• Holly (10/5): - We had the most incredible stay at Majo Private Villas — honestly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We loved it so much that we actually extended our trip because we didn’t want to leave! Everything was absolutely perfect. The villa itself was beautiful, the room was spotless, and the private pool was amazing. There genuinely wasn’t a single thing we could fault. What really made the experience unforgettable though was the staff. Jay and the entire team were always smiling, so attentive, and went above and beyond for us every single day. Their hospitality is truly next level. They even provide free bikes for guests, and when one of our tires popped while we were out, they told us to simply call them and they would come to us and fix it. That level of care and service is so rare and made us feel completely looked after throughout our stay. And I HAVE to mention the chicken sandwich… WOW. Without exaggerating, it was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’m already dreaming about it back in London and genuinely wish I could order one to be delivered home! Leaving Majo was honestly so sad for us because it had started to feel like home. Thank you so much to the entire MAJO team for making our stay so special, relaxing, and unforgettable. We’re already counting down until we come back next year ❤️ That we can’t live there for the rest of our lives

• Diana (10/5): Perfect - Each villa has its name, I was staying in Nirvana. Everything was great, there were a lot of plants at the villa, which made me feel like I was in the middle of nature. The swimming pool was clean and nice. The materials of furniture were really high quality. The shampoo and body wash smelled amazing. Also you have your own bicycle for free. All these small details made staying even more enjoyable. Also the staff was very friendly. Nothing, but I know that not all villas are the same, because at first I was offered another villa, and it looked not as good as Nirvana, because of many stains and less plants. But the staff offered me another villa, so even if you don’t like some exact villa, the staff will do anything they could to offer you the different one
• Chloe (10/5): - Couldn’t fault anything at Majo! The staff were incredible and so friendly, the villa was absolutely beautiful and spotless, and breakfast was delicious. The team really made you feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. There’s about a 20 minute walk to the main beaches either side of the island but no problem as there are bikes included in the hire, however wouldn’t be ideal if you aren’t very mobile.

Yolu biraz çamurluydu terlik diş fırçası diş macunu gibi hijyen ürünleri yoktu. Kahvaltı çeşitleri çok fazla değildi.

We loved that we could just contact them by WhatsApp, and we could have everything delivered to the villa. The floating breakfast was definitely a high point! We loved our villa, where we could have both luxury and privacy at once. It was a perfect honeymoon! We loved the location, in a quiet area, but close to both the beautiful north west side, and fun south east side.

They helped us for our snorkeling and we checked prices everywhere and their offer was the best and the most flexible. They assisted us in everything regarding that matter. It is extremely well located. Extremely clean. You have bikes so no need to handle that part as well. I could say more but seriously don’t think twice and just book. You will have a great stay.

• margot_camil_ (8/5): We would come back in a heartbeat - Our stay at Majo is unforgettable! All the staff was so warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful. We were also welcomed with a fantastic homemade drink on arrival, which I still find myself thinking about. I genuinely miss it! They even assisted us in renting an e-bike, which made exploring so much easier and more enjoyable. As we also arrived earlier on the island, they still allowed us to check in earlier :) The villa itself is spacious, clean and offers a level of privacy that makes it feel like your own little sanctuary. One detail that really stood out was their RO water system and you’ll notice the difference immediately. It’s a small touch that makes a big impact. They also offer happy hour with cocktails, which adds to the relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere should you want to enjoy more time within the villa. Breakfast is delicious, with great options to choose from and the fresh juices were amazing. The peaceful, beautiful time we spent here, along with our stay in Gili Trawangan, is something we will never forget. We had a problem with our laundry and a few items were unfortunately damaged. However, the staff was incredibly kind. They took responsibility and compensated us for the ruined clothes. Their response made a big difference

Personeel was echt super vriendelijk vooral de receptie man die altijd in is voor een gezellig praatje en een lach. Het ontbijt is goed met een hoop keuze Vroeg in de ochtend word er opgeroepen tot gebed op het eiland, hier kan de accomodatie niks aan doen maar je word er wel wakker van.

Το προσωπικό ήταν πραγματικά πολύ φιλικό, πάντα πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει και να κάνει τη διαμονή μας όσο πιο άνετη γίνεται. Η βίλα βρίσκεται σε ιδανικό σημείο, στο κέντρο του νησιού, κάτι που την κάνει πολύ πρακτική για μετακινήσεις, ενώ ταυτόχρονα προσφέρει απόλυτη ησυχία. Το μόνο που ακούς είναι οι ήχοι της φύσης, κάτι που σε χαλαρώνει από την πρώτη στιγμή. Μας άρεσε ιδιαίτερα το γεγονός ότι παρέχονται δωρεάν ποδήλατα, καθώς και η δυνατότητα να σου σερβίρουν το πρωινό απευθείας στη βίλα. Κάθε μέρα απλώς στέλναμε μέσω WhatsApp τι θέλαμε για πρωινό και μέσα σε λίγα λεπτά ερχόταν στον χώρο μας — μια λεπτομέρεια που κάνει τη διαφορά και ανεβάζει πολύ την εμπειρία. Σίγουρα θα την προτείναμε και θα θέλαμε να επιστρέψουμε. Όλα ήταν εξαιρετικά — πραγματικά είχαμε μια υπέροχη διαμονή

