Volunteered to bring an extension cord to my room. Lina in breakfast room very helpful and friendly. Breakfast basic but good. Each day eggs, meat, some days biscuits and gravy, good coffee. Stayed 7 days, would stay again. Location a bit funky but doable. 6 minutes from St Anthony’s. Looked for a hotel close to hospital to use just for sleep and shower. Choose this hotel as part of Marriott chain but lower priced compared to other hotels in area. Denver light rail from airport to hospital takes about 90 minutes. Get off at Jeffco Federal, then 8-minute walk to hospital. Mexican food at Jose O’Shea’s - only get the chicken fajitas. Breakfast at Le Peep good. Jason’s deli not so much. Whole Foods 10 minutes away. Outback Steakhouse no. Bonefish Grill grilled fish really good - one plate serves two. Rm 211. Quiet.

- JDSoui (8/5): Comfortable Business Stay - Had a comfortable business stay for two nights. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and quiet. The gym was sufficient with some free weights, cable machine and treadmills. Breakfast was included and had very healthy options. Be sure to ask for a room not facing the freeway, which is adjacent to the hotel

- Tonia (10/5): Happy guests - The hotel was convenient to the base and really worked great. It was clean, staff were friendly, the treadmill and elliptical machines were in Great condition. We slept well on comfortable beds and enjoyed the breakfast bar. The coffee was hot and strong- great flavor. The only downside is the road noise, but nothing they can do about that and hearing it just means it is easy in and out to go sight seeing.

- Verified traveler (8/5): No Safe and some small items are just annoying - There are three issues I'd like to point out...one is important and the other two are small and picky, I'll share them anyway. First - I found that there was no safe in the room unacceptable. I have stayed in a hundred hotels and your Hotel is the first to not have a safe. This true of Hotels in your same category and same target market. I brought some valuable items with me and had no place to secure them. Second...impressions count. the paper towels you provide in the Kitchen are so obviously cheap. They tear and don't pick up the amount of liquid I would have expected. Third: The coffee maker in the kitchen was old...and the dial on the filter is worn away so one doesn't know what one's options are in terms of what I assume is desired strength of coffee I may have wanted. As I say impressions count...i would have higher expectations of any Marriott property over what I assume a Holiday Inn or Motel 6 would offer. The two 'picky' items are so inexpensive to address that I would be disappointed if you didn't take my concerns to heart. I will never stay at this property again, by choice, so I will never know if you address the lack of a safe. Thank you.
- OnAir553501 (8/5): Overall, A Good Stay. - All in all, a very good experience staying at this hotel. First and foremost, the room was very clean and comfortable. No issues with the room. We had a standard room with a king bed, and it was spacious. We stayed there while maintenance was being performed on their elevators. Only 1 of 2 elevators was functioning in the 1st two days of our stay. And, we were on the 4th floor of the hotel, and the 1 functioning elevator could not be called up to that floor unless someone got in the elevator and pushed the 4th floor button. So we often just took the stairs down. I won't say this was a big problem, and they did warn us ahead of time via email prior to our stay. Once, fixed, everything operated normally. I appreciated the heads up on this. Pros: 1) Clean and comfortable - Overall, the hotel is well maintained. #1 pro! 2) Bathroom was spacious and modern. 3) Conveniently located for our needs. Cons: 1) Outdoor pool only, no indoor pool. The outdoor pool area is nice, but the water temperature, even in August, was too cold for my liking and the pool is not heated. In fact, except for a couple kids, I never saw any person make use of the pool in the 5 days I stayed there. This is my biggest negative on this place, and would detract me from staying there again. 2) Breakfast was good, not great, but good. On busier days, I found that the staff had difficulties in keeping up the supply on the breakfast buffet and the coffee bar. On less busier days, it was much better. Various selections of eggs, waffles, breads, cereals, fruits, etc.. Coffee was also very good. 3) The hotel is situated right next to the I-5 freeway. Both good and bad. My room faced the freeway side, and I found a significant amount of freeway noise coming into the room throughout the night.

