Guest Reviews
- sarahsW2342FN (10/5): Sole East is my home away from home! - I always stay at Sole East whenever I visit MTK throughout the summer. It’s really close to town, and you’re set for the weekend because they have a delicious restaurant, fun bar, pool, tanning lounges, and a cute boutique shop. My favorite part about staying here is waking up in the morning, grabbing a coffee from the restaurant, and just walking around the resort’s stunning grounds (yes - it’s that beautiful). If you want a fun, relaxing, and wholesome MTK weekend, you’ll want to stay here.
- Kathleen (10/5): -
- Robert (10/5): - Nice property, clean room
- joyce (4/5): - Would not go back
- Lise S (6/5): - The hotel website as well as Expedia lists the restaurant open for breakfast, the reason we booked the hotel. But was told upon arrival, that due to low capacity the restaurant would only be open for dinner. A most disappointing news.
- Paul (10/5): - Staff was nice….small fridge in the rooms would be a home run
- melissapI8605YJ (10/5): 5 star girls getaway - Just got back from the most amazing girls' Labor Day weekend at Sole East and we’re already planning our return! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs—friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
The rooms were spacious, stylish, and super comfortable—esp loved the Apotheke toiletries locally made in Brooklyn they smelled amazing! We spent hours by the heated pool, stretched out on the oversized chaise beds. The cocktails were expertly crafted I highly recommend their mojitos! The food- Delicious! The Frito Misto was a standout—crispy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing.
The grounds were something out of a Gatsby dream—beautifully landscaped, peaceful, dotted with strung lights & private seating areas that made it easy to relax and star gaze. Our last night, we gathered around the firepit with cocktails and s’mores. Pure magic.
Sole East is the ultimate getaway spot for a girls’ trip—chic, welcoming, and totally unforgettable. -Melissa
- Samantha (6/5): - Just ok.
- Amanda (10/5): - Great place to stay! Close to town and beach. Bikes to used along with a great pool/day beds
- Kira (10/5): - Beautiful gardens.
- Maggie (10/5): - The room was very tiny but cozy. There was this rod sticking out in the bathroom that was a trip hazard for my kids. Linens had smudge marks on the pillow. Could have been changed out more that’s all. The hallways and the grounds had a vibe. The check-in process was not efficient. I would have preferred a card not a key to the room. But I get the nostalgia. There should have been a menu in the lobby of what the restaurant offers or atleast in the room. Could have been a nice touch. What I liked was the ground and the restaurant, it had a vibe. Close to things in Montauk, walkable to the town if you like a challenge, parking was close, you felt safe. The pool was gorgeous.
- Erica (10/5): - Love Sole East! Can't wait to stay again next Summer.
- Michael (2/5): - Dont waste your time and stay elsewhere.
- Roam11767530808 (10/5): Another wonderful trip to Solé East - We’ve been staying at Solé East for a few years now, and it’s always a wonderful experience. The staff is consistently warm and welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better for enjoying everything Montauk has to offer. The onsite restaurant is excellent, and we love taking out their bikes to cruise around town just as much as we enjoy lounging by the pool or stargazing from the hammocks at night. If you’re looking for an easy, relaxing weekend getaway, give Solé East a try—you won’t regret discovering this laid-back little gem.

- Odyssey45174399774 (10/5): 4 years coming here, multiple times a summer! - My family is obsessed with Sole East Resort! We have been coming to Montauk since we were kids, and when we had kids, we started staying at Sole East Resort. There’s a beautiful pool and brand new lounge beds, corn hole, giant connect four, the best French fries in Montauk, amazing restaurant right by the pool with amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Beautiful kept lawn and flower gardens with hammocks, a fire pit that they set up for you nightly, I could go on and on. The food is great. It’s great not to have to schlep to the beach and be able to order a cocktail at the pool, it feels like a real vacation. You can even bike into town, they have complimentary, really pretty hotel bikes. Town is a 3 minute drive from the hotel. The front desk staff is so so nice and super nice to our kids every time we go! Definitely a family friendly hotel and vibe, feels like a lot of regulars and friendly faces, it’s always a great stay, we truly love it!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Best weekend ever!
- Michel (10/5): - Staff is wonderful Thomas very kind great personality.
Only thing I would love is the room should have some type of hot water or a coffee machine for morning wake up and wash cloth for shower.
- Kristin (6/5): - The property itself was very cute and the service at the front desk and pool area were great. The room we stayed in though was so so tiny, it was uncomfortable for a family of 3. The room also didn’t feel super clean.
