Guest Reviews
- Jenny (10/5): - Good walking distance from Akihabara station. Very quiet and clean. One thing was you have to use your card key to turn on electricity in room. So when I first walked in the room, it was boiling/humid. It cooled down fairly quickly but those first few minutes I was sweating. All-in-all was great price and slept comfortably. Super quiet and the staff was very friendly.
- Minjeong (8/5): - The only thing is the hotel is near by the train so you can hear the sound. Anyone who is very sensitive to the sound, don't really recommend unless you put earplugs on
- Aaron Paul (10/5): - This property was wonderful in every way ! From the staff to the entire building, it was well worth the money spent. The rooms are small but they are just enough for two with limited luggage. Rooms are very clean and the amenities provided are great ! The location is probably one of the best aspects of this trip. Close to absolutely everything. I will definitely stay here again !
- Ho Leung (8/5): - Good and quiet from train station and shopping area. Rooms are small but comfortable. Amazed by toilet seat. Good overall !!
- Nibras (8/5): - Nice hotel near the electric city, very nice, however room is small
- Takashi (6/5): - It's really conveniently located near Akihabara station while managing to stay away from the crowds. It's right in between Akihabara and Kanda for food options and activities. While it's clean and quiet, the hallways are open air so it can be cold or hot depending on the weather and the rooms are incredibly small, even for business hotel rates
- Verified traveler (10/5): Unbeatable price and location. - It is a great hotel for the price and location. Great room size and amenities. 100% recommend if youre looking for aomething in the region
- Mille (10/5): - Good value to stay
Fast check-in and fast check-out
There is only 1 small round table and 2 small round stools, which are difficult to put things on them. It is better to have a retangular table instead of round table and stools
- SANDEEP (10/5): - Excellent staff. Great location. Clean rooms. Only issue is rooms are small.
- Chung Yee Ada (10/5): - It is our second time in the hotel. It is super convenient from the station, plus laundry machines are available
- Stephanie (10/5): - Nice staff, close to everything, but room is quite small ( cant open 2 suit cases)
- Tsz (10/5): - This is my second time and I will come back again. Everything is nice.
- Samuel (10/5): - We stayed for 6 nights at the hotel. It is an amazing value for the price you pay. About 5 minutes walk from Akihabara, or 25 minutes walking to Asakusa. Hotel staff is very helpful and even weighted our luggage for us. There are also 4 washing machines which is very convenient. The room is fairly small, but was enough to open two big suitcases.
- Anjel (10/5): - One of the best features of this property was the location and room. First and foremost, the hotel's location was practically next to the Akihabara station, making getting to and from places very convenient. The room for a single traveller was perfectly priced, and the size of the room was larger than most other hotels, with a nice size bed and enough room to store my luggage nicely. Overall, the setting was peaceful, safe, and priced appropriately.
- Takashi (10/5): - The location was great!
- Gabriel (10/5): - This hotel is in an excellent location. A short walking distance to several major lines. and only two stops from Tokyo station.
- AustinMitch (10/5): Terrific Time in Tokyo - Out of the 3 hotels I stayed at in Kanda and Akihabara this one had the biggest room and bathroom. I was on the 19th floor and had a spectacular view of the Tokyo Skytree which I had just visited. The train station is close and it's on the Yamanote line so you can take the train to the Narita airport(from Ueno station) or Haneda. The hotel was clean, quiet, and my bed was comfortable. Tons of restaurants, cafes, and stores in Akihabara. The hotel did charge extra for the breakfast buffet.
- Lai Ngor (8/5): - Friendly staff
Convenient
- Bruno (10/5): - Great staff; easy access to every part of the city. I particularly like the warmth of the staff and their eagerness to assist when called upon to do so.
- AMY (10/5): - Close to the train station, walkable distance. Prices were fair. And their breakfast option was really good. For 1200 Yen, it was really worth it.
- Matthew (10/5): Excellent hotel just 2.5km from Tokyo station - The room was small, but well-designed and efficient. Very clean, and beautifully presented. Front desk service was better than you’d find in Paris or London. Outstanding. For the price, miraculous.
- Kristy (10/5): - The view from my ro
- Tamara (10/5): - Great location in Akihabara. Quiet hotel with Japanese breakfast offered for additional fee. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. We got a room upgrade when we had to change rooms for bed changes. Highly recommend.
- Zachary (10/5): - Second time I’ve stayed here and will continue. Very short walk to the main area in Akihabara which makes shopping and arcades a breeze even when wanting to stop and take rest during the day. Staff is incredibly helpful and kind.
