• Eliza (6/5): - Pros: The overall facility was well kept, tenants and staff were so friendly, they had great pools, and access to the beach and the room had a fan, which for me is a huge plus! Cons: there was mold/mildew in the air vents, behind toilet on the floor, the sheets didn't fit the sofa bed, which was horribly uncomfortable, the cable didn't work, so we had no way to watch TV. , several outlets didn't work, the ceiling was dusty., no late check out, all the items in the condo were functional, minus the cable, but very cheap.

• Viy (6/5): - We stayed in beachfront condo, the view was absolutely beautiful! Nice and quiet, easy parking. I booked through Expedia for 6 nights, paid for 6 nights. I received an email from the Property management (Vacasa) that we would be leaving after 5 nights. Called Expedia and they assured me we were there 6 nights. Never heard back from Expedia but did receive an email that we were out a day earlier than I had paid for. We had 4 women over the age of 65 looking for a place to relocate for one night. We had a couple women with air flights leaving after our 6 night. The last day of our vacation the 4 of us ended up in a Marriott Hotel in Pensacola(closer to airport) that had visible algae growing in their pool. I never thought I would go to Florida stay in a Marriott Hotel and not want to use their pool because it was not clean!! I’ve been home for a week and I have not received anything about who’s refunding my 6th night rental. Not sure whose mistake this was but neither are taking responsibility, therefore I’ll be on the phone AGAIN trying to get this resolved. So wish people would do there jobs and do them correctly!

• SHANNON (4/5): - Property is dated and is in need of updates and maintenance---Unit had several issues when we arrived including the glass shower door being off track and allowing shower water to run out on to the bathroom floor, the couch is old and looks like it make break in half at any time, the granite counter has a long crack in the middle of it and the washer was out of service when we arrived. Some items were fixed on day 2 and the washer was fixed on day 3 however the mgmt co entered the room without prior notice to us on day 3! Location is great though.

• Alyssa (2/5): - The condos were nice, they’re beach front with three pools and a small kids pool. Our particular unit had a bedbug issue which the rental management company dealt with us about. We discovered the bugs on our last night and up until then, we enjoyed the trip.
• Joshua (6/5): - Upon our arrival the couch and a deck chair were broken as well as dirty dishes in the cabinets. The shower door was not on the sliding track of the glass doors, leaking water on the floor. It was just small things but it is very accessible to the beach and in a great location.

• Tanya (8/5): Decent condo for the cost. - Bed was not comfortable but it worked. Internet wasn’t working the whole time we were there. Pools were nice and beach access was excellent. All in all it was a great stay, as we were gone most of the day and really only slept at the condo.
• Rhiannon (6/5): - The concession stand in the parking garage and kiddie pool were a huge hit for us. The beach access on the property was also great. Staff at the condominium were very nice and helpful. The condo itself however was a bit of a disappointment. It wasn’t what I would consider clean. It was also very outdated. Glasses in the cabinets were sticky and dirty. Having in condo laundry was a selling point for me but the dryer door popped open every 10 minutes. When we first got the condo my 3 year old took his shoes off and was complaining about the sand on his feet it was like the floors were never cleaned after the previous stay. I had to sweep upon arrival because there was so much sand on the floors thankfully I found a broom in one of the closets. Also the extra blankets in the closet I don’t think were washed. We found a used bandaid stuck to one… also don’t get me started about the DUST. The upstairs bedroom had dust on everything. The ceiling, the walls, the lampshades and the headboard.

