• Francisco (10/5): Very Enjoyable Stay - Our stay at Towne Place Suites by Marriott, at Mt. Pleasant, SC, was excellent. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The desk staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly. A breakfast was included. The location is just minutes away from Trader Joe's and Kid Cashew restaurant, which are two of our favorite places. Sullivan Beach was great, also a short drive from Isle Of Palms Beach. High Five 👍

Apparently they made a mistake and we had 2 queen beds instead of a king, which we had reserved. I was unable to have that changed with your staff and whoever handles your customer service on the telephone. I feel that could have been easily corrected. I travel a lot and almost always am able to resolve what I felt was a resolvable situation. But not with your staff, for whatever reason. That started our visit on quite a sour note. We were very disappointed and disenchanted.

• Jordi (9/5): Great base camp to explore Charleston and Sullivan's Island - It is very clean and quite comfortable. The rooms appear to be well soundproofed. Having laundry facilities was very handy. Breakfast could have been better, but fresh fruit was a plus!
• Tyrone (7/5): The front desk and staff were very cooperative in helping to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. - We liked the layout of the room, especially the sofa with ottoman and lounge chair with ottoman. We also liked the placement of the TV because it was not on a wall opposite either room adjacent to us and was on an adjustable wall stand. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and we liked the overall layout. The front desk was responsive to our one complaint concerning the room. The one thing we did not like is the presence of roaches in our initial checked in room on the second floor. At first we saw just two tiny ones in the kitchenette area. We called the front desk and were told the room would be sprayed in the morning. Within an hour we started seeing more of the same in the kitchenette area (tiny and big ones), and bathroom (tiny ones). We called the front desk and requested another room because we were seeing too many and this was with the lights on! They gave us another room on the first floor that was available (we had requested not to be on the first floor when we booked our room but this was all they could offer so we moved to that room at 2:00 a.m.). The next morning the front desk called to inform us they had a room for us on the third floor and we moved to that room where we stayed for the duration of our stay. In summary, our dislikes were two moves and the bugs.

Gym is basic but has enough for a small workout. The rooms were a bit noisy, stayed 2 nights and could hear people walking (or jumping, not sure) from 7pm to 3am both nights.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The location is excellent for touring Charleston or for a quick respite from your road trip. We stayed here while my husband had a medical procedure at MUSC. BEST coffee in a hotel ever.
• Nikki (9/5): Pleasant Stay - The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. The location was great and easy to get to. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We didn't like that there was no full length mirror. In fact there was only one mirror in the whole room and that was the one in the bathroom, which made it difficult for two people to get ready at the same time. Also, the elevator made an annoying sound as it ascended/descended passed each floor. Not a soft ding but think more like the sound of a metal spoon being dropped into a porcelain bowl. This one annoyance did not affect our trip at all.

The room was huge and extremely clean, lots of staples were provided that I would have not an anticipated or expected. Plus, Our room 302 had a loud hvac noise that woke me up a number of times when it turned on. I got little sleep and left your hotel exhausted. I expect better from a Marriott branded hotel.

• jtalbiz (9/5): Best Stay Ever! - The entire experience was fantastic! This is probably the very best hotel and stay we've ever had anywhere. The free breakfast was over the top. They had a different variety each morning. The last morning of our stay, we enjoyed quiche and cheese omelettes, among other items. The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The one and only negative for me was the comfort of the mattress. It was way too firm for my taste. But, was manageable.

• Timothy (10/5): - This was a great stay. We especially want to give a shoutout to Michael at the front desk. He gave us a great welcome to the hotel and was very knowledgeable about the area. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We stayed here versus downtown Charleston and was happy that we did as it was close to Isle of Palms (nice beach area with restaurants) and then also to Sullivan island for Yorktown museum and Ship. The hotel was clean, quiet and great value for money.

• Garnett (10/5): A really great place to stay! - Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was just great! Roomy, with a comfy sofa, desk and nice desk chair, a small but full kitchen with a real drip coffee maker (not the environmentally evil Keurig), ceramic dishes and glass glasses, silverware, a good sized fridge with a full freezer, dishwasher. Very clean, large bathroom with plenty of storage space - same for clothing in the bedroom. I think it's the nicest place we've ever stayed. Would be nice to have ceramic cups, bowls and plates in the breakfast area. Everything was disposable.

• Tamera (8/5): Fantastic customer service - The front desk clerk Michael was fantastic he remembered us from previous visits and was so helpful to us. My husband was having surgery and Michael went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that our room was located on a good place to make it easier to get to after surgery. Even more he remembered our names and addressed us everytime we came in or out. It made a not so fun trip a pleasant experience.

Twice we were locked out of our room. Finally, the second time they were able to get in and get the battery pack changed so it didn’t happen again. Minor inconvenience.