- Ryan (10/5): - Room was clean, breakfast selection was pretty good if you don't want to head out.
- Kathryn (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay and would recommend! The hotel is well located and clean. Beds are rather hard but this seems common in Japan. They provide pajamas and other amenities.
- Ada (10/5): - Walking distance to everything nearby , staffs were friendly , will choose this hotel again
- S (10/5): Convenient, Quiet, and Well-Located Hotel Near JR - I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic – it’s just a short walk from the JR station, with convenience stores nearby, making it really convenient for any quick needs. There are two routes from the JR station to the hotel, and I highly recommend taking the smaller walking bridge, as it's much closer than the other route. If you’re unsure, just ask the reception for the shortest path.
The hotel itself is quiet and peaceful, especially downstairs. There weren’t many people walking around at night, which made it feel really calm and relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its location, convenience.
- Michelle (8/5): - The hotel was wonderful and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend
- fir (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. The room is a bit small, but for the price and the convenience to many train stations, it is worth it.
The staff also help us to store our luggages when we have a short travel to other area before recheck-in later.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not so good about the toilet - The bath tube was clogged up, the light right above the bath tube was not working, there were flies in the toilet too.
- Lau Luei (8/5): - Stayed there solo and the room was clean and very spacious for one. Interesting layout with a window view in the bathroom. Was provided new towels daily outside my door when asked for no cleaning service.
Property was about a 6/7min walk from the station, wouldn’t say it’s very convenient but alright. Had to cross a bridge with steps while pulling my luggage, was abit of a hassle, but found a slightly further flat route to get to the station, so take note if you have alot of things to carry.
No convenience store below the hotel/directly opposite it either. But there is one nearby at the building behind. Road gets abit dark during night time so ladies traveling alone can be more vigilant. Overall still felt quite safe.
- Macbeth (10/5): - The inn was clean, quiet, and safe. It was accessible to necessary places like convenience stores, groceries, transportation, pharmacy, and tourist spots and souvenirs.
- Sophie (6/5): - Great service and location for Akihabara area. The biggest fall down was how terribly uncomfortable the bed and pillows were. The pillows were exceptionally hard the mattress was old and the wires dug into us.
- Vi (6/5): - We booked similar rooms throughout our trip but were surprised by how small this one was. We upgraded to a bigger room but then were put in a smoking room (even though we had initially requested non-smoking). Was not as clean as we’ve come to expect from Japanese hotels. We stayed at the Via Inn in Shinjuku earlier in our trip and the facilities were exceptionally clean, so it was disappointing to see the state of areas like the elevator at this Via Inn. The area was convenient in terms of transit but by Japanese standards it didn’t feel quite as clean or safe.
- Mathieu (6/5): - Perfect positioning. I will say the overall room leaves a bit too be desired. I higjly suggest you bring your own pillows as the ones here are incredibly flat
- Tayla (8/5): - Really enjoyed our stay at via inn Akihabara! The staff were super lovely and friendly, location was perfect and the hotel had laundry facilities which was very useful. Trains were close by and the main street of akihabara was only a short walk. The only down side was the rooms seemed a bit outdated compared to photos shown and the beds were very firm. This wasn't a huge issue for us though as the location and friendly staff made up for it.
- James (6/5): - The stay was overall good,
Some minor things like small bugs in the bathroom that kept appearing.
Room was quite small for a couple, we had a friend stay in the room next to us that had a more spacious room despite only being for one person
- 444charlottet (8/5): Great location - horrible beds - Great location - on a quiet street but near the centre of Akihabara.
The beds are awfull!!! Hard as the floor and the pillow is not soft and fluffy.
The room was very large and magnificient view from the 22nd floor.
Great breakfast buffet.
The hotel staff wouldn’t help us book a taxi for the airport. We went on the Streets and booked one ourselves but was very surpriced over the lack of service.
- Susan (8/5): - Is ok but communication a little hard
- Mark (10/5): - Great location 5 minute walk to akihabara train station. Great and helpful staff that understands and communicates in english. Breakfast buffet was affordable and had lots of choices. Hotel had laundry on-site, microwave and the room had a mini fridge and hot water heater
- Troy (10/5): - Clean
- Ravish (10/5): - Right next to akhiabara. Check in and out were super smooth and also received my luggage and made that process smooth as well.
- Kee (10/5): - Great balance of convenience and quiet. Close enough to walk to most of the shopping areas, but far enough to be quiet and relaxed.