- Lisa (10/5): We had a wonderful time. Beautiful room. Gorgeous grounds, and excellent nightlife. My dog loved it as well. We will be - It’s beautiful and so relaxing. The price. A little high, plus a big dog fee.
- Shirley (10/5): - Nice vibe at the pool area and overall the help os super.. Beautiful gardens and very accessible to everything in Montauk!!!
- amber (4/5): MOLD - My room had previous water damage, you could see it rippling the wall paper. I am terribly sensitive to mold and woke up the next morning feeling awful. There was 100 percent mold present. I left a day early due to this. The service at the pool was also mediocre at best. When paying these prices I expect for things to be more than subpar. I will not being staying here again.
- Per (10/5): - Everything was abs
- ETNYC (10/5): Always a great time at Sole East - We just came back from our annual family trip to Montauk. For the past 4 years we have stayed at Sole East Resort and always have the best time !
Town is a 5 minute drive and they even have all the beach gear for us to use at their sister property. Thomas and the front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating. Rosey at the restaurant is super attentive and Nicole who runs the boutique was super personable. The owners did a fabulous job completely renovating the restaurant and bar. This changed the whole aesthetic of the back !
Thank you Sole East- we will be coming back again next year !
- nicoledaisyt (10/5): 10/10 - This is out 4th year in a row that my family and friends stay here .
In my opinion, there is no better place to stay with families or even a romantic getaway
The hotel staff is so friendly
The rooms are immaculate, and that’s hard to say in a beach town!
Food is 10/10
The grounds alone are out of a fairy tail
Can wait for next year !
- Flyer14499300773 (10/5): Solè, Solè, Solè, Solè…. Were all part of Jackys army! - Just back from an awesome trip in Montauk celebrating July 4th.
My recommendations below on Solè East Beach hotel.
Solè East Beach motel in Montauk is a hidden gem! It feels cozy and intimate. The beach is right there, making it perfect for beach lovers. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. It's a great option for those looking for a relaxed, beachy vibe in Montauk. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others!
Looking forward to returning next season.

The food was outstanding wether you were looking for a light snack or dinner. The team could not have done more for us.I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to explore and enjoy the beauty that is montauk.

- Michael (2/5): - Never Again....Lesson Learned..
- Quest40749845796 (2/5): Terrible Stay - DON'T STAY HERE!!! The owners Tom and Dave are not nice people and will try to steal your money. The hotel is not nice, staff is not friendly. Terrible Terrible experience
- Elizabeta (10/5): It was not so great initially but Thomas made sure we were happy with our stay. Loved it after he made some changes to t - The restaurant and backyard. Room size.
- Veronica89_07 (2/5): Deceptive practices, rude staff, and unacceptable treatment of guests - We booked this place and called ahead to ask about early check-in. The woman on the phone was blunt and unfriendly. When asked about early check-in, she told us we could pay $50 to check in before 4 PM. After the call, she sent a text confirming the $50 fee as if she hadn’t already said it clearly over the phone.
When we arrived, I mentioned that the woman on the phone had been rude. The man at the front desk, Thomas, said, “Oh, that was not us, that was the call center. We’re nice here.” Later, we realized that was a complete lie. There is no call center. The same woman was sitting right there at the front desk. He lied to our faces, then bizarrely added, “She’s from Kazakhstan.” What does where she’s from have to do with anything? As an immigrant myself, I found that not only irrelevant, but offensive.
We were told to wait by the pool but couldn’t bring our own snacks. So we ordered food and drinks from their restaurant and spent almost $200. We noticed that hotel properties were pretty empty so around 3 PM, I called the desk again. I said, “I understand that check-in is at 4, but it’s almost 3 PM, can you please check if you have anything available?” Thomas repeated the $50 fee. I then asked about occupancy. First, he refused to answer, asking why it mattered. Then he said 80%. I pointed out that if 20% of rooms were unoccupied, why not give one to guests who were already here, already spending money? His answer: “You can have a room if you pay $50.” Basically confirming that there is a room available but we need to pay extra $50 in order to get it. That was the stated policy. The logic was ridiculous. No flexibility. Just petty gatekeeping. I calmly replied, “That’s unbelievable.” No yelling. No insults. Just disbelief.
That one sentence was enough for him to snap. He came back and said we wouldn’t be staying because I used inappropriate language. My friends were stunned. They said, “She didn’t curse at you, we were sitting right here.” His reply? “Well, she used a curse word. That’s why you’re not staying.” We were all in shock. This wasn’t about language. It was about power, ego, and control.
