- charlesdX9960YC (8/5): Need coffee machine in the rooms - The Hotel is very clean and secure location. The bar is lively and could use free drinks for paying guest. Rooms are very clean and cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. The room could use a coffee pod. I know there is a Starburst and Village Italia where coffee is sold but not convenient for guest have to get dress in the morning to go out into the casino lobby or casino for their first cup of coffee.

- Go61848393795 (6/5): Overall fine, but could have easily been better - Overall our stay was fine, but a few things were disappointing. I found the front desk underwhelming - had an issue with a reservation and they were unhelpful and a bit snippy on the phone. Also, a man was bothering women in the lobby and the front desk staff did nothing (he was looking for a room to stay in). As the hotel is connected to the casino, you'd think the front desk would call security to escort him out. Saw him, and heard about him from a couple of women on the elevator and my daughter. While the room was fine, it was disappointing that there was no coffee maker in the room. I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel that didn't have a coffee maker. I would have also liked some lotion to be available in the room. It's also an odd entrance to the hotel - you have to go through an inside parking lot.
- leo10598 (10/5): Really nice rooms - The hotel rooms are nicely decorated, quiet and clean. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times, always a good experience. The only issue we always have is with the toilet paper holders. They don't hold the toilet paper and it falls off and rolls under the vanity. I know we don't get the same room everytime, I think they need to replace them in every room.

- haroldr503 (10/5): Christmas eve get away - Stayed at rivers landing hotel and casino in Schenectady NY. Clean quiet, river view room as always. Check in fast and easy ...same goes for key drop off. Christmas eve .. was busier then I thought it would be. Still a great time .. nothing to improve in hotel, .casino had an afternoon band they were fun to watch and listen to.. all in all a great time

The casino was clean, modern, and well organized, which made it easy to enjoy the night without feeling crowded or overwhelmed. There was a good variety of slot machines and table games, so there was always something to play. The staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. I also enjoyed the food options, which were convenient and satisfying. Overall, Rivers Casino is a fun, entertaining spot and a great place to relax and enjoy yourself.

I really enjoyed the warm chocolate cookies during check-in. The staff were courteous and polite. The location is in the center of everything downtown Schenectady, New York.

There was a lot of debris including a fingernail on the floor and especially under the couch . This place is always clean but I had the same problem thanksgiving. There was actually a sock under the couch. I don’t go pulling stuff apart, this was all noticeable. In the casino at van slyks the same video poker machines still broken. Staff always nice and Mian was excellent like always

- tammyhO1154SW (8/5): Uncomfortable bed - I was surprised that the bed was so uncomfortable. I tossed and turned all night. We like our rooms cool to sleep and alot of hotels shut off the air through the night. Our room did stay cool all night long.

- kendraf943 (2/5): Stay somewhere else - My family stayed for one night and had 2 rooms. We both had entirely different check in experiences. Although there was an issue with my card at my father's check in, the person checking us in was extremely rude. Both of our rooms (113 and 121) had a broken bed, where if you laid anywhere except the exact middle of the bed, it would tip to the side. One corner of the bed in our room, 121 would hit the floor. One of us was given cookies at check in, the other was rushed through with no information provided about card charges. The rooms offer no amenities, no coffee maker or microwave, not even a bottle of water. After the experience checking in, we were not comfortable contacting the front desk for issues in the room. I have never had such a negative experience at a hotel that charges so much for a room.

Didn’t finish either. Pizza wasn’t worth ordering. Wish there was a decent restaurant to sit and eat and then continue to play. It’s nice to have it all in one place instead of leaving to go out to dinner. Overall really nice casino and hotel.

We enjoyed our second stay here and would have no doubts about referring the Landing to others. The Otis Spunkmeyer cookies were an added surprise.

I love the fact that both sides of the bed have plugs for charging and a charging port - so needed today. And the water pressure in the shower, nice! I would say though that a fan is needed in the bathroom due to the condensation. Otherwise, all was great. Parking was plentiful in the garage too.

