- Maria (10/5): - I loved the location, loved the set-up and I loved how clean and tidy it was. Nothing to dislike.
- Geoffrey (8/5): A must visit property Excellent value for money Well worth the drive - The location says it all. Sky lodge shares the property of probably the best aircraft museum in Australia The accommodation is clean comfortable and spacious Staff are friendly and accommodating I really like this property which has the added attraction of some beautifully restored aircraft. There is also a nice café on site for eats
- Erasmus (9/5): Will come again Breakfast was a bonus!! Even had gluten free bread!! - Initially felt a luke strange set up having a communal kitchen area but it turned out a great idea. Had lovely conversations with other guests but never felt we were in each other' s space. Really made our stay special. Liked it all but suggest labels on the breakfast foods in the fridge to distinguish it from other guest's property .
- Samantha (7/5): - The amenities were clean the rooms were clean an the beds were the best. People in other cabins slamming doors in the morning before 6am.
- James (10/5): - Great Common kitchen
- Lucy (10/5): -
- Yevhenii (10/5): -
- Donna (8/5): - this was good for a one night stopover. it had all the basic things you need . it was right next to the aviation museum which was the prime purpose of our visit the outlook from the window was all water tanks which was uninspiring. the interior is pretty bland but adequate
- Tracy (9/5): - Good to stay are looking through museum Noise from other guests.
Toilet intermittently filling overnight, must have a leak
- Melissa (10/5): -
- P.&.R (10/5): Best accommodation I've been too in my travels - Everything, there was sufficient breakfast items, the beds were comfortable and staff were friendly, you couldn't of asked for a better stay. one of the guest wasnt as friendly but that has no reflection on the place. I really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend
- Kelly (9/5): Right next to the aviation museum - Located right next to the aviation museum. Appreciated having breakfast cereal provided and liked the historical touches to the common area.
It was a short drive to the public swimming pool (which had a great waterslide and kids' pool) and pubs for dinner. The room was on the cosy side for a family, but nothing to complain about really.
- Bobbie (6/5): I would definitely go there again and recommend the place. Clean and simple basic accommodation - Comfortable, clean and a great group environment if a family group was going for a Wedding, etc Couldn’t get anyone on the phone on the listed number. It rang out three times. I messaged via the app that this had happened and someone replied that they hadn’t had any missed calls. I’m not sure what happened there then ?!?! Supplies weren’t topped up either in the Common space when we were there for a multi day stay. I feel this should have been part of our cost of staying ??
- Barrycooda (10/5): - Everything, all rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable plenty of breakfast supplies, milk coffee tea etc. Overall a very pleasant experience. Will be staying again. Nothing !

- Kimberi (8/5): Comfortable and restful. Recommended. - Breakfast was good for the price. The location was interesting, and a novelty for us. We arrived in Temora after dark, and it was a bit disconcerting being lead out of town by Google Maps, and then I was confused by the "Headquarters" sign. But once we settled in, all good. On arrival (at night), looking for our room number, I didn't see any clear numbers visible from the carpark to indicate where our room was. The "Headquarters" sign on our building added to the initial confusion.
- Fiona (8/5): Comfortable for a night. - Easy checkin instructions were provided. The location is out of town.
- Tara (10/5): -
- Grant (9/5): We had a comfortable interesting night with the history of Temora - Location & all the history posted around the unit/museum grounds It could get very noisy if all rooms are busy. The communal kitchen/lounge area not big.
- Sandy (8/5): - liked our room and the size of the bathroom
- Jo (8/5): Short stay en route to Young - Light, continental breakfast was provided. Rooms are adequate - we would recommend extended families travelling together to book a few rooms. Perfect for that purpose. It was unusual to be staying right in the middle of what felt like the runway!
- Bill (8/5): -
- Alison (10/5): Great for short stay - Clean

- Alex (9/5): Great overnight stay. Loved the simulator. - Convenient to museum , roomy and clean, good facilities for an overnight stay Beds were a bit firm for some of the family, would have liked a coffee table for family board games. Check in was a bit confusing. Normally, check-in details are provided a few days, up to a week in advance. Without this, it was assumed to be like a normal motel. We were fortunate to arrive before 4 pm and sort admission. Another guest arrived later and required our assistance. We will know for next time.
- Terence (9/5): Generally good - Good Rangehood light still not working
- Dan (8/5): -
- Atul (6/5): Not bad experience, but could be easily improved. - Nice location.
Clean area. All facilities working as expected. Internet connection through wi-fi was slow.