• Rebekah (6/5): - No chairs or umbrella for the beach, so you have to rent them or go without. Only 4 bath towels provided, so we had to wash towels daily. Plenty of kitchen tools, plates, and pots and pans. Apartment is clean and is a good location.
• Barbara (2/5): - My experience at this condominium was quite disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the place had a strong musty and old smell. The mattress in one of the bedrooms was completely sunken and squeaked with every movement, making it very hard to get any rest. In that same room, the bathroom had an extremely small and uncomfortable shower. The second bedroom had no ceiling fan, and one of the pillows had a large stain that was honestly disgusting. The curtains were visibly dirty, and the only couch in the space was also stained. when we arrived As soon as we took off our shoes, we could feel sand on the floor, Another very uncomfortable issue was that the neighbors were constantly smoking marijuana, and the smell was very strong inside the unit. This was especially concerning since we were traveling with small children. The common hallways also had a very unpleasant smell, like urine, which added to the overall feeling Lastly, the kitchen was equipped with old, scratched, non-stickless pans, making it nearly impossible to cook anything properly. Pools with no clear water Overall, this is an old, poorly maintained condominium with serious cleanliness and comfort issues. We definitely won’t be staying here again, and we don’t recommend it — especially if you’re traveling with family.

• Kenneth (8/5): Okay - The a/c was not working when we arrived. The customer service line had the A/c repair person fix the a/c about 4 hours after it was reported. The furniture was old and stained, coffee table leg was loose, the ceiling fan had lots of dust on them. The location was great. Close to beach and good sea food restaurants. The location was quiet. Park was $35. Never had an issue finding a parking spot.

• Ryan (8/5): - If you are on a budget, this is the place for you. Just the basics: bed to sleep, bathroom & kitchen. Close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Easy access to the beach! The unit needs work, the washer needs cleaning and kitchen smells like a seafood boil was never cleaned.
• Te (8/5): All good. - We stayed at nearby Romar Beach during 2024, and learned that the east side of town seems a little less busy! During 2023 we were closer to town. The kitchen was well-prepared! Tile floors were absolutely filthy, we finally mopped every day for a week to get them half decent. The grout needs to be steamed! The automatic fan switch in the primary bath drove us crazy. The dining table could not accommodate more than 4 people at any one time. The dining chairs need cushions, and repairs! The temporary repairs were done by the same fellow who fixed the chandelier that fell. The stools outside are so rusty, no one could sit on them.
• kelsey (10/5): - I was a little nervous booking this property due to all the bad reviews, but the condo exceeded my expectations. It was clean and provided all of the necessities we needed. Towels, bath soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and a fully stocked kitchen was provided. The building is right on the beach and has two pools. The elevators were working fine while we were there and they were conveniently located in the parking garage. This condo was a great value!
• Nancy (8/5): - The condo we stayed in was very clean and nicely supplied with towels. Adequate room. There is a slight view of the beach from the balcony. The parking lot is full of potholes…hard to avoid with the parking situation. The elevator was broken down on checkout. We did find another one at the other end of the building. We thought the condo advertised a full bed and bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. It turned out to be full bunk beds. They would have been difficult for older people or taller people to use. We never figured out how to make the ice maker work. Appliance instructions would be helpful.
• Barb Wald, Angela Baker, Keri (10/5): - I booked this stay 6 months ahead of time and after booking, saw many unfavorable reviews posted. I was hoping I didn't make a huge mistake. What a nice surprise when we got there. It is a very cute place, very clean, plenty of room. If you are expecting The Ritz, then go stay at The Ritz. If you want someplace clean and comfortable, safe, quiet and on the beach, you won't be disappointed here. Dish soap, bath soap, dishwasher detergent. shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels and towels were all supplied. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. You do have to pay for parking, but it nice that it is under cover. They also have carts available to get luggage/groceries to your unit. I will definitely be coming back to Sugar Beach Condos!
• Leslie (6/5): - Property advertising was a little off. Did not let you lnow what amenities were actually needed. ( Towels, dish clothes, toilet amenities. ) This could of been explained in detail. Also when you say 4 adults and arrive with second bedroom with bink beds that just doesn't work. The sofa couch mattress was like sleeping on metal springs. This is not a Property I would stay at again. The kitchen pictures were not exactly what was shown. Little small when you have to use stove and refrigerator . The whole experience was not what was expected .

