Guest Reviews
- Vicky (10/5): Perfect in every way - This was a perfect stay to end our busy trip Travelling around Ireland, the Cottage we stayed in was beautiful with amazing views, the Spa on site was such a great addition, we requested a massage but they didn't have enough slots for all of us so the girls offered to stay back so they could fit us all in, which was very appreciated, we agreed it was the best massage we ever had ! the girls were so lovely and Stacey was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. As this was in a rural location, we were given Takeaway menus and ideas of places to go, although we opted to stay in and have a relaxing night. Breakfast the next morning was amazing and the Lady in Cafe couldn't do more to help, even sneaking an extra sausage on my hubbys breakfast ! Overall we feel staying here was the perfect end to a perfect holiday and we will definitely be back.
- michelle (10/5): - We loved the pool facilities.
The children enjoyed the playground and seeing the animals at the farm. Rosie the cat was a favourite.
The welcome pack of essentials was a nice touch Blinds in rooms and kitchen didn't work
Water temperature of shower was quite cool

- julie (7/5): Nice place just needs a bit of TLC - Quiet location no road noise, great views friendly staff All our rooms had cobwebs along the top of the walls. Bathroom blind was broken, toilet seat was broken, extractor fan in bathroom had not been cleaned in a very long time. Bedroom curtain moved along the wall when pulling the curtains.
- ray unwin (9/5): - The staff were amazingly helpful , the pool was excellent , the facilities were well maintained . The oven didn't have enough shelves, we have a child with dietary requirements so we usually go self catering and the oven only had a grill pan . Otherwise the kitchen was good .
- Mark Anthony (9/5): ** what a lovely place and location- I brought my young family and the host was so accommodating and helpful- close to B - The host was extremely helpful and accommodating
Thank you Noisy Peacock 1 to be fair my kids liked this
- Louise (10/5): - We had a fabulous night here and brought our dog which was no problem whatsoever. Gorgeous location and lovely facilities in the Spa! Nothing!

- Katie (5/5): - The spa facilities are clean and the views are lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming. For self catering accommodation it was disappointing and surprising to find the kitchen didn’t have any sharp knife, pots or pans so there was no way to actually use the hob. There was no oil, salt or pepper in the kitchen either. The only toiletries provided were hand soap.
- Maurice (10/5): A really lovely place to have a girls get together. Great that there’s room for 16. - Spotless. This review is by my wife who has been before a few years ago. Lovely to see all the new facilities. Nothing.
- Maurice (10/5): Brilliant stay. - The staff are very welcoming & helpful.
It’s beautiful. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are gorgeous & it’s even nicer when you’re in the spa. The coffee shop is friendly & serves lovely home cooked food. Nothing.
- Elaine (9/5): -
- Philip (10/5): cannot say enough to praise The Hosts, the staff the accommodation and location. - Location was exceptional, hosts could not have been more accommodating or Friendly, the overall experience was outstanding, waking up to the view of the fields hills was very peaceful.
- Kelly (10/5): - Beautiful surroundings Felt it was over priced the the amount of time spent there
- Carrie (9/5): - Loved it all the pool the relaxing room. Wasn't over crowded. Room had everything we needed and nice and clean. Loved that we could control the temperature in cottages. The hot tub could have been warmer. The relaxing area could do with lights there is two room & our side didnt have any so when the sun went down we had to leave
- Kerrie (10/5): Girls trip - Place was amazing, cosy and warm.. my daughters and I had our girls trip here and we absolutely loved it.. we didn't use the pool or spa, but we will next time, we just enjoyed the peace and quiet and would definitely stay again :) Everything was brilliant