It got worse. After we were told that we no longer had a room (a room we booked months prior), my friend tried to get a refund for the food we ordered by the pool at THEIR restaurant and didn’t even get to eat. Denied. He then started yelling at her, completely unhinged.
I asked for the owner’s contact, then for Thomas’s full name. He refused and said, “Just say Thomas, everyone knows me in the Hamptons.” He gave us a number for the supposed owner, who never responded.
I travel a lot, both internationally and domestically, and I have never seen behavior this unprofessional, hostile, or unhinged from hotel staff. We are a group of teachers and nurses. We have families and kids and we don’t get to see each other often. We do a Montauk trip celebrating the end of the school year, something we do every year. This guy tried to ruin it because I questioned a nonsense $50 fee.
We ended up staying at another hotel nearby, better in every way. Half the price, actually a hotel (not a motel pretending to be a high-end hotel) and run by people who actually understand hospitality.
And it’s not just us. Look at the other reviews. This is a pattern. So how is this man still employed? How are the owners okay with it? He lies to guests, retaliates when questioned, yells, disrespects, humiliates, and kicks paying customers out just for speaking up. The real question is: are the owners clueless, complicit, or just don’t care?
- kimsZ1304NW (2/5): Vile, Disgusting, and Misogynistic – Never Stay at Sole East. This place should be shut down. What was marketed as a “c - Vile, Disgusting, and Misogynistic – Never Stay at Sole East.
This place should be shut down.
What was marketed as a “charming boutique hotel” turned out to be a complete nightmare. The rooms were miniature , the amenities were a joke, but worst of all — the manager, Thomas is an absolute disgrace of a human being.
From the moment we checked in, his attitude was revolting. He barely acknowledged us but was make inappropriate comments right in front of us — smirking like he thought it was funny. When we asked a simple question about our room being ready, he cut me off mid-sentence and said, “Why don’t you let call center handle that ” I’m not exaggerating — that’s verbatim. I was stunned, since there isn’t even a call center that exists.
Throughout our stay, I watched him belittle us more as we had simple questions — raising his voice, snapping his fingers at us, and even mocking one friends accent in front of guests. It was appalling.
It felt like being trapped in some 1950s nightmare. I’ve never encountered someone in hospitality — or any workplace — behave so disgustingly toward women. And the worst part? He clearly thinks he’s untouchable. Arrogant, condescending, and completely lacking any sense of professionalism. His presence alone ruined our stay.
If you’re a woman, or honestly just a decent human being, DO NOT give this place your money. Supporting this business is supporting blatant misogyny and emotional abuse of staff and guests alike.
Shame on this hotel. Shame on whoever employs this man. And shame on anyone who ignores reviews like this and still chooses to stay. We won’t stop until justice has been served.
- Mariam (2/5): - The room was damp, the towels were dirty, the floors were dirty just terrible
- Ladasha (10/5): - Absolutely amazing!!!!!
- kmichelini (4/5): Nice place with deceptive billing - I traveled to Montauk for a wedding and stayed at Sole East, as it was the recommended hotel by the couple getting married. I made my reservation about a year in advance and committed to a “negotiated rate” for a three-night stay over the wedding weekend.
I checked in late at night and signed the paperwork without thoroughly reviewing the details. Unfortunately, I later realized the rate I signed off on was different from the originally quoted preferred rate for weekend nights. At the time of booking, I was shown a total price that reflected the preferred rate across all days, but I was ultimately charged significantly more for the weekend nights.
My frustration stems from the fact that my exact travel dates were known from the beginning—there should have been no confusion or discrepancy in pricing.
I attempted to dispute the charges through AMEX, but the claim was denied since I had signed the agreement. Interestingly, the hotel representative I spoke with seemed very familiar with the issue, suggesting she had dealt with similar complaints before. She appeared confident that AMEX would reject my case.
This issued wasn't isolated, everybody there from the wedding had the same issue.
That said, the property itself is very nice, and I did enjoy my stay overall.
- Ken (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jodi (10/5): - Great location
Beautiful boutique style hotel
Always a great stay
- dillonm242 (4/5): October 24 visit - Positive: nice staff, free parking, ground are nice.
Negatives: paper thin walls, our AC did not work (and was not fixed within the 24 hours the staff was notified), hot water did not work the last morning, small rooms, blinds were missing the handles to adjust angle, no in-room coffee.