• Patricia (4/5): - Room had mold in bathroom. Comforter had dried blood stains on it. Furniture looked broken down in bedroom carpets old and needed updating. Sleeper sofa uncomfortable sagging. But on the upside bed was comfortable and air conditioning was perfect. Only view was tennis court.
• JOSE (10/5): - Check in is at 4pm which would be okay if check out wasn't at 10am. They knocked at our door 20 minutes before checkout. Its walking distance to the beach and the condo was nice with everything needed to make us feel welcome.

Once I arrived I had to call 3 different people who could no locate my reservation even though my credit card was charged. Once they “found” my reservation I got in the room and instantly realized it was not the room I booked, it was another one that was still available but smaller! The whole complex is dated and has the most uncomfortable bed. Sleeping on the sofa was better than being in a bed! I’ll NEVER go here again!
• Meghan (4/5): - Felt like a prison, surrounded by concrete. Outside was dirty. Room view was deceptive to online picture, it faces the street. Balcony sliding door did NOT lock. Microwave did not work, the bed was Terrible, need new mattress. Air conditioner unit needed filter changed. Whole room felt musty. Dryer lint filter would not stay in place. Fine if you don't plan on being in room much or making food or getting good sleep. Beach access was good.

This was after they moved our room due to a leaking ceiling. We were not accommodated in any way for the inconvenience! The air conditioner did not work well. The Televisions were not easy to operate, and there were no instructions. It was close to the beach!
• Amy (4/5): - Wouldn't stay in that condo room again, very overpriced, one toilet Wouldn't flush, toilet paper stuffed in ceiling fan to keep it from making a terrible noise, mixed matched furniture, shower head & baseboards were filthy. Coffe table dangerous, regular coffe pot but not the maker part, just very dissatisfied. Would never stay in room113 again.
• Lorin (8/5): It was really nice and relaxing and we all fit perfectly - Condo was so pretty and right on the beach Parking sucked and we had a water leak in master bedroom when it was storming. I called someone immediately and we spoke they called HOA but no one ever came.
• Sherri (6/5): - Washer lid broken, dryer runs w/door open, under bath sink rotted out, no water pressure for shower, lack of appropriate living rm curtain so unit was very hot in the PM, ice maker made very little ice
• Jeffrey (6/5): - We loved that the beach was right just a few steps away. But, with the lock on the door not working, and the only way to lock the door was the dead bolt, and that only worked while you were in the room. Also the lock on the balcony door didn't even exist. Kind of scary
• Kimberly (10/5): Affordable, clean, and great location - Older property but was very nice. The gate guards were really friendly and helpful. Didn’t meet any other staff. Love being in a place I can walk to the beach. There were four pools to choose from (one was for smaller kids which is great)
• David (8/5): - Everything was as presented on the online page and overall, very clean. The only issue we had, in the apartment we were in #150, was the shower in the hall bath did not work and had no handle or lever to operate it. Other than that, it was Ok for our needs!
• Danielle (2/5): - Make sure you request photos of your SPECIFIC UNIT before booking! The pictures advertised do not represent all the different condo units and we ended up not even staying in our reserved unit because it was so misleading and awful - missing bedding, a broken couch being held up by a dowel, broken porch furniture, moldy shower ceiling, and exposed wires. And although it said “gulf view”, it was definitely not! The building itself also reminded us of being in prison as you walk down the dark, closed hallway to different units. It was in a nice location and the pool area and beach access looked nice, we just chose not to stay in the unit that was completely misrepresented.
• Kylie (6/5): - I loved that it was a quaint little place on the beach. Pools looked nice. Beds were not comfortable and faucet in bathroom came off but had a nice time for the weekend.