• Petr (10/5): - Провели на MAJO Private Villas три ночи. Отель вышел с мной на связь за три дня до приезда. Написали сообщение с рекомендациями по трансферу от порта до виллы (с указанием правильных цен на транспорт, услуг предоставляемых отелем и прочих полезных советов). Виллы небольшие по размеру, но правильно спланированы. Территория очень ухоженная (чисто, красивые растения). Персонал на вилах очень приветливый и добродушный. Хороший завтрак и очень хороший кофе. Кровать удобная. Предоставляются бесплатные велосипеды, чтобы гости могли перемещаться по острову. Велосипед - это было отдельное удовольствие, т.к. не ездил на нем 20 лет ))). На мой взгляд расположение виллы - идеальное. Она находится в центре острова, на дороге, которая пересекает остров по середине. По этой причине до всех крайних точек острова одинаковое расстояние. Спасибо большое персоналу за незабываемый отдых! Если повезет оказаться на Гили еще раз - приеду к Вам ))) Такого не было. Все было очень хорошо
• Aya (10/5): Just amazing - Where do I start!!! I absolutely loved my stay here. I equally wanted to stay in and enjoy the villa as I wanted to go out and explore Gili Trawangan. The aesthetic was 10/10, it was so boho chic, classy and modern. The staff were absolutely amazing, everyone was SOOOO kind especially Dani the manager and Jay who was at the front. They offer so much help and even helped me organise my husband’s birthday, decorating the room and giving us a floating breakfast. They offer complimentary bikes so no need to rent them. They helped us organise transport. They accommodated our dietary requirements. Not to mention the most important thing for me was the villa was completely private so hijabi friendly. As a Muslim couple privacy is very important and we’ve found many other villas which claim to be private aren’t. But Majo definitely is so as a hijabi I was able to enjoy the sun. I absolutely loved my stay here, and would definitely recommend. Working on posting my TikTok review soon ☺️ That I didn’t book more nights. The breakfast menu could have more selection like french toast and English breaky with sausages etc but that’s just a suggestion because the breakfast was definitely delicious and 10/10

They arranged our transport to the island, as well as the horse cart from the port directly to the hotel. Check-in drinks were lovely and we immediately felt right at home.

• Jonathan (7/5): Overall it was ok! - The staff were super friendly! The villa itself is really good. We stayed here in 2019 after it had just opened so that’s why we returned as our experience then was amazing! Unfortunately not much has been done to upkeep the general areas and the villas. The first time we stayed the place was stunning and brand new obviously and the place was really busy and had a great atmosphere with people drinking at the pool bar etc, this time the place was dead and we didn’t see any other guests. The villa had become very old looking and needed some renovations! The saving grace was the staff who were super friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Dog lidt problematisk med nærliggende moské og morgenbøn kl 4 - Villaen, poolen og udendørsområdet ved villaen var virkelig dejligt og hyggeligt. Det var en skøn pool - perfekt størrelse, og der var god mulighed for at hygge sig ved villaen både i sol, skygge og om aftenen. Sengen var god og det udendørs bad var super lækkert. Personalet var også super søde. Dejligt at man gratis kan låne cykler at køre rundt på - selvom de måske godt kunne trænge til lidt luft :-) Det, der desværre ødelagde det lidt for os - og som ikke er overnatningsstedets skyld - var, at der ligger en moské tæt på (eller højtalere tilhørende en moské), og der blev kaldt til morgenbøn af flere omgange startende fra kl 4.15 om morgenen. Det gjorde desværre, at vi vågnede og ikke kunne sove igen - fordi det var ret højt (vi havde endda ørepropper i), og det kom af flere omgange. Det påvirkede desværre lidt ferien, hvilket er ærgerligt. Ift. selve overnatningsstedet, så var det generelt super dejligt, men vi oplevede en enkelt gang at få morgenmaden leveret 20 min. senere end aftalt, og så glemte de room service (rengøring mv.) en enkelt dag, hvor vi kom hjem om eftermiddagen til rester fra morgenmaden, der stadig stod på bordet. Men det kan ske, at det glemmes, men når man lige kommer fra to steder, hvor servicen var helt sublim, så lægger man desværre mærke til sådan nogle ting, og det påvirker den overordnede vurdering. Morgenmaden var god, men igen kom vi fra steder med bedre morgenmad og udvalg. Fx synes vi, at det var lidt fjollet at skulle betale ekstra for iskaffe frem for alm. kaffe til morgenmaden eller en frugtplatte - men dette mest fordi, vi kom fra noget helt andet andre steder, så det kom lidt bag på os. Men personalet var super søde - så intet dårligt om dem. Og Majo Villas er også 4-stjernet og ikke 5-stjernet, som vi har været vant til, hvorfor vi nok ikke bør sammenligne så meget. Placeringen får ikke topkarakter pga moskéen, men udover den, så ligger villaen faktisk super fint ift. at cykle rundt til alting nemt og hurtigt.
• Christian (10/5): Wunderbare und wirklich private Willen auf Gili T - Sehr gute Unterkunft mit überdurchschnittlicher Ausstattung, viel Privatsphäre und großem privaten Pool und schönem kleinen Garten. Dazu sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Man kann sich das Frühstück auch in die Villa liefern lassen oder es am zentralen Pool haben. Die Lage ist Zentral auf der Insel und damit relativ geschützt vom Trubel und den Geräuschen der größeren Hotelregion in der Nähe des Wassers. Man ist überall in 10-15mins mit den kostenfreien Fahrrädern. Einziger kleiner Abzug. Die letzten Meter des Weges zu den MAJO Villas sind nicht gut ausgeschildert und teilweise auch nicht betoniert oder gepflastert. Wie überall in Indonesien gibt es ein paar nicht fertig gestellte Gebäude oder Flächen im Umbruch auf dem Weg. Das Gefühl in der Anlage stört das nicht.