The advertisement mentioned breakfast included and supplies refilled daily. But there was no bread, I messaged in the morning to ask if it is included but didn’t get timely response.
Eventually the response was that bread was in freezer. As a customer we don’t know if a common refrigerator has someone’s personal items in fridge or something provided by host. And no one replenished breakfast items daily.
- Rick (8/5): Comfortable - Close to Aviation Museum and cafe. Had cooking facilities. Could not get ch 2 and 8 on Tb
- Nicole (10/5): Beautiful - Everything - it is a very good set up and felt like a home away from home. The kitchen and lounge is a great size and easy to move around. Everything is so clean and well presented. The communication between us and the host was prefect. It wasnt noisy at all even given how close you are to the Airport. Have nothing to add here at all
- Erin (9/5): -
- Paul (1/5): We canceled our stay and found alternate accommodation - Nothing Too far from town centre - shared facilities similar to a room in a hotel with a shared bathroom.
- Joshua (3/5): Dissappointing, dusty and uncomfortable. - dirty, dust and fluff all throughout, mould in bathroom and hair and crumbs in the bed. Bed was very uncomfortable and the A/C was pathetic and smelly
- Nick (8/5): Quiet location next to air museum The communal kitchen and lounge was very good -
- Ian_Parrott (8/5): Good stay, very comfortable and terrific value for money. - Clean and well presented Communal arrangements for kitchen and living space
- Mark & Megan George (8/5): -
- Debian (9/5): Enjoyable. - It was comfortable, the fa ilities were great. Less than 24 hours notice of electricity blackout.
- Bernadette (7/5): Comfortable but somewhat unsettling. - Cleanliness, comfort of the room. It was isolated and with no staff on premise, it was very daunting to be the only guest( one other attired both nights ). The interior door security did not engender a feeling of safety and security when the location was so isolated.
- Kerry (9/5): I love the full kitchen. Also that breakfast is supplied. I stay here every school holidays. - It felt like home away from home. Nothing
- Zoe (8/5): -
- Geraldine (8/5): -
- James (10/5): -
- Wendy (10/5): -
- James (8/5): Clean, comfortable & lovely communal lounge & kitchen. - Clean, comfortable bed & good shower, good heating/cooling (including in the bathroom), lovely modern communal lounge & kitchen area. Light in the bathroom didn’t work, but was a minor issue as the heat lamps worked well as lighting on a cool night.
- Peter (9/5): -
- Nicolas (10/5): -
- Robert (9/5): Great - All good
- David (8/5): Clean, well maintained and more than adequate for overnight stay. - Continental breakfast - adequate N/A
- KATHRYN (10/5): Loved the whole stay and would come back if we did not live so far away - Good breakfast. Great location. Cleaning lady was very friendly and efficient. Just a lovely lace to stay and do near the museum . Nothing
- Bruce (9/5): The place was absolutely suitable for our stay. - Sufficient breakfast. Good for access to the museum.
- Gnanavadivelu (10/5): - It was cozy with aircon and suitable for families and plus it comes with bunk beds
- McLeod (9/5): -
- Carol (8/5): -
- Robyn (9/5): -
- Ingrid (10/5): - Very convenient spot for overnight parking when towing. Very comfy bed, clean and quiet. Basic brekky options a bonus.
- Suwaree Lekpong (10/5): -
- Russell (10/5): - Setting at the Aviation precinct was unique, great communal facility.
- Jasmin (10/5): - Very clean, safe and welcoming.
- Jeffrey (7/5): Restful.had a very good nights sleep - Great location. Quiet and restful Courteous and efficient staff. Nothing. All was good
- BRUCE (8/5): Good basic accommodation if you are flying in for activities on the airfield. - Continental breakfast supplied, make your own
- Carolyn (10/5): - Beautiful & clean.
Breakfast provided.
- Jennifer (10/5): -
interesting!
- ian (8/5): - Self serve in the kitchen with others...OK it was what I expected
- David (10/5): - I have stayed there before, and am very satisfied with price.
- Sonja (4/5): -
- Gaurav (9/5): Clean facility next door to the Aviation museum - Great location, flexible checking, clean and functional facilities. If I had the time, I'd have written more positive details. This was a great place and we were lucky only 2 out of 8 rooms in our block were occupied. Could be different if all 8 rooms were occupied.
