- Gillian (10/5): - We loved the quirky Hart Hotel where industrial heritage has been transformed into very comfortable and attractive rooms with very thoughtful extras like lots of USB sockets. After an evening meal elsewhere we returned and had excellent cocktails in the bar, enjoying the ambiance and having a chat with the knowledgeable bar tender.

- Rex (10/5): Lovely Hotel - It was a short stay but the hotel had everything we needed and a great night sleep as well. Comfort was definitely top of the list. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for long or short stay.
- Ann (10/5): - Hart Hotel was perfect. Medina was charming, people very friendly. You just go to your room with the code that is texted to you. Our room was a studio with small kitchen area. Hotel is convenient to the Erie Canal and we stored our bikes inside. The Newell bar in the lobby was very inviting and the employees very pleasant.
- Ettore (10/5): - This place is a gem. The rooms are spacious and there are dining options downstairs. The beds were very comfortable, the digital check in process was very easy to complete and the room amenities were superb. We walked the downtown area and found good dining options available.

The room, Unit 3, was welcoming and small but cozy with excellent air conditioning and a spacious and clean shower with wonderful amenities. A very short walk to Medina’s best dining. Comfy bed, we slept great. We enjoy staying here after our annual trek home from the Shaw Festival. There is a little street noise but it quieted after 10 pm which was fine. Love that the in-room coffee is an excellent quality.

The interior design, warmth of staff, toiletry offerings, simple and clear directions for the fireplace, every element of detail is carefully tended to at this hotel. The food and drinks in the cafe downstairs were delicious from a foodie perspective and they were happy to accomodate to those with simpler tastes. The hotel was pleasantly quiet, very walkable to plenty of dining options and GORGEOUS. Definitely plan to return.

- Thomas (8/5): - Hart House is nice and has a lot of character. Very clean. The bar area is very nice. On the downside, it has the slowest elevator on the planet. Note also there is no breakfast offered. There is no front desk - the hotel is completely self-service. I overall I give Hart House 4 stars out of 5. I would give it a 5 if the price was more reasonable, but I stayed on a Friday night and they jack up the rates significantly on weekends.

The rooms are quirky, i.e. there were 2 lamps on each side of the bed and the lampshades were old that no longer had any fabric over the metal frame. It was very different but it worked well. In the morning there's a coffee shop attached to the hotel, in the evening theres a separate small bar.

We loved the cushioned window seat that extended over the sidewalk just 30 feet from the hub of Medina. Make sure to visit the extraordinary train museum a short walk away.

- Holly (10/5): Lovely Vintage Hotel w Modern Flair!! - Lovely refurbished old hotel with modern flair and decor blended seamlessly w the vintage. So many artistic touches and thoughtful details. Beautiful shower!!! Located in the heart of downtown Medina, a quaint and friendly town right off the Erie Canal bike trail. We biked from Niagara Falls that morning, arrived around 2pm. Met Andrew who got us settled in to our room. Had a much needed shower and had dinner at the local pub with friendly locals. Overall a wonderful stay in Medina at a gem of a hotel.

As a lactose intolerant person, I really appreciated the oatmilk creamers you had available, as well as the other extra toiletries, and comfort items in the hall. We also loved the jetted tub and rainfall shower. We are definitely recommending Hart House to our friends!!!
- Edward (6/5): Not happy being charged an extra $100 for what - I’m not one to complain but the heat wouldn’t turn on. The water in the tub wasn’t hot even after I asked how to make it hotter. The tv on the wall would not change channels and the front desk man came in unhooked the wire and I didn’t wanna interrupt our stay by having to leave the room til it was fixed. I’m not complaining but now you’re asking me for an additional $100 and the room wasn’t overly messy it was a lil messy bc we stayed the night. There was some extra garbage but that’s expected. That’s what housekeeping is supposed to do. Again not complaining but don’t know why I am being charged an extra $100. They moved my room bc it was too small. And I asked for a cot bc my sister was with me. And no cot. Brought 2 small blankets and a small pillow. We did not smoke in the room but I had to open the window all night to air it out bc it smelled of something in the drain.

- Anthony (10/5): - The room, Brakepad, theme fit with my bicycle trip along the Erie Canal path from Buffalo to Rochester. The Schwin sign on the wall made it perfect. The room was neat and clean with everything I needed. A two minute bike ride to a mexican restaurant made the stay perfect.

The meadery and cocktail bar downstairs were fun places to hang, and there were other restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

- Jurel (10/5): - Hart House Hotel is the perfect place to stay at, if you want to get away from the fast paced corporate world. All of your communication with the hotel is done through text messages. This includes checking in and any other needs you may have during your stay. This hotel only has 4 hotel room units (located on the 3rd floor) to book for your stay and each room has their own theme. So booking in advance is a must. Also when booking you get to choose the room you would like to stay in. Unlike franchise hotel chains, there is no front desk, bell boys, lobby, or swimming pool areas. This may not appeal to the traditional family vacation travelers, this is more of a couples getaway. This building is shared with other businesses such as, the Attorneys office of Webster Schubel Meier (2nd floor). Shirt factory and the tasting meadery room of Meadworks ( both on the 1st floor). I loved the fact we had to be self reliant, but as independent as we were. We still had available to us customer service all being available through their texting service. The room was quite nice. I really like the simple old world look with a touch of modern styling. The room came with a mini fridge, cable tv, and Wi-Fi. There was no microwave or kitchen area, but there is a area in the hallway with a microwave to use. The bed was nice and comfortable as well as the pillows. The 4 large windows was a nice feature as well, having the light shine in was great.