Montauk is expensive in general, but the value proposition of Solé East leaves much to be desired.
- Tanya (7/5): Good - Nice decor and property Need more toiletries and towels no coffee in room or available till after 12
- Anthony (8/5): Beautiful resort - Location and great restaurant on property Would like refrigerator in room already.
- Emily (6/5): - Just ok! Multiple bugs found in our room and just did not feel clean or nice for the price
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Kathryn (10/5): - Perfect Montauk getaway
- Sarah (8/5): Delightful! Great quick end of summer trip to Montauk. We enjoyed our stay very much! - The breakfast and bar area were so nice we made friends with the staff, and breakfast was delicious. The staff was super accommodating and nice. We loved the location and our room was super comfortable. Our stay was very pleasant and we would go back. The only issue I had was this bug that was in our bathroom that looked (and ran) like a small cockroach. That freaked me out. But we were on the main level.
- Tom (5/5): Decent place but not worth the money n won’t be staying there again - The outside pool area n restaurant My wife got burned in the shower due to a broken handle n absolutely nothing was done nobody seemed like they really gave a shit
- Marisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- douglasy656 (10/5): What a wonderful experience! - This resort was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. It started with the pleasant front desk staff that helped us check in and continued until we had to leave. The on site bar and restaurant was filled with great staff, especially Alfonso, the bar tender. His spicy margaritas were the go to drink for our stay. Our room was fabulous and everything we needed was right there. The town of Montauk is filled with great dining opportunities from the little bakery to the delicious seafood you would expect in an ocean side town and Sole is conveniently located to take it all in.
- John (8/5): Helpful staff, OMara, friendly, courteous, profess - very nice staff very helpful and accommodating
- Dominic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lawrence (10/5): - Sole East had a great ambience, super clean and a pleasure to stay. Only issue was the fire alarm going off at 6am and again the next day. Otherwise it was a nice get away!
- Gillian (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (4/5): Hotels should guarantee a good nights sleep - I loved the location and the outdoor space The cheap lanterns in the very expensive room,
The room number signs were offensive as if to say, "you're not that important "
The old dressers that didn't open due to humidity,
- jasonfV5253KF (2/5): Stay farrrrrr away - My mother passed away on day of arrival
Asked them if I could please reschedule or get a refund
They told me not their problem and refused
Go someplace else with real people that care about one another
I sent in death certificate they are horrible people
- Leister (5/5): Passable -
- Nicola (7/5): Good - Sole East Resort is a pretty hotel with both garden and beach atmospheres, much like the Hamptons locale. The rooms are clean with extremely comfy beds. The grounds are well maintained, with the hotel located within walking distance of a mile into town. The on-site restaurant offers delicious food and drinks with a trendy casual atmosphere. It is an excellent place for small dogs. The bathrooms need to be updated. The old tub in my bathroom was stained from constant usage. It is astonishing that the rooms do not have small refrigerators and that to receive one, it must be requested and paid for. It appears the goal is for guests to utilize and spend money at the on-site restaurant. I've stayed at many of Montauk's hotels (including Sole Beach), and not having access to a small refrigerator is a first.
- Ashley (1/5): They did not accommodate my family and my 3 yr old -
- Elena (4/5): - The rooms are ok. For $800 the service was not good at all. The beach chairs are very dirty and the was not clean. No fridge in the room and no safe No garbage can in the room and you can hear the neighbors.
- Vanessa (7/5): Good - Quiet, secluded accommodation very close to the heart of what Montauk has to offer. Staff is very accommodating and moved us to a different room when our bathroom / shower handle needed repair. My kids and I had a comfortable stay at the resort. While not a dealbreaker, guests will need a car if they what to explore the center/ village where restaurants, shops, and access to the beach can be found. I also feel that the food is slightly more expensive for what they offer (breakfast offering at the resort is a lot more expensive than what you get from diners/ restaurants at the village for the same menu).
- Karen (8/5): Great stay - It’s always a delight staying at this property. The grounds are beautiful, it’s very close to all attractions, and the staff has always been very accommodating. Love it here.
- Maria (10/5): Great place to get a way to! - The ease of parking and proximity to my suite, pool and restaurant-
- Alexander T. (10/5): - Nice weekend stay in Montauk. Quiet room with excellent wifi and AC. The restaurant and bar were terrific. Great for lunch and cocktail hour or after dinner drinks.