- Suzzanne (8/5): Would like to stay longer to enjoy the museum, gidt shop - Size of the rooms, very clean and continental breakfast available in kitchen. Cafe in grounds was very good staff were very friendly Im short so had difficulty putting the key in the return box. But took it to the cafe a d they took care if it for me
- Greg (10/5): - The premises offered everything listed, clean , comfortable, a pleasure to stay at
- Ian (9/5): Absolutely fantastic. The SkyLodges, the museum, the cafe, the airport, and of course Temora, are very attractive. - Being co-located with the Aviation Museum is unbeatable. And the accommodation was superb. There was nothing we didn’t like, but… if we had been sharing with guests who wanted to talk into the night in the lounge area, sleep would have been tricky. Any way to put in sound deadening?
- Cynthia (9/5): Comfortable for an overnight stay - It was quite clean and comfortable I wasn’t keen about the shared kitchen, but it was okay
- Trevor (8/5): -
- Heather (7/5): -
- Linda (8/5): Staff were helpful and best location! - You can’t beat the location! Walls a bit paper thin so you can hear people in the communal kitchen or using their shower.
- Morgan (8/5): -
- SOMNATH (10/5): - We had an amazing stay in this clean, cozy accommodation close to Temora Aviation Museum. Rooms are clean, breakfast arrangements are fantastic, and the location is undoubtedly convenient!
- Cara (9/5): Beds by planes - It was extremely clean! Rooms were comfortable. Walls are paper thin, the layout makes it very difficult when put in with big groups or families. You can hear everything especially when others are in the common room or up late at night talking.
- Lyndsay (8/5): - Breakfast basic but good variety
Location adjacent to Air Museum yet easy drive to town
- Geoff (10/5): - It was very comfortable and clean and warm, which was a bonus considering the temperature got down to -2 Can't think of anything.
- Kim (10/5): -
- Cliff (10/5): - Excellent all round
- kate gordon (10/5): Short Stay - It was cheap and cheerful. The room had everything we needed and the brekky was a bonus.
- Jin Jin (6/5): Acceptable for the price - Very clean It was a 4 bedroom cabin, shared with other guests. Not soundproof, could hear noise from other guests using the shared kitchen at night & early morning
- James (9/5): -
- Bruce (8/5): - I had to visit McDonalds in Temora, to ask the staff, where the SkyLodge was located. Fortunately, a young employee had access to maps on her phone. Once I found the venue, everything was simple and straightforward and made sense..
- Dean (8/5): Clean, quiet but not for me. - Nice clean rooms, quiet location A little too far out of town, not very private with shared kitchen & living area.
- David (10/5): - Right next to Aviation Museum. A bit out of town. Great common area for eating and relaxing
- Liam (8/5): - The museum nearby is great
- Scott (10/5): Excellent for people wanting to stay near the museum - Good location right near the museum, not too far from town, accomodation has most things you will need, heating was good. Could charge my EV overnight onsite Would be great to have a lounge chair in the common room.
- Kym (10/5): The accommodation was new, clean, secure, warm, staff were very friendly and happy and accommodating - Everything was great. The breakfast was simple but for road travellers we just want what was provided (toast n cereal and hot drinks) to be on our way quickly.
- Michael (8/5): - For the rate we were charged, very good value, comfort and amenity. The Temora Aviation Museum is worth a visit if you’re interested.
We didn’t like how the room (12) and Skylodge (rooms 9-12) shared areas differed from what we’d expected, based on the Wotif description and photos.
The Wotif room description lists a desk (and laptop workspace). Room 12 had no desk. We both had large laptops we wanted to use for extended periods.
The shared living room did not have three leather sofas as shown in the Wotif photos, but a row of single chairs along one wall much like a waiting room. The other wall had a row of high bar stools under a long wooden shelf, which provided somewhere to sit and eat. The kitchen wasn’t the one with a meal bench and stools as shown in Wotif photos, either.
Expectations need to be set more accurately, by Wotif, and by Temora Skylodge, to avoid disappointment.
Looking at the Temora Skylodge’s own website, in retrospect, we realise we were given a room in the “Headquarters” building. If we’d booked direct we could have expressed a preference for the style of shared living areas shown for “Bomber & Fighter Command” buildings. However that still doesn’t explain the lack of laptop work area. The Temora Skylodge’s own website describes their Queen rooms as containing “a work station for the business traveller”.

- Andy (1/5): Never again , left very tired and felt uncomfortable all night 😡 - Nothing Staff was rude on phone , advertising very miss leading as common room and kitchen were in same room as beds , having strangers in same accommodation, was very uncomfortable to them and us , should not be let out to multiple families at one time . Not very safe. Breakfast was 2 frozen crust in freezer for 10 people .
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional -
