• Wade (10/5): - Beautiful location, with stunning views. Owners and staff very welcoming and friendly, attending all our needs. Restaurant provide excellent food, at breakfast, lunch and dinner,with extensive wine selection. This is an exceptional place for couples to enjoy a peaceful retreat.
• Juris (9/5): - A real highlight of this hotel is the food. They clearly have a very good chef — breakfast was excellent, and dinner was especially good. This hotel is very weather-dependent. If it rains, there is not much to do besides staying in your room or going to the jacuzzi. Of course, the hotel cannot control the weather, but guests should be aware of this. On a sunny day, however, the pool and quiet sunbathing area are perfect. It is a great place to disconnect and enjoy peace away from everyday noise.

También decir que las instalaciones necesitan de algún mantenimiento sobre todo en las zonas exteriores.

Recomiendo cenar todas las noches en el restaurante: excelente calidad precio y algunos platos sorprendentes. En nuestra habitación había algún pequeño ruido de fondo de alguna máquina de otra la estancia o de las cocinas.
• ROBERT (9/5): Perfect stay in a lovely boutique finca situated in the mountains outside Altea - Great location, very manageable directions and no problems with finding and accessing the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. No expense spared when designing and fitting out the bedroom/bathroom. Room had direct garden access with available sun loungers. The food was excellent. Set menu was as good if not better than anywhere we have experienced in our years on the Northern Costa Blanca, worth coming just for that. Lovely terrace with Mountain View’s where you can enjoy lunch and afternoon/evening drinks (subject to weather) Ample parking . Adults only restriction is both understandable and welcome. Nothing , it was perfect.

Alles ist bis ins Detail eingerichtet und wirkt aus Gästesicht durchdacht. Das Frühstück ist qualitativ hochwertig, ausgesucht und das Buffet nicht überladen, daher nachhaltig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Sitzbereich und ein stilvolles Himmelbett mitten im Zimmer mit atemberaubendem Blick in die Landschaft. Es gibt Sauna, Jacuzzi und Pool, Liegewiesen und schöne Aussenbereiche zum Frühstücken, Abendessen und zum Aufenthalt. Wir wollten dort nicht essen, da mir das Menue eigentlich nicht zusagte. Nach der Anfahrt haben wir uns aber 'Gott sei Dank' anders entschieden! Das Essen war mega! Ich habe dort meinen 75 zigsten Geburtstag ganz in Ruhe mit meinem Mann gefeiert, die Anfahrt zur Finca ist eng, steil und holperig. Ich bin unseren Kombi selbst gefahren und ich würde es immer wieder tun!

• Sharon (8/5): Finca El Tosall – Stunning views & Michelin food, but pack your own kettle - We stayed 3 nights and Finca El Tosall is a beautiful boutique finca with spectacular gardens and views. Incredible highs with a few practical niggles that are worth knowing about. Truly stunning location with Panoramic views, beautifully kept grounds. Total peace and privacy if you want to switch off. Food: The restaurant serves Michelin-style food every night and it’s very good. Talented chef and if you don’t like the set menu they’ll happily change it for you. Staff lovely …All incredibly helpful, accommodating and pleasant – service is a real strength. Massages: Available on site and we took advantage for two nights. Excellent treatments and very reasonably priced – a real highlight after long walking days. Pool, Sauna & Hot Tub: Lovely areas to relax. Hot tub was perfect after a day out. Things to Know Before You Book: Access: The drive up is tricky – narrow with very few passing places. Not ideal in a large car like we took! Location Trade-off: You probably won’t want to drive out in the evening. Closest restaurants/bars are ∼30 min drive. The only bar is a 45-min walk there, 50-min uphill back! 😂 Dining Costs: Because it’s remote, you’ll likely eat at the finca most nights. With Michelin-level prices, budget minimum €100 per night for two even without alcohol. Worth it, but it adds up. Breakfast: Included but choice is limited as in it’s continental apart from scrambled eggs! Don’t expect a big buffet. Rooms: Boutique-style and they look nice, but less practical. No shelving/surfaces in the bathroom for toiletries. Wet-room floods easily and the shower head is small/fixed – you have to hold it. Hot Water: We had no hot water on our last night after using the hot tub. :-( Air Con: Very noisy – difficult to sleep with it on. Tea/Coffee: The advert didn’t say tea/coffee facilities were available, and so there aren’t any in the rooms. We’d have brought our own kettle/tea bags if we’d realized. For this type of establishment, and given how far the bar is, we just mistakenly expected it. It’s a shame, because Finca El Tosall could be a truly wonderful 5 star place with a few tweaks. The setting, food, staff, and massages are all fab But the practical room issues, lack of hot water one night, noisy AC, and no tea/coffee facilities let it down for the price point. Maybe we’re just used to too many home comforts! And to be fair, we had a junior suite which wasn’t the most expensive room 🥰 Tips be a confident driver + small car, budget for dinners, pack a travel kettle if you need your morning cuppa, and bring a hanging toiletry bag. Definitely book the massages – excellent value. If they sort the shower, hot water AC noise, and add kettles,

• LUIS (10/5): Espectacular. - No hay nada que no te guste de este lugar. Simplemente espectacular. Llamó la atención el precinto de cartón bio que ponen cuando el váter esta limpio, curioso y agradable. Los amenities de bienvenida son un poco pobres para un sitio de tal categoría.

El desayuno tipo bufé estaba delicioso y muy completo, ideal para empezar el día con energía. Además, el trato del personal fue inmejorable. Aunque no pudimos disfrutar demasiado de las vistas debido a la lluvia, el entorno prometía mucho pueblo más cercano, sería muy recomendable que dispusiera de una zona de cocina independiente para uso de los huéspedes. Esto permitiría comer o cenar tranquilamente en la habitación sin necesidad de desplazarse nuevamente al pueblo. Además, el menú de cena del restaurante tenía un precio de elevado por persona, lo que limita bastante las opciones si no quieres salir del alojamiento

• JantjeD (10/5): Aanrader! - Gastvrij in alle opzichten. Personeel zonder uitzondering vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn erg comfortabel en smaalvol ingericht. Wifi overal beschikbaar. De keuken bovengemiddeld goed en niet te vergeten de wijnselectie. Voor ieder een was er wel wat te kiezen. Van simpel tot uitzonderlijk. Ruime collectie Spaanse wijnen maar ook in beperkte mate andere herkomst beschikbaar. Een prima plek. De kust per auto in 25 minuten te bereiken, maar vooral het achterland is een aanrader. Wat een natuur! Nodigt uit tot lange wandelingen. Wat we ook hebben gedaan. Met name rond Tarbéna. Ongelofelijk mooi. Ook een wielrennersparadijs. Ruim parkeergelegenheid voorhanden. Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug. Het viel niet echt tegen maar als er dan toch iets genoemd moet worden. Het laatste stuk van de route er naar toe, is wat smal en steil. Ik kan niet meer verzinnen.

The actual greenery all around the swimming pool was my favourite. It was so tranquil it was the best place to chill for a week.

• Irene (10/5): Desconexión y cercanía - Ambiente tranquilo y hogareño. La ubicación es inmejorable, si buscas unos días de desconexión para disfrutar del restaurante, de sus terrazas y jacuzzis. El personal muy atento y cercano. Resaltar la empatía de la camarera que estaba en el turno de cenas durante mi estancia, gracias por ese abrazo tan cálido en ese momento tan amargo.