- Norma (10/5): -
- Amy (10/5): - Stacy was there waiting to greet us
She told us all about the facilities
Age told us to drive our cars round for ease of loading and i
Unloading.
Always very helpful The couches were small, lounging wasn't as comfortable as it could be
- Gordon (10/5): - Our stay was too short but perfect in every way: especially the staff and the delicious breakfast they served. We hope to return someday.
- Ian (10/5): - Cosy comfortable cottage, fully supplied to enable fulfillment of needs. Welcome and ease of check in marvelous, which plenty of advice on locality and surrounding facilities.
Only one downside, wi-fi intermittent, so disrupted feeds to watch golf and later boxing!
- Helen (9/5): A lovely property in the countryside. - A very welcoming recetionist, with nothing too much of a problem. Allowed us to get ready for a wedding in the spa as we were before check-in time. All staff very friendly, cottage had everything that you needed and pool/hot tub a nice bonus. A really lovely stay. Nothing, it was perfect for a 2 night break.
- Andreas (9/5): -
- Julie (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others. - Staff were very friendly. Cottages were very clean and had everything that you needed to make your stay comfortable. Good parking and informative welcome pack. The breakfast pack was also a nice touch, as were the robes and slippers to wear across to the spa. Unfortunately the steam room wasn't working in the spa which was disappointing and a couple in the group found in difficult to access the hot tub as there was no support rail or steps into it. 11am checkout was quite early and it would be good if the spa stayed open a bit later for cottage guests.
- Adrian (8/5): Very good. Nice place - The spa The shower
- Mills (8/5): Very good - We decided on a last minute overnight stay with the kids and two dogs, so glad we went, it's beautiful!
- Mary (9/5): Superb -

- Brenda (10/5): Perfect night get away very relaxing and the staff were amazing and very welcoming will definitely be back thank you - Everything was perfect from the facilities to the surrounding animals was just beautiful and very relaxing There wasn’t anything to complain about tho I wish the pool an hot tub could stay open just a bit longer
- Petrice (3/5): Wouldn’t go back - It was handy for what we were staying for, the pool but it could be a lot cleaner, beds were comfortable, The hot tub wasn’t working and had a lot of flys in it ,also wasn’t very warm, the room wasn’t very clean at all, a lot of 🕸️🕷️ all over the livinroom and bedrooms,
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the facilities and the fact we could bring the family pet
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional - We all loved our stay at Dunamoy! The staff were all so lovely and afternoon tea was great!
- Sam (10/5): Great - Beautiful location and great facilities
- Barbara (10/5): Lovely family break - Second stay in a beautiful cottage. Comfortable beds and good pillows and duvets. Cottages are warm and cosy. Kitchen well equipped. Warm pool, warmer hot tub with lovely views. Excellent spa treatments. The tea room on site is so lovely and good value. After all that, the best thing about this accommodation is the staff who go out of their way to make your stay special Nothing really, robes could be mended but minor detail
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (10/5): Will definitely return 😊 - Fantastic customer service 👏 👌
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pranash (8/5): Enjoyable amongst lovely people and a wonderful setup 😀 - People were really friendly, exceptional Wished the access to the pool times weren’t so short - close earlier than we used to ; otherwise it’s such a beautiful facility, with such lovely people.
- Ashley (9/5): Lovely Stay - Lovely staff, and beautiful surroundings No dinner on site, and lack of outdoor bins
- Mark (9/5): Lovely place for a relaxed break, great friendly staff & well managed & maintained property. Highly recommended - A lovely country retreat about 15mins from Belfast. Cottage was very clean & well maintained, the Spa and Pool were a real treat, the Tea Room onsite was excellent and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The outside areas - car park, walls etc could do with a little tidying up
- Tracy (5/5): Great for afternoon tea but accommodation not the best. - I had a lovely massage.
Afternoon tea was great. As was breakfast. Great to bring the dogs along Nowhere to walk our dogs around the property.
Getting in and out of the hot tub really dangerous and near impossible.
The chlorine smell in the pool very strong, couldn’t stay in for long.
The accommodation very small and expensive.
- Shari (10/5): Perfect! We will back. - Staff were on site for a personal meet and greet.
Very friendly and helpful.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Spa staff were excellent.
Best massage I have had! We had to leave 😪
- Emi (9/5): Lovely place to stay - The pool and spa Wish we had booked longer than one night
- Nat (9/5): Superb - Excellent location and the cottage, very relaxing. Having milk and some pancakes left for us in the cottage was a nice touch. Pity we couldn't use the spa as we arrived late and left early, but it looked lovely as well.
- Betty (9/5): Retreat not far from home. - The cottage was lovely kitchen very well equipped if u wanted to cook. A welcome pack soda bread butter jam tea & coffee sugar very helpful. Lovely tea room for breakfast tea coffee cake afternoon tea. The spa was was wonderful our favourite thing when we go away. Staff all very helpful & courteous. Just one thing something to help u get in & out of hot tub as built into ground a wee seat to sit on & rail would be really helpful. Loved it all. Bed was lovely & comfortable.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Super friendly staff, comfortable welcoming facilities. All round great stay!
- Elaine (3/5): Poor - Disappointed
- Judith (9/5): Great property - we’ll be back -

