• Hannah (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay here. Such a lovely, spacious room with balcony overlooking beautiful views of Kandy. Comfortable bed and little kitchenette which was quite handy to have. Owner was lovely. Would happily stay here again. Bathroom is slightly small with the shower and toilet being close together but didn’t really hinder our experience.

The host was friendly and helpful, and everything worked smoothly during our stay. If you’re looking for a simple, budget-friendly place to stay, this is a solid option.

• Wilson (8/5): - Perfect for one night in Kandy. Easy walk to Kandy Lake and Temple of the Tooth. Private suite up a staircase. Has a small fridge and kitchen area with kettle and coffee or tea supplies. Good AC and a fan and a hot shower. Simple accommodations perfect for one night with two beds. Good communication with host and about 300 LKR on PickMe to the Train/Bus station. The bathroom door doesn't close properly but that's minor.

• Bojana P. (10/5): - Big room with a terrasse view, kitchenette. Just above the lake roads, quiet but walking distance to everything. Great value for the price. Well, it's the only room in a house where the owners are hard to contact. But that could be a plus, depending on your attitude.

• Madeleine (6/5): - Excellent location - close to the lake and the town. Separate entrance to the property. Kitchen facility (fridge, sink and a few plates and cutlery available to use). Great value for money Bathroom was a bit narrow.

• Lori (10/5): Great place!!! - Very spacious and cozy room. It feels more like an apartment with the kitchenette. Lovely balcony and view. Great location. Small bathroom. The toilet is pretty much in the shower but it works. They make up for it with all the room space.

It was little hard to fond the place as the ditectiona shown in Booking.com is not accurate. Met the expectations and will use again.

• Daniel (9/5): Superb - Very close to the lake in a nice and green uphill road, less than 15min from temple tooth. Comfy and clean, with very nice staff.

• Cinzia (8/5): Would have expected a bit more. - The place is located close to the lake in an residential area. There was hot water. Nobody gave me any tips or explanations of wifi, payment. I was alone in the house. I am not sure there are more then one room.
• Bazzana (7/5): Good - Comfortable bed, reasonable price. Good location within 20 minutes walk to centre of town around the lake. The place was a little difficult to find. The sign should be moved over to the right so that it is easier to identify. We went to the wrong door to start with. Also I'm not sure why is it called a resort. It is just a room with an ok lookout.

• Neele (10/5): Quiet and lovely place to explore Kandy - The room is very spacious (we used it with two) and has everything you need. For us it was perfect to have a sink and a little fridge to prepare own breakfast. Also there is a big balcony, which is really nice to sit on and observe the monkeys :) The host was also quite helpful and friendly, but you had a lot of privacy! Its 15 minutes walking distance to the centre, always along the lake, so we really enjoyed the location of it. A mosquito net would be great, even if we havent had many during our stay. and maybe few more bowls/cutlery.
• Thamara (10/5): Perfect stay - My family of three stayed here for one day, and our experience was superb. The hotel is located in a calm environment, free from noise, yet conveniently close to the town just far enough to feel peaceful but not too far for easy access. It will be bit confusing to find the place at once but there's name board on the wall. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a vacation. We chose not to interact much with the owner as we preferred privacy, and our needs were met without disturbance. The spacious triple room was well-ventilated, featuring two comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a fan. The room was clean, neatly arranged, and equipped with a small kitchen, some cooking equipment, and a mini fridge. While the bathroom was a bit cramped, it was functional, with hot water and everything in working order. Overall, it was well worth the price, and we were satisfied with our stay. I highly recommend this place for small families looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot. Noting. Wish bathroom may be more spacious.

• Shilpi (8/5): Very good - Location All amenities in room except iron was not there and we didn't want to ask the host again as their helper was always busy. AC is bit outdated just surviving Water pressure was a lot that it hurt in toilet and the space in toilet was not sufficient Lack of warmth and reception by hosts and very secluded behaviour, we always felt we were disturbing them if we ever needed to call or visit them for any help or guidance needed because of their cold responses.
• Andrew (8/5): Quiet place near Kandy lake - Mostly clean and quiet, and close to the lake. R Room had small fridge to store food. Almost no places to get meals within walking distance. Some cleaning between occupants was missed, such as used soap in shower soap holder. Wifi in room was not providing internet access, though they were able to provide alternative wifi with working internet.

• Kevin (7/5): Good - Stayed overnight at Crystal lake. GPS directions from booking.com were close but out by a few houses. Property is further up hill by 300 metres. Room guy met me. Enough room for my car in front of property. Room up stairs. 2 beds, single and double. Fan and aircon. Wifi good. Kitchen area as you enter room. Small fridge, sink, kettle. Kettle was faulty so guy replaced. Bed was comfortable. 300m to nice cafe on main road. About 1.2 KMs into town. About 15 min walk. Bathroom was small compared to bedroom. Not much room when sitting on toilet. Shower has low shower outlet. Had to make sure doors were closed as Monkeys everywhere. I gave a 7 because of bathroom, but stay was ok for overnight trip to Kandy. Tv no go.
• Janoušková (4/5): Noisy place - Good location, near center. I booked an upstairs room with the balcony, but I didnt get it. I got an downstairs one, which was very dark. And had doors to the owners place, so I could hear TV, their talk ….everything. Beside the house is a school, and the kids played every morning football and were really noisy.
• Michael (10/5): Well equipped spacious apartment close to lake - Clean and spacious apartment with 1 comfortable double bed and 1 single bed, hot shower, towels, toilet paper, AC and fan, Moskito net. Kitchenette with electric kettle and fridge. Quiet location close to the lake and a bus station or a 15min walk into town. We paid 15$ a night which is worth it. Everything was as described or shown on the pictures. Easy check-in and check-out procedure, definitely recommend. Nothing to complain about. The kitchenette could be improved with a little more cooking facilities, but for us it was perfectly fine and it was more than we expected.

• James (8/5): Great stay other than a couple of minor issues - Room was a good size and very spacious with a kitchenette within the room which was really handy. Balcony was nice to sit on albeit slightly small. Staff were friendly. Location was good for a slightly quite stay as it was about a 20 minute walk round the lake from the centre of town. Unfortunately there was an issue with our room upon arrival as we were told something needed to be fixed. Originally we were offered to stay at their other hotel however this would of only been for one night and we would have to come back for our second night. We must of looked quite disappointed this to which they said we could fix the issue but we would have to wait 30 minutes. Also we were woken at 1am on our first night by the AC unit dripping water onto our faces!!

• Kushalitha (10/5): All Facilities for the Affordable Price - Great place, friendly staff, had a room with private bathroom and there is hot water available. the room was very clean and well kept. There's a small kitchen for the apartment and nice to having a fridge and kettle. It's a less than 5 min walk to the lake. TV and free Wi-Fi available. Worth for the money. Bathroom a bit small for the size of the apartment but it's ok for one or two nights.
• Elena (6/5): Pleasant - Hosts provided soap, toilet paper and towels. The room was fine all in all. Hosts had difficulties with getting things clear with the website. They either did not understand the fact that we did book a room in advance or could not see it. They just kept us outside with bags for 10 mins. In the evening we again had to wait for them to open the gates they closed because of the dog, although we repeatedly asked to let us in as we were not afraid of the lovely dog. They simply did not care. Bedsheets did not seem very clean.

Perfect location, we saw everything we needed to on foot, just needed tuktuk to get to train station next day. Bathroom a bit small for the size of the apartment, but fine for a night or two
