Any issues the owner came or was there to help out quickly. Directly across the bay was the local ferry which for a fraction of the cost of the expensive 3 island trips you can do the same for so much less. We would recommend this hotel
• Darren (8/5): - Room.was ideal location for exploring the Old Town with local bus stops a few minutes walk and also if arriving by ferry close to the Port. The pool area was stunning and quiet, ideal after a long day sightseeing. The room was missing a few finer touches especially when staying 3 nights but woukdnt hestitate to stay here again!
• Kathleen (8/5): - Really lovely small hotel in a great location. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. The windows were good as there was very little street noise when closed. The pool area was a welcome respite from the heat and was uncrowded, clean and well maintained. We wished there had been bar service at the pool but we saved by picking up our own beer at the market. We had no hot water during our stay; the management had repair people coming and we understand that things break sometimes - but that was our only disappointment. Overall a great spot and we’d certainly return.

• Debbie (10/5): Perfect stay! - Beautiful rooms in a great location. Spotlessly clean, and wonderful friendly staff. Most comfortable bed ever! Mini fridge in room with water and tea/coffee provided. Breakfast available in Okra restaurant next to the accommodation - and was great value ( croissants, yoghurts, omelette, eggs/bacon and breads/jams etc as well as juices and tea/coffee

• Susan (10/5): - My partner and I stayed at the Bova Luxury rooms for 11 nights. The apartments are right across from a marina which was a gorgeous view. It was lovely to see the super yachts and cruise liners arrive every day. The apartments themselves are meticulously maintained and are cleaned every day with new bedding and towels. They are very modern but have a stylish old fashioned feel. Beach towels are provided for the pool. The pool belongs to the Orka apartments but there was never a time we couldn’t get loungers. The pool isn’t large but it’s big enough with a jacuzzi at one end. It is accessed by going up the steps next to Orka restaurant. Sanja, the owner of Bova apartments is lovely, very accommodating and was available in the apartments on a morning. She is also contactable if required. She gave us lots of information about where to get the buses from, where the supermarkets were and the scenic walk around the Lapad Peninsula. The apartments are about 40 minutes walk from Dubrovnik centre which we did most days or evening. If you purchase a Dubrovnik pass it gives free bus travel so whilst we had that we jumped on the number 6 bus to the town. There are plenty of supermarkets close by, one if you turn right out of the apartments and turn right again heading to Lapad centre or walk a bit further around the marina. There are also plenty of restaurants close by, although we ate in Lapad centre or Dubrovnik. A wonderful holiday in lovely apartments with a great hostess!
• Sophie Louise (10/5): - The hotel was in the perfect location - it is in a nice area, within walking distance of 3 beaches, and has easy access to public transport to the old town. It was very clean, the AC worked well, and it was quiet at night. The breakfast was at the restaurant next door and was very nice with fresh warm bread, croissants and eggs. We really enjoyed our stay.

So much to do around the property location including restaurants and wine bar which is next door. Would definately recommend this property to anyone visiting dubrovnik. Thanks Michael
• Jeremy (8/5): - Poor comms initially. Emails not answered. Expedia eventually intervened. Small and immaculately clean. Ideal for 1-2 nights while awaiting cruise departure. No restaurant. Breakfast nearby, until 0900. Nice friendly bar next door. Nice, welcome swimming pool, but no changing or toilet facilities!

• Bethany (10/5): Amazing stay for 5 days exploring Dubrovnik! - We had a great stay at Bova Luxury Rooms, the room was exactly as described on the pictures and description. Everything was super clean and tidy and very comfortable. The location was great for exploring both Lapad and the old town, only 15 minute walk to Lapad and 15 minutes or so on the bus into old town. Sanja, the host, was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which was a great surprise! We would definitely stay here again!

• Naomi (10/5): - Pristine apartment with high end fixtures and fittings. Very comfortable bed. Sanja is very friendly and was quick with her communication. You can get a €3 return bus ticket to Pile, Dubrovnik from the Tisak kiosk just 2 mins walk up the road- bus stops near Bobis bakery. Sunset beach is very pretty with lots of bars/restaurants a 20 min walk away. Enjoyable watching the boats in the Marina across the road - takeaway pizza from Il Vento. Highly recommend!

The pool isn't in the actual building and that could have been clearer, it was two doors down, but it was a great pool, very relaxing. We loved the view we had! It was also well maintained, linens were refreshed daily, cups and drinks updated which we appreciated a lot. There were regular buses to old town and many beaches too just a few metres away. I would recommend it to others!

• Hayley (8/5): Beautiful rooms but take ear plugs! - Beautifully decorated, good sized rooms and bathrooms. Great service too. Unfortunately there is no soundproofing between rooms so we heard everything from our neighbours upstairs, every step, when they used the toilet etc and one night they got in at 2.30am so wouldn’t say we had the best nights sleep!

