• Rives (10/5): Everything we hoped for in a place to stay - It was perfect. Very clean and the room was nice in every way. The staff were so helpful. The view from the balcony was so nice. No issues.

• Kinga (10/5): Bardzo udany pobyt poza szczytem turystycznym. - Wielkość apartamentu, bajeczny widok z okna, balkon wchodzący w serce miasta pozwalający na relaks, ścisłe centrum, świetne śniadania, bardzo wygodne duże łóżko. Jacuzzi które niestety nie było odgrzybione. Dysze bardzo brudne przez co nie dało się z niego skorzystać, a miało być dużą atrakcją.
• Jennica (10/5): Sea view and the spacious room. - The location is perfect in the old town. Get a room with a sea view. It was wonderful. The property is clean and cozy. It's really an amazing deal for the quality. Will book again. If you have a very late flight make sure to stay in contact with them because it is not a 24/h front desk. Had a bad experience the first night, but I gave them a second chance chance the next day. It was worth it

• Dieter (10/5): Einfach Klasse, mit Charme... - Der fantastische Blick auf den Hafen von den Balkonzimmern, sehr zentrale Lage. Viele Restaurants, Bars und gute Tavernen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem . Super Frühstück, sehr freundliche Leute, sowohl beim Check-in als auch jeden Morgen beim Frühstück. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Alles war top, hie und da sieht man im Detail, dass manches schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, aber dafür ist es ja ein ehrwürdiges Gemäuer...charmant und mit Charakter.

• Tina (4/5): Disappointed - The location is exceptional. The breakfast wait staff and the breakfast was exceptional. The room was not properly cleaned on any day. The bare minimum of making the bed, removing the garbage and giving fresh towels is all that was done. We had to ask for toilet paper each and every day as only the half roll from the day before was left. The managerial staff dismissed our concerns and were no help. Counters, floors, and shower/tub were not cleaned. We have stayed here previously and did not have these issues. I am wondering if it is a new managerial staff.

Facing the harbour with an unobstructed view of the entire harbour! Greta breakfast provided in a sister hotel just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The sea view room give a very nice view of the sunrise! I got the ‘sea facing King room’ with hot tub in the room! Couldn’t be more satisfied! Will definitely recommend this place. Liked it all!

We had a clean, beautiful room with a port view in front and were able to step right into the alleys and excitement when we walked out the back. Breakfast was amazing and just a few short steps down a pretty alley from this hotel. Staff was all helpful and friendly. I would 100% recommend staying here! ♥️

• Ross (8/5): Nice base in heart of Chania’s old town - Nice place to visit Chania right in the heart of the old town. Taxi couldn’t drop us off at the actual location because it is in a pedestrian only area so we had to ask a couple of people before finding it. But once there it was easy to find our way round and easy to walk to the bus station for our next stop. Shower was a bit tricky to use but we got there in the end.
• Elizabeth (6/5): - Stayed at this hotel in late September on our return from a stay on the south coast. Great location overlooking the Venetian harbour in the old town. We booked a deluxe room with balcony and sea view, I feel we had one the smaller versions of this room grade (called Lord) after inspecting the photos on the hotel website. The room was a little jaded but the bed was large & comfortable, clearly the room has a high occupation rate and it shows. Given that it promotes itself as a 'boutique' hotel we found very few 'boutique' features - maybe the bathrobes help to qualify its 'boutique' status? Sadly 'boutique' is a very over-used and miss-used word these days, perhaps 'shabby chic' would be a more fitting description. The room had a small coffee machine but only 2 coffee pods and no milk or coffee whitener. The young man who checked us in provided a small jug of fresh milk and was apologetic about the amount of coffee pods supplied adding that it was company policy not to offer more than 2 and added that the hospitality tray would not be refreshed during our 2 day stay - not very 'boutique'! The bathroom desperately needs a refurbishment. Black grouting in the shower base suggests a poor cleaning regime along with mould in the toothbrush beaker, yuk! Towel rail fell apart when I put the towels on it!, is this 'boutique'? Reception desk was manned by staff whose attitudes ranged from not bothered to helpful.

• Julia (10/5): - Lovely room with the most incredible views from the balcony. Considering how loud and busy the harbour is the sound proofing muffled it well, but I’d still recommend ear plugs for sleeping. Breakfast is a short walk away and has a nice buffet with absolutely lovely staff. The front desk is a few doors up at the sister hotel, and again the staff are very helpful and welcoming. Housekeeping was superb, do remember to pop a sign on the door so they know you’re ready for the room to be serviced. Be warned that the stairs are wooden and lots of them given the age and nature of the building! So many amazing places to eat so very close by, and a little supermarket just round the corner. There’s noise in the morning when all the delivery vans arrive for the waterfront businesses, but not too early- you’ll be up anyway looking at the sun on the gorgeous harbour from the balcony!

• Dr Nick Kearsley (9/5): - Lovely location in the old city Room a little dark bathroom tiny but Shower good Manager on duty grumpy and unhelpful. We were completely lost trying to find the hotel carrying cases and asking for directions. He saw us outside and made no attempt to offer any help despite knowing he had 2 guests checking in late. 5 mins walking later and coming full circle, we saw him again and finally checked in. He should feel embarrassed at his behaviour we will never stay at that hotel again.

• Caro (9/5): Superbe ! - La décoration de la chambre Marquise, sa grandeur et l'équipement (coin canapé, bouilloire, frigo...). Les petits déjeuners inclus qui étaient très bons (la salle n'est pas dans l'hôtel mais à deux minutes à pieds). L'accueil sympathique. L'emplacement idéal sur le port de La Canée, au milieu des tavernes, bars, boutiques... Très vivant. La beauté de l'escalier intérieur. Calme de l'hôtel. Très difficile de se garer à proximité. Les grands parkings sont très prisés et certains sont réservés aux résidents. Pas d'ascenseur dans notre partie du bâtiment.

We were in the "Duke" room which was more spacious than the "Lord" room my son rented. There is no elevator at the property, You must climb stairs and if you rent a car there is no parking associated with the property. Street parking is crowded and limited
• Salvatore (9/5): Bellissimo hotel diffuso nel centro di Chania - L'hotel è alle spalle del bellissimo porto di Chania, in una piccola strada pedonale in pieno centro. Le dimensioni della camera hanno reso il soggiorno davvero godibile. Lo staff era super gentile e la colazione straordinariamente buona e varia. Davvero tutto perfetto! Mancanza dell'ascensore. Un balconcino avrebbe elevato ulteriormente la qualità del soggiorno.

• Sonya (9/5): Splendid location - Our room location facing the harbor was splendid. We sat on our balcony with coffee in the morning watching food purveyors make deliveries. Then again in the evening with an ouzo watching all the strollers passing by. With the balcony doors closed, there was no outside noise to disturb sleep. Perfect. It was somewhat noisy in the night from young people in the hotel on our floor. We could also hear people above us during the night. It was a small challenge to get up and down the stairs with our luggage. Luckily, while we're older, we're fit.