The hotel was very separated from the casino which was good since I was traveling on business and needed a quiet nights sleep. The steak house in the casino had very good food. Grab a Starbucks in the morning from the lobby and was on my way. Would stay again

- 904raffaellat (6/5): Not worth the money! - The hotel does not have any amenities.. no pool, no spa, the room service is strange you need to order online and the casino is awful you cannot get a drink and the pit boss makes excuses that it's the gaming regulations which is bull because everywhere is regulated not just nyc and that has nothing to do with waitresses not doing their jobs. Guests spending thousands of dollars at the tables are entitled drinks. The pit boss called them free drinks which is ridiculous when you spend thousands gaming. I would never recommend this place.

- jeanrQ3229HD (8/5): Great place to stay. - The room was very nice. Nice decor and comfortable . The view of the river was great. We saw lot of birds flying around and a few boats going by. Our only complaint was the bathroom shower. I was afraid the water would go all over the floor. It sprayed out somewhat but not as bad as I thought it might. But as I was showering I saw a lot of black curly hairs on the floor of the shower as though it hasn’t been previously cleaned or rinsed very well. And the toilet paper was on the roller but not detached. I had to detach it to use it. Most hotels we have been in point the paper to indicate room has been done. Other than that it was very nice. Beautiful bar and lounge area and outdoor area.

I canceled my reservation a month in advance and they are claiming I did not call to cancel my reservation. They will not acknowledge my phone statement that proves I called a month in advance to cancel. They are UNTRUSTWORTHY! The only person that was polite was the first person I spoke with before being transferred to the customer care team. They are rude and dismissive!
- 587vaughnh (10/5): The landing experience - The facilities are great. The visit was wonderful starting with reception and all the way up to the GM Joe Lodise. The dealers on craps, dukes bar and restuarant, Flipt, Johnnies, miam and the bakey all were outstanding. Even the golf outing at the bunker with Chip Beck who gave great lessons at the bunker and on the course. The golf outing was superb with breakfast, lunch and dinner and a round of great golf. Thanks for all that the landings team did for Mary Lou and I (Happy).

The staff is outstanding, the rooms are clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Only drawback is that there is limited dining outside the property. No toiletries provided besides a bar of soap then there was like drink stains on the little table that’s in the room that wasn’t wiped off so therefore I laid on top of the comforter thinking no I’m not so sure this room got cleaned was not comfortable and decided to leave in the middle of the night.
- karenjeanb2019 (10/5): Bayside rooms are very nice - We enjoyed our five day stay at The Landing. The hotel and the guest rooms were quite nice and very clean. Housekeeping staff is exceptionally accommodating . The front desk staff though was another issue, we were not acknowledged by the front desk staff when we came in or out each day. They are the first hotel representatives to be seen by guests and need to be friendly and inviting, not even receiving eye contact was disappointing.

We could only stay one night so 100 bucks a little pricey for the dog but very grateful to be able to bring the family instead of always staying by myself. So excited it’s dog friendly. One recommendation is some garbage cans along the trail so we can dispose dog droppings. It would stink if others ruin it for everyone by not picking up after there pet . For dinner we ate Mian . Always excellent.

- 864jz (10/5): Awesome! - Great staff! Great time! Roulette tables is where it's at with a little Texas holdem, bar, slots, roulette again then back to the bar of course. Have fun people life is way too short!!!

- R3987DCterryg (10/5): Family wedding stay - We were very pleased with our stay. We were there as part of a family wedding. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The evening before dinner and the getting ready morning food were excellent. The staff was attentive to our needs. My only complaint was that there was a dog barking in the room across from ours for over an h cour in the morning after the wedding. Would have loved to have had peace and quiet to sleep in.
- Alan (6/5): - Need better signage for arrival/check-in. Too many high curbs for handicapped. No coffee machines in rooms. Otherwise beautiful building and room.
