecambe himself (statue).