- Gerry (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Patricia Maureen (10/5): - The hotel wasn’t far from Haneda airport and only a few minutes by train. The train station was less than 10 minutes walk away and you just had to cross a bridge to get the Akihabara Electric town. The hotel was in a quiet area and although there were train lines running behind the hotel it wasn’t too noisy as the windows were really good. The room was clean and you had the option to request house keeping or not to be disturbed. The staff were really nice and helpful especially when trying to get a taxi booked for the airport when returning home. Would definitely stay in the hotel again.
- J (8/5): - Sizes of the room and washroom are okay as in Tokyo. Close to the metro station
Just a bit old
- Prakoso (10/5): - great! staff excellent
- Brett (10/5): - Everything was perfect! The staff goes above and beyond with everything and cares a ton about your comfort!
- Charmaine (10/5): - Staff were friendly
- Brett (10/5): - The staff is AMAZING. Just extremely nice. Everything is perfect here. I highly recommend this hotel!!!
- Ethan (8/5): - Great location
- Cari (8/5): - I booked a twin room. The washroom is really spacious but the room is a bit small. Can only open up one luggage when the door is closed.
- Lenko (6/5): - Location is great - in a quieter neighborhood but steps away from the heart of Akihabara. The room was small and not as clean as it could be. Overall I'd say good bang for the buck.
- Sasanka (8/5): - Great location, super convenient can walk to several train lines. Super close to the Akihabara electric train. Staff was great, room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was good. The room could’ve been slightly bigger as it was too small for 3 of us .
- Woramin (10/5): - 10/10 I would give to this hotel. I stayed with my friend for 9 days. I selected non-smoking twin room. The room is more spacious than I thought for business hotel in Japan. There used to be some review said about noise of train in the night but I heard none of them. The bathtub is also bigger than I thought.
The location is really great. It is near JR station and some Tokyo Metro station which is great when you come back to the hotel in the evening.
Hope to stay here again in the future.
- Kwok Kit (8/5): - Room is moden design and fair size. A/C and Heating is separate control per room so you can adjust comfortable. Only complain is bed too close to window and it's leaking wind so you will feel cool when sleeping. Coins dryer is terrible. You spend 1hr can't dry 5 clothes! Lobby no sofa for customer that is inconvenience. But overall is good value hotel.
- Kee (10/5): - Convenient and affordable. Our go-to hotel when visiting Japan!
- Kevin (4/5): - The room was very noisy. Both from nearby train tracks and from other people walking around the open interior. The room had lots of dust in slightly hard to reach areas pointing to only basic and quick cleaning. The room was moderately comfortable but quite small even for Japan standards.
- Natali (10/5): - SUPER CLEAN, GREAT LOCATION , NEXT TO A LOT OF ATTRACTIONS.
- Lau (8/5): - The staffs are very nice and polite.
- Jack (10/5): - Great hotel only a few streets away from Akihabara and Kanda station. Clean and spacious, check-in and check-out were incredibly and easy.
- Wei Warwick (10/5): Great and reasonable price - Very convenient and clean!
- Holly (4/5): - The room was unimaginable small with a step to tiny bathroom.. we were out for a day and went to somewhere else for the rest of six days. Not recommend.
- Gregorio (8/5): - Nice staff and convenient area.
- Pui Lin (10/5): - The staffs are friendly. I would also like to send my appreciation to a reception staff who run around the hotel with me to locate the Uber which stopped at the back entrance of the hotel while I was having my big luggages heading to airport.
The hotel is convenient as it is just 5 min walk to the subway station. However, it is a bit noisy as it is just next to the railway which operates from 5:xx am to 1:00am @.@
- joanalyn (4/5): - I was given a smoking room when I booked non-smoking room and the room smells so disgusting! I also declared the ages of my two children when I booked and yet when I checked in, they charged me more because one of my kid (age 16) they are charging is adult.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good location but that’s it.
- Gareth (8/5): - Great location if your main focus is Akihabara. Easy access to local train and subway for other areas. The room was functional but you wouldn’t want to spend too much time in there due to the size. The air conditioner really needed a clean but otherwise the room was clean and serviced whenever requested.
- Zhuo (8/5): - Two elevators aren’t enough… every morning is a pain. Washer and dryer not fully functional
- Joseph (10/5): - The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The rooms are a great size and very clean.
- Papon (8/5): - Good:
- Cleaning service / towel replacement everyday (can opt-out)
- Has bathtub.
- Freebies such as drip coffee and toothbrush.
- Walking distance to Akihabara shopping street and stations.
Minus some points:
- No free water cooler, had to buy from combini, I mean in JP you can drink from tap water but a free water cooler wouldn't hurt for a hotel.
