Guest Reviews
- Assia (10/5): - I absolutely loved it! An exceptional experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, and the decor struck the perfect balance between beautiful and serene, it instantly puts you in a zen state of mind. The views were stunning, and the outdoor shower and Jacuzzi were a personal highlight, such a lovely touch.
The staff truly stood out: warm, attentive, and always smiling. Being able to reach them via WhatsApp for anything you need was incredibly convenient and made the stay feel effortless.
Breakfast was a delight, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The location is also excellent.
As someone who is genuinely hard to impress, I can say without hesitation: this is a solid 10/10. Highly recommended! Nothing
- Meredith (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional and unique with fabulous staff and service. - Our tented accommodation was beautiful, unique and very comfortable. The outside shower was gorgeous and can’t believe it came with a full inside bathroom and kitchen with gorgeous products. The location was an easy walk to town, although a cab required back due to a steep hill. Absolutely stunning. Nothing
- yann (10/5): SEJOUR D UNE NUIT MEMORABLE - MAGNIFIQUE LOGEMENT AVEC UNE VUE A COUPER LE SOUFFLE,ACCOMPAGNE D UN MAGNIFIQUE COUCHE DE SOLEIL ET LA VISITE D UN PETIT SINGE AU MATIN SUR LA RAMBARDE EN VERRE
Diner expérience a faire sans hésiter avec en plus une adorable personne "lady" pour nous accompagner en Français
Cadre exceptionnelle pour la nuit et le diner
allez y les yeux fermés!!!! RIEN
- ALEXIS ANNE (10/5): We enjoyed our stay - The uniqueness of the accommodation. The breakfast was good Nothing

- 415Dawgfan (10/5): Best experience we had in Costa Rica - My wife and I really enjoyed the entire experience at Chira Glamping for the 2 night stay we booked.
The tent space offered full privacy, was well appointed both inside the tent itself and on the deck. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub. Bed was incredibly comfortable and allowed for a nice rest after a long day of local activities.
It's not an easy property to navigate if you have any ambulatory conditions due to the hills, but the views are absolutely spectacular as they overlook Monteverde all the way to the Nicoya Peninsula.
Staff was super welcoming and offered great advice for restaurants and getting around town.
If you go, try to get a sunset dinner reservation at San Lucas Restaurant. The service and food were the best we experienced in all of Costa Rica and were well worth the splurge.
Special thanks to both Emil for his hospitality and to Fabio for making our dinner experience at San Luca so memorable!
- Alexis (10/5): -
- Abie-Mika (10/5): Amazing value for money - Amazing location, nice and secluded in nature but not too far off from town. Staff was extremely friendly and couldn't have done more for you. Hot tub ready to go, free snacks and drinks
- jean christophe (10/5): -
- hattyjod (10/5): Amazing stay as a family - Chira was nothing short of amazing. The view. The amenities. The staff. It was all phenomenal.
We stayed for 3 nights as a family of 5 in the family dome. And wish we could have stayed longer. The beds were comfy. Our kids (5,8,11) enjoyed the rock climbing wall, slide and piano.
The private hot tub on the deck was the perfect way to watch the sun go down.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. And the breakfast staff were kind and attentive.
Emel at the front desk/concierge was welcoming and so helpful.
Would love to stay at this amazing property again some day.
- Woodard (10/5): Magical. Highly recommend. - We were a family of 4 - two adults, a tween, and a teen. We loved the view, but also the privacy and space in our unit. It was so much better than we even imagined, which is good because they are quite expensive even by US standards. Breakfast was good and service was terrific everywhere. It was worth the splurge. We also loved the town of Santa Elena. Definitely eat at the Tree House. The food and service were incredible - the best we found in Costa Rica. No fault of Chira glamping, but getting there was a real challenge. Do not use Waze if flying into Liberia! Give yourself more time than you think you need, and plan not to drive at night. The roads truly are horrendous, but if you have the time, it can be worth the adventure.
- Lauren (10/5): Incredible views, unique experience, great service - Views!! Unique experience, attentive customer service, great location central to various monteverde attractions/sites. The large sliding door over kitchen area was a bit cumbersome, and we would have appreciated a deadbolt on the main door so that our toddler couldn't open it by himself.