- Dalarie (2/5): Enormous Pet Fees 138 on check in - I chose a pet friendly hotel. The pet fee with tax is $137.50 for one small dog. My dog could’ve gotten his own hotel room elsewhere for that price. I hate huge hidden fees. So I will never stay at another Marriott.
- James (8/5): - This is to Expedia. I did not get a full kitchen because they did not have a full kitchen. They had a kitchenette. This is to the hotel. Overall experience was very good. Breakfast was decent and the use for a kitchenette was very handy. The couple complaints I may have is there was a hole underneath a tile floor in the kitchenette that could not be seen but could be felt. Another complaint would be towards parking management. There was TownePlace Suites and Holiday Inn Express practically next to each other. You had a fence separating the two properties. It would have been much more convenient to be able to drive to the other Hotel through the parking lot to pick up other friends instead of going all the way to the street just to get to the other Hotel. I'm not saying you're going to do anything about it, but please consider extending the parking space to where the fence separates the two. It would create extra parking spaces in the future.

- SUZETTE (10/5): AMAZING - My trip to lakewood from vancouver.Washington was supposed to be six hours max, with daylight time still running. Fortunately, I was escaping a domestic violence situation.And I was not allowed to retrieve my belongings, such as winter clothes and toiletries, just because I came back from mexico. Fortunately, this hotel was able to accommodate me extremely quickly.The amenities are so nice.The people that have been checking me in and take caring of me have been so kind and understanding and have been able to connect me with everything I need my room is gorgeous.It's huge.It has two beds and a tiny kitchenette, i'm so happy.Thank you!

- gilesrafol (10/5): Quiet and Comfy, if Not a Bit Out of the Way - Due to the Crowdstrike bug affecting Delta Airlines in July 2024, I had to book a couple nights here, last minute. It's definitely a bit out of the way, between Tacoma and Seattle. I think it was like a 40min drive from SEA, even at midnight. But it was worth it as it's a nice, comfortable hotel. As a TownePlace Suite, it's made for more long-term stays. Which means it has a kitchenette and dining table, which is always great. Since I didn't have a car and I was no longer there to sightsee, I basically stayed in my room two days straight. Having the microwave and other utensils was great for reheating leftovers and such. There's not a whole lot around this property in terms of eateries and shopping. There's a gas station next door, so that was good for getting snacks and supplies. Within walking distance, a Subway, a Denny's, and a couple other local restaurants. So you have a few options. I will say that walking across the main intersection there can be a bit scary. This is right off a highway and the speed limits on the main roads seemed high (or at least people were regularly driving over them). This is a suburban area, where cars dominate. Something to keep in mind if you decide to hoof it. Back to the hotel itself, they had a free breakfast everyday. Nothing fancy, but provided proteins, carbs, fruits, and most importantly, coffee. That was appreciated. And it was quiet place. During the day, I worked remote and was never bothered by noises outside or other guests. The bed was super comfortable. After spending 12hrs in an airport dealing with multiple delays and finally a cancelled flight, it was nice to just lay down on a comfy, clean bed. If you're in the more immediate area for business, or you're passing through and need a place to stay for the night, I think this would be a great option.

There are a lot of defects in the room like door hinges being painted over floor trim that's sticking up dirty tiles in the bathroom that have not been cleaned. A lot of surface areas that have not been cleaned. Stains on the carpet stains on the couches.

Venue was easy to locate. The rooms have a mini kitchen and other features. Property was clean and offered a nice breakfast so our stay was pleasant. Staff was very courteous and professional.

- Brown_Samantha (8/5): Conveniently located off of I-5 freeway clean room and great breakfast - We stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding in Tacoma, as we do not normally visit Lakewood. This hotel is conveniently located just off of the I-5 freeway, very close to the McCord Military Base. There is not a lot of restaurants or cafes nearby. We asked for a west side room, away from the freeway. The windows are a bit on the thin side, as you could still hear traffic. We could also hear people above us walking, but that was not a problem as they were pretty considerate. The room is very clean and lots of closet and storage space. There is a small and complete kitchen setup, great if you wanted to have meals in room. A very roomy four person dining table set was in the room. The only down side is the TV is very small in size, a bit surprising for today's standards. Large bathroom, very clean. Nice toiletries. The only odd part is the towel rack was so far away from the shower/tub, directly behind the door. Not particularly convenient. The breakfast was excellent, even switched up from day to day. Scrambled eggs to fried eggs. Terrific bacon! Lots of variety from pastries to waffles, yogurts and oatmeal. Hard boiled eggs, cereals, etc etc. Quite nice for this level of Marriot. The nice part: FREE parking. That is rare to find now. Definitely a plus.