- Melissa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Navigator04947054952 (10/5): Relaxing Stay, loved it! - We just returned from a 6 night stay with our family and dog. I booked our stay in February for our July vacation based upon the hotel amenities and dog friendly policy. Shortly before our arrival I was reading some negative reviews and became nervous I made the wrong decision, which compelled me to write a review. The thing that left the most impression is the hotel is immaculate. Someone is always cleaning something. Our room was a double queen, 3 people and our dog. A dresser and a nightstand with drawers fit most of our things. The rest I was able to hang up. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bedding and duvet covers are stripped and changed daily! loved that. Bathroom was a little small but fine. Aveda products. The pool is surrounded by daybeds that are very comfortable. . We had drinks and lunch by the pool, food and service was good. The restaurant was recently renovated, beautiful space and nice bar. We had breakfast a few times and it was excellent, especially the egg sandwich and the pancakes. This is a large property with a lot of outdoor space. You can nap in a hammock, enjoy the fire every night at dusk with a glass of wine and plenty of room for your dog. The only negative thing that I can say is there is a "resort fee" that applies to the use of the pool or the bicycles. Looking at my bill, Some days the charge was $35 and other days it was $30. plus taxes. It is an unnecessary fee that seems like a bit of a money grab when you are paying over $500 night. Otherwise, I recommend especially if you are traveling with your pet. We will be back.
- Jayma (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jeffrey (9/5): Very accommodating -
- Holzman (8/5): The staff was accommodating and easy to talk to. - WE loved the bonfire every evening. The pool was FREEZING!
- Lisa (1/5): Bad -
- 193hillaryk (2/5): Inconsiderate management - The most inconsiderate, heartless management who would not give us a credit for the stay when we had to abruptly leave because we were notified our dog was critically ill. She ended up passing away the day we left Sole East. We did not ask for our money back but just a credit to return before the season ended. We provided proof of our dog's death and received no response from management whatsoever. We are a long-standing customer of the hotel and were treated poorly and without respect. Further, no one from management would even get on the phone and only the front desk staff answered with generic cold responses.
- Ola (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay, everything was warm and welcoming! Our son loved the pool and the comfortable bed for cozy movie nights. nothing!
- ohmyblueskies (4/5): Stay elsewhere in Montauk - Expensive and not worth the money. Ridiculously small , noisy and ill equipped rooms. No water , no coffee , a single bar of soap , no toilet paper holder- I could go on. Paid $300 additional money to bring our dog. The “garden view “ (a joke) has what looks like scratch marks from what one can only guess previous pets. So what are people paying extra for , the money certainly isn’t used to repair any damages? A resort fee is charged , this hardly feels like a resort. It’s trying to be hip with a pool and a DJ , but it’s all smoke and mirrors. At best this feels like a hostel with four season like prices. Truly disappointing.
- Anonymous (10/5): This place is great, we stay every year. The rooms are clean, the staff is wonderful - The property has everything you need, pool, restaurant, firepit, hammocks, beautiful landscaping
- Kathleen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (7/5): Pleasant stay. - Grounds were gorgeous. Staff was very nice. Restaurant was excellent. Location was convenient to all. Bathroom was poorly designed. Toilet seat cover could not go all the way back because of extended vanity counter over the tank. Therefore, the toilet seat cover was always touching you when you were on it. For the price, something like this should not be an Inconvenience.
- Chris (7/5): Good - Food was good and pool area was nice Rooms are a little small, the lounge chair cushions are dirty and the restaurant should be allowed to charge the room directly since most people don’t have their wallets at the pool.
- Kady (5/5): It’s a nice hotel, not great - The bed was comfortable and the room was clean The pool was freezing, pool chairs were dirty and drinks are too expensive. The bed was so small for two beds. The tables at the pool lounge were dirty
- Kristine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dennis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colleen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pavel (6/5): - Good location if you have a car. Otherwise you'll be Ubering. We got the feeling that some of the staff genuinely hate the people who visit this hotel, unnecessarily cold and unwelcoming. The Montauk tax is strong here, with everything being over-priced, but being asked to pay spend $200 (in food and drinks) in order to get a lounging chair on a Saturday next to the pool, after already spending almost $900/night is just insulting.
5/10, would not come back.
- Joyce (9/5): Nice place, reasonably priced and nice staff - Breakfast was very good. Had bacon, eggs and home fries. Room was a little small but we made due.
