• DANIELA (8/5): Boa opção! - O hostel está bem pertinho do centro e fica em um prédio muito bonito. O quarto tem boas camas, boa roupa de cama e banho. A cozinha é grande.

• Bergfeld (5/5): War okay - Es gab eine Sammelbox mit Dingen, die Gäste dort gelassen hatten. Das hatte uns geholfen, da wir kein Duschgel hatten. Der Check in, sehr nüchtern.

Propreté de notre salle de bain impeccable. Calme et convivial Les animaux sont les bienvenus. Les lits n’étaient pas tres confortables

• alexandra (7/5): Der Aufenthalt war zweckmäßig angenehm - Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich konnte den Radiator selber warm stellen. Unkompliziert. Viel Platz zum benutzen auch außerhalb vom Zimmer. Vor dem Checkin warten im warmen Raum. Das Bett war weich. bei dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis kann ich nichts beanstanden… Vielleicht das eine vorgängig gestellte Frage über Booking nicht beantwortet wurde

• Inês (6/5): - The girl who checked us in was super nice. We got a room for four people with private bathroom and it was fine. The beds were not very comfortable but it worked fine for one night. The bathroom has plenty of space and the shower had nice pressure and temperature. Both room and bathroom was very clean. The common areas were also nice and kitchen was big. The place is located in walking distance from the center of town. The bed was not very comfortable.

• Patricia (8/5): Endroit charmant - l'hostel est bien situé. La cuisine est très bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Chambre petite mais très correcte. Place de parking gratuite à l'hostel. Ne pas prendre la prestation du petit déjeuner chez eux, quantitativement et qualitivement. Préférez le faire vous même, une petite coop se trouve près de l'hostel

• Julia W. (6/5): - Die Zimmer waren sauber, die Betten bequem, Bettwäsche weich, es erfüllt seinen Zweck. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer war ebenfalls schön und das Personal ist freundlich. Es ist leider sehr hellhörig, sodass man bei Gästen die noch spät ankommen jedes Mal wach wird. Und die Doppelstockbetten sind zwar sehr stabil, bewegen sich aber bei jedem umdrehen.

• Rick (5/5): - De locatie was perfect en het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Ook kon je de auto heel goed parkeren al voor het inchecken. Douche was opzich redelijk. Bedden waren erg oncomfortabel oude matrassen en veelste klein (als je boven 170cm bent steek je uit). Erg muffen geur in de 4 persoons kamer. Wc spoelt niet door. Ook waren de kamers erg gehorig.

• Michele (6/5): Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, ma la pulizia delude - L’alloggio si trova in una posizione comoda e panoramica, con una vista incantevole sulla cittadina di Pitlochry e a soli 5 minuti dal centro. È una scelta senza pretese per un pit stop durante un viaggio in Scozia, comoda e funzionale. L’accoglienza è stata molto buona: la ragazza alla reception è stata gentile e disponibile, consigliandoci ottimi ristoranti e facendoci scoprire una gelateria con un gelato all’haggis sorprendente — un’esperienza gustosa e tipicamente scozzese! Purtroppo, la pulizia della stanza lascia molto a desiderare: abbiamo trovato tappi per le orecchie sul pavimento, briciole sulla moquette e un generale senso di trascuratezza. Dà l’impressione che la stanza non sia stata pulita a fondo da tempo. Peccato. Però per il prezzo e la posizione, va bene per una notte, ma non aspettatevi standard elevati.

• Si Ning (7/5): Nice stay - Located close to the Main Street and grocery store. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Great community of other travellers. No wifi signal in my ensuite room.
• Anke (4/5): Ik kom niet terug - De locatie was prachtig O.a. het ontbijt, je betaalt bijna 7 pond p.p. Voor een beetje yoghurt, fruit wat er al 6 dagen ligt en wat droog brood. Verder was het tweepersoonsbed eerder een twijfelaar waar je eigenlijk niet met twee volwassen mensen in kan liggen. Verder is het erg luidruchtig; je hoort echt alles.

