• MICHAEL (8/5): A perfect Ginza hostel - I've stayed here in the past and the location is excellent. Located on a quiet street there is no traffic noise. Common area/ bar is a pleasant area and they've added a breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price...I didn't try it, but it looked good. I forgot how uncomfortably firm the bed is which is why it isn't a 5 star review

I stayed in a 6 bed shared dormitory, and the environment was quiet and respectful everyone was considerate, which made for a peaceful stay. Security was one of my initial concerns, but I had no issues at all. Luggage storage felt safe and secure, which was reassuring. The cleanliness of the dormitory and common areas was outstanding, making the stay very comfortable. The front desk staff were fantastic always helpful and ready to provide directions or recommendations for things to do in the area. Their local knowledge really added to the experience. Overall, I highly recommend Emano Tokyo Ginza Hostel for anyone looking for affordable, clean, and friendly accommodation in Tokyo. A great option for travelers!

• angel (8/5): - I stayed at the Imano Tokyo Ginza Hostel for just one night on September 18, 2024. I must say that my experience with the hostel was ok considering this is not a hotel and I have to share my room with complete strangers. I was on the 7th floor with 3 bunk beds housing 6 occupants. I was completely satisfied with my stay at the hostel and the staff was helpful, check-in was smooth and the rules set forth by the owner were straightforward. I get to meet people from other parts of the world and as long as you follow the house rules you are fine. It served its purpose as I have a tour in the morning to Mt. Fuji. I recommend this hostel for solo travelers who want to extend their bucks and save money for a short-term stay in Japan. Arigato Gozaimas Tokyo Ginza Hostel.

• さおり (8/5): - シンプルかつ必要最低限ながら、きれいな設備で快適に過ごすことができました。当方女性で男女共用フロアに宿泊しましたが、シャワーは女性専用フロアのものを利用可能だったことも嬉しいポイントでした。レンタル品の一覧と価格をサイトに掲載いただけるとより便利かなと思いました(見落としていたらすみません)。 新富町駅から徒歩2分ほどで、途中にコンビニもあり立地も便利です。季節がよければ東京駅からも歩けそうです。

Die Bettwäsche war leicht dreckig und auch das Zimmer an sich war etwas heruntergekommen. Leider war es auch sehr hellhörig. So hat man jeden Schritt, jede Tür und jedes Wort auf dem Gang gehört. Wir konnten erst sehr spät einschlafen und wurden früh wieder aufgeweckt von dem Lärm…
• Ayano (8/5): - 歌舞伎座や新橋演舞場、豊洲のステージアラウンド東京で観劇する時等に何度も利用させてもらっています。 今回は友人と一緒に女性専用個室（和室）を利用しました。 リネン類はドミトリーでも個室でもいつもきちんと整っていますし、お部屋も清潔だと思います。 コインランドリーもあるので連泊の際なども便利です。 10分ほど歩けば銭湯もあるので、シャワーだけでは物足りない方は利用されても良いと思います。
• Verified traveler (8/5): 4 night twin futon stay - Had a Japanese futon twin for our 4 nights in Tokyo. The hostel around a 20 minute walk from main Tokyo station. The rooms are small with little room for bags, and futons living up to the name of being hard, did take some getting used to. But apart from those 2 critiscms we had a good stay. Felt clean and the communal floor was good for chilling or eating. Location wise a few minutes from central ginza with loads of places to eat and shop
• Hing Yiu (6/5): - The stay was not totally satisfactory to be honest. They had zero noise cancellation between the bunks. The bed creaks every time I turn and I can hear what’s everyone doing inside the room. I felt having very little privacy during my stay.
• Verified traveler (6/5): ホテルの簡単な対応 - シャワーはほかの宿泊客との共有ですが、その分自分の止まっている階のシャワーが空いていなかったら、ほかの階のシャワーを借りれます。 ゴミ箱は部屋の中にはないですが、廊下にでれば共有であります。 部屋で飲食は出来ないですが、2階にイートインスペースがあり、そこでは時間内であれば有料でご飯の準備もしてくれます。お冷やお湯、冷蔵庫などはそこにあります。 チェックインの時間がくるまでと、チェックアウトした後もその日の22時までであれば、無料で荷物をおかせてもらうことが可能です。

We got a private room with private bathroom. Size is okay for 2 travelers. The front desk staff were helpful. I loved the 2nd floor hangout place for all travelers.