- Julie (9/5): Dumamoy spa and cottage - Loved the cottage. The pool the area was so relaxing
Staff were amazjng Didn't stay long enough
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - The spa obviously and the surroundings, donkeys n ducks n chickens lol very private where the staff don't intrude.very relaxing Not a full criticism because the spa was gorgeous but would be lovely if it was open a wee bit longer only check in at 3pm n closes at 6pm by the time we got settled and in there wasn't tons of time then same next day as open at 9.15 n checkout by 11 but it was great time there
- Nicola (10/5): Could not have done better, a little touch of heaven in our own back yard.... - Not to far out of the town but far enough to be quiet and relaxing.
The Jamison Tea Rooms are in a beautiful setting, staff so friendly and the food was amazing.
I knew it was pet friendly but they went above and beyond for my wee border collie. I can honestly say there was nothing to complain about.
The location, the friendliness of everyone we came in contact with.

The staff were very welcoming, nothing was a problem. Would definitely recommend this as a base for exploring NI for families. Thanks to the team for a wonderful stay.
- Dee (10/5): They add a little magic to a great holiday - It was stunning property, facilities were so much more than we dreamt it would be, but the staff made it from brilliant to amazing, genuinely so warm funny and welcoming made us feel valued and nothing was too much trouble I had to come home

- Kirsty (10/5): Perfect family stay - The cottages were perfect for our family of 3. Lots of space and very clean and comfortable. The spa facilities were great and very relaxing. Staff were fantastic and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Lovely area, very peaceful! We will definitely be staying here again.
- Barbara (10/5): Stay here - Cottage was beautiful and kitchen very well stocked if you wanted to cook. Staff were keen that you would let them know if you needed anything. Very quiet at night. Lovely rural area, pool, hot tub and steam room available. Spa treatments on site, I would advise to book early. Places to eat within a few minutes drive but if you need a taxi try to book well in advance.
- Galbraith (7/5): Good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Well furnished accommodation, great spa pool/ setup Being picky . .. No clocks anywhere lol would be handy in the pool
- Moira (8/5): Very good - Access to the spa was great and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely rural location but not far from shops to pick up essentials. A walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath would have been more accessible but we were able to use the showers in the spa during opening hours.
- Christine (8/5): Very good -
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was really lovely thanks for a lovely stay. The only thing I would say is maybe a warning sign up about the donkey. It nipped my greatnephews finger.
- Gaetano (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The cottage given was the honey cottage and is lovely. There is also an incredible view!!!
I hope to be back 🙂
- William (9/5): Superb - Everything.none everything The whole over night stay was wonderful
Everything worked out great as it was a surprise for my wife as a birthday present.
And the area that dunamoy cottages was situated was stunning looking out into the beautiful countryside.
Would recommend dunamoy to anyone for a relaxing break to wine down.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cottage all facilities. Grandson enjoyed the swimming pool.
Afternoon tea delivered to cottage. Lovely staff in the tearoom. The weather
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Squance (9/5): Tranquil, relaxing, just what we hoped for. - Location, very tranquil, breakfast excellent, staff vey friendly and professional. Cottage interior was looking a little tired/ shabby.
- Mrs (9/5): Superb -
- Murphy (1/5): Dreadful - The furniture was disgraceful we had to cover the torn settee with blankets we had brought with us no pictures cushion or rugs like a prison cell which we think would have been better left after 2 hours 360 pounds a disgraceful price for this everything was locked up from 6 o’clock so no one or facilities available Ververy very disappointed the chicken were heartbroken
- Zoe (8/5): lovely stay and very friendly staff! we had a great couples massage too - that it had the pool facilities and great treatments the cottage wasn’t the cleanest
- Nadine (10/5): Great break away for the family. We'll definitely be back! - The owners were very friendly and even allowed us to check in early. We had the whole place to ourselves too which was a bonus. We took our 2 year old who just loved the pool and all the farm animals! The only thing I'd recommend for travellers is to bring your own shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. No complaints we enjoyed every minute.
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): very impressed with this hotel. - Beautiful location, smiley friendly staff, great facilities, clean, modern well presented. Could do with better sofa in cottage and a hot tub to complement the spa experience