• Melissa (10/5): - The condo we rented was very nice. Loved the place. The parking attendant was super nice. Felt safe on the property. It had four pools so they never felt crowded. The beach is right there so that’s super nice. They had pool toys my son played with, so we never really got ours out, which was nice. They’re doing some maintenance from the last hurricane, but we never heard any noise and it never bothered us, so that was a plus. Parking was never an issue. My son loved the pools. If you have a little toddler or baby, one of the pools is one foot deep so that is catered to them, which is super nice for parents of littles. Our condo had a washer/dryer, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and one bedroom, that slept 4. It was perfect for my husband, son, and myself. We enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be renting here again. The price is amazing as well. It’s close to some great seafood and shops in Orange Beach and close to Gulf State Park by car. Definitely recommend staying here.
• Aaron (10/5): - My two daughters and I stayed this past week in 311 and really enjoyed our time there. It’s not a fancy place by any means, but was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great and literally connected to the beach. We enjoyed all of the pools and of course the relaxation. If I had to give any negative feedback it would be regarding the concession stand down by the ground floor pools. It was not staffed well at all and was not able to keep up with the traffic that was trying to buy food, drinks etc. The price of the items at the stand were not appealing either
• Melissa (6/5): - This property is what I would call Budget Friendly. Fine for a last minute weekend trip. Not what I would ant for a week long vacation.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - Overall great stay. Location was perfect. Great for couples. General cleaning was fine but, needs a deep clean. Funky smell. Bed was comfortable and we saw no bugs.

• Marla (6/5): - The property was average place to stay. The halls were dark and dirty looking. Inside the condo was nice. One of the bathrooms, the shower didn’t work. It just looked like it needed to be painted. The parking was good, but it should have been free in my opinion. It was very quiet the first night, but the second night was very noisy. There was supposed to be a noise ordinance. I didn’t call or anything. I finally fell asleep. The bed slept ok. There were plenty of pillows in the condo.
• Felicia (7/5): Beautiful condo, ease of access to most amenities! - Loved that there was beach access right on property. Convenience of going from pool to beach The Sugar Shack food quality was not good at all. Over priced for the quality. Had an issue with the rental and communication was delayed and minimum but overall issue was resolved.
• Bogusia (8/5): It was a great stay for a family of ten at Orange beach - It was a very comfortable and clean property close to the beach. Worked perfectly for a family of ten The “heated pool” definitely didn’t feel heated

• Lacy (10/5): - Everything was amazing. It was very homey feeling and everything we needed was there for us. The only thing I was a little grossed out about was the downstairs carpet. It was very dirty and should probably be shampooed more often. We felt like we had to wear our shoes in the house the whole time we were downstairs. Other than that the stay was very peaceful.
• Cathy (3/5): Poor - There is plenty of sleeping room for our guests. Needed deep cleaning, main toilet rocked, smelled, did not have Beech front view like the pictures showed.
• Bridget (9/5): We had a wonderful trip and overall it was an excellent experience. - Loved all the different pools and beach access Garbage disposal didn’t work until fixed so there was a smell. Also the handyman acted as if we broke it, when we didn’t. The floors should’ve been mopped prior to our check in.

• Stephanie (4/5): - I did not care for the Condo we stayed at which was Sugar Beach 169. It was not the cleanest to say the least. I left it cleaner than what I came into. I did love that you walk straight from your Condo to the beach. I thought it was odd that the Sugar Shack (the snack shack) closes at 6 p.m. This should stay open way later to accommodate people coming in from long days. Park spaces were very tight. So if you have a truck it is not easy to park. I called about the dishwasher not closing/working and never received a call back when I was told management would call. The a/c did not work properly. Continually having to mess with it to keep the room cool. Not a place I would go again. The only benefit was I could walk to the beach and that's it.
• Maria (4/5): - Small Old property, in bad condition, 4 people can’t sleep comfortably, noisy AC. Leaking roof during the stay.
• Randy (8/5): - Conveniently located to state park bike trails. Major construction of a new high rise right next door was very noisy and distracting.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Budget friendly - Condo was nice. It needs a little deep cleaning. You hear the noises of the people above you. It was great for a budget friendly condo. They do not have a hot tub. The heated pool is outside. The beach was beautiful.