- Suzibeaton06 (10/5): Best way to celebrate my 50th birthday - I wanted something truly unique to celebrate my 50th birthday, and Chira definitely fit the bill. My husband booked both Chira and San Lucas as my birthday gift, and it was worth every penny.
We had a long journey from Papagayo (approximately three hours), but everything was perfectly organised. Emily was fantastic — she not only booked our stay at Chira but also arranged our transportation from the hotel, a table at San Lucas, and an excursion into the cloud forest. She was absolutely brilliant and made the whole experience seamless.
On arrival at Chira, we received a lovely warm welcome and were offered a refreshing cold drink. We were given all the information we needed about our room, dinner, and the excursion planned for the following day before being taken to our room, Sunset. From the moment we walked in, I was completely awestruck.
As you enter the room, you immediately notice the large pod that houses the bedroom. Outside, there is a table and chairs, along with a well-equipped kitchen stocked with snacks and drinks, which we made good use of. The bathroom was large and spacious, with toiletries and everything you could possibly need for your stay. Outside on the decking there was a BBQ, another table with two chairs, an incredible glass shower (which felt wonderfully surreal), and the most fantastic hot tub.
The bedroom itself was just perfect — a huge, comfortable bed with super-warm bedding, a TV with Netflix, a hanging rail, and plenty of drawers for storage. I usually need complete darkness to sleep, but we kept the curtains open all night. The whole place was spotlessly clean.
Once we had unpacked, we took time to soak in the magnificent views. At times, the clouds covered the local town, but when they cleared, the views were absolutely breath taking. We got changed and headed straight for the hot tub, drinks and snacks in hand. Being so high up, surrounded by forest, was an incredible experience. Afterwards, we used the glass shower, which was completely unique.
After dinner, we sat out on the decking. Although it was too dark to see anything, listening to the sounds of the animals around us was magical. We both slept incredibly well and didn’t want to get up the next morning — I was genuinely sad we had only booked one night.
On our way to breakfast, I was thrilled to see coatis, which are very raccoon-like. There were loads of them, and I spent most of breakfast watching them and taking photos. Breakfast itself was delicious, with plenty of choice: pastries, yoghurts, cereals, omelettes, and various egg options.
The whole experience made my birthday extra special. As we were leaving, we were given a sloth Christmas tree decoration, which was such a thoughtful touch. I would absolutely recommend Chira, and if we are ever back in the area, we will definitely return.
- Ana Nakata (10/5): - Comodidades, vista Nada
- Harrivdv (10/5): Worth every penny!! - Stunning stunning stunning.
From the moment we stepped into the office to check in, I felt incredibly well looked after. Incredible service from the man at reception (cannot remember his name sadly!) who offered us a cold beer on arrival which was needed after a bumpy drive from La Fortuna area! Also recommended some activities and booked them for us.
What can I say about the property. Every amenity you could need and then some. The glamping pod itself was amazing. Comfy bed, air-conditioning for the day and blankets and a heater provided for the evening which we did not need. There are even yoga mats and games in the room. The kitchen is well equipped.
What can I say about the outside!! The hotel tub was glorious, the shower like nothing I have ever seen and the views and sunset were stunning at all times. The grill was a lovely addition for a bbq. How they even managed to have zero bugs in the room I will never know.
Incredibly clean, lovely bath products and even robes and slippers.
The gym was well equipped and the breakfast each day was excellent.
We also visited the tree top restaurant for cocktails overlooking the stunning views.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place. We were there on our honeymoon and stayed in "sunset". Worth the quite large price tag!! Wish we had stayed another night or two.
Thank you all at Chira glamping.
- Tirath (10/5): Beautiful and luxury glamping at Chira - Beautiful and luxury property, breakfast was amazing and staff and service was exceptional. The views and sunset are worth staying for. Plan for weather and wind as you are in nature. It’s little further from town, but they provide drop off and taxis are cheap
- Olivia (10/5): -
- eric (10/5): - Superbe emplacement et super beau concept. À refaire assurément 😘 Tout était parfait 🙂
- warner (10/5): -
- Yoselyn (10/5): Lluvia en el paraiso - El Gampling y la cama
- Mariska (10/5): In 1 woord fantastisch! - Fantastische locatie en beleving! Helemaal samen met de eet beleving. Alles is super goed verzorgd, super vriendelijk onthaald. Aanrader!