- Erika (5/5): Noisy hotel rooms at Interstate 5 - Inside our room was well equipped, nice, clean, it looked good in the photos! The noise & sound insulation is completely insufficient of this building, including the window! By our request for a more quiet room, the polite reception lady relocated us to an other room, where "only" motorway noise was disturbing! This building in Takoma is strait near/ at border of 5 Interstate (!), so day & night very high motorway noise! Aircon we could not swich-off, its constant noise was terrible. From outside the hotel pool's engine resonation "moved" our flooring... so finally got an other room.... Pure and terrible breakfast. This hotel does not meet the Bonvoj by Mariott overall standard!!!

- J Scott (10/5): Very nice mini kitchen - Nice hotel with a mini kitchen. Beds were more comfortable than cheaper hotels. Breakfast was decent.

- Krystle (10/5): - This was just a one night quick stay but I would definitely stay here again. Staff were friendly and helpful. They offer earplugs and noise machines for the highway traffic, although I didnt hear anything with the fan running. Bed was comfy, shower was hot and the breakfast we grabbed on our way out was also very good. Overall it was a good stay and we would stay here again if we're in the area

After booking and paying for one night I received an email that the hotel charged a $125.00 non refundable pet fee. If I would have known I would not have booked this hotel.

- Marlene (4/5): - I booked a suite, was put in a handicap room( which was fine) however the room from the beginning had a urine smell. I complained to the desk staff about it and they said they would have the room cleaned and have the carpets cleaned. The room after the “cleaning” still had a urine smell. We did not have daily cleaning or towel replacements, only on request. On my last night I had asked if there was any way I could get a percentage off my stay due to the smell and was told that because I had booked it through a third party there was nothing that could be done. So basically I was stuck in a smelly room for 5 days and no way to get any money back. This is a real problem when going through a third party vendor.

- L (10/5): Awesomely Perfect, But Cold - The employees we're polite and Courteous. Loved the ideal of cook grills by the pool. The COLD pool. But my son didn't seem to mind. He thought it was perfect and that's all that matters and it WAS his birthday.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Unsafe area! - Staff was smoking marijuana outside the front door before we checked in. We had to smell it the entire time we were checking in. Hotel was clean and comfortable. But, as we headed to the parking lot at check out, we discovered many piles of broken glass from car windows being broken into during the night. Several vehicles were broken into. Unsafe area!!
- BrianB411 (8/5): Marriott Lakewood - Hotel is right off I5 south of Tacoma near Lewis-McCord, Air Force/Amry base. Easy access to freeway and Lakewood business. The staff, room size, and amenities met our expectations of Marriott properties during our 3 day stay. It is not a higher-end Marriott property. Outside parking and Breakfast available. Kitchen include in our room.
- Cynthia (9/5): Overall a great experience! I would come back if need be. - Breakfast was average for a buffet. Wish there were more options i.e. bacon, fruit, etc.

- Eric (8/5): Needs some TLC - Room booked via Hotels.com confirmed as having "FULL KITCHEN" and dinner food was purchased to cook in the room. Upon arrival the room had NO convectional Oven, but fortunately the outside BBQ was available and dinner saved ( dodging the rain showers) Corridor carpets in need of cleaning ground floor.

- kellyjoc2021 (10/5): Best place to stay - Very nice place. The staff was excellent from every aspect. The check in was fast and easy, the clerk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and a nice variety and options I would not have expected. The room was perfect and the best part was the shower. Many times the water pressure is pathetic but this was fabulous.
