- Steven (6/5): - It’s def not the ritz but the staff is very kind. I’ve stayed in a lot worse places over the years but they could def improve on cleanliness. The bathroom smelled terrible. But location is good and the price is very fair. Very close to Tahrir square in downtown and a good place to stay if you are visiting the Giza pyramids as a budget traveler

- Yingqin (8/5): Nice hotel in Cairo - We like this hostel overall , but we don't like the check-in process, as the hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, no access from the ground floor unless you have an access card, which you'll get after you check-in. Free breakfast is served, with great coffee and tea, basic but nice. Parking is right by the street, but you need luck to find one.
- August (8/5): This hotel is in a perfect location for sights ! - My stay was GREAT. Aya and the staff were very nice. They offer directions and local attractions to visit. Every morning we received breakfast and very friendly customer service.

- photographer360 (2/5): Very Bad experience - i'm a tour guide photographer traveler and i was looking for a hotel in Downtown of Cairo and i found this hotel and i called them to book 5 nights my stay in Cairo , when i arrived i talked with the receptions was a girl about facilities like breakfast wifi which is important for my work on my laptop , and she said yes we have good wifi , she asked about money so i left again to ATM nearby and get the money because they have not online or credit payment , so i put my suitcase in the room and left , when i back i payed for the 5 nights and asked them for the wifi password , she tried to explain that i need to go to a website and do some stuff to connect but nothing so she tried to made for me but she asked help from an other guy who made me connect then they left the room after they stayed more thn 15 mins , i picked up my laptop to connect and do some work but was perfectly slow and nothing open even google , i called them but nothing , so i packed again and told her i'm leaving coz i can not stay 5 nights without wifif coz my own work , she reacted angry and she tried to talk to move me to an other room i said to her the problem not in the room signal it is the wifif itself not good and not connected very well , otherwise i wanna leave and need my payment back she said ok but she gave me back all my payment for 5 nights i asked her why she said you used the room i said for a half an hour 15 mins of them you and your colleague with me for the wifi , i asked her to talk with the manager she said i'm the manager lol ok the owner she said he is abroad , so , she insist to take one night payment and she starts to act in front of the cameras of the lobby as dispersed and scary , i got it and i left to her half night price and got the rest and left , the room has no minibar and was not that clean with smell , feeling sorry for this bad experience and not good attuite

- Aussiebackpacker10 (10/5): Stay here if you're in Cairo! - This is a great hotel! It's situated 2 mins walk from the Egyptian Museum in Tahir Square in the centre of town. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious with surrounding shops and restaurants only a stones throw away. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly and will accommodate all your needs and will go above and beyond to help. Tours are organised at an affordable price. Free breakfast is provided every day and everyone is eager to help to make sure your time in Egypt is enjoyable. I was a solo female traveller and had some apprehensions about coming to Egypt, but staying at this hotel and meeting the staff here put all those fears at ease! I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here if you're looking for cheap accommodation in the centre of town, tour assistance and welcoming staff.
- aymangabdelsalam (2/5): Horrible experience - I visited this place for second time in January 2018 after my last visit to it was ok, I had an Exam for an important job the next day and i told the staff that, I was surprised that the room was very cold with no blankets, even part of the window cannot be closed so i could not sleep the whole night!, What shocked me the most was the staff response to the problems that i encountered, They told me that there was no blankets (in jan. If you can imagine this!!) and that the room cannot be changed!, I went there at about 11 PM after a long trip from Alexandria so it was too late to change the hotel Please avoid at all costs!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This hotel is just across the street from the Go Bus station Tahrir, so very easy to get to.This is a very important plus in Cairo. I was very warmly received by the staff, especially Sherif, who came down to help me with my luggage and went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed. I found all the staff to be very nice folks.The room was big and comfortable, though quite basic. The breakfast was pretty basic too, but sufficient. This is a no frills place but light and airy with huge windows with views to the square. The lift is also very decent and new compared to most I have seen. If you have stayed downtown in Cairo hotels and hostels you will notice the difference. All in all, a very good stay. It really served the purpose for what I needed and for a very economical price.
- ramyg90x (4/5): Really dropped :/ - Was super disappointed in my last visit in January First let me start with the only good thing :staff they try to help but they are really limited in resources Rooms window was broken in 2 rooms we booked and they couldn’t do anything about it When we asked for extra covers they couldn’t provide for first night and second night managed to bring only 1!!! Room service of course none apart from ‘breakfast’ which is really nothing in portion size Place used to be acceptable years ago now I was shocked :/
- Ramasubramanian (10/5): My Hotel experience at Invitation Hotel, Cairo - Hotel Invitation is located at the heart of the Down town with a 3 mins walking distance to Cairo Museum. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Mr.Sherif who runs the hotel is very resourceful and can arrange end to end tour packages at economical price all across Eqypt! I liked their hospitality and customer centric mindset. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are looking for decent and economical stay at the heart of Cairo city!

