• Bernabe (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay - Loved the ocean view! The floor was filthy when we got there. I walked from the shower to the other side of the bed and my feet were literally black! HOWEVER when I spoke with staff they cleaned it right away.

Some mold in the shower. The sink sprayed a bit when turned on. Was a bit expensive for the room quality but you are paying for location.

There was alot of noise next door, between 3-4 AM IN the morning , very very loud, pounding moving things around very loud another day also, upstairs was loud too! Next time I would like the upstairs please thank you.

It is an ocean view property, not an oceanfront, so you don't hear the ocean and will not see the ocean after dark The light breakfast was little to nothing The teabags finished the first day and were never replaced The bagels were expired The milk was expired At most times, no one was available at the reception

It’s right across the street from Scarborough beach.(2nd pic was from our balcony) and several miles from block island ferry. Although it is technically a “motel”, it exceeded our expectations. Although not large, the room was very clean and the bedding very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure though no real counter space since bathroom was small. It’s right across from the beach so no parking fee required. The front office offers bagels and coffee which was great. We will be back! Can’t think of anything bad, except of course it’s a little pricier than you would expect for a motel. But considering the location it felt worth it to us

The noise was minimal, and the rooms were clean. My only critique is the Lysol smell used in the room cleaning. I would suggest a cleaner that has less of a residual odor.

• Kate (10/5): - Scarborough Beach Hotel is perfect for beach lovers in Narragansett. Nothing fancy. Easy walk across street to the beach; leave car at hotel and avoid parking fees. Rooms are clean and very well designed - though they may feel small at first the furniture and layout kept us comfortable throughout the day and night. Staff is friendly and helps with any request.

• Theresa (6/5): Please not room next to laundry area. - The room was a good size but it was right next to the area where the staff washes linens. So in the morning there was a lot of noise that was right up against where the headboard of the bed was. That lasted for over an hour…daily. Parking on the backside of the motel is tight and people didn’t park in between the lines and I was forced to park in a non marked spot. I did put my parking pass on my dash though. There was a slight step up to the room from the door that was marked with worn yellow tape. The bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was clean. There was a dehumidifier in the room in addition to the a/c so it was a bit noisy. I shut the dehumidifier off after it became full and I emptied it. I was so excited to stay here because of my stay last year. This stay was meh.
• Maryann (8/5): - The property was clean and well maintained. I would suggest not only vacumming the room but also washing the floors in the room as well as the bathroom. The pads on the mops I saw being used were very dirty. I think they should be changed, for good health reasons, after each room is wiped down. I would have liked to see more choices for breakfast such as fresh fruit in season, whole wheat toast, and or small containers of yogurt
• Sonja (6/5): - The motel location is excellent. But it was not worth $350. They don’t have an ice machine and charge you for ice/water. They exactly charge you for everything!!! Charge for an early check in and no late check out. The breakfast is only bagels & they watch you making it. The room was fairly clean but the floor is so sandy(guess that’s the cost of being near beach).
• Badalato (8/5): Cozy quaint and clean! I would happily visit again! - I love the location! First time ever in Rhode Island and this was a great spot. Convenient beach access and location to other places to eat and explore without being in the middle of high traffic areas. Great price for the area and beachside location. Full size beds aren’t my favorite and the rooms were in the smaller side. But everything was clean and comfortable for the size.
• VanWagner Showers (8/5): Very good - It wasn't our first visit. The staff is always very courteous. It's very clean and the location is directly across the street from the beach. They have a nice little restaurant in the rear of the motel. The food is average hamburgers , hot dogs, tacos, but the proximity is excellent. Book early if you're going in the summer season. We were hoping they had an off season for prices. We still were not disappointed. I can't think of anything else we didn't like.
• Nancy (10/5): - Great location. Clean, safe and walk across the street to the beach! Perfect! No frills in this property but it was perfect for me. Meaning, the bathroom is quite small and outdated, but it was hot and clean. Cute, cute place! Very nice people and staff were exceptional, always asking if you need anything. Ohhhhh, and they have free coffee in the morning!
• ERIKA (4/5): Hotel valido solo se si trova a prezzo basso, altrimenti non vale i soldi spesi - Posizione sulla spiaggia Colazione inesistente Ghiaccio a pagamento tranne per una piccolissima quantità Letti piccoli spacciati per matrimoniali quando invece sono a una piazza e mezza (venduta camera per 4 quando sarebbe stata per 2 persone) Bagno minuscolo Odore di vernice fastidioso Per il prezzo pagato il soggiorno è stato un furto
• Kevin (8/5): - I screwed up and reserved a room for one night but intended two. At check-in, although I had to switch rooms for night 2, they fixed me up and both rooms were nice. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend to friends.
• Joan (7/5): Lovely place to stay v close to Scarborough beach - Location & free breakfast coffee / bagels Lovely room but our beds felt a little damp when we used them on first night. Shower-room a bit tired looking.
• Julie (10/5): - New owners since 2022 have really taken care of the property. Lots of nice upgrades and curb appeal. Staff was friendly and informative. We will be back!!
• Madeleine (8/5): We walked the beach every morning with our coffee. It was a great location perfect for a few days. - Location was perfect, got my oceanview! The room was a little too small for us.

• Joseph (10/5): Clean, well kept up property in a great location - This motel was located right across from the beautiful beach, immaculately clean, and within reasonable driving distance to Newport if you want to visit the mansions. (Be sure to check into the free RIPTA bus route 67 downtown to save on parking!) We were traveling with our adult daughter, so the three bed room was perfect. The staff was attentive and pleasant, and the coffee, juice, and bagels were a convenient quick breakfast. Lovely stay! We enjoyed everything about our stay.

• Geraldine (10/5): - I just love this motel! It is as clean as a whistle and right across the street from the necest beach. A short drive to restaurants and shopping. I'll be back again and again.