- DonitaPo (10/5): Wonderful stay - This place is amazing! Located in the middle of the forest and with a distant view to the city, this place is heaven. I was able to take beautiful wildlife pictures from the deck.
You are surrounded by nature but with all the comforts of a 5-star hotel. The dome is beautiful and comfortable, it has a fully equipped kitchen, fabulous bathroom and super comfortable outdoor hot tub and shower.
Breakfast is included and absolutely delicious!
Service is super friendly, and they will endeavor to accommodate your every need.
Just be careful not to leave food lying around as there is wildlife eagerly awaiting for a forgotten dish.
- C9548OZdianem (4/5): Chira Glamping - Not so glamorous. - We were unfortunately disappointed with our stay at Chira Glamping. While it was advertised as a “glamping” experience, it felt more like staying in a boutique hotel with dome-shaped villas rather than being immersed in nature. The location is surrounded by other hotels and businesses, so it lacks the peaceful seclusion we were expecting.
The domes themselves are unique and visually interesting, but the overall experience didn’t live up to the promise. Our stay was disrupted by loud music from a party at a nearby hotel, constant dog barking, and frequent motorcycle traffic—definitely not the tranquil environment we had in mind.
Service also fell short. The concierge who checked us in was not particularly welcoming or informative. We weren't shown the room features (like the safe, which we only discovered under the bathroom sink on our last day), and she gave us the wrong time for a night tour we had scheduled through them.
The included breakfast was mediocre and the coffee was disappointing. On the plus side, the San Lucas Treetop Dining Experience was excellent—but you can book that without staying at Chira, and based on our experience, I’d recommend doing just that.
One final letdown: the outdoor shower, which started out beautifully, lost hot water within a few minutes. While staff responded quickly to reset the heater, we were told it would take 30 minutes to recover—not ideal when you’re mid-shower.
In summary, while Chira Glamping is a visually interesting property with potential, the noise, lackluster service, and missed expectations made it a stay we wouldn’t repeat.
- Vicky (10/5): Thanks to Emel who helped us recover an item we forgot. The entire staff were amazing. - Having additional hooks in the bathroom would be helpful because of the excessive humidity.
- Heatherryanmorse (10/5): Breathtaking views with great attention to details - We were welcomed with a beautiful smile and adult beverages at check in by the charismatic receptionist who also led us into our Glamping experience. The space left us wanting nothing. spacious, clean, very comfortable mattresses and perfect pillows, The view and the hot tub overlooking the city below were highlights. The kids loved the slide/climbing wall. The monkeys and coatis made 3:00p appearances in the trees. Room came with snacks, drinks, Netflix movies at night and a hot tub visit under the stars were fun night activities. Breakfast at Chira was perfect! Lots of fresh, handmade choices!!
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic accomdation. Good to stay somewhere different and definitely brought the glam to the camping . Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place to relax between wildlife walks with views as far as the Pacific.
- D2572OGjuliev (10/5): Over the top amazing! Beautiful, so comfortable, the outdoor shower exquisite!!! Heaven on earth! - Fantastic in all ways!!! Loved the pod, views!!! Outdoor glass shower, kitchen and beautiful full bathroom! Free snacks were a lovely touch! The san Lucas right adjacent to the hotel is an otherworldly experience at sunset! Will as bsolotly tell our friends!
- Sheallika (10/5): - Great experience!
- Yasemin (10/5): - Beautiful property, the right customer service. Everyone was kind and caring. Location can ve tricky to get to depending on the gps, take main roads. Amenities were also wonderful. Worth what you pay for
- Jane (10/5): A memorable Monteverde experience - We spend 2 nights at Chira Glamping. The pod is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the jacuzzi listening to the birds. Perfect!
We dined at their restaurant on our first night which was spectacular.
Breakfasts were relaxed. We also used the concierge service to book a night walking tour and a cloud forest tour. We enjoyed these experiences greatly.
- Jamie (10/5): One of the best places we have stayed in a long time. It was fabulous. - Everything!! We saw wildlife, the kids had a slide/ play area, the hot tub at night was amazing and the tent was so cozy and comfortable. The staff were extremely hospitable and the breakfast was great. Would highly, highly recommend. Nothing.