- S620RHevanh (4/5): Meh - When we arrived in Montauk, the pool was under construction for 2 days. A jackhammer was the music of choice, we received no discount for the rate we paid from the hotel and they were a less than friendly staff. Additionally, I reviewed prices the following 2 weekends after staying and booking through this site and found room rates for $150 less at this specific location. It may have been based on occupancy and I run my own rental properties so I completely understand the need to raise rates based on availability and dependent on season / weekend etc. Our friends had a great experience booking this place last year but they told me this year it was not remotely the same experience in terms of our stay. They had zero water to provide or even sell customers staying at the hotel and it just seemed like there was a bare minimum effort going on. For a place charging $700 a night, you'd think they could come up with a few Dasani's for the guests.
Pool is a nice setup and I was told they have a DJ but I think the jackhammer spoiled that, they have bags in the back in a courtyard area which is a good time and they had a solid bartender who kept us entertained. Room's are solid. First room's AC didn't work but they made swift accommodations to fix that.

- Camille (6/5): On the whole I enjoyed my stay. - The grounds were excellent! pool and restaurant felt like a private club. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My toy poodle loved meeting other dogs and run around on grass. Really super outside. Room were quiet. The room was small. The web description of 2 rooms with double beds was inaccurate. There was no sitting room, no table and only one shelf and no hooks. It needed places to rest my things.
- MonikaMSG (10/5): We loved this place! - What a great place! A bit on the pricy side but the place is unique and quite hip. I think awhile back it was more popular but we loved the place. The rooms are quaint and very beach resort. The bed was super comfortable and the rooms very clean. The restaurant had one of the best clam chowders I ever tasted. We ended up meeting some of the owners and they were quite friendly and even bought us a cocktail. I would highly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing place

- jane (4/5): - The property is lovely but we were charged a resort fee which I had no idea about. This was for the facilities. Check in is at 4 and checkout at 11am so for what? Incredibly noisy. Could hear running in the halls, loud partying in next room in the middle of the night. Close to front desk so not sure how they could not hear multiple people in a tiny room screaming at 3 am.lastly, breakfast was not good. Server was not friendly and eggs under cooked which resulted in an unpleasant ride home.
- Alice (8/5): - Fantastic venue, which I will return to. Only two drawbacks: 1) the rooms are extremely small. 2) I guess they haven't gotten the message that we are trying to get away from "junk fees," since there is a surprise "resort fee" that is billed on arrival.
- hoganp38 (10/5): Favorite Spot to Stay in MTK! - Love this place! Great spot to be, with awesome food and drinks. Afternoons by the pool after coming off the beach are fun. The rooms are clean and while sole gets a great crowd, you aren’t overwhelmed and you feel like you have your own privacy when you need it. My favorite spot to stay in MTK.
- calvinp381 (10/5): Great Time - Great location. Great drinks and food. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Really enjoyed the music and energy by the pool during the day and night. The backyard has different seating areas and hammocks to enjoy.

- DayTrip06915056757 (10/5): Great Place - Great set up, cool fun vibe, DJ playing good tunes around the pool. Was there with a group of friends and the owner was very accommodating- e.g., set us up with a great table outside. Food was vg. Then we all hung out at the fire pit that they had set up with a great fire. Really good time!
- Terry (7/5): Good - property was clean, well located, and check in and out was quick and easy you can hear everything from the hallway. The cleaning crew should be a little more mindful of this. Very loud in conversation while guests are trying to sleep or just relax.
- Madeline (10/5): - Amazing Hotel, the staff was so kind and the room was very clean

- Katayoon (8/5): Pretty oasis in MTK - We loved the outdoor experiences at this hotel. It's a little oasis. The pool was nice and relaxing. We did not love that we couldn't wake up and eat at the hotel during the week and that the drinks ordered at the pool could not be charged to the room.
- Departure23070527094 (10/5): Sole East is the best place to stay and/or eat in MTK - Awesome vibe- beautiful piece of property. The rooms are simple high end with nice clean white linens with high thread count. The indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant are really chill with a great scene. We ate at a big table under the stars. The new chef is amazing and the service was great - not rushed out. There is nothing better than hanging out by the pool on the weekend, listening to the DJ and having a cocktail. Close to town and beach but far enough away to feel like you have space to relax and unwind. Sole East is the best place in MTK!
- michaelfR9036WL (10/5): Sole East is a gem! - Incredible vibe, food, cocktails and location. Boutique feel with awesome service and attention to detail. The hotel has that modern /clean all white look. The rooms are perfect. The pool, shuffleboard, bikes to tour the neighborhood are all on point.