• Cynthia (8/5): - Alles wat je nodig hebt was in de kamer te vinden, daarnaast is alles volledig afgeschermd en écht privé. De service en het personeel zijn echt top. Ze springen meteen in de houding om te helpen. De staat van de villa liet soms wat te wensen over. De houten planken in de tuin zitten op bepaalde plekken los en er steken op sommige plekken spijkers uit (zeer gevaarlijk). Ook missen er verschillende tegels in het zwembad. Het onderhoud van de villa's mag dus wel beter.

• Stefan (9/5): Prachtig, we komen zeker terug! - Ligging was ideaal, midden van het eiland waardoor je makkelijk naar sunset beach en uitgaansbuurt kon. Privé zwembad in een hele mooi setting. Vriendelijkheid van het personeel en persoonlijk ontvangst van Dani! Ontbijt keuze viel wat tegen. Handdoeken aan zwembad werden enkel verwisseld op vraag.
• Sharay (10/5): Espectacular - La verdad es que el recibimiento por parte del personal es increíble. Súper atentos y en todo momento piensan en el cliente y su comodidad. La villa es super bonita, con la piscina y con el desayuno flotante hacen la experiencia espectacular. Una pena que hayamos podido alojarnos al final una noche en este sitio. El precio es un poco elevado en comparación a otros sitios y además no pudimos disfrutar de todos los días que habíamos cogido por complicaciones nuestras.

• Monet (8/5): Beautiful villa - More inland of Gili T - The villa was beautiful, we received a welcome drink on arrival (I can’t remember what it was called) but it had ginger in and was gorgeous and some fruit which was lovely. Room was small but beautiful and smelt gorgeous! we rented the electric bikes as the hotel was approx 10 min drive from the port and we had 2 small cases. I absolutely REFUSE to get on those horses! The property is more inland of Gili T and the surrounding area is abit of a dumping ground. We also was aware of the outdoor shower which was something we wanted to experience in Bali but personal preference is not our thing. Our TV also wasn’t working on our first night but was fixed for us on the 2nd.

• Iliana (10/5): Amazing Stay! - We had an excellent stay at Majo Villa. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and you can clearly see the attention to detail throughout the property. However, what truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff. A very special thank you to Dodik, who helped us with everything we needed from the moment we arrived. He also arranged a fantastic private snorkeling trip for us, which we absolutely enjoyed. Everyone was incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming, making us feel really at home. We would highly recommend Majo Villa and we would definitely choose to stay here again!

• Maria (10/5): One of the best accommodations I’ve ever stayed in! - It truly felt like a dream house — with a spotless pool, an amazing lounge area, and a beautifully decorated and fully equipped room. The staff were incredibly attentive and always quick to respond to our needs. During my stay, I had two personal issues (not related to the accommodation itself), and the team went above and beyond to help me solve everything quickly and free of charge. One of the situations was that I forgot my wedding ring inside the safety box and only realized it when I was already on another island. As soon as I contacted them, they immediately found a trustworthy person to bring my ring by boat all the way to Gili Air. They were genuinely caring and followed up until the very end. A huge thank you to everyone — you made my stay unforgettable! I definitely want to go there again.