• Clémence (9/5): Très jolie auberge - C'est une très chouette auberge, il faut grimper un peu pour y arriver mais la vue depuis la salle à manger le matin en vaut la peine. Je ne suis restée qu'une nuit, le lieu avait un peu une ambiance colonie de vacances, plusieurs familles y étaient. Les gens étaient calmes et respectueux. Il n'y avait pas de casiers dans les chambres, mais je ne me suis pas sentie inquiète. Lit confortable, avec une couette épaisse et deux oreillers. Chocolat chaud, thé et café gratuits dans la cuisine. Cuisine ouverte 24h/24, bien pratique C'est un vieux bâtiment, ça grince et ce n'est probablement pas très bien isolé, mais c'est aussi ce qui fait son charme.

• Coline (7/5): - L'auberge de jeunesse est bien placée sur les hauteurs de Pitlochry avec une belle vue sur le village et les alentours. Il y a des espaces communs (cuisine, salle à manger, salon) qui sont sympathiques et bien aménagés. On peut également se garer sur place. Difficile de vraiment apprécier le confort et la propreté des chambres et de la salle de bain : déchets sous les lits, cheveux et poils dans la douche... Les lits sont ceux d'une auberge de jeunesse : pas très grands, ni très confortables et assez bruyants.

• Tatjana (8/5): - The common areas were beautiful and comfy. I felt like royalty sitting there :) The bathroom in our room. The shower could easily flood it and the cistern did not work well so we had to use other toilets in town.
• Caterina (7/5): Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis an toller Lage - Tolle Lage, Parkplatz vorhanden, auch wenn teilweise sehr eng für größere Autos. Tolle ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, tolle Aussicht vom Esssaal aus. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen, müsste renoviert werden, vor allem das Bad.

• Steven (6/5): - The building is beautiful, full of character and the staff were excellent. It is a short walk to the main street, so is a great location. Unfortunately the beds were terrible. I had a bad back afterwards for a week, so it wasn't worth staying there.

• Aurélien (4/5): - Bon emplacement à proximité du centre ville Établissement vieillissant: manque d'entretien dans la chambre : plafond qui tombe en lambeaux, impossible de boire l'eau du robinet (premier ça que je vois ça en Ecosse), robinetterie capricieuse : l'eau s'écoule tout doucement dans la douche, un câble électrique est accroché à la douche, lit inconfortable avec des matelas beaucoup trop mous. Tout ça pour un prix excessif au vu de la prestation. A éviter
• Bianca (8/5): Good location - The bed was super comfortable and was a great size. The hostel provided two pillows. I stayed in shared room which was absolutely fine. The bathroom is basic but clean. Great location to explore Pitlochry. For my first hostel stay, it was adequate for a short stay. I only noticed limited parking on site but was lucky enough to get a spot. Although it was expected, there is no lift to get up the stairs so do be mindful if you are carrying a large, heavy suitcase. In saying that, there aren't too many steps and it is a straight staircase. There isn't too much room for luggage in the shared rooms but that was also expected. No lockers in the rooms.
• Roisin (9/5): Great value for money - Value for money was great as we needed a room to fit 3 adults for one over night while visiting enchanted Forrest. We stayed in 4 bed private dorm was perfect for what we needed. Beds were comfortable. Bedding pleasant. Shower curtain allowed water out onto bathroom floor. Toilet flush wasn’t great. Bright green exit light was uncomfortable when sleeping in one particular bunk bed. Rooms were noisy could hear other toilets flushing during the night.
• Robert (8/5): - Gute Lage in Pitlochry mit kurzen Wegen in die Stadt. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit zwei Stockbetten und einem eigenen Badezimmer. Für uns zu viert absolut ausreichend für eine Zwischenübernachtung.
• wendy (9/5): Great stay - Great stay as ever. Love the kitchen facilities, communal living areas and view from dining area. Charging points in bunks. Family room with own bathroom. Fabulous location handy for everything and lovely outside picnic tables to watch the sun go down behind the hills.

My 2 year old daughter was also allowed to stay for free. The kitchen is huge and clean with all the basic amenitites. cannot recommend enough nothing to add here