- Some front staff has difficulties communicating in English, so some difficulty if you are foreigners.
- Keith (10/5): - The staff at Via INN were very friendly and helpful. There was no issue with communication as all staff I interacted with spoke and understood English. They gladly went out of their way to aid with weighing my luggage.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
- Matthew (10/5): - Only a few minutes walk from Akihabara station and Kanda station, with a few food options close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always greeting you when entering or leaving the hotel. The room was clean and had a spacious bath/shower area. They only issues were the that the beds and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, and you could hear the trans passing at night.
- Nabilah (10/5): - Everything was wonderful. They do room cleaning everyday after 9am-12pm. There were free toiletries which I'm amazed because I forgot my toothbrush on the trip. Would love to come again if there's a chance!
- Chester John (10/5): - Good price!
- Lawrence (8/5): - It is very near the JR station and shopping and dining districts
- Haruko (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and quiet. There was a humidifier in the room, which helped maintain the comfortable living space and experience. I stayed in a twim room with a Japanese-style unit bath. I loved it it. I felt like being at home. The location of the hotel was excellent. It only took a few minutes walk from JR Akihabara station, and there were many convenience stores and restaurants to explore. I highly recommend this hotel if you don't mind a small sized room.
- Jho (10/5): - Best hotel we stayed in so far, very safe and quiet, staff were very helpful and the area is superb and walkable to akihabara, will definately come back here!
- Richard (10/5): - Great place to stay in Akihabara and conveniently located. Enjoyed my stay here.
- Jaymz (10/5): - It’s a close walk to the station and the staff are friendly as always. It’s close to multiple restaurants and has a great breakfast.
- yuki (10/5): - great location
- Edwin (10/5): - I didn’t like that the elevator floor was not clean and the toilets had a septic smell. Apart from that the hotel was amazing I would give it 4/5 and would visit again if I’m back in Japan.
- Tristyn robert mattew (10/5): - Overall was a nice hotel friendly staff
- Raul (10/5): - Superb hotel, very close to the Akihabra station; 3 minute walk. A few great restaurants around. The staff are so nice and helpful with your requests. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.
- Marc (8/5): - Everything you need for a quick easy cheap stay
- Pui Lan (8/5): - My room faces the railway. A bit noisy during day time. Particularly I like the bathroom very much in term of size
- Pablo (10/5): - Good option if you want to stay close to Akihabara and its station.
- Alexandra (8/5): - Great location, nice ans clean rooms!
- Markus (10/5): - Fantastic location, helpful staff, clean room, and adorable mascot.
- Morakinyo (10/5): - Morning Breakfast was Amazing and the Staff were very friendly, and helpful. My family really enjoyed our stay.
There was quiet a bit of dust under our beds.
- Branson (6/5): - I stayed here for 1 night
Location: 4/5
The hotel was a 10min walk from Akihabara Station.
Rooms: 4/5
The room was a typical business hotel style i.e. rather small with amenities on the Ground Floor. Amenities provided were decent. The air-con in the room had a weird smell coming out of it when set to the cooler mode. I had to switch it to the warm mode to not smell the smell
Staff: 4/5
The staff were typical of the Japanese customer service you’ll expect. There was a staff who was clearly a foreigner who could speak good English. Good for travellers who prefer English-speaking staff.
Value for Money: 3/5
Cheers from Hawaii.
- Larry (10/5): - Breakfast was excellent for the Y1,200 , Staff are very Friendly and very helpful , the best is 5 minutes walk from Akihabara station , Room was kept clean . No problem with security .
Will stay again . Thanks again .
- Stephanie (10/5): - Great place to stay in Akihabara. 5 minute walk to the train station and there's a Lawson at the corner. Beds are comfy and we got a great view from our room, we could see Skytree. Definitely would stay again
- Jonathan (10/5): - Very nice and organized
- Adam (10/5): - Friendly staff, good area and very close to the Yamanote Line makes this my go to hotel when I stay in Tokyo
- Shane (8/5): - The room was "regular Japan small" buy you should get bigger if you pay for it. It is very near to Chuo Dori and the Akihabara scene.
Staff didn't speak great English but enough and were extremely helpful. Amenities are set out by the lifts so you take what you need. There are microwaves, ice and vending machines on 3F and 4F. Hotel has a "Left Luggage" area that you can use after you check out.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff were really helpful & service was great
- Robbie (8/5): - Very friendly, clean and convenient. Good value for money in a great location.
Tucked away, far enough for quietness but close enough to reach anywhere quickly.