- catswoody (6/5): Not worth the money - It would be fair to say that this was not quite what we expected. Possibly we should have looked at the photographs more intensely but we were expecting the pods to be in a cloud forest, some distance away from civilisation with a good opportunity to star gaze from our balcony. The pods are lovely but they are pretty close together, we could hear our neighbours and see bright fairy lights and what sounded like a wedding or disco very close to our balcony. We heard a lot of banging after we had gone to bed and complained to the front desk but were told it was just a delivery and would soon be over. This was at 9.00pm. I asked if we needed to check in online for our flight to Drake Bay and was told they didn't know. I had thought I was booking a night tour of the Monteverde reserve but was told one could only have a night tour in the transition forest. As we were booking from the UK I was not sure what this meant. We found out that we were on a tour in a very small forest with a lot of other tours all walking around together. So many flashlights - not many animals. We spent a lot of time looking at spiders in webs. The guide was at least half an hour late and when we asked the concierge to investigate he didn't seem to have any idea. In fact he told us that no pick up had been booked. Beautiful sunsets. Would I stay here again. I do not think so. It was the most expensive experience of our trip.
- Odile (9/5): Nice stay would definitely recommend - Liked the property, and it location the jacuzzi was very nice to have after a long day of walk The price is a bit high
- Natalia (8/5): The San Lucas restaurant is absolutely the highlight and you have to do it - Absolutely wonderful staff who do everything possible to help you and make your stay great.
It’s a good idea and a nice concept.
The restaurant San Lucas in the property was simply amazing and it’s an absolute must too, this was one of the highlights of my trip! I was expecting this to be significantly more lost in the jungle, but you can actually hear the cars, and you see the town from the pods, so you don’t get this feeling of “ Glamping” in the middle of nowhere.
It just wasn’t entirely what I was expecting, particularly for the really high price point. I found it overly expensive.
- O646NVlaurenj (10/5): Amazing geodome experience! - My husband and I stayed here for a night in Monteverde in early February and enjoyed the Treetop Dining experience as well. We were very impressed with the amount of space we had to ourselves in our Geodome and surrounding deck / full bathroom and kitchen area. We loved enjoying the sunset views from the hottub and watching the stars at night. We were pleasantly surprised with the lovely array of snacks and drinks that were provided in our room upon our arrival. The service at check in and check out was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!
- Jodie (10/5): - Most unique and beautiful place we have ever stayed.
- Daniella (10/5): Dream come true - Everything was perfect, impeccable, well maintained and very tastefully decorated. Location is great, very private and in tune with nature. It has everything needed to feel at home and to cook your own meals. Could have heating in the room or available in the AC… nights can be cool in Monteverde
- Pam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): Great - Just- excellent! All you need in very interesting shape. Jacuzzi was great. Food delicious. Very nice and helpful staff
- Megan (10/5): - Gorgeous tent and outdoor space, unbelievable views, great outdoor shower, hot tub worked well and appreciated that they had a dehumidifier and heater in the tent. The property itself has such amazing views of the sunset, and we were a 30 sec walk from our dinner at San Lucas which was great! Also loved the wide variety of free snacks and the kitchen. Be warned that the bathroom doesn’t have a dehumidifier so everything in there gets and stays pretty wet, but it’s glamping so wasn’t anything we didn’t expect! Seamless check in experience and the service was great at breakfast and the lobby. Probably wouldn’t stay for an extended period of time just due to the humid bathroom, but was such a lovely stay for a couple nights. All our tours also picked us up from the property or we were close driving distance - super close to town for dinner too! Recommend the Delhi Indian restaurant around the corner. Would recommend this one to anyone who wants a unique experience in Monteverde!
- Karla (10/5): Spectacular glamping pods with hottub and outdoor shower. - The honeymoon glamping pod was incredible. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. It was secluded and private but so close to town. We enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was accommodating and very helpful. We loved every minute of our stay. Nothing.
- Adele (1/5): Ruined by WhatsApp messages after we’d left asking me to confirm why bottles of wine were missing - Beautiful glamping tents Receiving messages after I left suggesting we had stolen bottles of wine despite them being left in the tents and staff being given clear instructions where they were left. Internal problem perhaps.