• michael (8/5): A nice place to stay... - In a quiet neighborhood, 15 minutes from tokyo station walking and 10 minutes from ginza shopping an ideal place to stay...beds are tatami mats, so firm, but I slept well (could have been jet lag). Don't use the washing mschines at the hostel... they suck...I found out afterwards there is a very nice laundromat across the street...early check-in would have been nice after a redeye flight... other than that it was a nice stay

• Naho (8/5): 今風ホテル - 寝るだけのつもりで探しており、とにかく安い！と思って予約しました。おしゃれな雰囲気で新しく清潔感もあり良かったです。でもさすがに部屋にテーブルとイスがなかったのは過ごしにくかったです。持ち込みで朝食したり、イスに座って一息、というのができなかったので…。でもその分かなり安かったですし、USBの差し込みがいくつもできたので、それは今風で便利で良かったなと思いました。一般的に設置してあるテーブルやイスがないのなら、わかりやすく明示すべきだとは思いますが、それ以外は満足です。

• Masato (8/5): - 施設は新しく綺麗で清潔でした。一階二階の共用スペースはコミュニティルームで活気があって良いと思いましたが、深夜過ぎても賑やか過ぎますし、ホテルの前で酔った若者数名が大声でしゃべったり、叫んだりして、ご近所迷惑だったと思います。年齢問わず抵抗のある人はいると思いますが、気にしなければ快適なホテルだと思います。1日に何回も開け閉め可能な貴重品入れ（大小タイプ）があるので、安心です。

• The (10/5): - Stayed here with me two daughters who are in their early 20s. We all felt very safe and comfortable. Loved the common area, the breakfast.. was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Definitely will stay again.
• BL (10/5): - A steal in Ginza area! The hostel is new and super clean. The modern design is warm and welcoming. The dorm bed 'cubicle' is spacious and bed is comfortable. The price offered here was lower than the official website, which even included breakfast! Areas of improvements: some larger storage (locker) in the room/in common area would be a good addition; there is only one shared shower on my floor so there was a bit of wait. But overall the hostel is still highly recommendable!
• clintellis99 (8/5): Budget Friendly Stay in Tokyo - I stayed in the 6 bunk room with 2 of my friends. The hostel is clean and is very calm. You can often find fellow travelers relaxing in the common areas. This hostel is in a great location as well. Very close to any public transportation.

The staff was happy to do the extra-mile to help you and were always really nice and helpful. I would run into the cleaning crew often which makes the space always clean and welcoming. Also the on-site menu options are very tasty and affordable. I don't have any negative comments except that I would recommend to buy the breakfast on-site occasionally. I was there for 2 weeks and with 3 different options of panini (very good though!) it can get repetitive. Thank you!
• jjTV84 (6/5): friendly hostel - well maintained hostel. the breakfast comes along with a panino (vegetarian too) & fries. The 6 beds room is a bit tight when there's six guests and their luggage. In less than 15 minutes walk you are already at Tokyo Station, no need to ride the metro or JR trains.

• JeeT975 (8/5): Location location location! - The immediate neighbourhood was quiet, so perfect to rest, but it was just a short walk to Ginza central which was very lively and fun to explore. Our aim was to eat as much sushi as possible in this trip, so it was really wonderful for us to stay here with so many wonderful sushi places nearby. Our room was clean (we stayed in a 2-bedder with private toilet/bath), and I loved self-service laundry facilities. Many powerports around the room was very convenient. Only downside was the room is really really really small, even for tokyo standards - no beds, two mattresses on the floor and no other room. We only had two medium sized backpacks and struggled to access our things.

• jsminej (10/5): Boutique Hostel!! - This was my first Hostel stay and Imano exceeded all my expectations!! The breakfast was phenomenal with fresh paninis, potato wedges and fruit/vegetable garnish served to your table. They celebrated their 2nd birthday while I was there and that was very entertaining with free food! They also have free umbrellas for use which worked out perfectly on a rainy day. Only con is you have to buy a towel but everything was super fresh and clean and so quiet. Would definitely stay again. Oh yea the staff was extremely friendly during the week I was there!!

