The bathroom was smaller than some en-suites we have occupied over the years of travelling, the only windows in the room were smaller highlights just under the ceiling (this made the room very dark and claustrophobic.) The cupboard to hang clothes was shared with a bar refrigerator The bathroom was smaller than some en-suites we have encountered over the years of travelling, the only windows to the room were louvered hi-lights situated at ceiling level on the wall, this made the room very dark and claustrophobic.The clothing cupboard was shared with a bar refrigerator and the lighting in the very small bathroom was inadequate for ladies to apply their make up.

Nils (8/5): A comfortable stay, in a nicely presented hotel - Room was neat and tidy. Bed was clean and comfortable. Had a meal in the bistro, which was good as well. On arrival, I entered through the bar (I didn't notice the driveway entrance). A manager there was very helpful, getting us checked in easily. Bathroom was a bit on the tight side in regards to space, but more than useable for short stays

Kenny (9/5): Easy instructions, clean and comfy room, GOOD POWER PORT POSITIONING. - The power ports were right next to the bedside. Very very good for needing to charge phone and my nebuliser. Great that it had all the essentials there. It was a super clean room as well. I came in late, so I didn't have contact with staff, but the instructions were very clear and it was so easy to navigate when I came in late and exhausted. Bonus: the light in the hallway is very fun lol n/a

I couldn’t understand that the doors to the study were on a sensor. Spent 20 minutes looking for the switch. Then when I used the study the sensor kept going off if I was not moving. Not a huge issue though.

Tracy (5/5): Don't waste your money - Restaurant food was not bad. Burger and meatballs a little dry. 1st room smelt like a mouldy wet dog. Moved to 2nd room which had very high windows, internal-type room. Dirty. Dust on every surface. Shower needs a good scrub. Taps not cleaned. Both bedside tables had sticky drink rings - not cleaned. Mirror behind door was very dusty and smudgy. Even the lift was dirty - handprints on every surface and tiles not mopped. A power outage for the whole town on a hot night and I know of people who left as their rooms were too hot. No opening windows. Common areas locked when I went to investigate and no staff to be seen, No duty of care to guests who were left in the hotel not knowing what was going on. no staff stayed on site., no information given to guests before they all left. NEVER AGAIN!

Nix (9/5): Friendly, accommodating staff, comfortable rooms, good quality restaurant. - Beds are very comfortable, and I have a bad back, so that was a welcome change from most hotels. Though the room for one was small, the high ceilings make it feel bigger. Rooms are very quiet. Nice to have a good restaurant attached.

Amanda (8/5): Good location - The room was quite good, had everything we needed, comfortable bed and amenities. It could do with a bit of a total spring clean, a bit dusty and the shower needed a decent deep clean. Overall we were happy with what we paid and the standard of the accommodation . Great location for what we needed We had a meal in the restaurant downstairs which was delicious. The food really was fabulous. We ended the meal and walked in the bar part - it was 920pm. There was a small amount of people in there. We stood at the bar for what felt like a full 5 mins, then was asked "what did you want" - we wanted a drink before bed. We got a spiel on how they had been shortstaffed and had had a really full on day but they could basically manage pulling a beer for us. Then while drinking it staff were busy putting chairs and stools up on tables around us. That put a downer on the evening. We felt like we were inconveniencing them and it was early. It was pretty rude service unfortunately and they are advertised as being open "late" on a Saturday night

Bathroom was lovely & shower had great pressure. The room felt a bit smaller than was shown in photos. Could very easily hear next door neighbours coming and going as the doors shut very loudly.