- Anne (10/5): Life of rich and famous, all details to perfection!” - This place is a 10 star accommodation and the tree top restaurant micheline stars, a must! Nothing it was perfect and some
- DoraexploraUK (10/5): Beautiful views, luxury in the clouds - Such a fun place to spend a couple of days on our Costa Rica trip. The Igloo pods and luxurious with beautiful bedding, cosy atmosphere, incredible views and the hot tub on the balcony was a real treat after a days hiking. The outdoor shower is a quirky fun aspect too. We saw lots of wildlife from the balcony. So lovely to wake up to a Toucan on the balcony. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast with a view and live music. part buffet and part freshly prepared eggs. Thank you from Sally & Ben
- Amelia (9/5): Superb -
- Miriam (10/5): A gem in the middle of the forest. - Everything was exceptional! The room, the hot tub, the view and the staff. I loved this place at first sight. I couldn’t stop to take pictures. Everything was perfect, but be advised that you are in the middle of the forest and nature can be noisy sometimes.
- Stacey (9/5): Fun experience - The glamping tents were great experience, comfortable beds and gorgeous view. It was windy during our visit so it was noisy all night and morning with the wind hitting the tent.
- Christopher (10/5): - Incredible experience. Must put this on your truoo or you've missed the unmissable.
- Karen (9/5): Wonderful living area but you really need nice weather :-( -
- Rachin_shah (10/5): Great place! JUST WOW! Amazing service - Amazing! Great service. Emile and Emily both at the front desk gave great recommendations for restaurants and excursions !!
Definitely must stay!
We stayed in the sunset tent. We arrived early and they moved the bags into our room. The hot tub was great we used it everyday. They have a very good breakfast with live music to set a good ambiance and also the gym is nice.
Look no further this is the place to stay if you want luxury and immerse yourself in nature. It is on the expensive side but worth the money!
The tent inside was perfect. Clean and spacious. Only no plug points around the bed to charge to our phone at night.
- Alpesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- ericaaJ1529HA (10/5): We loved it! - We loved staying at Chria Glamping! It was our first glamping experience and it was so lovely. The customer service provided by the staff was above and beyond. They helped us book tours, find local food and even gave us a gift after we checked out. It made for our trip in MonteVerde very special.
- Brad (10/5): Amazing staff and service with great little touches that make you feel welcome and appreciated as guests. Fantastic brea -
- Diana (10/5): - Amazing romantic getaway with one of the best restaurants in Costa Rica!
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Salvatore (10/5): - Great place, nice setting of the rooms, very nice staff
- vanessabH492DN (10/5): Breathtaking experience in the cloud forest - This place deserves 5 stars!!! The service is amazing, the staff was so kind, and went out of their way to help us. It was a dream sleeping here with our family. We booked 2 tents and it was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The only thing is that you cannot have dinner or lunch unless you book their gastronomic restaurant, but there are many dining options in the area.
- c_linev883 (10/5): Do want to go back - Amazing place! The location in the middle of the forest is beautiful, the family tent is great with great attention for details (play games, attention for the children). It was raining a lot and we still enjoyed our time very much. Would love to go back to this place, the kids didn’t want to leave and we either!
- chumirachels (10/5): Embracing nature with luxury! - An awesome romantic and secluded experience! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to reconnect with nature, while in a luxurious surrounding. We landed in Liberia Airport and drove up the mountain to Monteverde at night making the experience a bit harrowing but definitely worth it. Once we arrived the cabin was ready for us and we were blown away by the amenities but more importantly the sounds and sights of the animals and forest we were surrounded in. Everything you need is provided, full kitchen, beautiful bathroom, outdoor shower, jacuzzi hot tub, seating and of course the sleeping pod. The only thing that could have made our stay better was extending our stay another night!
- Claire (10/5): Gorgeous stay in Monteverde - Beautiful property! Lots of space, beautifully designed and laid out. Stunning views and great breakfast! Nothing, our stay was perfect!
- 997yanivc (10/5): On my short list of best world hotels - Amazing experience living in the clouds amongst the trees! Unique design, great taste meets functionality. High end finishes and amenities. Very responsive and warm staff. Though this place is not cheap it is worth every dollar. We stayed at the family tent which was huge, had a TV, A/C, stunning views and an area for our little girl to draw. The bathroom had a rain shower coming out of a piece of live edge wood. The terrace had a big Jacuzzi, a climbing wall and slide all of which the children loved. The place is gated and the food is great. Will be coming back.