• Marsella (8/5): It was really comfortable - This hotel has access to the MRT station, 200m from exit 2 of Shintomicho station (Yurakucho Line), 500m from exit 3 of Tsukiji station (Hibiya Line) and 750m from exit 2 of Kyobashi station (Ginza Line). There's a direct access to the airport from Tarakacho station (Asakusa Line) via an express train. And the nearest convenience store is 7-11 is within 200m. For the hotel, the lobby is quite spacious, allowing for last minute luggage pack/unpack. Working elevators, you can put on your shoes until you enter your room. Male / Female toilets are on each floor, but for shower booths, men's are separated on the 3rd, 4th and 6th floor. The sleeping mat is quite thin, and the hallway width on the dormitory room is around 1m. It'll be quite narrow if there's someone storing luggage in the room. My overall stay here is quite comfortable, if there's one thing that made it less comfortable, that will be the common room. Because the hotel basically is not wide, so there are not many benches and tables that we can use. Even though during our stay, we have never run out of space, but I think that is possible scenario if you don't like the idea to share a table. The staff is friendly and helpful. We can keep our luggage after checking out and if you have something valuable like camera or anything that you'd like to leave at the hotel, you can ask them to store it inside their office.
• RavaraMike (10/5): Warm welcome in Tokyo - When we eventually found our way to the Imano Tokyo Ginza Hostel, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. The difficulty in finding the hostel was our fault. First day in Japan, jet lagged and too tight fisted to use our phones sat nav. The Imano Tokyo Ginza Hostel is very conveniently located between 4 Metro stations and is ideally situated for first time visitors to Tokyo. The hostel packs a lot into a discreetly packaged site, is clean, comfortable and friendly. The staff evidently enjoy meeting visitors and the room rate and food charges are very reasonable for such a convenient location. I especially loved the communal guitar in reception and the polite applause every time I played it. Quite what they made of my repertoire of Irish and Scots songs is a mystery to me. I’ll certainly return if I’m ever back in Tokyo.
• LOllyLeung (10/5): Excellent experience! - The transport of Imano Tokyo Ginza Hostel surprised me. Although it is no located at the tourist area, there are several metro stations of different lines nearby. Therefore, it is convenient to travel around the city. It takes 15-minute walk from Tokyo station. The community near the hostel is residential area. I feel safe even I return to the hostel at the late night. There are some local restaurants and cafes around the hostel. The restaurants are mainly the high class ones with good environment and atmosphere, and also a higher price. The hostel is new and clean. I stayed in a private room for two people so we got our own toilet and shower room. The room is small that it can only place two tatami beds. It is hard for us to pack the baggage. However, the small room size is expected. The laundry, kitchen and the bar is on the second floor. It is a comfortable common area. It serves breakfast, lunch and bar time but I didn’t try it as I had meals outside. One thing I appreciate the most about the hostel is the smart, efficient, and energetic staff. They always put a smile on their face. They always find the solutions quickly and in a wise way. Their English is good. The most unforgettable experience is their effectiveness in email conversation. They can reply my email within several hours. Comparing with other hotel or hostel, others usually take one to two days to reply so they are very effective.

• AmandaN85 (6/5): Average hostel - I chose Imano because I read it was a really good hostel, however was pretty disappointed overall. They were very strict about the check in time and wouldn't budge a minute before 4pm, even for a dorm bed. They charge for towels even though the hostel itself is quite expensive. Plus breakfast is an extra charge too which is fine but there are signs everywhere saying you cant make your own food during breakfast hours, which considering the breakfast area is the only common area, it's unfair to not be able to eat your own food especially given its a hostel. There is also only one shower on each floor dedicated to with male or females with only 3 female showers in total meaning you have to wait ages to have a shower in the morning or night.
• Margaret (10/5): Great value for solo traveller in Tokyo - Booked hostel in 4-bed mixed dorm for my son to stay in Tokyo prior to a study tour. Perfect for his needs, loved the atmosphere and common area to meet other travellers. Perfect for 20-35 year olds. Happy with breakfast and later timing suited his lifestyle. Stayed 9 nights and would recommend to others of his age.