- ramyg90x (8/5): Super friendly staff - The only reason am not giving this place 5 starts is simply because it won’t b fair for proper hotels :) As a hostel I was astonished by the friendliness of staff,clean room ,every one doing their best to give us everything they can We booked 2 family rooms in a very very short note arrived everything was ready for us The place is just 5 min walking from the Egyptian museum and many other attractions Highly recommend for low budget travelers

- ValerieVFilion (10/5): Great budget experience - I had a great stay. The room was very cheap and it even included a free airport pickup plus breakfast. When I came back later than planned they checked on me to make sure all was fine. All the staff was very nice to me. They offered to make breakfast earlier to be able to leave early for the airport and booked everything for me. The hotel looks old, especially bathrooms, but everything worked and the room was big with ac, heater, TV... I booked tours with the hotel, they had the best prices among diferent places where I asked. Mohamed was my guide and he was very helpful. I told him I was on a budget and he told me things as they are and really helped me to adapt the tours to my needs. If you are looking for a cheap quiet place close to the museum, I would definately recommend
- achommer (10/5): Low- budget accommodation with Egyptian hospitality - This accommodation is good for someone who wants to experience Egyptian hospitality on a budget. It's located in the heart of Cairo, a 5 minute walk to Tahir Square and the Egyptian Museum. The hotel is set-up more like a hostel than a hotel, with some rooms having bathrooms outside the rooms. There's free Wifi to use. They also provide breakfast in the morning. I had to leave earlier than they served breakfast but it was no problem and they made sure I got what I wanted before I left. They arranged a ride to the airport for me as well. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

- michaellV3450TB (8/5): Good for the price - The staff at the Invitation hotel are very kind and the free airport pick-up is a huge plus. The rooms are basic, but I didn't expect much from the price. The location is excellent and puts you at the center of everything in Cairo. The wifi is slow and basic. The single rooms are somewhat clean, but its a bit difficult to take a shower as the water is not very warm and splashes everywhere. The breakfast is VERY simple, so don't expect anything GRAND. Just bread and a boiled egg with tea or coffee. If you're looking for a cheap way to explore Cairo, this is a great investment.
- AnjanSarkar (4/5): Not Good for Couples - The rooms were not particularly clean and my request was for a room with a double bed was honored for only 2 out of 5 nights. We were moved to other rooms with twin beds, because a room with a double bed was "not available". The en-suite as well as shared bathrooms however, were clean and had hot water. The breakfast was the worst part of the stay, with one just piece of bread cut in half with some jam, cheese and one boiled egg. There was no salt and pepper and we had to ask for it everyday. And even then we were told that it was "finished" one morning. The staff at this hostel were generally nice and friendly and helped me plan out our tour of Egypt. The arrangements were a little short of okay, so I would not recommend anyone else to go for it. Besides, I am not sure if I have ever paid a hostel 100% in advance anywhere else, but seems like here it is expected.
- modsaid (6/5): not bad for a single - The staff is very cooperative and friendly. the rooms are generally humble, not so luxurious... but good enough for the night... the bed in my room was close to the window and you can see the streets from there... which is cool.. you can rely on the morning light to wake you up in the morning :) Never had the chance to try breakfast I wouldn't recommend it for a family, but it is good enough for a single traveler One more note, if you are coming from south cairo, and relying on google maps.. this will drive you through tahrir square which is blocked nowadays...
- Breeeee (6/5): Better, cheaper options moments away. - While the staff at the Invitation hotel were lovely, and generally average rooms for Egypt - not particularily clean, and the food was VERY bad, considering how much they charge for it (just basic bread, a boiled egg and some jam) for the price you can find much cleaner, nicer, larger rooms a few blocks away in downtown Cairo, which you'll find yourself getting hassled much less due to the volume of people, find nicer shops, and generally have a more authentic experience once you move away from the Highway. I'd highly recommend Dina's Hostel only a few blocks away for almost exactly the same price.

They help me to find places out and give you the leads to nice restaurants.The hostel located in Downtown Which almost close to everything "shopping, Coptic area , Islamic area and Egyptian museum. I could see The Nile , Cairo tower from my window.I will come back again and I recommend it to all my friends.
- posidrive (6/5): A safe haven in a mad place!!! - We travelled to Cairo for two reasons, the 1st to get married and the 2nd to apply for a visa for my husband. I booked the Invitation Hotel as it appeared to be the only hotel which had good reviews. The hotel is tired and a little cold but to be honest the staff were so lovely and supportive, we hid away in our room at the end of exhausting days running around trying to collect all the necessary paperwork. The hotel offered to collect us from the bus station and kept in contact with me via email and sms. The breakfast is included and it is rolls, eggs and cheese. Not bad really for only £16 for a double room in the middle of the Cairo. I would recommend you stay at the hotel as the staff are very supportive and caring and will go out of their way to make sure you are okay.
- Luigi-Li (10/5): An UNFORGETTABLE experience in Cairo!!! - I spent my birthday in Egypt.. started in Cairo and ended up in Luxor... The hotel is 3* with a 7* service!! Yes people.. The staff at this place is simply THE BEST!! When we first checked in we were offered a welcome drink.. Whatever we wanted.. no alcohol.. then they gave us the room.. And done! We arranged the pyramid tour with them... Very reasonable price for two! After reading so much of Egypt and how tourist get hassled to buy things When you arrive.. I told Shariffa and Sheri that I do not want to stop anywhere to buy anything.. we went to the tour (Nov 10th) and it was DONE as promissed! After we came back from seeing the pyramids and riding a camel (AMAZING experience) the Mohammed (hotel host) asked me to please come back to the lobby after taking a shower and changing.. They had a surprise for me... People: They bought me a Chocolate cake and sang Happy Birthday to me! This Made my stay an UNFORGETTABLE experience!! I felt a home at all times and I made three new friends.. Thank you for everything "Shariffa", "Sheri", and "Mohammed" The hotel is located in Downtown Cairo, behind the Egyptian museum (a must see).. now keep in mind you will hear the cars from the street. In reality.. You will hear noise at any place in Downtown Cairo! Please do yourself a favor and stay here if you visit Cairo.. the value for money is great! Luigi