- Araks (10/5): Unique, luxurious, comfortable, memorable, beautiful. - This property was absolutely amazing. We LOVED our stay in the family tent. The space was beautifully designed, large and beyond comfortable. The attention to detail was wow. The beds were beyond comfortable. The views were beautiful. We loved using the kitchen. Everything was squeaky clean. Breakfast was lovely. We saw lots of wildlife around. The surprises and snacks were very appreciated by the kids. It’s a close drive to town and all the activities around. Don’t hesitate and book this place. You won’t regret it. Nothing. There’s nothing not to like.
- kristinfT8075AZ (10/5): Best Place to Stay in Monteverde - We stayed here for part of our honeymoon in June 2024 and really enjoyed our experience. The Glamping pods were super unique and felt luxurious and private, the staff was friendly and helpful, the location was close to town while still feeling remote, and the grounds were pristine. The hot tub and outdoor shower were great after long days of hiking and adventures. We enjoyed both the complimentary breakfast onsite and the San Lucas dining experience, which takes you through a nine course tasting menu of the different regions of Costa Rica. Emily at reception helped us book all of our excursions including a local guide Kevin, who we did both a day and night hike with (seeing many species of birds, sloths, reptiles and more). Would highly recommend to any couple looking for a luxury experience while still feeling immersed in nature.
- Voyager13546181964 (10/5): Top Notch Service - The service could not have been better. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and they even came out to help me fix a flat tire in the rain and gave our family a ride to the hotel while they did so. Tremendously great experience and the accommodations are wonderful as well!
- V3984DCwillc (10/5): Lovely, even with a little rain - Cute and intimate experience! My partner and I stayed for one night so we could try the San Lucas Dining Experience and the cloud forests. While it's not quite as nice during the rainy season, Chira provides plenty of the comforts you'd expect for glamping!
We had a small issue where the hot tub wasn't functioning due to some Coati messing with the plug, but the staff were instantly helpful to rectify the issue, even in the rain :)
Breakfast in the morning was lovely and while it was buffet-style, it was cozy and refined at the same time. I'd recommend staying here for longer for those that appreciate a camping/glamping time! The views were amazing, and a walk from San Lucas was very helpful if you bought the mixed drink package.
- Ben (10/5): - The property and experience were unforgettable. It all started with the most hospitable and helpful host, Emel. He made us feel welcome and even helped us get pizza delivery to the glamping tent. The tent is immaculate and the perfect window to the amazing greens and blues that mark the gorgeous horizon. The bathrooms and showers were flawless and kept you integrated with nature. I will remember this place forever and ever!

- TripReviewerTexas (10/5): Great stay in Monteverde - Everything was great about our stay! We loved the unique stay in the cloud forest. The staff were phenomenal - helpful every step of the way. There were many personal touches too that made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed lots of birds and even some clared peccary right under us. It was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend it!
- SAKG025 (10/5): Incredible - Wow. This place is amazing. Came here with my family for 2 nights in April. Yes, the price is high for the family tent, but the value is there. The tent itself was huge, clean, most comfortable bed I have slept in. There was also these small touches that had a huge impact - small gift for my son (projector/view master with different slides of bugs and animals) kids blocks, colouring sheets, piano, aromatherapy. It was just so comfortable and luxurious. Outside a full kitchen with included snacks and drinks. Lovely bathroom with amazing products. Rock climbing wall, child slide, swings, bbq and 4 person jacuzzi with amazing views. At night you can hear wildlife from the comfort and safety of the tent. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE. the staff were so kind and helpful and amazing with my son. Alejandra would make a hot chocolate every morning for him. The front desk helped with all your tour reservations, taxis etc. they even gave us and my son a gift at check out. This place was well worth the money and I would return in a heartbeat.

- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - This place is perfection. Everything has been considered. The staff was amazing and anticipated everything we might want. We added dozens of birds to our life-lists and saw coatis and agoutis from the comfort of the beautiful balcony. The hot tub and outdoor shower are both top notch. We ended up wishing we'd splurged on one more night.
