The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the picturesque town of Duderstadt, making it ideal for a quick stroll through the charming streets. It’s also a great spot if you enjoy running. There are beautiful back roads nearby that make for a peaceful and scenic run. What truly made the stay stand out was the incredible staff. A special thank you to Marie at the front desk and Jymmy in the restaurant. Both went above and beyond to ensure everything was outstanding throughout my stay. The restaurant is fantastic. I had the schnitzel, and it was absolutely incredible, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and feel very homey, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Duderstadt. It offers the perfect combination of location, comfort, and exceptional service.

Basen i spa na miejscu to niewątpliwe zalety, aczkolwiek nie zdążyliśmy skorzystać. Ogólny wystrój hotelu jest harmonijny i przemyślany. brak parkingu, śniadanie jest dość drogie. Widać zużycie hotelu (łuszcząca się farba, stary silikon w łazience), ale nie jest to wada wiedząc, jak stary jest budynek hotelowy.

Sei es vom Stil, Ambiente, die gelungene Mixtur aus altem Fachwerkbau und moderner Hotelerie. Der Blick auf die Kuchentheke bestätigt dies ebenfalls. Ich hätte gerne mehr Zeit dort verbracht. Ich würde es sagen aber es gab nichts negatives.

Florian (8/5): Der „Löwe“ ist in Duderstadt nicht nur ein Hotel, es ist ein Aushängeschild für die Stadt . Im Haupthaus eines der Beste - Die Lage in Duderstadt ist perfekt. Das Zimmer war,anders als suggeriert, NICHT im Haupthaus. Achtet man bei der Buchung nicht aufs kleingedruckte, landet man schnell in Dachgeschoss Zimmer in einem Nebengebäude. Weiter fühlte es sich unangenehm an, beim Check in während der Vorweihnachtszeit samt Gepäck durch irgendwelche Veranstaltungsräume / Weihnachtsfeiern geführt zu werden. Das Personal selbst hatte es sicherlich gut gemeint, aber diesen Prozess würde ich als Chef noch einmal überdenken.

Leider findt das Abendessen in zwei Schichten statt, um 17:30 und 19:30 Uhr. Egal, welche Zeit man wählt, man fühlt sich nicht wirklich wohl.

Such a quaint town and not 1 German person we met had ever heard of it It would be exceptional if breakfast was included. Or a simple continental coffee and some local pastries. Had a great dinner there and the femLs bar tender is awesome! The best Moscow mule ever!

Carmen (4/5): Eigentlich ein schönes Hotel aber mit überfordertem Servicepersonal - Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht. Beim Empfang wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass sich mein Zimmer im 3.Stock, 6 Treppen ohne Fahrstuhl befindet. Dies war auf der Buchungsseite leider nicht erkennbar. Als Alternative bekam ich bei einer Außentemperatur von 34 Grad ein Zimmer(28Grad) ohne Klimaanlage für einen Preisaufschlag von 10Euro. Die Rechnung für meine Übernachtung wurde nicht korrekt ausgestellt. Auf meine telefonische Bitte hin dies zu korrigieren, wurde ich von einer überforderten Rezeptionsangestellten sehr unfreundlich „abgefertigt“.

Preis war überhöht, Sonderangebot gab es für die Hälfte, so wurde ich gleich informiert. Auf die Frage, ob es dann das Frühstück gratis gibt, entschied sich jemand von der Geschäftsführung dagegen, befand es aber nicht für nötig, dies persönlich zu sagen. Eine junge Angestellte musste die Nachricht überbringen. Das geht gar nicht!!

Obgleich das Frühstück lecker und reichhaltig ist, finde ich 26 EUR pro Person doch recht überzogen. Leider hat das Hotel keine eigenen Parkplätze, in der Nähe befinden sich aber genug zu moderaten Preisen.

They didn’t provide any bottled water for our visit which was rather strange. There was also no kettle to boil water. We ended up drinking water from the tap. 2. It was rather cold In Duderstadt when we visited. The heating in the room didn’t work very well. Had to huddle under the blankets 3. Wished we had stayed at least another night

Silke (4/5): - Eine Buchung über Expedia führte zu einer Doppelbelastung beim Ausschecken, unfreundlicher Empfang beim Check in, sogenanntes Komfort Zimmer in 3. Etage entpuppte sich als klein mit sehr kleinem Fenster und teilweise sehr abgenutzten Möbel, Matratzen Kissen sind sehr gut, sehr freundlicher Service beim Abendessen, ein hervorragendes 4-Gang Menü genossen, dann sehr unschöner check out mit Doppelbelastung der Übernachtung und intransparenten Preisen zu den Uebernachtungskosten -
Rebecca (10/5): Comfy, clean, stylish and convenient. - Comfy and clean A smell near our front door/bathroom, it went away after a few days after it was cleaned properly I think. A kettle and tea cups / coffee machine would have been great also!

Birgit (8/5): - Schönes Zimmer, bis auf die Schiebetüre im Bad, sehr nettes Personal, zwei Ruhetage sind nicht gut, es gibt an diesen Tagen nichts zu essen und die Bar hat auch geschlossen. Hinzu kommt, dass fast alles Restaurants in Duderstadt auch am Montag geschlossen haben. Parkplatz nicht am Haus, zum be-und entladen sehr schwierig