• Lisa (10/5): Modern, clean and accommodating - Had a one night stay before transferring to one of the islands. We chose this place as it is a 15 walk to the port and it worked perfectly. The room was very clean, modern and had everything we needed. Our flight was delayed but reception kindly sent us the door code and left a room key for us so our late arrival wasn’t an issue. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

• Maeve (10/5): - Pros- rooms are very spacious and modern with a kettle and mini fridge, Pool is great, owner is lovely. Cons- roadworks ongoing outside property so difficult to access property and it is very unsightly outside for the entire length of the seafront. It was very loud in the mornings with the roadworks and noise travels within the whole building. I think this will be ongoing for a long time as there was a huge amount of rubble and machines etc. Overall I would definitely reccomend this property! One of the nicest places I have stayed.

• Brigitte (6/5): Bien mais… - Petite chambre agreable deco moderne. La propriétaire est a l’ecoute et de bon conseil…mais chambre au rez de chaussee directement sur le cour et la rue, donc impossible ouvrir les volets et impression d’etre dans une grotte. Un fort bruit de compresseur (bateau, camion ??) des 7 heures du matin. On nous dit que c’est parce qu’on a réservé seulement 2 jours avant qu’on a eu celle la. Mais les 2 chambres du rez de chaussée existent et sont louées. Donc la moindre des choses serait d’informer au moment de la réservation.

• jeff (10/5): brillant stay - it was a delightful stay at Bova luxury rooms from start to finish , are rooms were spotless, the pool was excellent , there are plenty of restaurants on your door step and all are excellent , its a small bus journey to the old town and a small walk to beach location, would recommend this place for a holiday location and would not hesitate to go back

• Olivia (8/5): - The rooms are spacious and clean, and we had wonderful service/support from Sanja, who was there to check us in even though we were delayed arriving, and even came to our rescue late at night when our room key stopped working. The marina is quite a ways out of Dubrovnik proper — not really a walkable distance, but Ubers and taxis are easy and it’s a less-than-10-minute drive except at the busiest times (when it took us about 20 minutes to get to the city). The plus side is having a quiet, safe place to retreat at night, and there’s an excellent wine bar just downstairs/next door!
• Jordan (10/5): Excellent apartment and location! - What can I say, from the moment we arrived and were greeted we were extremely happy with the service from Sanja. Not only were the apartments immaculate, modern and well serviced throughout our stay, Sanja was extremely polite and attentive. She couldn’t do enough for us. She also bought us a bottle of wine to help celebrate our anniversary which we were over the moon with. Sanja also recommended lots of things for us to enjoy whilst we were there. The pool was only a short walk away and was very well cleaned and quiet as it was not occupied by many guests. The location of the apartments were excellent. There was plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy on the harbour right on the doorstep of Bova, as well as a kilometre away on the promenade. The Old Town was 3km away and was accessible by foot and also on a short bus ride at the end of the street - bus number 6. I would highly recommend staying at Bova Luxury Rooms if you are staying in Dubrovnik, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back :)

On arrival we were met with a flurry of useful information on the local area, what to do and how to easily get about! Someone was on site every morning for any questions and said we could text any questions if they weren’t about. Other than the wonderful customer service, the room at bova was gorgeous. It was clean and beautifully decorated. It was quite literally luxury! Exceptionally reasonable for the location and quality of the room and stay. We would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

The room was spotless and exactly as pictured. In a great location less than 10mins drive to the old city but with restaurants, wine bars and a marina just outside the door some evenings were spent locally in the lapad area just outside the hustle and bustle of the main city. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

It doesn’t have a restaurant but it doesn’t need one either; just pop down the road for a wholesome breakfast (85 Kuna) at the equally excellent Orka restaurant. What’s more, the lady running the guest house was an absolute gem; thank you for the lovely welcome, the helpful local information, and for making the stay so pleasant. Highly recommended for single travellers like myself. Rich.

• HX (10/5): Cost hotel by the marina - It’s located at Lapad which is a quiet neighborhood with nice restaurants within walking distance. The distance to the main bus station is approximately 10 min drive by Uber so it is convenient if you intend to arrive by bus

There is a nice seating area outside and I would suggest the owners build an elevated patio so guests could enjoy a nicer outlook

• Prashant (8/5): Lovely Apartment - Stayed here for 3 nights. This is a beautiful place. The owner is extremely helpful. In spite of delay in our arrival from Bosnia she made sure that everything is in place. The apartment is very clean and all the necessary amenities are in place. The apartment is located at some distance from the old town. There are regular buses to the old town and reaching the main touristic places is not a problem.