- Xiao (9/5): Joyful stay at an amazing place - The big tent was comfortable, beautiful and well decorated. The view from the balcony was amazing. The kitchen was great, stocked with everything we need, loved the snacks and drinks. The bathroom was luxurious. Breakfast had so many tasty offerings. Nothing
- Ali (10/5): Outstanding - Everything was fabulous. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful glamping pods with everything you need and very private. The bed was comfy, soft linen and air con! The outside shower was amazing, fabulous view and we saw a toucan and white faced monkeys whilst in the hot tub. You can walk to restaurants and bars/shops in 10/15 mins, it’s a steep walk back. San Lucas restaurant on site was fantastic x Nothing
- Olivier_gasquet (10/5): Highly recommended! - We stayed in the Sunset Room, which was a truly amazing experience. The room itself (the tent) was spacious, and the adjacent kitchen well equiped with a nice minibar. Very good breakfast. The hot tub and the shower on the terrace were a marvelous experience. We were also pleased with the provided earplugs 🙂. We highly recommend a stay here - Glamping++!
- Kelly (9/5): The ultimate getaway! - Private and secure location in a natural setting, with opportunities to view wildlife, and beautiful site aesthetics. The suite lacked no attention to detail, is well designed and comfortable. There were no issues with the property per se, but it would have been helpful had the resort’s website provided information for the best travel route/roads to the property in order to avoid one of the main routes, which was very challenging due to the poor condition of the road surface.
- Maira (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! This can't be considered glamping. It was so luxurious! Best bed I've ever slept in and the facilities were great! The attention to detail was 10 out of 10 too. The staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive. We loved it!
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lance (9/5): Superb - Wonderful location, warm and helpful staff, very comfortable and unique setting
- Roxannap (9/5): Superb - Everything!
- Alexandre (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible place, views are unbeatables, birds and other animals going through trees around tent. Kids had great fun….. Nothing not to like about that place
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (10/5): Amazing - Our room was phenomenal. So clean, amazing views, totally private. This was such a romantic place to stay, with excellent staff. Be sure to have a drink at the bar for San Lucas, even if you don't do the entire dining experience.
- Burnett (10/5): Amazing, relaxing and romantic get away! - It was all so well engineered and thought out considering the rainforest winds and clouds that come in nightly. Very relaxing and romantic setting with spectacular views and beautiful sunsets. The drive from Guanacaste to Monteverde is half on a paved road and the other half on a non-paved road so make sure you address your motion sickness issues if any.
- Tomas (9/5): Superb - Located in a very beaufifull location, the glamp is comfortable, charming….. Maybe we expected to be more in the natire, it’s situated more in the city…. But the view is fine…..

- Danielle (10/5): The most amazing views, great breakfast, super friendly staff and the most unique stay ever - It is definitely one of the most unique places I have ever stayed! My kids couldn’t believe how awesome everything was, from the rock wall and slide, the swings and hot tub and Netflix and all the little free gifts. Their minds were blown and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. We all thought the breakfast was amazing, the kids said it was the best hotel breakfast ever. Coffee and hot chocolate were delicious! The only thing was we stayed on a Saturday night and the music in the city is loud. You could hear the bass of the music super late which if we hadn’t had our kids we would have been down there partying! But needing to wake up in the morning was tough. They do provide ear plugs which helped but the hotel couldn’t prevent this. So it definitely wouldn’t prevent me from staying here again!
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rhys (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay at Chira glamping. It exceeded our expectations. Amazing facilities, comfortable bed, incredible views and so peaceful and relaxing. Great products in the room as well. Everything was so clean and we were really well looked after by Douglas. Breakfast was also lovely. Nothing we loved our stay!
- Stephen (8/5): They sorted out for us to join a night walk which was great - well worth doing! We were only there for 1 night so can’t - Location was excellent Sadly they didn’t have room for us in their restaurant so we had to eat elsewhere
- Sudeep (10/5): Exceptional - Location was exceptional. Beautiful and serene. Well appointed. Eco friendly. Private playground for the kids. Hot tub for the adults. Beautiful wildlife. Excellent food. Kids really connected with nature and each other.
- LAURA (10/5): - This is a must do hotel! It is quiet and very well done. It is high end glamping with all the amenities. It even has a kitchen if you want to save a little and enjoy a nice dinner out without the guilt! Would definitely go back and stay 2 nights instead of 1!!
